It was a complicated situation for Chris. He was obviously caught off guard. He was hosting the Oscar’s and he was probably scared. No one really knows how they would react in that situation. So i can’t be too critical of Chris’s reaction. i know when i saw the slap it made me angry. Usually i could care less about celebrity dysfunction. But i loss a lot of respect for will that’s night. Will did not make Chris respect his wife. You apparently have not seen his recent stand up.😂

Where did you get the information? please show me the original source. Can you do that? Weighted averages without understanding the data willing likely lead to faulty conclusions.

Instead of limiting your knowledge to the search engine results page , go to the underlying website and see where they got their information. What is the original source of the data? You are so fixated on IQ What is your IQ? that isn’t what I’m arguing against. I pose the same question to you that i posed to teal1 what is the source of your information— let’s start there.

@real1 all caps do not strengthen your argument. When I asked for a source I mean the original source you linked to a site that got data supposedly from some other source,. What is the original source? I know you did not attempt to find it because if you did you’d learn that site made up the numbers and here you are quoting lies. But those lies support your racism so you run with them.

I was listening to the Hidden Brain podcast and they discussed the unconscious (implicit) biases we all hold. People may consciously reject bias against Black people, but when they take a test that measures their unconscious bias the truth comes out. This problem was exacerbated by the monopolies that dominate the internet. Look at what Google has done to search... Ads affect what is discoverable, what content is created, and how that content is written and it has made what we read on the web crappier and less useful. Right now I'm finding ChatGPT to be more useful than Google for getting information it may not have real-time information, and it may spit out incorrect information, but it is not bombarded by advertisements or biased by content crafted to rank in Google's search results. I've made a few posts on TikTok and the views on TikTok have been FAR greater than what I have seen on YouTube for the exact same videos. You can see two video posted on YouTube were viewed 33 times and the same two videos on TikTok were viewed 689 times. Google in an attempt to compete with TiKTok is now highlighting short videos. You can also see from the image below an 8-second video I posted a couple of months ago has almost 27K views. The first 24,000 views came within the first 24 hours! I wasn't even trying to get views I just wanted to show other people I knew the video, In my opinion, TikTok is at the stage Facebook was when it first started. You could go on Facebook and grow an audience organically (with effort but for free). Once you created an audience and uploaded a boatload of content then Facebook flipped a switched and swapped organic reach for paid reach. Facebook's paid reach was never as good as its organic reach was. That was why the main reason I no longer work Facebook's platforms. TikTok will probably go down that road too. The real question is will TikTok help raise AALBC's profile and get more people to visit and engage on the website? That is all I really care about.

@Pioneer1 racism is an ugly and unfortunate mental disorder. It has weakened our country. A couple of months ago I considered driving to Mexico City. The drive actually takes less time than a drive to New York City, which I have done dozens of times. I decided against it for a variety of reasons. Butt jobs are pretty common, perhaps more common than you realize, as people who get them often don't broadcast this. Boob jobs are probably more common. American women are under a great deal of pressure to have their bodies conform to some ideal. I also believe many men are taught to believe this ideal is desirable too. I don't think any of this is innate. It is all market-driven.

You already know how I feel about the artificial concept of race. Where did you get the information about the relative testosterone levels between the so-called races? White racists use information like you are sharing to "prove" Black people are closer to animals than to men as opposed to being superior men.

@jollyrogers that is an interesting post, and one that is hard to believe. If you did not write you were a 6-foot-tall white guy I would have assumed you were a dark-skinned Black man, a gay man, or a Brother with a white girl on his arm 🙂 I've never read any account of a tall white guy being harassed on a regular basis. Tall white guys lived a charmed life in this country -- phenotypically speaking you have it made -- globally! Maybe there is something else going on with your appearance. Do you regularly sport a red MAGA cap?

The guy who got smacked for sexually assaulting Will got what he deserved and behaved accordingly.. Johnson is a common name. My apartment complex was named after James Weldon Johnson, and was build a few years after he died. When I came up my project inhabitants were mostly Black. After all the white folks left things went downhill. Things are better there today, but not nearly as nice as they were during their prime.

@real1 a correlation between IQ and job success and resulting higher incomes is not surprising -- any more than the correlation of coordination with success in sports. This is an asinine statement. Besides the fact that there is only one human race of people, looking at that single data point in isolation is meaningless. The second article that ranks countries by their average IQs is questionable and best. Where is the source of the data? What methodology was used to determine the country's average IQ scores? The site says Nepal's average IQ score is 42.99?! On its face that is absurd -- the would be a country of mentally retarder people with an average score about as low as you can get. That does not make sense. Find the source data that says the country of Nepal has an average IQ of 43.

The people of Black Wall Street did try to defend themselves. From the moment Dick Rowland was arrested Black people fought back. Black service men marched to the court house and saved Rowland from a likely lynching. I lived there and learned quite a bit about the event while there. i did not say you did, but clearly you were implying that they were violent and had a culture that lasted a long time. they were not violent, in that they they not try to burn down the white community, but they used violence to defend themselves as best they could but they were out numbered and outgunned. If violence were actually a viable option for us, we would not need to use it. Violence is a primitive tactic used by dumb, short sighted thugs. All the violence in the world did not keep Black people from being freed, obtaining rights, and enjoying liberties. Violence is not what is holding us back today. We need to achieve some semblance of unity. We also have to be willing to sacrifice some time, energy, and money then rally those resources to develop strategies for our common good. Umoja is the first principal of Kwanzaa for a reason.

I did not listen to Umar, but sure images of non-dysfunctional, cis gender heterosexual Black men paired with a Black woman are marginalized by the media. What else is new? This does not mean i don’t want images of strong Black women shown, or take it as a threat. It would be nice to see more balance, but i don’t expect anyone to do it for us.

I have not seen a Creed movie yet. I heard this is the first Rocky film without Stallone. I’m go back and watch the originals then check this one out. In Philly there is a statue of Rocky, but world champ Smokin’ Joe has faded into obscurity. I was driving down Broad street in Philly and saw Joe Fraser walking down the street Given Jose` also had a son who boxed, I guess her is the original creed 🙂
