Yeah political activism of this type is not practised by most of us... shoot it is hard enough just to get us to vote during the midterms.

People need to know and understand how a particular issue will benefit or harm them PERSONALLY.
Once this is properly explained to them, it will more often than not motivate them to get off the couch.

The problem I see is the Democrat Party USED TO be the party of the people and the issues they promoted were simple and straight forward and easy for the public to understand.

We're for Civil Rights, Women's Rights, and Worker's Rights....vote for us!

And Troy if you rememer the 70s and early 80s most of the public was Democrat!

It was almst taboo in many circles among common people to claim to be a Republican or even vote Republican!

But sometime during the late 80s or 90s the Democrat Party got sabatoged with "environmental" issues "LGBT" moral issue and "legalizing weed" issues that confused a lot of voters and turned many others off.
So now over half of those who used to be Democrat now either turned Republican or just stay home and refuse to get involved because they don't see anyone fighting for them or pushing issues that interest them.

Obviously. Having admitted that, why should anybody pay any attention to or place any credence in the scenarios you make up in your head and subsequently declare to be true. Such as:

Coming from a woman who called a man who ADMITTED himself to be a chronic liar, "honest"....lol.....can my credibility be any worse????

My intelligence, education, or the lack of it has NO bearing on the truth.

If I say the Earth is round....the Earth is still round whether Pioneer went to elementary school or not.
If I say water is made up of oxygen and hydrogen....the water is still made up of these elements whether I can write my own name or not.

Either what I say is true or it isn't, my academic history is irrelevant in the matter.

    Troy

you views of college are distorted and warped. Indeed, they do sound like the ramblings of someone who never attended.

Whether or not you agree with my REASONS for why the percentage of AfroAmerican males in college are so low compared to many other demographics.....you wouldn't argue with me that they are still lowr, would you?

And if not......they what do YOU think the reasons are for the low rate of AfroAmerican males in institutions of higher learning if my reasons are wrong?

  3. Troy

what would you propose that we do with, or for, gay people?

    Lol.....
The same thing we do WITH and FOR straight people.

Treat them as individuals according to thier personal behavior.

However because AfroAmericans are still a numerical minority in this nation I think it would be in our best interests to keep our population optimal and not let it decrease.

If the homosexual population in any group increases,  theoretically that could also spell a DECREASE in the future population of that group since there would be a decrease in heterosexual male/female couples having sex and reproducing.

So I'd say just like they keep race and sex statistics.....I think we should also keep statistics on the percentage of the population who are heterosexual, homosexual, and bisexual to see if the RATES of homosexuality and bisexuality is indeed increasing in various groups.
    And if so...why.

If we are living in a free and open society where everyone can practice their sexuality in peace not hide who they are, and I notice that in one generation the percentage of homosexuals has increased from 5% to 13%.....I want to know why.

  4. This has been occuring in the United States for DECADES.

Not only are they separating immigrant children from their parents but every day AMERICAN CITIZENS are having their children taken away from them and "caged" by Child Protective Services and other agencies.

I'm very curious as to what will be the immediate and long terms reactions of the Latino communities in the United States.

  5. Cynique

    You're confused...lol.

First you say that you're not interested in the topics he discusses......
THEN you turn around and say atleast he's not a bore....

I guess you're right, paranoid schizophrenics are rarely boring....lol.

I'm just curious as to why is this thread the ONLY thread you've been posting on.

Dozens of topics you could be posting and commenting on, but the ONLY thread you've posted on in months has been THIS one.....and just to insult me.

See, this is the example of the HOSTILITY Del was talking about and trying to get a break from.....LOL.

  6. Cynique

In fact, your response just confirms what i've always said about you distorting things in order to make yourself look good.

Maybe I just LOOK GOOD to you and because you can't put your finger on it or figure out why, you're ATTRIBUTING it to that....lol.

None of those assertions are accurate. When i'm so inclined, if i get on Kalexander's wave length, i figure out what he's saying.

