  1. “Most Black Republicans I know are intelligent....they aren't stupid. They just tend to be naïve and really believe in the "patriotism" and "values" lie so many Republicans claim to hold.” Well, as you said, most black republicans are very intelligent and well educated. They are not stupid nor are they the source of the sub cultural dysfunctional and chaos that is a virulent malignancy in segments of black America. Although I personally do not share many aspects of their politics -I think it is very misguided and erroneous to assume they are naive or gullible. They just see things differently. I do not agree with the idea that because someone has black skin they must conform to a particular rigid dogma for no other reason than having black skin. I dismiss this inane idea that black people must be monolithic in their ideology. For whites (and other non-blacks) - it’s perfectly acceptable to have diametric beliefs and opinions. Ann Coulter and Amy Goodman are both white females -but their ideology is 180 degrees opposite! Sean Hannity and Tim Wise are both white males -but their politics are completely polar! No one says anything about the radical differences in ideology and politics that exists between whites (or other non-blacks). I’ve never heard Tim Wise being called “self-hating” or Ann Coulter labeled a “sell out” by those who disagree with her. But with Negroes –it’s just the opposite! They are preemptively denied the latitude of diverse opinions and beliefs that others (races and ethnicities) enjoy. This is sad and indefensible…. Have an opinion or belief that differs or contradicts the so-called black group think orthodoxy? OMG! Standby for some serious personal attacks and racist name calling (e.g. white boot licking, house nigga, coon, sell out, uncle Tom, etc..).Again, I completely disagree with all of this reactionary nonsense. If you disagree with someone like Thomas Sowell, Ron Christie, Tim Scott or Larry Elders –fine! State why you disagree and why you believe their opinions are incorrect. But leave the adolescent Negro blood sport of race baiting and name calling out!
  2. “Thus, end of discussion.” Done! Please have safe and fun weekend......
  3. OMG!!! Stop it harry brown! You're killing me bro! I can't stop laughing! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha!
  4. “I was defending name-calling because I do it, very often using descriptive adjectives and phrases as opposed to a single "name". It's a part of my arsenal and, if need be, I include it in my rebuttals. It is also an handy tool when ridiculing your antagonist. Very often those who complain about name-calling do so in lieu of giving an intelligent retort. My philosophy continues to be if you can't stand the heat, get outta the damned kitchen.” Oh! I have no problems with that. If you are going to name call (yeah –not going to be a hypocrite because I do it also!) at least accompany your name calling with an argument or something of substance that clarifies or defends your opinions. As is said, it not the name calling –it’s only name calling and nothing else. But we all know that those who only name call do so because they lack the ability to present a compelling argument or rebuttal….
  5. "Seriously though, if you can get by the all caps, Harry often serves up some gems. Actually, I used to just ignore Harry's posts, but then one day one of the long terms posters here (Chris I think) complemented Harry on a poem he wrote. I'd completely missed the poetry. At that point I checked myself, because I allowed myself to miss something simply because I insist on reading text with line breaks and in mixed case." Well, all I can say bro Troy is that his all cap posts sound like disjointed rambling and out bursts that come from someone with Asperger's or Tourette's syndrome. Not trying to sound harsh but...well..that's what it sounds like (IMO). But I am a fair guy and you are a good man so I will...ya know...digress.....
  6. “In other words, no such statement BY ME exists and you're too petty to admit it.” Too petty to admit it? Huh? I have no idea what you are talking about. Perhaps you can reword your statement? “Well, I guess since you lack the intellectual ability to defend or clarify your statements,” Ha! Not hardly! I intelligently defended and clarified every statement I made sweetie. I responded in great detail…line…by… line… to your addled statements. I left no stones unturned addressing each and every one of your deficient comments. No? Then show me where I did not defend or respond in detail to every statement you made! I’ll wait…. No, my statement is VERY clear. You're foxed and can't admit it, so.... You out-foxed me and I can’t admit it? Ha! Ha! Ha! That’s funny! I don’t think so. When and where did this happen? Please give me an example where you allegedly –out-foxed me! Again –I’ll wait…. “"Race baiting???" What in the world are you nattering about?” Oh yes! I think so. It was you who stated: “Is every white child born out of wedlock "cannon fodder for future" suburban violence?” Duuhhhh??!! White people had nothing to do with the original conversation. The subject was about black people –not whites! Why would you drag them into the original discussion? You also said: “The highest incidence of out of wedlock babies are born to black fathers and white mothers, over 90%.” WTF??? Why are you bringing the offspring of BM and WW into a conversation that had nothing to do with interracial relationships? Whites and the children of BM/WW were not the topic focus nor mentioned anywhere in the original subject. THE INTITAL SUBJECT WAS THE FAILURE OF UNITY AMONG BLACK PEOPLE! So why did you drag biracial children and whites into the subject? Because in your indignant and butt hurt Negro race pride, you sought some kind of perverse race parity by dragging the pathology of relationships of BM/WW and white people into a discussion that nothing to do with either! GOT IT? “No one can do better than TRUTH. Try it sometime.” I just did! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha!
