Publishing a book is relatively easy part. Writing a good one and selling it is the difficult part.

@Pioneer1 again what you never seem to understand is that race is a purely social construct. In their day both men were Black -- accept it. The one drop rule fell out of favor and people began to define race in the terms that you understand it today. Because as it turns out many so called white people, too many, were just like Homer. In 2020 there is no race. In 2060 there can be a race is people whose to create them. Race is a term whose time has long past. I wish we would dispense with it.

The public knows this and some may even agree with him even though they have enough sense to keep that though to themselves. The problem is our biased media. Trump is a media creation they covered his campaign 24/7 ignoring more serious candidates -- solely for ratings. Now they chase after every thing trump dangles in front of them even covering every innate tweet. The media is biased -- they will do anything for ratings. Trump's chances of winning are even stronger than 2016. Thanks media.

I think we look at unity differently. I would like to see us unified on a global level -- yeah I know we'll never see this, but I think it is a worthy goal. It would allow us to deal more effectively with things that effect all of us like climate change. Unity within the Black community would be a natural consequence of unity across all of humanity. When you described Caucasians of different ethnic backgrounds "unifying" to oppress Black people, I don't see that as unification, rather I see it is the definition of disunity Italians/Irish/Jewish against Black people.

Butler's novel, which I first read last year, has found a new audience given it's dystopian future of America. I'm not aware of a Black-owned ebook publisher, same goes for audiobooks. I'm not saying there are not any -- I'm just not aware of them. If you learn of any please share. If there is a Black-owned platform that sells a large list of titles, can be easily integrated with AALBC, used DRM, and available on a wide variety of platforms I would adopt it tomorrow. For ebook sales I use Hummingbird: hummingbirddm.com/ for audiobooks I use Libro.fm. You can see examples of how I refer sales of ebook and audiobooks on the page I have for Parable of the Sower. Of course I sell the physical books directly.