To get on HIS "wave length" you'd have to take PCP and LSD!
    Anyway.....

;) I don't lie or distort things, but thanks for telling me I look good!

  7. Every body is not "college" material and just because they are, it doesn't mean that they contribute to poverty eitherAnd

I think Most AfroAmerican males ARE NOT college material.

    I certainly wasn't.
Personally I don't claim to be too smart, I barely graduated from high school.
But intelligence and smarts aren't the reasons I say most AfroAmerican males aren't qualified for college and shouldn't be encouraged to go UNLESS they show a clear desire and propensity or talent for some field that demands academic credentials like law or medicine......

I says MOST (not all) shouldn't go because the ENVIRONMENT of most University campuses in the United States to day is very anti-AfroAmerican male.
The culture and the values that are promoted seems to be designed so that males who are very non-aggressive and non-sexual  get along best.

Most Black men in America come from urban areas where being aggressive and openly sexual toward women is not only part of the sub-culture but actually ENCOURAGED among eachother and looked upon as a badge of honor.
So when they come to most university environments where the culture is that of upperclass White America where the sexuality and aggressiveness is "marginalized" they often have a hard time fitting in.

Also, most university environments reward males who can just keep their heads down, not complain, and do what they are told without challenging any ideas.....something that is actually QUITE ANTI-MALE.

So whoever can supress their manhood or masculinity the most....is deemed the most professional.

Even many White males find it hard to function in today's academic world and often have to drop out and start their own thing in order to succeed because many universities today are heavily "feminized" or geared toward a more passive feminine non-confrontational atmosphere.
Something most AfroAmerican males have a hard time fitting in with.

We've always had very smart intellectuals in our ranks, but traditionally most Black men have gotten rich making money with our hands or using our innate talents like sports or music or some other type of artistic skill that required more creativity than strict classroom learning and indoctrination.

Even today, far more AfroAmerican men get wealthy from sports, music, and side-hustle businesses than they do from Master' and Doctorate degrees.

I'd go as far as to say that one of the reasons Black America is suffering so much economically today more so than the past 100 years is because most AfroAmerican men today are almost FORCED to go to college against their will instead of being allowed to develop more innate talents that would probably bring them more wealth and prestige WITHOUT the stress of having to appease and fit in with White American culture.

@Pioneer1 Speak for yourself, and stop assuming that you know what i think! Kalexander shucks and jives and is inclined to taunt people; that's his style which is why I referred to his posts as "raps". I am not deeply engaged in discussions with anyone anymore but  I get the impression that while he may mislead or exaggerate about himself, he doesn't falsify data when presenting his points.   That's the bottom line.

Like everyone else on this board, he's opinionated, and is just another member of the cast of characters who post here.

Well I can stop ASSUMING that I knew what you were thinking, because your words above actually CONFIRMS that I knew and was right..LOL.

  9. Cynique

How can you not comprehend that the above statement by Kalexander proves what i said about him being "honest and self aware" ???

    I comprehend it well.

He's admitting that while he'll lie to another person he won't lie to himself about who he really is.

With that said...the fact is he still admitted that HE WILL LIE TO OTHERS.

Infact, he even ADMITTED to being a liar outright:

    "T
rue, we're all liars but I'm not so stupid as to....."

    https://aalbc.com/tc/topic/5221-a-great-career-choice-for-black-folk-with-criminal-records-why-not-a-black-supremacy-emergence-from-within-white-supremacy/

But atleast he's an "honest liar".....lol.

I don't engage him in conversation that much because i am not provoked by what he raps about.

    Yeah right.....

    That's an understatement.

You don't engage him because he's KANYE WEST KRAZY....LOL.

And you know that despite his articulation and SEEMING intelligence....his thinking pattern is clearly disordered and any attempt at dialog with him would end up frustrating and confusing....lol.

  10. The 2 traffic changes I see going on the most in my community are:

    1. Bike lanes being installed
    2. Round-a-bouts being installed to take the place of traffic lights at intersections

I say the people get the government they deserve.

