  1. Mzuri, appreciate the feedback. I also had heard that after Aunt Jemima was canceled, the nephew of the woman originated the role was quite upset.

  4. In today's super woke - hyper cancel culture - post-George Floyd era, blacks have suddenly and disproportionately been cast / inserted into nearly every facet of big and small screen entertainment, advertising, marketing and the like. 5. Sadly, NYC has been headed down this road since the late 1970s, at a minimum. Wanton and unchecked corruption has plagued the city since its official naming in 1674. No matter what your political persuasion, NYC is headed into some rough waters for many years to come.

  7. The analogy I made was to simplify the rationale that virtually anyone could apply to a sane citizenship enforcement effort; which is what we currently lack. The misdirected contextual call-outs and references in your (entire) response (and not just the quoted phrase) remind me of a circular firing squad; a bit nonsensical, for me. Suggest a read of the U.S. Constitution first; take your time. Lesson here, don't debate with the irrational. I'll leave it at that.
  8. Do you know how you sound?
  9. Latinos don't seem to carry the race-card baggage that so many black people do. However, they do tend to ignore the risks and follow the herd.
  10. Sovereignty must always rule. A Simple Analogy: Your personal home is your sovereign kingdom. Would you allow anyone off the street to simply walk into your home, grab a bite to eat, displace you from your easy lounger, kick you out of your bed, shower in your bathroom, take your wallet, and walk right out the door unchallenged? Think again. Eric Adams kowtow's to the ideology of The Left. New York is headed into political, financial and social oblivion for at least the next two generations. All of those deceptive liberal whites and ignorant low-information blacks who keep voting for the same slate of dog crap over and over again, are going to continue to get exactly what they deserve - and that is, sheer 'misery' on steroids.
  11. Common sense. Sovereignty 'rules the day'. Try voting in Mexico if you're not a citizen there and see how fast they haul you off to jail.
  12. Yes and IMO, it could also be paired with the social designation of being 'black'. Perhaps being 'black' is simply a construct of the mind, as well.
  13. Let's qualify that - facts are indeed what happens at any given point in time. The distinction lies in whether or not those facts are 'made up' or 'real'.
  14. Yes, it's unfortunate that such a large swath of black America is still glued to Al Sharpton & Co. at the hip.
  15. Best description I've head in a long time. Also, in this opinion, directly through his brand, Tyler Perry has become nothing more than THE master creator and purveyor of horribly condescending buffoonery that denigrates the very soul and integrity of black America. IMO, the bad part is that people actually think that what Tyler Perry creates is beneficial to their personal condition, and it is not. Sans normal differences in perspectives, you have made some very good points, indeed.
  16. I could care less if it's (in anyone's words) a 'multivider' or not. Absolutely no one is entitled to usurp the rights and sovereignty of any nation. In this regard, you might as well blow up the bridges because voting by non-U.S. residents of any kind is a non-starter.
  17. LOL! It's already been proven that *N95 masks 'Do Not Work'. Full 3M respirators (and others like them) do (e.g., https://www.3m.com/3M/en_US/respiratory-protection-us/support/center-for-respiratory-protection/respirator-selection/).
  18. And yes, that's why people are entitled to their own opinions, but they are not entitled to make up their own set of facts. In my view, Paula will always be biracial. I see a lot of whining in this fragment. A smart person would stop complaining about what they perceive as racial inequities and instead, do something to improve their potential success. As I've said and implied many times before, black America needs to stop blaming the rest of the world because they themselves were born black.

  20. Remember, white folks don't occupy themselves with being white, but they do spend a lot of time staying white. I do not fault them for not having any control over who they are; instead, the issue is how they behave, which may be directly applicable to how the rest of us behave, as well.
  21. As a side note, having personally lived with (real) pure sub-Saharan black Africans before, they view the somewhat absconded term "African American" as pure nonsense. IMO, that's one of the problems of identity-driven societies. Paula Patton is biracial, any way you cut it; she's neither black or white - she's a combination thereof. Very good point. Being black, white, etc. goes well beyond and much deeper than the physical characteristics that anyone possesses.
