  1. I am a proud enthusiastic imbiber.....
  2. You most likely right....Trump never keeps his word...
  3. Are you sure they will be another Presidential Election??
  4. Very Hard question....it seems you are both asking what is Reality. According to my readings of the Ancients Writings of the Wise....All is Mental and all that exist are but Thoughts of and in The Mind. According to Modern science...Reality is at its most basic or most refine is entirely and exclusively is Vibrations - which give rise to Frequencies Energies Waves and Fields of Forces All Forms of Perspespective and Perception is Personal... true Perspective is a Constituent of Personal Reality....it forms or how you see and interprete Shared Reality. Yes...it maybe another Shared Reality....Like Dreams But in this Shared Reality it is seen and treated as a distortion of the Individual's Mind.....Hence a Personal Reality Perception is a Constituent of Personal Reality....Distorted or not Agreed All Realities are Primarily Personal...Subjective For it to be otherwise then you would not or must not exist Ancient Wisdom I agree
  5. True All perspective is a Personal Reality.....be they hallucinatory illusionary or delusionary Environments are Shared Realities.... From a Personal Reality he is right... When at my Parent's home I am a son and sibling......when I am home with wife and kids I am a husband and father but it is the same Shared Reality.... The Ancients have a Saying "you can never step in the same river twice for it is not the same river and he is not the same man" In short what they are saying is that your Personal Reality changes every instant....even while our Shared Reality changes Gradually Two different Personal Realities Same Shared Reality different Personal Reality Here is an example of Shared Reality not fully agreed upon or often referred to as speaking two different language whilst using the same words with different meanings. One individual might be is thinking from the persective of taking it to the side walk for pick up and the other might think it is outside the house whilst its still in the yard. One individual might be thinking the house as entailing the boundaries of the property lines whilst the other might be thinking the house as the building they shelter in. In the example above I gave....The problem in their reality is that one individual does not recognize the difference between a house and a home.
  6. I think what is being discussed is two Realities Personal Reality is denoted by his use of the "HIS" Persoal Reality Shared Reality.. Shared Reality Enviroment are a product of Shared Reality.. Shared Realities... Shared Reality Personal Reality Shared Reality Shared Reality We exist simultaneously in both(many) realities.. St.Louis and the people of St.Louis are Shared Reality.. The Experience and perspective are Personal Reality Shared Reality St.Louis and the United states are a product of Shared Reality..... Both do not exist every Where or in every Time...Or every Reality We have agreed they exist in this time and this place....And in this Reality Hope that helps.
  7. That is the main frame...All Realities are basically Subjective Objective Reality is a Projection of our Subjective Reality Pretty much in line with what @Troy has said in terms of silo or bubble filters - being what I call Personal Reality They Only part of reality that is Objective is that which is Shared in Shared Reality... We can only access Shared Reality through our own Personal Reality Our Personal Reality is formed by our Perspective - Opinions Thoughts Biases and Experiences we bring to Perception - That which we pay Attention to and the Understanding (Meaning and Interpretation) we take away
  8. The way I see it is that there is : All Realities are primarily Subjective Shared Reality and Personal Reality Shared Reality is Socially and Culturally Informed(inculcated) and Agreed to....Subjective Objective Personal Reality is informed by Perspective and Perception......Subjective. None of these Realities are stagnant but are forever in constant state of flux....whilst each instant is accessible as static current ongoing memory - The Eternal NOW
  9. You think we are going to uproot 400 yrs of indoctrination in a decade....From Tignon Laws to the Crown Act It is a nuance issue - Having to do with Racism Texturism Colorism and Featurism....so it is ongoing A luta Continua - the struggle continues How Black women have been empowered to wear their natural hair during the pandemic | Nightline Self Hate in anyone regardless of Race is an indication of Poor Sel-Image and is considered a mild mental disorder or body dismorphia..... People displaying these symptoms are in need of help whether they know it or not.
  10. Yes....one drop rule - they black. No two places have the same amount or type of crime Its not Only Poverty.....but poverty is one of the main elements of crime - socio-economics.