  7. "Whoa... hold on Xeon, you know I love your intellect, but if you gonna go at my man Harry, you gotta come through me first." Ha! Bro Troy, I'm just asking an honest question based on the content of the post.....
  8. Name-calling and articulating an intelligent argument are not mutually exclusive and all name-calling isn't profane or vile, As long as it is creative and accurate in the context of making a legitimate comparison it is not a sin. Many intellectual wits down through the ages have engaged in name-calling and their quotes are famous. This is true. I agree. However, when acerbic and emotional Negroes address many of the videos I have seen on Youtube, the posters who give honest and heartfelt opinions about bad behavior and dysfunction about the so-called black community, they are rewarded with tirade of vile names, profanity, personal attacks and race baiting. Now, to be honest, name calling doesn't really bother if it is accompanied with a reasonable rebuttal or an intelligent response. BUT ITS NOT! For example, calling someone "a boot licking coon...sell out nigga...self hating uncle tom...bitch azz nigga...weak azz punk...etc and that's it!" THAT IS THEIR RESPONSE! Never an intelligent critique of why the person is wrong or why they disagree. I have been bounced from a number of black forums because of my...um..unpopular opinions. But I never posted bogus information or statistics, used profanity nor vicious preemptive personal attacks. EVERYTHING I SAID WAS TRUE! In fact, when I requested for them to point out where I lied or posted false information, the response was, "It's not that you told a lie, That's not the point. I just don't like the way you said it". And I was told that more than once! So, if I am not lying but telling the truth -why all the bitterness and angst? If the "truth" makes someone apoplectic and bitter -what does that say about the individual? Go figure! I simply stated my opinion about a condition or situation. The majority of the times -there was never a civil nor intelligent counter-response. Just racist name calling and personal attacks. One time, a poster was so angry -he challenged me to a fight! He angrily told me what he would do to me if he ever met me! WTF?? Who does that?? Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha!
  9. "I wouldn't be surprised if "Dr" Jawanza Kunjufu's birth name is Leroy Jackson. Using his kinta cloth scarf as a prop, he's recognized a cash cow that pays off, and is milking it for all it's worth on the lecture circuit, and in the black book market. Like many well-meaning social critics, he has hit upon subject that provides black people with straws to grasp in the ongoing charade of....... ...... the DCFS ranks, growing up in abusive foster homes, developing personality disorders that result in their being misunderstood and over-medicated.End of rant." Brillant! I could not have articulated the truth any better. Your words are on point and resonate the hard truth Negroes are in denial of. E'nuff said.....
  10. “Meanwhile, pardon me Harriet Tubman, Frederick Douglass, Ida B. Wells,George Washington Carver, Hattie McDaniel , Paul Robeson, Martin Luther King , Julian Bond, Condoleeza Rice, Toni Morrison, Richard Wright, Jackie Robinson, Serena Williams, and alllll the rest! I’m just trying to squeeze past y’all so I can find a little seat in the back row.” THANK YOU! I'm trying to find a seat in the back rows also......
  11. “Distraction aside, waiting on your copy and paste of the quote you allege I made.” I did not allege anything. You made a statement and I simply commented about your statement. There is nothing to allege….. Oh! And distraction aside, everything I said about negativity and black self-hate "swimming" though your post.... stands. Well, I guess since you lack the intellectual ability to defend or clarify your statements, adolescent nefarious race baiting accusations will suffice. But guess it would be unfair of me to criticize you for doing the best you can. Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha!
