A 99.96% suvival rate works out to be a 0.04% death rate or 4 deaths for every 10,000 who contract the disease. It occurred to me that Alexa a metric I use in ranking the Top Black Owned Websites is owned by Amazon. They have their greedy little mitts in everything 😞 While not the best metric to evaluate a site it is one of the metrics that I use to evaluate the relative strengths of websites for my list. I have now dropped the links to Alexa and am sourcing the data from a 3rd party, SEOquake. Check out some cool indie Black-owned websites while you are there. I have updated the algorithm and some new sites have not made the top 50.

Reading the article, you quoted from, was frustrating because it was laced with opinions and conjecture. I went back to the top of it a realized it was not reporting, but an opinion piece. The actual news was far less inflamatory. Again you are trying to make seem like every white police officer wants to start a race war. This is just some guy, hiding behind a fake identity, making dumb comments on social media. How come all of your example are of officers falling over themselves apologizing. Can't you find anyone who will stand by their statements? It would be interesting to know who sold him out and why.

I might be inclined to believe you, but prior to the advent of social media. Getting participation from women was not a problem. Besides prior to the Amazon ban, I did virtually no moderation. That said I do believe participation would be higher with a Black female face and leadership. In fact, I believe AALBC would also do better if I were female. Most of the previously successful indie book sites were/are led by women. I'm actually gonna start looking for a Black female bookseller to work with me. But the type of extremism is just as bad as people who refuse to wear a mask. Municipalities have hard decisions to make considering lives and livelihoods. @Delano that video was interesting and beautiful. Fortunately tornadoes do not often hit populated areas. I did look at one apartment complex which boasted a tornado shelter. One of the appealing things about that part of the country, indeed much of the US is it's beauty. I know a lot of people who run outside the country and never appreciate the magnificent landscapes this country has to offer.

I know a lot of people who are buying guns, own them, or considering buying one (I was one if those). Then I thought about it, and concluded it is a really bad idea. We've been manipulated into thinging it is a good idea... a rather sad state of affairs.