  11. You were a part of this "counter racist" group? Cool The results are clear. After the unconditional payments began, there was “a change in violent crime that amounts to 350 fewer violent crimes per 100,000 people compared to other towns.” Dauphin’s violent crime levels averaged 600 per 100,000 people so “[t]he magnitude of the effect is quite large.” Further, the total number of crimes dropped “to 1,400 fewer total crimes per 100,000 people” compared to an overall crime rate that “averaged about 8,000 per 100,000 people.” There was also a substantial drop in property crimes. https://www.okjusticereform.org/blog/how-poverty-drives-violent-crime According to Aristotle it does he is known to have said...."Poverty is the parent of Revolution and Crime" Worst poverty is also being presently criminalize. The Poor are incapable of committing white collar crimes....crimes of violence as is the case with most crimes is one of opportunity. It is still on going as the Natural Hair Movement etc... I respect all peoples regardless of race or color.. They are people too....with human foibles
  12. As is expected by the tone of your comments Most people in general are surface level. Yes many black individuals are angry and some are violent....not any more than white people. Yes...in too many cases this is still true. As Malcolm asks "who taught you to hate yourself" ? As an Answer to 400 yrs of indoctrination that Black is inherently ugly by White Racism.... We responded with the "Black is Beautiful Movement" in the 1960 No...that is not directly responsible for "tribalism diaspora wars gang violence and name calling"... That more affects personal and interpersonal relationships directly. "tribalism diaspora wars gang violence and name calling"....are more directly affected by Poverty Unfair Trade Interventionism Policy and Benign Neglect Please explain more? That's a heavy accusation of a respected member of the Black Movement and Community... What are referring to as "Counter Racist Science"? And what role does Neely Fuller's philosophy play? In particular which quote of Neely Fuller's most encapsulate this Ideology? That is reasonable.... Aren't these the (prolific counter racist)people most in need of our help. Sounds like you spreading hate and exclusionism....xenophobia and or nationalism - racism Maybe too late for some.
  13. Be that as it may.... Voluntary Slavery was practise all over the globe through out time....Selling yourself to pay off debt or to earn income abode and or land wife or cattle in exchange is common. It cannot be....they are all in the bible and you are using the bible to support your opinion....so the bible is most relevant. It condones Enslavement... It does not condone or support .....European style enslavement of Africans as it was exercise in the West. If taken by itself and out of context with the rest of the bible. We all have our choices....and if you choose wilfull ignorance - thats your choice.
  14. No it is Not contradictory.....based on my use and understanding of the word Tangible and the way and context in which I used it in this thread. Yes One can see color so it is visible.....but you can recognize color by touch. You are entitle to your opinion.. I have used the word touch to demonstrate what context ....you trying to conflate will not change the fact that you cannot tell color by touch - be it your penis or some one else And I have clearly shown another dictionary definition which states :- capable of being perceived especially by the sense of touch I already know the answer....I cant
  15. Jamaicans leaving Paradise to enter into Voluntary Enslavement Here is a modern day example of people signing up/volunteer to be enslaved for pitiful amount of renumeration....many having less Rights now than the ancient Hebrew Slaves of yesteryears. That how it work in that ancient society and it is still being done today under different auspices and wording Migrant workers compare working conditions to systemic slavery | Your Morning They need a place to live and food to eat and money to buy clothing....so yes - the sign up for it because it is better than what they currently have. And the promise of future employment - is why they are asking for Permanet Residency Status (socalled slaves forever) Even individuals in death camps find time and occasions to laugh and be happy....if only momentarily. Servitude is OK by me...but the translator choose to use the word slave - any idea why??? So it comes to how the translator of scripture choose to interprete Hebrew words and what is and was meant be the word slavery at the time of translation and when it was used in Hebrew. The First english translation of the bible was around the 1500.....African slavery by European started around the Mid 1400 I agree... Hence for that reason the Hebrew people had laws against kidnapping, selling and buying of Human beings....the punishment was death Exodus 21:16 New Living Translation “Kidnappers must be put to death, whether they are caught in possession of their victims or have already sold them as slaves. English Standard Version “Whoever steals a man and sells him, and anyone found in possession of him, shall be put to death.