  12. "BOOK CALLED COUNTERING THE PLAN TO DESTROY BLACK BOYS/THERE IS A PLAN TO DESTROY THE BLACK RACE, BY WHITE CHRISTIANS,SOME WHO SUPPORT DONALD TRUMP, KKK NEO NAZI SUPPORT TRUMP FOR PRESIDENT.. POOR SCHOOLS, PRISONS,/THE BLACK INVOLVEMENT,/CRACK HOUSES,PIMPS, MURDEROUS STREET GANGS, IRRESPONSIBLE BLACK FATHERS,BLACK WOMEN WHO WANT THEM/WHILE GESTAPO HITLER WHITE POLICE MURDER BLACK MALES/....... " Uhhhh....is someone not taking their meds? Just curious.....
  13. Kunjufu wrote the book, "The Conspiracy to Destroy Black Boys". How ironic! No one is more of a threat nor destroys more black males than Negroes. I've never understood such hypocritical thinking and posturing in the face of irrefutable facts that are documented every single day. This is not to say racism does not exist or that black people do not catch the brunt of injustice in our so-called justice system. But the daily national body bag count and the sheer abuse of black males by a dysfunctional chaotic Negro culture contradicts the premise of his book.....
  14. Very nice post bro Troy! I appreciate it. So often, morally conscious whites (and non-blacks) are lumped into the category of being racist. No room for individual thinking or belief. Negroes rail against whites for making sweeping generalizations about them yet they will not and do not hesitate for one second -to do it to other groups. It's sad and unacceptable. Anyhoo, big shout out to Mr. Michael D'Antuono for his outstanding socially conscious art work. He deserves much credit and respect for what he has chosen to do. I have always admired artists who use their talents to articulate hot issues and take on political/social injustices.
  15. The man is free to make the choice he feels is best. You and I may disagree with the candidates he prefers but it is his right to pick who he believes represents his beliefs. I never understood this monolithic rigid black group think. It's as if Negroes have consciously confined themselves to a "Black Borg". I just read something a black woman posted on Youtube in response to a video. She asked the question, "Why is that black people restrict themselves to vicious adolescent name calling and personal attacks when someone posts a video disagree with? Instead of debating the issue, they resort to caustic name calling -never a cogent response or debate". She is right. I see this kind of behavior all the time. The issue or message of the poster is not addressed -only name calling. The reason is simple -they lack the intellectual and linguistical skills to articulate a compelling argument. So, the do what they do best -descend to emotional histrionics and ranting. E'nuff said.....
  16. "And what I said about the black self-hate and negativity swimming through your post stands." Stop it! You're killing me! Ha! Ha! Ha! It amazes me when intransigent race pride Negroes (like you) are butt hurt because someone eviscerates their arguments. Instead of addressing the issues of disagreement, they resort to personal attacks and their the number one adolescent accusation -You hate yourself!!! WTF??!! Seriously, where does that come from? In all fairness -is that the best you can do??? It makes no sense! If I said, "Ya know, the Raiders suck! They have not had a winning season in over ten years!" The response: "What? Well...sounds like self-hate to me!" Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha!
  17. "I decided since I celebrate Black History every day that I'd ditch the 29 days of Black history month, and just do what I do can call it 366 days of celebrating Black history (or literature in this case). Today I'm celebrate...." Brilliant idea! I agree 100%. Now, if we could only get the rest of the American Negroes to do the same. I do not relegate our history to one month a year although I understand and appreciate the spirit of the original idea (the concept started with Mr. Carter G. Woodson in 1926). As you stated -it should be an everyday thing. Celebrating the sacrifices, achievements, struggles and the individual and collective tenacity of generations of black Americans who made our lives better than theirs, should be a daily observance (IMO).
  18. “I never said the bolded so who are you talking to?” You! You posted the statements and I was commenting about them….. “Why do you write foolish things that have NOTHING to do with what I wrote?” Not foolish my dear. I was simply giving undeniable facts about your statements… “I made a statement - 92% of biracial children are illegitimate - in response to your saying: Every child born as the result of a Baby Daddy/Baby Mama hook up is just cannon fodder for future inner city violence." No. I never made that statement. Go back and check. Although the statement rings of truth…. “As for the rest, sorry, but I can only deal with so much black self-hate in one sitting.” Self hate??? Really? Ha! Ha! Ha! That’s funny. Why would I “hate myself” because of the self destructive and bad behavior of Negroes I don’t even know. That makes absolutely no sense…. “ Plenty of folk on this forum that wallow in it as gleefully as yourself.” Well, to be honest my friend, I can’t speak to that because I don’t know anything about “the plenty of folk on this forum that wallow in it.” I have no idea what that means or what they have said. Perhaps you can provide details. I can only tell you everything I said was true. Now, if the truth offends you…well…I don’t know what to tell you! Would lies and fabrications make you feel better about yourself?
