THE MNIKE AMAPIANO SONG & LINE DANCE!

I've been binge watching this one. I had no idea that the last one I posted was also a global craze. It just recently came out, I think in April 2023 and it's everywhere. And I thought the Curious Line Dance was difficult but this one is a challenge. I think the last line dance with Kacy in it has one of the most popular dancers behind her. His name is Calvin Perda and he does tutorials, that is how good he dances! There has been some controversy about the song about some of the performers not being credited fully and then some people question the lyrics, however, it do not see any alarming issues right now. At any rate, I hope to share more about this song and line dance. It is amazing.

This is Calvin Perda in one of his many videos. He's in demand, and featured with many groups, and that's how good he dances the MNIKE.

🤣 I know what you say is true more than you may realize! I know this on a personal level and it hurts!!!

I've been passed over so many times, I stopped counting!

But @Pioneer1 when it comes to dancing, I don't believe that certain aspects of it can ever be taught to the effect that African people's natural ability could ever be surpassed. I've not seen it.

But you're gonna have to cut me some slack on Kacy Rondeau, because she is talented and her rhythm natural and her love for African music and dance is something to be appreciated. Some people only want to replace us, but then there are other types of people that acknowledge African uniqueness and it is frustrating to have to deal with the kind that steal.  Now, I could understand it if she was like, the leader of an African country, but she married a Nigerian man and has a son from this union. I would not acknowledge someone who obviously is trying to be better than Black people, but I just don't get that vibe from this woman. No matter what, there are always going to be some uncle Tom's that go overboard but, that should not stop humans from acknowledging the positivity of others.

I hope to share more on this topic because, I did not realize that there was so many new LINE DANCES today. The South African song and line dance for Jerusalema is global and I've just seen a wedding video where this was featured in Eritrea!

In fact, the last line dance I posted is a very recent one and it is insane!!! It too went global, THE MNIKE Amapiano, OMG!!! LOL! I've been binge watching. It's from South Africa too, and nobody does this one better than mostly South Africans! Calvin Perda is one that comes to mind. I think it just came out in April 2023.

Just like you have some White dudes who can sing, dance, and have a strong sense of style.....a lot of them have African ancestry deep in their background that comes through.

Uh ... sounds like a contradiction, here @Pioneer1

    LOL!

Okay, so I need you to cut me some slack on the Canadian dancer I posted, then, Kacy Rondeau!

    Okay!?

    🤣

Btw....the 6,000 year date was given because CAUASIANS are only around 6,000 years old.
THEY are the descendants of Adam and Eve.....not us.

Oh!!! Here we go again! @Pioneer1

Even Minister Louis Farrakhan had to retract that statement.

Back in the 1970s he said this, but later, he retracted this because it is SO NOT TRUE!

You know darn well that Neandethals are older than 6000 years, so therefore, White people cannot be only 6000 years older as we all MODERN HUMANS, both Black and White come after the Neanderthals and after the earlier straight haired BLACK HOMINIDS.

    We.....the original people....are known as "Pre-Adamites".
We've been around BILLIONS if not TRILLIONS of years.

Where in the world are you getting this from!? There is no Negroes with afros that can be proven before 6000 years.

Negroes with afros are NOT PRE-ADAMITES.

I'm sure you've watched paternaty shows where the judge says 99.99% proof that YOU ARE THE FATHER!!!

That is not White man's science, that is proven scientific facts!

Stop being so arrogant @Pioneer1! LOL!

You give White people credit for Black origins.

And not only that but you are contradicting yourself!

In another thread you talk about White men having black genes, LOL!

That's because all modern mankind can be scientifically traced back to one male origin out of Africa.

    LOL!

Okay, and there are some good aspects of ads too, I suppose.

    Thank you.

So, while the God-fearing choose to turn the other cheek or pray for their enemies when attacked by racists, the righteous will go down swinging fists...and chairs.🤣😎

When ever that scripture comes up, other Christians will also bring up the fact that JESUS went off at the money changers in the temple. He whipped them and forcefully put them out of the temple. So, that scripture is totally mis-understood about turning the other cheek.

It's contextual people. Some situation calls for self-defense!

If you like a post by giving it a heart, trophy, or smiley face, you can later remove it by clicking the little X.  The little X then goes away.

Yes @Troy This is part of what I see that is a new feature. In the past, that little x did not appear by the heart, trophy or smiley fact, but now it does. And the little x also appears in other places on the screen as well.

    22 hours ago, Pioneer1 said:

Now it seems like a little window for commercials has begun to pop up along with the little black x box.

