These last few post are too funny!

But there were some gun violence in the 60s, sad to say.

However, as you say, it wasn't many, mostly knife crimes.

I remember when I was in 2nd grade the school intercom announcement warned us about a gang called 'the Jolly Green Giants' jumping kids while walking home from school. It gave me nightmares. But thankfully, I had a few male cousins that were rough enough for the threat, and probably were, uh, ya know what I'm finna say . . . LOL. They showed up a lot to jump in and help me and my sister out, as we did get in a lot of fights on the school grounds.

Conspiracy or Not? Obama's Chef, Tamari Campbell Drowning

    spacer.png

Following the news of Campbell's untimely passing, his wife Sherise shared this photo to Instagram noting she was 'heartbroken'

I came across this brief youtube video and, although the host says that he believes that 99% this drowning was accidental, however, he also has a 1% doubt.

One of the main reasons he says that he believes there could be a deeper reason behind this death is because this is the second incident of a White House Chef who died by accidental drowning.

Back in 2015, the Clinton's Chef also died by accidental drowning.

Also, Tafari was initially reported to have repeatedly said that he could not swim, however, in this brief video, a couple of video's are shown of him actually swimming!

Yeah, so I really did not pause about this awful and sad news until I came across this report. Now I do wonder!

Tafari was initially hired on the Bush administration, I think a then was asked to stay on to be a cook for the Obamas.

And he became Obama's personal chef.

And like this host said, WHAT A NEAT NAME, TAFARI. I love it and can see a connection between Obama and the chef with regards to this wonderful name!

I feel so sorry for his family.

Anyway, here is the video and some brief references and a comment from the youtube.

Chefs make the perfect "accidental witness". They see, hear and learn things we don't.

The people that say these things are worried about the possibility of certain things that

were said over their meal being "leaked". How do you ultimately protect information that

wasn't supposed to be shared? Eliminate ALL possible witnesses to the fact. Chefs do it

by accident... they hear too much and that's no conspiracy but a fact.

"It's a Trend" - Obama's White House Chef Found Dead

    spacer.png

Tafari Campbell, 45, (pictured with wife Sherise) was found dead on Monday by divers after going missing while paddle boarding on the pond that backs on to Barack Obama 's sprawling $12million estate.

Campbell's family told the South Florida Sun Sentinel in 2009 he had always shown an interest in cooking and would frequently whip something up when his large family came to visit.

He graduated from a culinary school in Virginia, and had briefly owned his own restaurant before applying for a job at the White House.

The sous chef was eventually hired under the George W. Bush administration, and was one of just four White House cooks asked to stay on under Obama.

LOL! Initially, I thought you made a mistake, but then, I think that was intentional; Unidentified FRYING  Objects!

Anyhow, I think that this subject being brought up in government official forums and the military is insane!

I can see why the government and military would be aggressive about tracking airplanes and missiles to protect our country from foreign entry!

    That is crucial.

But to phrase these military operations to track foreign airplanes as being UFOS and UAP in association with outer space objects and perceived phenomena is ridiculous IMO.

I believe a lot of money it spent on tracking asteroids byway of the federal government. They support NASA and other space agencies intensely and I can understand this too, but to lump these endeavors in one category is crazy.

Mankind have invented a lot of satellites and space instruments and flying air machines that successfully have been launched into our airways and into space, but I believe a distinction should be made in what mankind have launched as oppossed to natural space phenomena if at all possible.

Maybe it is that our government cannot always confirm whether or not the UAPs are manmade and that is why they lump it all in one category, but sometimes, I think they can come up with some type of protocol to quickly rule out if it is one or the other, but they just don't want to be honest about it and so, they report in such a way as to invite idiots to speak crazy beliefs and they use this as a smoke screen to deal with real threats and not have to bother with junk believers which causes prolems in protecting their major interest with governmental defense issues.

We also know that people descent from farming cultures are less likely to be lactose intolerant -- it is a function of having the enzyme to break lactose down not skin color.

I believe this only partially and don't think that the real origin of genes that cause lactase to be in the intestines of certain people while not in others is not completely understood. Scientist know it has to do with genes but then they say it is also based on some cultures who drink milk all of the time and for this reason will develop lactase. But again, I think there is some contradiction especially considering the ancient TURKISH PEOPLES; The Keraites.

They know that the Keraites drink milk and ate yogurt but they did have problems with being lactose intolerant.

You think about people in very rigid terms (i.e. Black or not Black), when in reality we are all on a spectrum when it comes to all the characteristic from lip thickness, hair texture, skin color, eye color, or any other attribute that you want to use determine race. You believe there must be some binary rule to define Blackness as if there was a Black gene, or combination of genes, that makes one Black. There isn't.  Humans are far more complex and nuanced.

    @Troy THE BLACK GENE?