AfroAmericans and poor and working class people in general have the right and in most cases the ability and opportunity to go to city hall and pitch a bitch about the changes that are occuring in their community but most of them refuse to do so and many end up suffering as a consequence.

On multiple occasions I've gotten things done and changed on a local level simply by complaining and encouraging others who've noticed similar problems to complain also.

Detroit is getting HAMMERED right now with all types of taxes and fees that they're levying on the citizens from "water drainage" fees (gutter taxes) to extremely high car insurance rates that run into the HUNDREDS of dollars a month...and only a fraction of the people are actually mad enough to write letters or go to Lansing or Downtown to do anything about it.
The majority just suck it up and complain under their breath or refuse to pay and end up getting their cars or homes confiscated...which was probably the plan all along.

We're not totally helpless; but AfroAmericans need to do like Puff Daddy said and "get their mind right"....or else they'll continue to be victims of circumstances.

The only thing I'm "wanting" from YOU...is an APOLOGY.

....and you WILL apologize in BOTH of the threads that she was insulted in instead of just one.

    Troy

Umar's views on the LGBTQ community are no different than those of your garden variety Christian.

Dr. Johnson's views on LGBTQ are consistent with the anti-homosexuality views the African communities both here in the United States as well as around the globe have HISTORICALLY had for hundreds if not thousands of years.

Except for millenials......in most cases when you find African communities that accept homosexuality it's because they were FORCED into accepting it by White authorities who had some sort of power or influence over them.

It's not like we as a people sat down ON OUR OWN and reasoned that gays, lesbians, and bisexuals are a part of our community and we will take a vote and decide whether or not we'll accept them and their lifestyle.
It's usually a case of....if we want to keep our good paying jobs or keep getting that GRANT MONEY from the government we BETTER accept it...lol.

That's not very honorable and it's basically having a set of morals FORCED upon you.

I may not agree with all of his views on homosexuality, but for anyone in the medical/scientific field to publically take the stance that Umar has taken on homosexuality takes courage and integrity.

    Lol....speak for YOURSELF Krazy Al.
    I'm not a liar.

Man, how can an ADMITTED liar question anyone else's credentials????

I'm busy this morning and don't have time to clean up the #2 mess your making Krazy Al
So I'll let this article from the Huffington Post sets it straight:

    Dr. Umar Johnson........

Graduated from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (7/31/2009) with MBA in Clinical Psychology

Continued graduate education with Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine to receive his Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology (11/14/2012)

Administrative | Principal PK-12 (1115); Issued (8/1/2008); Continuing Education Status (active); Credentials Status: Valid for 5 years of service

*Educational Specialist II School Psychologist PK-12 (1875); Issued (3/1/2008); Continuing Education Status (active); Credential Status: Valid

*Educational Specialist I School Psychologist PK-12 (1875); Issued (6/1/2001); Continuing Education Status (active); Credentials Status: Converted

Under the Department of Education Dr. Johnson has been issued certifications, issue dates, continuing educational status, and credentials status to legally practice.

    https://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/in-defense-of-dr-umar-johnsons-credentials_us_5a4ff99ce4b0cd114bdb331b

So despite the rumors, gossip, and induendos....the man is legitimately licensed, degreed, and certified.

    So Krazy Alexander #2.....
Stop lying, get your FACTS (not rumors) straight and stop doing a #2 all over this board with your nonsense....lol.

There goes Krazy-Ass-Alexander  spreading RUMORS again......lol.

I thought I told you numerous times already....STOP LYING on people.

You don't know if the man is licensed or not.
You know nothing of his creditials because you haven't bothered to research them.

Hell, you even ADMIT that what you're saying is merely RUMOR yet still get on here and....in big print....shamelessly spread lies and rumors with little facts or research to back them up.

No wonder you have #2 in your name....it's what comes out of your mouth....lol.

