  1. Perhaps the REAL question should be......

Why is there a need to KNOW the identity of everyone who is using the internet?

......unless you belong to some secretive organization and are building a profile of the users and what they think.

Much of the spying that is taking place today is a violation of privacy beyond the wildest dreams of the so-called "founders" of America who are claimed by some as the champions of liberty and basic personal rights.

Some people are going to jail simply because of what they said or posted on Facebook.

I think what Roseanne said about that sexy ass Valerie Jarret was not only inappropriate but down right appauling.
But the idea that an employer can discipline you or even fire you because of what you said on Twitter or Facebook is even MORE appauling in my opinion.

And the worse part of all of this is young people are being conditioned to voluntarily give up their privacy and personal information in the name of being "transparent" without the slightest understanding that all of this information they're sharing with the world just might be used to harm or manipulate them socially, financially, or even legally.

You'd be a fool...or just Krazy as hell..lol....NOT to conceal atleast some of your personal information when navigating online today.

I love your story of your ancestors.

I wish I knew my ancestral lineage as well.
    Perhaps one day I will.

Back in Africa, most nations had "griots" who were able to recall their ancestral lineage back for dozens if not HUNDREDS of generations.

Now you end up going to "ancestry.com" and hope they get it right....lol

I think it is indeed possible for you to be be both White (or African, or Asian)  AND a Jew at the same time because "Jewish" is both a religion and an ethnicity.

A person could be a Jew because they come from a mother who was Jewish and practiced a the Jewish culture  while at the same time not practicing Judaism as a religion and even be atheist.

But now when we start talking about ISRAELITES and HEBREWS....that's a different story.

These are actual biological lineages that depend more on ancestry than culture.

Oh come on now Krazy Klarence....I mean Krazy Alexander....

Do you REALLY expect us to believe that????

How can you call your contact with Whites "infrequent" when they feed you and give you your medication several times a day?

BTW, I thought you said there was NO SUCH THING as race.....so who are these mysterious "White folk" that you speak of....lol.

    Chevdove & Tsegal

It's great to know and understand scripture but I think it's dangerous for Black people to put too much faith in "end times" and the "end of the world".
...especially when we expect it to be THE answer to all of our problems.

It pacifies too many of us and prevents us from actually DOING THE WORK that need to do to make this planet a better place for ourselves.

That's one of the main problem I have with most of these organized religions an their protocols.
They keep you waiting and waiting and waiting on something OUTSIDE of yourself to change your environment.

Our people have a "laziness" problem where all they need is an excuse to sit down and DO NOTHING.
Waiting on "the lord" to take care of it all provides a convenient excuse for that.

Most of them were waiting on Jesus to come back during slavery to put an end to it but generation after generation was born, enslaved, tortured and died until a CIVIL WAR where hundreds of thousands of people were killed and maimed finally brought "official slavery" to an end.

We must always put our faith in the SUPREME BEING.
However we don't know the Plans of The SUPREME BEING, so it's often best not to guess at them and begin to roll up our sleeves and get busy doing what the Chinese, Indians, and other groups are doing which is WORKING.

China and North Korea and India ain't waiting on Jesus to come back or pointing their finger at Europe telling them that "karma" or the devil is going to pay them back for what they did.
They are building factories and sky scrapers and mapping out the future for their children and future generations so that they will no longer be in a vulnerable position to be mistreated.

I see. So, do you think it is possible a 'trace' through the Southeast Asia desert could unearth patterns and language of Black folk?

    The original Chinese were BLACK.

All through out South East Asia and into the Phillipines and even up in Japan and Korea if you go into the rural forest areas small Black people called by different names STILL exist in large numbers.

Image result for black tribes of southeast asia

Just like these small Black people were the original inhabitants of Europe, they were the original inhabitants of THAT land as well.

Yes, I'm starting to get, really, good at it. I almost know all the right buttons to push.

All the right "buttons to push" huh???
As I said before, the definition of a troll is one who likes antagonizing people and causing trouble.....lol.

    Mel

I also agree with Cynique - WHEN did we become two or maybe more distinct groups of blacks? Also, how and why did we change physically.

Well I know there's atleast THREE distinct groups of what we would call "Black" people on this planet.

One group is the African type who TYPICALLY (but not always) have dark skin, kinky hair, thick lips, and broad noses.
Obviously you have the San people of southern Africa with their light brown skin and the Amharic and Somali peoples of eastern Africa with their wavy and straight hair and thin lips/noses.....but the vast majority of NATIVE Africans are the Blacks I described above.

