Accused Charleston Church Shooter Assaulted in Jail
That is how I came upon this news story,
because I didn't watch much news yesterday.
I totally missed this.
I remember the day this shooting happened,
because my Husband and I went to a BBQ
restaurant that day and we had such a
wonderful day together, and when we got
home and settled down in front of the TV
for our nightly routine, we saw this awful,
awful, heartbreaking news.

As I mentioned above, instead of getting hung up on the percentage or number of people living below the poverty line, we should be able to agree that it's way too many people and discuss ways to solve the problem.
It's easy to sit on a stoop and say 27M black folks are sleeping in cars or tent citiies or shacking up with folks they can't stand because they're poor. The questions remain how do we create a cozy condition cuz that's our mission...oops, my bad. I had a Slick Rick moment.

The way that we help is by helping.
Find someone that you can help.
That's all you can do because you
can't help everybody.
But you can help somebody.
It doesn't have to be a lot of help.
Sometimes a person just needs a
little bit of help.
Do that, and it will help.
That's what I try to do and I would
recommend this to others.
If you can help more people that is
great, but just start by helping
SOME ONE.

Franklin - if you want to be great, why don't
you start by reading the forum rules about
posting A m a z o n links?
This is not a public service announcement
at all, this is an ad for a low-content book.
It's nothing but an empty notebook/journal
that isn't getting sales, because there are
thousands of them listed there, since this
is the latest money making scheme, so he
or she is posting about Black greatness on
this forum in order to generate sales.
You are lucky that Troy/Owner/Moderator

Mzuri as you might imagine I'm now resultant to check your sources, because they have not panned out this far. I can see that you posted a link to the Census Bureau, a valid source. I read the page. Based upon your statements you clearly do not trust the government on any level. Your interpretation based upon how you shared their information, on how they count people is reflected by this world view.
************************************************************************************
I'm not imagining anything about it since I
couldn't care less whether you look at the
link or not.
It makes me no difference.
You seem to think that my credibility is

My view about the federal government

Beyond the minutiae of who's being counted or not, whether its 38M or 50M or 100M people living below poverty, maybe we can agree that it's way too many people.
I agree with you but if the government is going to spend billions on
those census counts, those numbers should be more accurate.
Otherwise they should stop miscounting people, and instead use
that money to actually help people in need.
I also read that their poverty threshold was developed in the 1960s.
It's even worse than we thought, the article I linked below says
that half of all American workers made less than $35K.
And that was before the COVID lockdowns, shutdowns, and
vax mandates that had people quitting their jobs.

Is Mzuri point accurate?
If that is true then the numbers would be little better than a guess, so I doubt the number are collected in such a rudimentary fashion and certainly would not be expressed to the 10th of a percent accuracy. I suspect the numbers were taken from census data and a variety of other sources like income from tax returns.
1 hour ago, Mzuri said:they count people who show up for a meal somewhere, and then they try to count the people who live in tent cities and such.
Is my point accurate regarding the homeless?
That is what's stated on the Census Bureau document entitled,
"How the 2020 Census Counts People Experiencing Homelessness"
Which I posted a link to.
On top of that, the Census takers only devote 3 days to the effort of counting
the homeless, so I doubt they are getting accurate numbers.
Besides not wanting the citizens to know, the U.S. government probably doesn't
want other nations to know how abysmal things are here, and how mismanaged
and clusterfucked the government really is.

Again one reference would have sufficed (simply because I'm not going to check them all).
Again taking the first one on your list. It is an article, that I'm sure you did not read, because it does not answer the question. I just checked the subject of the article about Regions Banks and their domain does not expire until 2024: https://www.whois.com/whois/regions.com It is not clear why you shared that link.
You are are not taking this seriously. I just watched an interesting video which helps me understand why getting people to think differently is extremely difficult. I have shared the video here.
The Regions Bank domain expiration happened in the past.
In 2019.
Obviously, after their registration expired they are going
to renew it for a couple of years at a time. But them being
registered until 2024 proves my point not all corporations
register their domains for the maximum 10 year period.
(I believe the max is 10 years, it was last time I checked
my registrar. I am a domainer holding 500+ domains.)
I shared the link because I stated:
"Lots of companies renew their domains from year to year.
Some have a fulltime person on staff who manages all of
that, and you still hear about major corporations' domains
expiring"
And you said that was bullshit.
Regions, MicroSoft, Dallas Cowboys, etc. are all major
corporations who let their domains expire.
There are others, this is a common occurrence.
Were you asking me to find you corporate domains
that are currently expired? Because that's not what
I implied.
I don't know what's going on with your snarky
attitude, but you should really chill out.