  16. No not true....except for prisoners of war No slave under hebrew /Israel law can be a victimof kidnapping....if so both the buyer nd the seller may be put to death If after one signs/agrees to terms of enslavement then refuse to work...then it is the Right of him or her who purchased your service to enforce compliance They do have the choice to run away and all memebers of society are bound by law to protect their new freedom. If the persons who purchases your services is responsible for you losing a tooth they must set you free... If the enslave loses his or her life and the enslaver is at fault then......the enslaver will be punished - mostly likely put to death None of the above is true of European enslavement of Africans yes Yes it condones but does not support Not circles....trying to extricate you from your confusion of equating European barbaric enslavement of African as common to all forms of enslavement And I have shown you the same verse in another translation that shows that is not the only interpretation As well as why the translation I provided is closer to the truth...of what was meant There is no contradiction on this point....it is plain as the day is long.
  17. I already accept that....shown means to see -I never had a problem with that. We as in every one with normal sight can see color....color is intangible - but visible My problem is that neirher you or I and most people cannot discern color be touch..... You cannot touch a rainbow...but you can see a rainbow....you can both touch and see a penis - but you cannot determine the color of a penis by touch alone. So the question is could you tell the color of a penis thats not your own by touch?
  18. Always willing to help. Tagible as in real and not imaginary.... But Not Tangible as in touch... I have made that distinction from the start....that you cannot discern color by touch... Now you trying to conflate it will realness... Yes but can one but can one discern color....rainbows are real can you touch it??? 1 a : capable of being perceived especially by the sense of touch : palpable b : substantially real : material 2 : capable of being precisely identified or realized by the mind her grief was tangible 3 : capable of being appraised at an actual or approximate value tangible assets https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/tangible#:~:text=%3A capable of being perceived especially,or realized by the mind
  19. The definition given assumes you understand that the word "or" is every where you see comma.......if they had used the word "and" then you would be correct. real and not imaginary; able to be shown, touched, or experienced Rainbows are real and not imaginary....so they can be shown or seen Rainbows are not physical so they cannot be touched... It may help if you find the definition of tangible in its noun form It is that bad....one cannot discern color by touch - color is intangible
  20. The reason its not adding up is because your definition of Enslavement is tied to European Enslavement of Africans. Yes that is the Law Statutes or Ordinances of Israel...everybody gets paroled And I quoted you the same verse that said differently...."to the age ye lay service upon them," Yes....50yrs is not forever for us - but it is a long time or duration.. Consider Life sentences in the USA....it is in most cases at a minimum it means 25 yrs before you are eligible for parole Who can serve 3 life senetences???....what it actually means in most cases is that you wont be eligible for parole until 75yrs Yes....the 7 yrs is for Israelites and the 50yrs is for both Israelites and non-israelites - it is often shorter than 50 yrs. but I would contend that the 7yrs is also for non-israelites as well if they choose to avail themselves of it In any case....just escape or run away and the whole society is compelled by law to aid and abet you They Jubilee applies to any and everyone who lives in the Lands of Israel or fall under their Government.
  21. In America and most countries It is only a crime if you get caught and even then you can be found not guilty if you have money and connections
  22. I have seen Rainbows.....so yes they can be shown .. Rainbows are not tangible....just like colors
  23. True "Black people in America were being enslaved for life, while the protections of whiteness were formalized." https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2019/08/19/magazine/history-slavery-smithsonian.html Words and their meaning change....in this case it is the name of a hair style. Names do not reflect definition.....cars called Toyota Corrola are not fertile rice patty or parts of plants petals and sex organs They were not enslaving anybody....in the sense of how we understand slavery - in particular European enslavement of Africans They were providing an opportunity.... Provisions in law are made for them to be released every 7 or 50 yrs Just as how people from all over the world seeks to be permanent residents and desire work visa in the USA. Generation after generation just means that after you die they can remain in country and work for some one else or a member of your family. The choice is theirs Same thing.... Some POWs and Prisoners are for life in the USA All slaves are release every 50 yrs(jubilee) They often ask for what you called enslavement....
  24. I have a visceral reaction and a mixed emotion...to that word It is believe to have one of three roots Negro as in Spanish the youngest root Necro as in Dead. NGR as in God...the oldest root It is interesting to note two countries and at least one river in Africa Pays Homage to it. It is not then Surprising that The resurgence of Pan-Africans is germinating in one such country....These Pan-Africans are challenging the Pan-Africanism of ECOWAS