Yes, @Pioneer1 That is what I stated previously. The little window ads now show up in the lower right corner of my screen and the little x appears in the window at the top right for you to click it. If you click it, then the ad window goes away.

But I think that because these ads take a little longer to appear, then the little x appears first without the ad at times.

    22 hours ago, ProfD said:

What you all are seeing could be the result of ad-blocking or computer security software.

Ads are a necessary part of the business when it comes to running  a free website.

If we don't want to see ads or little boxes or whatever, we could contribute money to help brotha @Troy maintain the site.😁😎

Yes, @ProfD One website did say that it could be some type of computer security software and/or ad-blocking.

My first goal is to support Black businesses, especially like this community when I can!

    17 hours ago, Pioneer1 said:

The two may be related, but the box I often see is a small black SQUARE with an X in it.
It usually stays in one place, even when you scroll the page up and down.

Yes! And it is also related because the little x by the smiley face, etc. is also a new feature that I don't remember seeing in the past.

    16 hours ago, Troy said:

Is it similar to an X that you might see to close an advertisement?

What happens when you click the X?

I'm experimenting with a new advertising partner it could be an ad unit, missing an ad?  I dunno I'll keep my eyes open for it.

    BINGO!!!

That's it @Troy. Sometimes the ad pops up with the little x in the right corner. So, if you click on the little x, then the ad goes away. But sometimes, I think the ad take a long time to pop up, so then the little x appears by itself. And if you don't click on it, then, you can't even exit out of a particular thread, or you can't even sign out of the community. The x stays in the same place, is sporadic, and it may pop up spontaneously in any thread.

I tried to clear my browser, earlier like @ProfD suggested but that didn't work. Then I came to realize that it might be as you have suggested, a new software added to this website.

The internet if flooded with this story.

Even still a lot of the videos that are posted showing the actual brawl are taken down pretty quickly.

I did see a few though, that showed mostly all of what was videod. I saw the swimmer swinging and landing some blows.

And, I saw the man with the folding chair.

One meme looks like Jamie Fox, but I am not sure.

Yes, I am still seeing it.

Some sites that I have researched states that this issue is not uncommon, but I still do not understand why it has started happening all of a sudden and so far, only this community.

But a couple of sources states that it may be due to browser issues.

One source says that it could be updated issues and etc.

I am still looking into it.

I ran an update but I just saw it again.

However, yesterday, I did see something different. I saw that adds popped up with that same little 'x' on the bottom right of my screen, and after I clicked the 'x', the add disappeared. So I wonder if this is a new feature, because I have never gotten adds in that area of my screen until now.

But again, today, the 'x' popped up without the ad.

You're right. @Pioneer1 The video of this brawl does not even come close to some of the other videos of Black people being attacked. I don't get it!

And, mostly all of the major news sources play this brawl and anyone can access it.

Oh! I got stuck! Great article. @Troy

I watched the first video but the second one is over an hour long!!!

I started watching it though, and GEEZ!

I ended up reading the entire article. I couldn't stop! It took me, like, ALL DAY!

I couldn't turn away, this article was written so well!

I started reading around 12 noon and stopped around 5:30 PM!!!

Then, I kept thinking about it all evening, and even though I was exhausted and have little sleep, I just had to

finish the whole article and then watched the first video.

For some reason this reminds me of a documentary that JayZ did.

I definitely want to comment on some of what i read, but I am so tired!

I hope to come back to comment. It's about 3:00 AM--in the morning!

    I am SO ANGRY!

Yes, absolutely. You have to choose battles and make decision for the good of the entire community. That is what keeps this alive, your wisdom and boldness in the way that you deal with forum moderation. Sometimes, I can see that at times you will come into a thread and reply to bad spirited posters and I am like, YES! Troy commented! And, I know I am not immune myself to perhaps getting into the heat of the debate and, I sometimes look over my shoulder, so-to-speak. LOL.

I think there are many African Americans like me, who have been burnt so deeply due to racism and discrimination because of being Black so therefore, I just do NOT trust America at all and this causes me to respond emotionally when faced with an obvious racial attack.

  14. Another Popular Line Dance!

WOW! There seems to be an explosion for Line Dances lately! There is a new one that popped up on my channel called THE TAMIA LINE DANCE, I Can't Get Enough. The song by Tamia, is I Can't Get Enough, and this Line Dance is so popular that it is featured at many venues. I never heard of it until now, but it was made popular back in 2018! I had no idea. I still think Jerusalema is one of the best, I've ever seen, so much so, it was performed worldwide and in many different venues. I mean, it was so awesome it was performed in many places in Europe, India, and all over Africa to the point there was a dance challenge. It was performed in a Scandinavian Airport and the dancers were employees and they went all out! Remember the song, Happy by Pharrell, that song was so loved, it was performed all over the world, however, I don't believe it was a dance line choreographed, rather people performed their own renditions and interpreted what made them Happy!