  19. “Is every white child born out of wedlock "cannon fodder for future" suburban violence?” Could be. Is there data to support the contention that the overwhelming percentage of crime in white suburbs is the result of white illegitimacy? But what evidence do you have to support the notion that violence in suburban zip codes is the direct result of whites born out of wedlock? “The highest incidence of out of wedlock babies are born to black fathers and white mothers, over 90%.” Oh really? And exactly how does this impact the staggering crime and violence in black America? First, the number of children born between BM and WM (married or not) is fractional. Second, if you exam the racial background of both perpetrators and victims of black crime -you would see the overwhelming number have two black parents! “ Are any of the kids in the news being murdered by cop have light-skin and/or curly hair?” Doesn’t appear that way. AND WHY WOULD IT? As I stated before, the overwhelming number of “perpetrators” and “victims” of black fratricide are individuals who have two black parents –not one white and one black! And what supporting research or evidence do you have that cops consciously avoid conflict or shootings of mixed kids with “light-skin and/or curly hair”???? “If not, what does that tell YOU?” Oh! That’s easy. It tells me the vast majority of individuals committing the crimes and their victims have two black parents! It’s not rocket science ya know. E’nuff said….. “Most drug users, percentage-wise as well as numerically, are white suburbanites.” How would someone collect such accurate data since most people who use drugs are never caught nor arrested? However, I will concede white Americans probably have ( more than black Americans) used more kinds of illegal drugs, including cocaine, marijuana and LSD. Just look at the current epidemic use of heroin in white communities. Yet blacks are far more likely to go to prison for drug offenses. And there are various reasons for this that are not race related. I will also concede that our current drug laws are stupid, counterproductive and have created the greatest incarceration rates in the history of what is called the civilized world. “Alcoholism as well as drug addiction are societal problems, i.e., American, not "just" Black American.” Uhhhhh…..I don’t recall saying that it was. Where did I state alcoholism and drug addiction was restricted to “only black people”? “Don't get me wrong, Xeon. I am a strong proponent of personal responsibility AND self-restraint.” Ok….. However, most societal problems blamed on black people, if you do the research, you'll find in the white community, as well.”“ Your statement is true. Whites experience many of the social ills that blacks do. However, there is a caveat. The difference is this: White communities are not under the siege of toxic gangs, senseless street violence and staggering homicides as Negro communities. Don’t think so? Do your own research. Look up the top ten cities with the highest rates for crimes and homicides. What racial group is suffering the most casualties? And give me the name of one predominately white city that has crime rates equal (or exceeds) to the drug related or wanton murders and crime in Oakland, Baltimore, St Louis, Camden, Chicago, Milwaukee or Detroit. Again, yes, whites suffer from crime and drug abuse. But their communities do not resemble Syria or Iraq as Negro communities! Big difference….