    Related image

But then you also have the Blacks of Asia.
Herodotus when writing his Histories called them the "Ethiopians of Asia" and claimed that they were so Black that even their semen was black....lol.

But these were the Dravidians of Southern India. Most of whom are dark skinned, with straight hair and mostly thin lips/noses.

    Image result for dravidians

Then you have the Polynesians and Aboriginees of Australia who are an entirely different group all together in my opinion and they were the ones populating much of Southeast Asia and the Japanese island as well as Australia, Indonesia, ect..

I don't have solid proof of it but I believe that either:

    1. The African and Polynesian/Australian Blacks CAME FROM the Indian Blacks or
    2. All Black races shared a common ancestral lineage that resided in the Middle East before they branched off into different directions.

Perhaps there different features are owed to different "families" who may have migrated in different directions and keep reproducing within the same genetic stock.

The antiquity of the Tuareg Women indicates they were a matrilineal tribe ( it may indicate some were the original Hebrews.) The men followed the women. Anthropologist report women and men lived separately - even after marriage. Surprisingly,  Today, some reports indicate their lifestyle hasn't changed. Also the Berbers were nomads then and today so if some converted to Islam it would make sense how it would spread.

Oh you're breaking it DOWN  today huh....lol.

Not only the Taureg but Ive also heard the Ibo (or Igbo) people of Nigeria were related to the original Hebrews who came out of Egypt/Kemet as well.

We KNOW the Dogon of Mali are ancient Egyptians and received much of their science while still there.

But speaking of the Taureg and matriarchies.......

The myth of the Amazon women actually came from a NORTH AFRICAN people called the "Amazigh" people who still exist today.
The Greeks called them "berbers" which meant barbarian but they call themselves "Amazigh" and practice a very matriarchal type culture where the women were warriors.
Herodotus I believe again speaks of the women of the Amazigh cutting off one of their breasts at young ages so that they could be better fighters with the bow and arrow.

I forgot to tell you that you're absolutely right,  it's  best to travel and see things for YOURSELF instead of simply taking people's words for it or reading it in a book. That way you get the entire experience and use all of your senses in determining the facts.

That point you made is one of the reasons I separate KNOWLEDGE from mere BELIEF and put statistics and data in the "belief" catagory until I've had a chance to verify them.

Perhaps you're right that "Moor" was a generic name that White Europeans gave ALL Blacks they came in contact with whether it was the Blacks who were native to their lands in the past or the Blacks who came from North Africa later......and the North Africans just accepted that name for themselves.

Despite the actual name, I think we can both agree that there were 2 separate groups of Black people that we're talking about.

1.The "native" Blacks who occupied the British Isles and much of northern Europe before the Tuetonic tribes out of central Asia invaded their lands and drove them underground.

    2. And the African Blacks (along with the Arabs and Berbers) who came later on under the banner of Islam to conquer the contemporary White civilization that was (and still is) established there at the time.

When the Pharisees drilled Jesus and asked him who

would be the wife of Abraham, Jesus responded and revealed this very aspect of the pre-Adamah world, in that 'angels' were INTERSEXED BEINGS.

What do you think of the belief that the "pre-adamic" world was actually the world before Caucasians existed?

There are theories that the Pre-Adamites were actually people of color.

  11. The problem with the theory of evolution and claiming that human beings started off in Africa and as they evolved they left and migrated to different parts of the planet is the implication that Africans are LESS evolved than other groups.
It puts others as more evolved implying that they are "better improved" than the primatives they came from.

If it were a "theory of mutation" it would be more palatable to me because it suggests that the African is the penacle of humanity and those who came from them degenerated.  Ofcourse this isn't what's being taught.

Although I can't prove it, I personally believe that humanity didn't come OUT of Africa but a certain portion actually migrated TO Africa from a part of Asia.

If you look at the oral history of most of the Bantu nations and what they say about themselves, whether they are found in West Africa or South Africa....most claim they came from the direction of Egypt and Ethiopia before migrating to their present lands.

    Chevdove

You and Cynique are discussing the strong vs the weak and the righteous vs evil, however......

If you look at many ancient societies, their entire concept of morality was totally different.

    They saw WEAKNESS as evil.
Things like strength and courage (as in battle) was considered GOOD.

Perhaps where African people have been failing is in taking on Caucasian ideas of morality (which they don't even practice themselves) and accepting a dogmatic "scripture based" moral code that focuses on ritualistic behavior and written rules......and instead go back to a more nature based moral code that focuses on self preservation, procreation, and respect for  our ancestors.