I love the couple that I saw first who performed it! Some of the viewers called the guy, Chad, 'White Chocolate' LOL. I have to admit, he was killing it--with his wife. And I posted another of my favorite renditons. But then, I saw another amazing Line Dance that has also become extremely popular called THE CURIOUS LINE DANCE. I believe it is more recentand was choreographed by a Black man out of New York, however, it is performed everywhere especially at Black social event!

The Curious Line Dance seems a little challenging, imo and not many who do it can really work it out! But I posted two of my favorites, and these brothers killed it.

And there is a third one I just absolutely love and that became so popular that it became global a few years ago from Africa. And the song became viral. Eventually someone came up with a choreography that also went viral and sparked a dance challenge that went global. This line dance is from the song KELVYN BOY and the song is so lovely. The dance lines are performed in many venues such as wedding parties. Couples love to dance with this song even older couples all over the world. And there are dance groups that have become famous all over Africa. But one of my most favorite rendition is by a Canadian girl that became so famous that she herself went viral. Her name is Kacy Rondeau and she moved to Ghana and was discovered by a media company in Nigeria. She married a Nigerian man and has lived in Africa for more than five years. She is so awesome and she kills this dance!

Racism needs to be eradicated completely and for you to remove them or not isn't going to solve the problem. Still though, I feel that they should not get away with some of the racist things they say and do in America.

At what point should Hate Speech be defined as a Hate crime?

I understand freedom of Speech, but to commicate certain derogatory typed speech, I feel should be regulated, but again, at what point should a citation be dealt is the question.

But there were some gun violence in the 60s, sad to say.

However, as you say, it wasn't many, mostly knife crimes.

I remember when I was in 2nd grade the school intercom announcement warned us about a gang called 'the Jolly Green Giants' jumping kids while walking home from school. It gave me nightmares. But thankfully, I had a few male cousins that were rough enough for the threat, and probably were, uh, ya know what I'm finna say . . . LOL. They showed up a lot to jump in and help me and my sister out, as we did get in a lot of fights on the school grounds.

Conspiracy or Not? Obama's Chef, Tamari Campbell Drowning

    spacer.png

Following the news of Campbell's untimely passing, his wife Sherise shared this photo to Instagram noting she was 'heartbroken'

I came across this brief youtube video and, although the host says that he believes that 99% this drowning was accidental, however, he also has a 1% doubt.

One of the main reasons he says that he believes there could be a deeper reason behind this death is because this is the second incident of a White House Chef who died by accidental drowning.

Back in 2015, the Clinton's Chef also died by accidental drowning.

Also, Tafari was initially reported to have repeatedly said that he could not swim, however, in this brief video, a couple of video's are shown of him actually swimming!

Yeah, so I really did not pause about this awful and sad news until I came across this report. Now I do wonder!

Tafari was initially hired on the Bush administration, I think a then was asked to stay on to be a cook for the Obamas.

And he became Obama's personal chef.

And like this host said, WHAT A NEAT NAME, TAFARI. I love it and can see a connection between Obama and the chef with regards to this wonderful name!

I feel so sorry for his family.

Anyway, here is the video and some brief references and a comment from the youtube.

Chefs make the perfect "accidental witness". They see, hear and learn things we don't.

The people that say these things are worried about the possibility of certain things that

were said over their meal being "leaked". How do you ultimately protect information that

wasn't supposed to be shared? Eliminate ALL possible witnesses to the fact. Chefs do it

by accident... they hear too much and that's no conspiracy but a fact.

"It's a Trend" - Obama's White House Chef Found Dead

    spacer.png

Tafari Campbell, 45, (pictured with wife Sherise) was found dead on Monday by divers after going missing while paddle boarding on the pond that backs on to Barack Obama 's sprawling $12million estate.

Campbell's family told the South Florida Sun Sentinel in 2009 he had always shown an interest in cooking and would frequently whip something up when his large family came to visit.

He graduated from a culinary school in Virginia, and had briefly owned his own restaurant before applying for a job at the White House.

The sous chef was eventually hired under the George W. Bush administration, and was one of just four White House cooks asked to stay on under Obama.