  15. Now to show people how on point I am about what we need to do............

About a week ago I said:

    "
Educated and wealthy AfroAmericans SHOULD be using their money, talents, and influence to EMPLOY other AfroAmericans who need it.

Too many of our people have this "I got mine you get yours" mentality that keeps BOTH of us looking for Caucasians to help us out and support us.

Instead of deriding and beating up on AfroAmericans with criminal histories and low or no education pushing them to go to school and get more eduation and clean themselves up ect..........

It's better for wealthy educated AfroAmericans to just START BUSINESSES in the ghetto, make sure they're highly secured, and start employing our people with SIMPLE jobs that pay decently and don't require education or skills.

So if you're a successful AfroAmerican writer or publisher and you're know other successful AfroAmerican writers and publishers.....

STOP going from school to school giving lectures and patting kids on the back telling them to start writing so they can be the next Zora or Langston.

START building 4 wall buildings where your books can be published and stored and START employing Black men and women from your local community and pay them a DECENT WAGE to:

    -help maintain the building
    -mop the floors
-set up chairs and tables for special events
    -cook the food
    -keep the lawn manicured

THAT will help put more money in the pockets of AfroAmericans who need it than al the motivational speeches, pats on the back, and columns in the Huffington all put together! "

And lo and behold, just today I was listening to Dr Umar Johnson speaking on a show and HE comes out and says..............

The solutions are there.....if people really seek them.

Lol, let me get this straight.......

The reason why I changed my avatar from a picture of someone who was NOT ME....to a spiral....and then to another picture of someone who was NOT ME......was because of you?

And all this time I thought I had a spiral in place of a picture because I hadn't decided if I wanted to use a picture of Booker T or a picture of  Marcus Garvey .

I guess you....Krazy Alexander #2......set me straight about my REAL intentions.....lol.

  17. There's a difference between the end of the Earth and the end of the World.

I believe this planet is billions of not trillions of years old and has gone through many "worlds" and civilizations that have sprung up, flourished, and ended.

I also believe that many of these civilizations were far more advanced than what we typically call "Western civilization" today.

But it's hard to PROVE history.....so it's just a belief.

  18. Mel

    Heh, Heh, heh....

Dang girl....you laugh like Eddie Murphy....lol

    Cynique

which is why you are perfect target practice for Kalexander

    Lol.....@ "target practice".
How can the insults of some half-demented coward who ran away from America to hide out in Israel be taken seriously????

BTW, do you have to use viagra when humping your blow up doll?

Speaking of my blow up doll......
Tell your 72 year old "beef cake boyfriend" to make sure he returns it to me when he's back from vacation.

He figured you'd get on his nerves and he'd end up sending you back home early so he asked me if he could borrow it before you all left......LOL.

((Lol...everybody is laughing at that one but they aren't gonna admit it))

  19. Kalexdander probably doesn't like Curtis Mayfield because he says "nigga" too much.....lol.

I didn't care too much for Superfly or The Mack but I DO have a lot of respect for many of the movies that are commonly called "Blaxploitation" today.

Infact, I was watching Sweetback's Baaaaadass Song the other day.....LOL.

Gimme some Foxy Brown...some Dolemite.....Three The Hard Way.....!!!
I can watch them all night!

Say what you want about those low budget films back then but atleast you got STRONG Black males who not only were the PROTAGONISTS in the film but kicked ass and got the women.

And unlike many interracially casted films in Hollywood,  Black people were usually the PROTAGONISTS in those films.
Except for Django Unchained and a few others, most of the movies out of Hollywood today rarely show a powerful Black male lead who kicks ass, gets the women, and survives in the end.
And they REALLY RARELY portray White men as the "bad guys" like they did back in the 70s.

Another thing I liked about those films in the 70s is the large amount of naked Black women!

It may sound strange coming from a gay white mason but if you

I still remember the Pam Griers, Gloria Hendry's, and Lola Folana's and those nice round brown hips and boucing breasts...lol.