Then there would be the time period of which scientist date the Neanderthals and prior to the presence of a time when 'beings' were referred to as such, scientist dates many, many, more beings to have been on earth much earlier prior to the Neanderthals, and if you visit the Smithsonian, you will see that they are all either Black or very dark skinned and the dates to which it is said they existed was millions of years before the Neaderthals even.

This is where the stories of "elves" "leprachauns" and "smurfs" and "fairies" come from.

This is all mythology that hides the truth of the little Brown/Black people who inhabited Europe for millenia before the Caucasians came.

    Mel

    Perhaps it's the wording.

I acknowledge that Black people lived in what is now called the United Kingdom (and other parts of Europe) for thousands of years before Caucasians arrived.  Again, they were later referred to as "elves" and "trolls" and written as mythology.

But to call them "Moors" is a problem for me because it's my understanding that Moors were a SPECIFIC group of people from North Africa and not just a generic name for any and all Black peoples.

  12. I like the pro-business aspect of the Repubican Party.
I also support less "government restriction" and less regulation that they claim to promote.

The problem is despite what the common Republican citizen who vote for them may believe, it's obvious that the rank and file Republican LEADERSHIP have a much different agenda than what they claim.
As soon as they get in positions of power they start passing laws and enacting executive orders that benefit the rich and stripping the poor of their rights and social services.

Many immigrants of color who come from more socially conservitive societies in Africa and Asia are attracted to the "morals" and "family values" rhetoric of the Republican party and are tricked into voting for them because of this rhetoric.

Republicans are clearly the party of the wealthy White male, but they GET in power by tricking other demographics like conservative AfroAmericans, religious women, and wealthy Jews and Muslims into voting for them based on their rhetoric.

The Bible is a very interesting book.

Lately I've been reading not only various translations but the TRANSLITERATION of it in Hebrew which gives you an entirely different understanding than reading the plain English translations.

They claim that the first 5 books of it or the Pentatauch came from Moses.
The problem is not only is the end of Moses' life recorded in those books (strange for a person to do that for himself) but the actions of the Israelites AFTERWARDS are also recorded after his life (even stranger and more remarkable).

I believe the TRUE Torah is in the Ark of the Covenant which I believe is still in Ethiopia being protected by the Beta Israel elders.

From what I've read, John "The Revelator" wrote that book as a response to the persecution that the early Christians were receiving from Rome and the emperor Nero.

He condemned Rome as the "Mystery Babylon" and predicted it to fall.
But since then, every generation has read THEMSELVES into the Book of Revelations and assumed that there time was the actual time of the end.

But as we know the Earth is still here and keeps turning.....

I don't have a lot of confidence is so-called "scriptures" that were put together by human beings as being divine.
I believe it may contain a lot of knowledge and wisdom, but I have serious doubts that much of it came from The Supreme Being.

I believe I mentioned it before, if one is truly interested in understanding creation from a divine viewpoint, familiarity with ALL THREE BOOKS is necessary.

Humanity is MILLIONS of years old.

Those books you mentioned are no more than 6,000 year old.

How did human beings manage to "understand creation from a divine viewpoint" for the millions of years we existed BEFORE those books came on the scene?

If you say the homosexual population has almost tripled in a generation (btw, where did you get those percentages), why do YOU think this has happened?

I don't believe that is the case......I don't know one way or the other.

I meant that as a HYPOTHETICAL example of how we would track the rise or decline of various sexual orientations.

The first step is to make sure we live in a society where people are safe and comfortable being straight, gay, or both.
If not, people tend to get confused, lie to themselves (except for K2....lol), hide their sexuality, ect....out of fear or guilt.

Once people are comfortable being heterosexual, homosexual, or bisexual then just like we chart the demographics on race, sex, religion, ect.....we can begin to chart the demographics of sexual orientation trusting that people will give honest answers.

YES! I was just reading a story about the Moors in Britain and ultimately this was the outcome. According to the story, the Germans conquered the dark-skinned British {Moors) and took their land. It is what it is. The Germans conquered the "Blackamoors" and we have who we have Queen Elizabeth II - German in the house of Windsor.

The Blacks that lived in England before the Germanic tribes (Angles and Saxons) invaded and conquered them are not the same as the Moors.

The original Blacks of England (and Ireland, Scotland, and Wales) were there thousands of years B.C. and practiced a more "nature" religion.

The Moors were a LATER group of Africans who came after 700 AD and practiced Islam.