Melanin, would probably be the best way to understand this topic.

There are combination of genes that do define certain characteristics that certain humans exhibit. Genes tend to travel in pairs.

But as you say, we are all on a spectrum when it comes to all the characteristics, ALL EXCEPT FOR ONE!!! And that one, is what makes people of African descent, ABORGINALS, unique. And yes, I believe that understanding genetics and how modern western mankind have confused us with their definition of 'Race' in relation to 'skin color' is wrong but this is what they did to make it seem complex.

SKIN COLOR is arbitrary in terms of defining humans based solely on this phenotype basis, but the origin and genetics is important too, in how it relates to what @Pioneer1is addressing. Food allergies are a reality but how it relates to certain humans in terms of 'race' is confusing, I agree, but it's because of modern interpretations.

We, as modern humans share more traits than not, and even show that we have inter-bred with Primitive humans, however, you will never see any scientific proof that Neanderthals were walking around with afros. This factor is vital in understanding how we all as modern humans differientiate on the spectrum of genotypical traits.

That B006 haplotpe is supposed to be Neanderthal  origin, and exclusively in non-Africans.

That is absolutely questionable. Scientists have not confirmed any male haplogroup for Neanderthals, and as this article explains, they are trying to exact statements based on 'X-linked Haplotype' to base their opinions. Other studies say that Neanderthals were Lactose Intolerant, but I don't actually believe that completely because for now, they say that Neanderthals ate meat as a main diet and did not drink milk. And they say that Neanderthals have blood type O, and that is a broad interpretation, imo. So I think though, that Neanderthal genetics is important in understanding how we differ today!

I had a delayed reaction to this point in that makes me think of how the Western viewpoint of the kind of brown people that do fight against things they don't like are negatively portrayed byway of negative propaganda, so therefore, this could be thought of by others as a way to make others afraid of taking any form of action.

Many Black descended of enslaved complain that all black people do is complain, not enough action. But the articles linked at the end of this post, are complaints from two groups: one a gender race, the other a linguistic race, not the black phenotypical race.

What is my point? Black people in the usa and elsewhere tend to complain that we are the only ones who complain and everyone else are great do-ers, the two articles prove by the words of those in other communities, they are not do-ers.

If the POLL had a third option @richardmurray, of which would be 'Not sure', then I would select that option because I really don't know if other ethnic people complain as much as Black people do. I know that they complain, but I don't know if they do to the same degree as Black people.

I read some of the article you posted but need to come back and read all of it before I know for sure how to comment.

BUT, I do feel sometimes, that only after Black people complain about certain issues that revolve around racial injustice, then and only then do other ethnic people complain when they see that Black people begin to get noticed and this, in turn, is used against Black people whereby others will get the better relief while we just get blamed for starting the problem and then demonized and then suppressed even more so. That is how I feel.

1:17 the third black disney princess

1:22 Hans Christian Anderson version was so different than this. ...

I have not seen this movie. After my kids grew up, I've drifted away from watching a lot of films but if I get free time, I would watch it because it seems to be a great film.

I have not watched the Princess and the Frog but that too seems like a good film but I did watch Cinderella, the new version with Brandy and Whiteney Houston and Whoopi Goldberg.

I thought what the review host said was very interesting. I can see now that Disney is doing this because they want to shift the narrative and theme to include Black females as being princesses. And, as she said too, I can see that Disney is trying to change other past accepted beliefs and is why the prince in Cinderella was Asian, however, I thought this was a little far fetched. The casting of Whoopi and the queen mother and the actor as the father who was White, makes sense that the prince could be acceptable as being Asian, but still, it was odd imo. Other than that, I loved the movie. I loved the Step-mother and the actresses that played the sisters.

Now though, because of the back lash about the princess in The Little Mermaid, it makes me laugh to imagine a movie being remade with Belle being Black for The Beauty and the Beast! LOL.

Side Note too: The original Cinderella is Black anyway! I've written about this in that, it is the very story remade by Europeans in White face, but they got this story from the Biblical Book, SONG OF SOLOMON of the Black Virgin that Solomon wrote about. And although, mermaids are fantastical, I vaguely remember reading about ancient legends during the pre-Greek Classical Age and etc. of how ancient peoples stories about male half-human-half-fish sea creatures, sea-dragons and etc. Mermons (male mermaids) were common myths in ancient times, so maybe that is why Disney thought it would be a good idea to make a modern version of Little Mermaid be Black.