The beauty and sensuality of REALISTIC AfroAmerican women is rarely seen on the big screen today, but in the 70s you saw plenty of it and I think it did a lot to improve the esteem of most Black females.  Finally you had dark skinned and brown skinned Black women with curly and kinky hair on the big screen getting naked with all their curves and Black men loving them up and down.

When was the last time you saw a DARK SKINNED Black women naked in a movie that wasn't about slavery?

I still remember the Pam Griers, Gloria Hendry's, and Lola Folana's and those nice round brown hips and boucing breasts...lol.

I think the 70s was a far more realistic time in Hollywood than today not just for AfroAmericans but for ALL Americans in general because if you look at the movies the people were typically portrayed looking and behaving like they actually did in society.

  20. I've met several "Zakia"s over the years......and every one of them I can think of were female.

Although I don't believe THIS POSTER is a female the way he's going after feminists.

Probably just using a female name as a cover.

Kind of like how YOU'RE using the picture of some dude standing wide legged in white pants and a flowery shirt and shades as a cover for who YOU really are....lol.

  21. One of them is still running, although I haven't taken much time to maintain it.

I've started and shut down many depending on what business or project I'm working on.
Since me and most of those I associate with are usually not skilled enough in building a huge professional website from scratch, I usually use the do-it-yourself website builders with already established templates that charge a yearly fee.

Infact, I believe YOU posted on one of them.

It was back a few years ago when I was working on a project for Flint and the water problems they were (still are) having up there.

But whatever I'm working on, I'm  SURE not gonna promote Facebook and force people to get an account with them in order to do business with me....lol.

  22. Krazy-Alexander

"[f]eel" says it all, is nothing more without evidence. I've supported my argument with scholarly articles that the term 'race' has no biological bases and is therefore meaningless when describing, referring to different people. I've asked before, to no avail, post an argument contrary, if you can.

For every article you can produce stating that race DOESN'T exist, I can produce several scientific articles where RACE ITSELF is used as a factor.

Again, my argument with you ISN'T about whether race exists or not.....

    It's about your COGNITIVE DISSONANCE.

Your claiming that race does not exist while at the same time focusing on it in damn near every discussion.

No, exact words only, in numerous posts you alluded to the idea Blacks would be better off seeking servitude opportunities instead of education; that (most) Black folk doesn't have what it takes to succeed in school, etc. Is exactly what you've said.

I NEVER said that Blacks would be better off in servitude. Although if we were SERVING EACHOTHER......servitude probably wouldn't be so bad.

What I HAVE suggested and still suggest is that AfroAmericans would be not only wealthier but in a better socio-economic condition in general if we focused more on mastering skilled labor, agriculture, and other trades instead of focusing so much on what YOU are calling an "education" but what is REALLY just useless training at White institutions.

Education teaches you to think for yourself.
What most Black students get at White institutions is TRAINING.

My integrity entail what I know to be true, can, and have proven with reasonable, sound support by science; that Black folk are capable of being better than Whites, can do anything a Whiteman/woman can do. Which greatly contradict your disbelief in science and your White ideas that seemingly aim to further disenfranchise Black folk as you support Black marginalization. Everone is not like you. Please, get a legitimate life, stop posting avatar after avatar whenever you're called out, under the guise of privacy.

And this is EXACTLY what I mean about your COGNITIVE DISSONANCE.

First you claim that science dismisses the idea of race....THEN you turn around and claim science supports that Blacks can do the same as Whites, which establishes a racial difference between the two.

Please, get a legitimate life, stop posting avatar after avatar whenever you're called out, under the guise of privacy

Man if you live way the hell over in Israel and are so lonely that you have to resort to trolling Black websites all day and all night.....because you NEVER seem to take a break....perhaps YOU'RE the one who needs a "life".

Almost everytime I post, you seem to be on it and respond in less than a hour.....LOL.

What the hell do you DO all day?
Sit around smoking cigarettes and sipping on hot coco while monitoring this site for my responses??