  20. "Miles Davis was a brilliant musician with a interpersonal issues. I Don't confuse the artist with the art" Good point. Neither do I. The two are separate things. While I do not condone men who physically abuse women, I have no problems separating their genius from their behavior. Frank Lloyd Wright was a brilliant and innovative architect but his personal behavior was atrocious. Anyone who knows anything about the brilliant artist Diego Rivera knows that he was a notorious womanizer that tormented the soul of Freda Kahlo. Ike Turner was a very creative and original artist but his abuse of Tina Turner is legendary. A man who starts out in life in his twenties, believing he can physically beat on men as he does women and one day collect social security and medicare is surely mistaken. That is why they pick on women because the life expectancy of beating men is a short one. But women and children are easy prey for their obnoxious and cowardly behavior. Miles had a long standing history of abusing women. But there is a caveat that is rarely discussed. The women who indulged and had relationships with Miles knew of his explosive temperament. It was no secret! Yet they decided to do so. There is something to be said about women who choose to be with abusive men..... And here is a somewhat irrelevant sidebar: Years ago -I met a woman at an art exhibit who looked exactly like Miles! She had the same complexion, facial structure, eyes and facial features. It was stunning! I told her so and she just laughed. She said she knew this and in fact -when she was very young, she lived in the same residence as he did in NYC. She told me he was very kind to her, often inviting her over for dinner that he cooked. She also said she used to tell people she was his sister. Trust me -you would have believed her! And yes, she also told me she knew of his abusive reputation with women. But she personally never experienced any of it. Miles’s music was in constant flux! His music was constantly evolving and changing whether one agreed with it or not. His musical transitions were very apparent if you compare his various groups from the “early to later 50's”, his “late 50's (1959 was the year of his quintessential masterpiece -"Kind of Blue") to early 60's”, the “middle and late sixties group” (love that period included Wayne Shorter, Herbie Hancock, Ron Carter and Tony Williams) and a revolving door of super star musicians ( Jack DeJohnette, Keith Jarrett, Chic Corea, John McLaughlin, Joe Zawinul, Benny Maupin, et al) in the late 60’s. The transition from acoustic playing to electronic began with "Miles in the Sky", “Fillies de Kilimanjaro” , “In a Silent Way” and then the masterpiece that changed the course of what we know as modern jazz in 1970 -"Bitches Brew". It took me a few years to reach “Bitches Brew” but when it clicked -it was on! I remember that entire experience very vividly. After digesting "Bitches Brew", I slid into an insatiable addiction to hard core improvised “free jazz” (Ornette Coleman, Albert Ayler, Anthony Braxton, Andrew Hill, AEC, Cecil Taylor, John Coltrane’s Impulse recordings, Archie Shepp, Marion Brown, et al...). Took a couple of years to balance my one sided indulgence to include traditional music (e.g. Bill Evans, Dexter Gordon, John Coltrane's Prestige and Atlantic recordings, Sonny Rollins, Duke Ellington, Booker Ervin, et al). And the irony is that I started out with straight ahead traditional music ! Then I slid into an uncompromising consumption of hard cord improvised music. Met a friend from Pittsburgh (I learned a lot from him about music) who helped me balance my fixation to include both traditional music and the hard core stuff. I’ll never forget that! Ha! Anyhoo, enough of that... Miles’s music continued to change and it became purely electronic and almost chaotic (“Live Evil”, “Big Fun”, “On the Corner” and “Get Up with It”) at the beginning of the 1970’s. Then Miles took a hiatus from playing until he came out of retirement in 1981 and recorded, “The Man with the Horn” . After that, his music descended into irrefutable rank commercialism. That's when the unrelenting criticism reached its apex. Miles was reaching a wider and younger audience with his electronic-rock-funk-pop performances while alienating those who grew up and embellished his superbly crafted traditional compositions and acoustical playing. But regardless, Miles was undaunted and could care less what anyone thought of the direction he was headed in. His perpetual choice of musical transmutations and playing had nothing to do with “selling out” for monetary gain or fame. He had no personal interest in either. Miles was doing exactly what he wanted to do and was constantly searching for new musical realms. When asked about the standards and classics he used to play, he recoiled and said he had no interest in playing that genre again. He said, "When I listen to it now, it sounds like I'm playing under water...". Ha! Miles ahead...!!!!!!
  21. "Bottom line, black lives don't matter. Black lives are very expendable. Every child born as the result of a Baby Daddy/Baby Mama hook up is just cannon fodder for future inner city violence." This very true. It goes back to my comment about Negroes looking into a mirror for an answer to the cause and root of this on going uber violent-shocking out of wedlock birth rate black subculture. Only those who spawn these seeds of self destruction should be held accountable. And for the record, you can go to any major large city (e.g. St Louis, Little Rock, Detroit, Chicago, Oakland, Memphis, Birmingham, Atlanta, Baltimore, et al...) with a sizable Negro population and the social pathology and staggering wanton violent crime is the same! What does that tell you? If I decide to consume illegal drugs and drink excessive amounts of alcohol each day -who is responsible for my drug addiction and cirrhosis of the liver? At some point, the concept of what is called personal responsibility and self restraint should to play a role.....