      =========================  ***     ========================

I did a brief research to refresh my mind about the historical aspect of the name ‘Remus’ and why whenever I think about this name, I always associate it to a common name for Black Slave men during chattel slavery time. This subject came up due to a recent comment on another discussion thread. I was reminded of my past research and shared my thoughts in the discussion to Pioneer. I believe in ancient Roman times, the Romans developed a type of script format in which many words and phrases were written in reverse script. However, they were not the first civilization to this but it goes way back in time to the Egyptians and the Bible contains a lot of this feature as the prophets coded prophecy in this format. By Roman times, it became known as Palindrome and it was extensive. This method of script has been used to retain hidden definitions and therefore, I believe that the name ‘Remus’ is one such name that has a hidden historical aspect. I believe that this name was given to many Black slave men based on an historical hidden aspect that goes all the way back to Roman times and is associated with the ancient Romans’ Founder legend about the two brothers, Remus and Romulus. Furthermore, I also believe that this ancient Roman Founder story includes these two names because it symbolizes a hidden message of how the Romans exploited ancient Black people that were indigenous to ancient Europe.

I believe that the two names represent two distinct ‘Black peoples’ that coexisted in Italy and the Romans targeted them with a ‘divide-and-conquer-method, and systematically created conflicts that rose between them which led to them attacking each other. This is a repeated practice of infiltration and then extinction attempts that ancient Romans used in many ancient Black civilizations. The fact that this ancient legend defines the two Black men as being ‘brothers’ is extremely significant because most of the Black civilizations always developed with Black men who set up on a ‘brotherhood system’ and although their cultures were distinct, however, due to their practice of marriage alliances, there was always a common brotherhood bond in early civilizations. For this reason, I believe that the name ‘Remus’ signifies a type of Sumerian people (Sumer-Remus) and ‘Romulus’ signifies a type of Etruscan peoples (Moor-Sulu) of whom migrated into Italy from Syria and Turkey Anatolia around the 1200s BC and intermixed with Lusitanians. Fast forward to modern times, I believe that the name of ‘Remus’ carries a certain meaning in association to Black people and this may be why the author of The Song of the South chose the name ‘Uncle Remus’ to describe an ex-slave Black man as the central character to his stories.

The author, Joel Chandler Harris, a White man, lived on a plantation in Georgia and developed his stories from listening to the Black people that lived on this planation. He became well acquainted with the kind of pidgin language spoken by the Black Americans on this plantation and strongly believed that it was very important to preserve this Black cultural aspect of spoken language. His books and his rendition became very popular, however, some Black Americans became offended. And so, eventually, the Uncle Remus stories became a controversy of which may still be so today. Presently, some people believe that these stories should still be made available to the public and the history should continue to be preserved. The ancient Roman historical aspect of what I believe exist as an underlying factor and that has been kept completely hidden, therefore, I wonder why bother keeping it in the forefront today. In addition to the Uncle Remus stories of our modern times and the Disney special that came from it, however, in Europe there was another author that wrote a story called, The Life and Times of Remusa, and the ethnic aspect that seems to connect this story to the complete overthrow of the mysterious Etruscans in Rome seems surreal. That story revolves around a Slavic people, the Kashubians, in Poland and one major aspect of the story revolves around the comedic fashion in how the character speaks.

Although Uncle Remus’s name has its ultimate origins

n Rome’s Romulus and Remus legend, its more immediate

antecedent was an elderly Black gardener Harris met in

Forsyth, Georgia, where Harris had served from 1867 to

Check out the story of Romulus and Remus....the alleged "founders" of Rome.
The myth says that when they came from up north  (north of Rome are the Alps....mountains and caves) and went down to found Italy, they were just little boys and lived among the wild wolves for protection until they could grow up and fend for themselves.
They even were SUCKLED by wolves as little children.

There's a statue of this in Rome

Yes, I thought about this story when I think about feral humans @Pioneer1 BUT guess what!? This story actually refers to Black, initially!

There came about many renditions later leading up to the Roman Empire times.

I've read where, this founders story about Rome correlates today to the Santa Claus stories of today because it became an important story to tell around the annual Roman holidays.

But again, this story actually goes way back in time and the Romans re-told the story and switched out a more ancient 'BLACK' brother story and replaced it with a cultural and ethnic brother story.

In more ancient times, the story of Remus and Romulus was earlier a story about two brothers of ancient Egypt and the legend became known as

THE TWO HUNI BROTHERS and became a global story for different ancient people all over the world. They Mayans called it the story of the HUNIWA BROTHERS.

Ancient Egyptians told this legend that revolved around the overthrow of the 3rd Dynasty by the TWO HUNI BROTHERS and gave rise to the 4th Dynasty; the first Theban Dynasty, pyramid builder pharaohs. I believe it is a story about Noah and his half brother SENEFERU [i.e. Neferhotep & Seneferu].

At any rate, the story of the founders of Rome was about two brothers REMUS & ROMULUS, and they were actually two ETRUSCANS and so, the Romans migrated from the east into Italy at the time that the 'ethnic' Etruscans actually dominated Italy. The Romans give credit to the Etruscans for being the initial cultures that they soon completely overthrew, but no matter, just like America still gives credit for the Native American Indians being aboriginal and celebrate how the Indians helped them celebrate their first THANKSGIVING, it was only a few years later, that they completely wiped out most of those same Indians with infested blankets they gave them as gifts.