I've seen far more homeless Black people today than 30 years ago.
************************************************************************************
The Census Bureau doesn't even have an accurate method
of counting the homeless, they count people who show up
for a meal somewhere, and then they try to count the people
who live in tent cities and such.
https://www.census.gov/content/dam/Census/library/factsheets/2020/dec/census-counts-homeless.pdf
Clearly they are missing all the people that are sleeping in
their cars and wherever. Then there's all the homeless
people who have jobs, who counts them.
I believe that the government fudges the numbers on
those types of statistics so that things don't seem so
bleak to the rest of us.
As to those living in poverty, you can't just go by income
because you have people making a good salary but for
whatever reason they are still broke and living like they
are poor.
I don't trust most of these government statistics. At all.

Sorry to disappoint anybody who thought I might be somewhere pouting, or sulking. I'm getting ready to respond to some of the posts directed at me. Be advised there will be no apologies given or accepted.
WOW! Talk about a hissy fit - from somebody who accuses me of having a thing for pioneer, you sound like somebody who is using pioneer to make Troy jealous. How ya like me casting you in a scenario that you will surely claim is false . Pay back is a bitch.

was doing anyone a favor, you were mistaking. All you
were doing is seeking attention and stirring up mess.
There was no insult fest since I hardly insulted you.
You take everything too serious and make mountains
out of molehills.
Forum decorum is that when you decide to leave, you
just leave. Most forums don't permit posts from people
posting their long drawn out good-byes.
If there are more interesting topics than me and
@Pioneer1 then go discuss those. There are tons
of current topics that you could have posted about.
Stating we aren't interesting is counter-productive.
Nobody thinks you are pouting or sulking, just crying all
over your poor cat, who is probably sick of your drama.
Hopefully you are feeding it gourmet cat food to make
up for it, not those dried up kibbles that come in a bag.
That wasn't a hissy fit at all and I never accused you of
having a thing for Pioneer, although you did inquire as
to his whereabouts yesterday, so what was that about?
You do know that everybody can't just post on forums
all day, right?
You are deluded to state that I am using Pioneer to make
@Troy jealous. That is absurd. As far as they know I
am a married woman. I am curious to know what sort of
a fuzzy brain would even think of that scenario going on,
on a discussion forum where we hardly know each other.
Give me a break.
Get some smelling salts and stop inhaling all that cat hair,
you have the worst case of brain fog that I've ever seen.

that we need more brick-n-mortar businesses and less web-based businesses.
These days, a serious business owner needs a combination
of both.
A hybrid, because people are searching and researching
things online before they make their actual purchases.
The last time we bought a house, we researched online
for a couple of months before we agreed on the house
we wanted to buy. And then we came to see it in person
and purchased it.
If it hadn't been listed online, we probably wouldn't have
found this house.
That's just an example but more people are making their
buying decisions based on what is online.
Restaurants need an online presence because people
want to see what's on the menu before they go in
person. Especially now during pandemic. And most
need some type of online ordering system, to schedule
deliveries, accept payments, etc.
All those types of businesses require an online presence.

Here are a few reasons the site is questionable to me -- even before I've read the article.
Domain Name Characteristics
The domain (https://www.whois.com/whois/royalhealthpilot.com) is expires in less than a year and is created in 2018. Reputable sites are typically much older and their domains do not expire in a year. Consider AALBC as an counter example: https://www.whois.com/whois/aalbc.com
Next the site gets FAR less traffic than this discussion forum (see graphic below). The site doesn't even have an Alexa ranking.
Unfortunately, I am not able to read all of your posts from
beginning to end, nor do I read most of the other posters.
And honestly, your writing is difficult to read.
I typically speed read/scan because I'm working on other
projects and come on here during breaks but I am certain
that you stated you did not have a whole lot of time to spare.
But you think that people are going to do a WHOIS, Archive
search, SpyFu, Google Keyword Analytics, Alexa ranking,
ect, ect, ect. every friggen time they visit a website?
Lots of companies renew their domains from year to year.
Some have a fulltime person on staff who manages all of
that, and you still hear about major corporations' domains
expiring, because they don't register their domains for 10
years at a time, for whatever reason. Different people run
their businesses differently.
So with all due respect - You sound ridiculous.
And again, in case you missed it. I wasn't referring to
the COVID vaccine when I posted the info about
the Chinese DNA/genetic biowarfare development.
Those are two separate topics.