  22. “I'm motivated to make all these observations because of what is happening in the typical urban environment of Chicago where not a week goes by when a young black person isn't senselessly murdered by other young ………..among those constantly being exposed for using taxpayers money to feather their nests and finance their lavish lifestyles while doing little to serve their constituencies. And, of course, the tension between cops and Blacks is an ongoing situation, pitting irrational, unarmed perpetrators against panic-stricken, trigger-happy cops. “ I know this is a very late response because it's been ages since I have posted here. But regardless, I had to comment about your heart felt and uncompromisingly honest commentary Ms. Cynique. Everything you said was true. You told no lies nor was there any nefarious blather about the sad self destructive Negro culture in Chicago. Your comments about the hubris, greed, fraud, duplicity and outright inexcusable race baiting by so-called Negro leaders and activists -was on point. You know what happened during those years of LBJ’s "The Great Society's" pouring of millions of tax payers’ dollars into the bottomless black holes of urban ghettos. The intent was to uplift, train, educate and steer maligned and rudderless Negroes into a better life. The so-called Negro leaders raided the coffers and freely filled their pockets with that money and the results were nil. The same blight, dysfunction, crime and cultural pathology has remained unchanged (when it comes to violent crime -worse!). I've found it laughable that bogus fringe hucksters like the "Black Lives Matters" mob, have found a home in this chaos. The only time you hear anything from these misguided charlatans is when a black victim is murdered by a “non-black” perpetrator (preferably white and a cop). The seemingly countless body bags that fill the morgues yearly in Chicago (and every other major urban city) are the direct result of black on black fratricide -not the police or whites. But this conversation is kryptonite to Negroes who recoil with hysteria, name calling and histrionics if this stark reality is discussed. How ironic.... “Closer to home, I am totally dismayed by the things that my 23-year-old grandson who is my "street" contact, tells me about the kind of demeaning behavior young black inner city girls are engaging in, aided and abetted by FaceBook. They all seem to be desperate, loved-starved "thots". And too many……… gang warfare perpetuates itself and this complicates things. I hate all those conservative black Republicans saying what their white counterparts want to hear, but I just wish black youngsters wouldn't make it so hard for me to defend them.” Again, not much to say here. Your words are once again factual and irrefutable…unless you are a card carrying member of the “Negroes in Denial Fraternity”. Tragically, we now have a generation that has elevated coonery, buffoonery and self destructive behavior to a science. Their obnoxious and toxic antics documents itself every day. THE FACTS ARE VERIFIABLE AND DEPRESSINGLY OBVIOUS! And I have neither the time nor desire to list nor debate the everyday ongoing self destructive consequences of their deportment. Yeah, I know you cringe when you hear what black republicans publically say. I hate it also. But as painful and embarrassing as it may be –they have told no lies. Their transgression is not fabrications or hyperbole but discussing such racially sensitive matters in front of whites. Sadly, the world is watching as Negroes continue to arrogantly and gleefully actualize every negative belief and stereotype about black people. This I do not understand. If Negroes want to confront and demonize the core cause of their pathology –they should find the closest mirror in their homes! E’nuff said….
  23. Well, Negroes put these images and behavior out there for the world to see. The behavior you mentioned is not a fractional minority nor is it representative of a limited geographical area. It's pandemic and widespread whereever you go! The OJ trail? Ha! it's in the history books along with all the hysteria, race baiting, denial, unprecedented media hype and mindless race pride theatrics. Move on...nothing to see here folks....
  24. Ya know, I watched the trailer and I was disappointed for the most obvious reasons. Being that I am a serious hard core follower and junkie of Miles Davis's music (pre-1970) all my adult life -I have never heard of any of the behavior I saw in the trailer. Yes, Miles had a mercurial temper and he had zero tolerance for those who annoyed him. But the trailer looks like something out of "Good Fellas" or "Black Mass". Miles was not a wildly violent drug dealer or gangster as he appears to be in this trailer. Don Cheadle is the obvious choice to play Miles just as Viola Davis was the obvious choice to play Nina Simone (vice Zoe Saldana which is beyond stupid and ridiculous). But from what I have seen in this trailer, I have never heard of such extreme gangsta style behavior by Miles. I'm not sure about this biopic's accuracy. Again, from what I saw it seems more about hyperbole and myth making than reality. Perhaps I need to see the film in its entirety....
  25. "It will be difficult without a historical culture. African Americans are the only hyphenated Americans without a country." That's not true. They do have country -it's called the United States. Black Americans have been involved in the defense, creation and development of this country since it's inception. Yes, I know there bitter Negroes who consider themselves something else other than citizens of this country. Such thinking is flawed, stupid and disrespectful for the millions of blacks who toiled, paid taxes, lost their lives in every single war and military interdiction. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise......