SO JUST LIKE THE WONDERFUL STORIES we hear every Thanksgiving of Chief Sitting Bull and Hiawatha, and the Iroquoise that helped fight with the English, etc., credit is given but still the Americans completely wiped out that way of life. This is what happened to THE ETRUSCAN CIVILIZATION.

For hundreds of years, around 800 BC, I think, the civilization became known as ROME-ETRUSCA, but then around the 400s BC, the Etruscans were completely attacked and the new government was formed and called ROME REPUBLIC.

    So the story of REMUS-&-ROMULUS is about the two Black brothers that actually founded the Etruscan civilization that the later Romans turned into a major legend and told to their children this story about how Rome was founded. This story is sometimes sewn in with the Etruscan leader named Tertullus [i.e. I think that was his name, I forget] So now, I will do what the Romans are known to have done during their age of Romance when they developed a distinct script form: I WILL REVERSE THE NAMES so that you can see the actually origin of REMUS-&-ROMULUS is really about two Black males;

    Remus---SUMER for SUMERIAN ---------------- and Romulus--SULU-MOOR [Moreno]

    Romulus-&-Remus

Do you remember the slave stories hear in early America about 'UNCLE REMUS', Yeah, Remus is a Black name that is coded and its hidden meaning is in reverse.

And, one main tribe that were indigenous to ancient Italy long before the Romans migrated down from Turkey Anatolia into Italy was a people known as

SULU or LUSITANS OR LUZ. The Lusitanians are a dominant early peoples of both Turkey Anatolia and Italy and elsewhere in pre-historic Europe. So the story of Remus and Romulus is a legend about two Black boys that were said to be wild and raised by wolves. LOL. For some mysterious reason, there were a lot of ancient script about babaric peoples living in the Greek Isles and ancient Greece which is in that very region in the Aegean Sea and the Adriatic Sea before the rise of the Italian tribes and the Romans.

Black men NATURALLY have a higher sex drive than White man which means we NATURALLY are more fertile and will produce more children.

LOL! @Pioneer1 I promise you!--That is not true!!!

You know, I reference the GENOME PROJECT a lot in reference to male births versus female births, however, that has nothing to do with sex drive!

All males whether they are Chinese, Black, White, Brown, have the ability to have a high sex drive depending on enviornmental factors and how they care for thier bodies like diet, exercise, health, etc.

The Hebrew women were not more fertile than the Egyptian women, because at that time, they were both ethnic people. That was the excuse that the Egytian women (nurses) gave to the pharaoh because he went to them secretly and told them to kill the male babies at birth. So the Egyptian women did not want to do it, and therefore they told that evil pharaoh that the women were 'lively' and gave birth before they were able to do anything.

That particular pharaoh was AMENHOTEP II and when he was 9 years old, his father, Thutmosis III took him around the city and hacked out all of Hapshepsut's names on monuments because he came to loathe the Original Egyptian women and so, he taught his son from a Black Egyptian Queen, the Dowager, to hate Black Egyptian women too, and of course the Hebrew women as well. Thutmosis III and Amenhotep II suppressed the Black Egyptian women and brought in THOUSANDS OF MITANIAN WOMEN in their Egyptian court and elevated them to be queens in Egypt. He came to hate his own mother! And all of this is well documented in fine arts museums all over the world. So, this is one Black government that soon became infiltrated due to the actions of Black men! LOL!

Amenhotep II later banned his own daughter, Bithia, [i.e. Tabitha] and sent her packing to be with the Hebrews and she later married a Hebrew man from the tribe of Judah and have 4 sons, all of which are listed in the Bible.

I believe that AFrican people do express certain attributes with regard to energy, muscle rhythm, voice tone, etc, but this has nothing to do with sex drive.

And how did Black men become oppressed anyway, by White Supremacy!?

It wasn't because Black men were physically overpowered by White humans, however, it had to do with irresponsible sex behaviors and not being respoinsible for the women they were having sex with. The matriarchal government set up due to a lot of angry women, both Black and White that did not like being suppressed under a harem system and dominated due to this kind of irresponsible behavior of the earlier Black kings.

There are a lot of stories of queens killing the kings and pharaohs for passing over their sons for another woman's son. LOL.

    They are Uber drivers here.🤣

Have you ever got in a taxi or uber with an African driver?

    Sheiit...

Maybe they are not all crazed drivers, but uh, I had one experience too many when I jumped in a cab at the airport. That man drove extremely reckless while holding his phone and watching the GPS. I was told that they try to drive fast to get back to a detination point to get as many jobs as possible.
