Why does Black America insist on literally following the path of self-destruction when so many other options to achieving its highest heights are available? For more than 160 years, Black America has suffered tremendously under Democrat and liberal leadership and rule, and it just doesn’t seem to get the message that it’s digging its own grave. It doesn’t understand that the political party that it has been so loyal to without question and the people who run it, are trying to bury it without a care in the world.

 

Why do Democrats, liberals and the left:

-- Literally hate Republicans, conservatives and the right (i.e., not the far right)?
-- Persistently gaslight their political constituents and their base?
-- Work so hard to prevent their supporters from considering alternative political views?
-- Lash out violently when people express views that they disagree with?
-- Deceive the masses through state-sponsored propaganda?
-- Try to prevent people from learning facts that are based on truth?
-- Use race to divide society instead of common ground to build it up?
-- Falsely accuse others of doing bad things they are in fact guilty of doing themselves?
-- Pander to Black Americans and other minority groups for votes every election cycle?
-- Do everything possible to separate the haves from the have-nots?
-- Feel the urge to attack when they know they are going to lose?

 

And this list goes on and on and on.

You you've been here for years; you should know that most of the regular posters here are not just one thing.  We may be conservative on some issues and liberal on others.

 

We don't do any of the things that you've listed.  However, you are guilty of a few. Most recently "Try to prevent people from learning facts that are based on truth." Your recent post saying that the democratic party of 150 years ago is same one today.  Why did you do you expect that argument to work on us, or anyone with a high school education?

 

We pointed out the obvious flaw in your argument.  You reacted by doubling down saying that the parties have not changed?!

 

Look, you are not dealing with ignorant children we recognize that both parties have flaws and the Black people have not been truly served by either any political party since the founding of this nation.  

 

Now given the choice of the Presidential candidates Harris and Trump, the best choice is clearly Harris -- regardless of your so-called race. Both are flawed but one is profoundly flawed -- a global embarrassment as our Nation's leader.

 

Unfortunately, the Republication party under Trump's control has become a trainwreck.  No one reasonable hates republicans -- just because they are republican.  Some here may hate Trump, but he is just one man.  I liked the way Mike Pence stood up to Trump when it mattered most. 

 

There are righteous Republican and Democratic politicians, in Congress, trying to do the right thing for the American people, but the divisions and the resulting dysfunction is making it difficult to accomplish anything productive.

 

Your posts attempt to fuel this division.  Perhaps increasing division is your goal, but to what end?

Black folks have suffered under the system of racism white supremacy for more than 400 years and counting.

This country was built on racism. Impossible to get around an incontrovertible fact because it is ongoing.

 

Politicians on both sides of the aisle pander to the Black vote. Not Asian or Hispanic or other. They specifically want to know what they can do to get the Black vote.

 

Black folks should not pledge allegiance to either political party. We need to define our interests and support politicians who can deliver on them.

 

Black folks need to 1) form our own political party and 2) get something tangible for our vote.

As a member of the generation who  actually lived through and participated in past history, my response is to the "Johnny-come- latelys" like nels, hindered by their tunnel vision, spouting all of their second-hand information which does not span the big picture.

 

Black progress has been made and was not accomplished alone. Much of it began during Democratic President Franklin D. Roosevelt's administration within the halls of the non-discriminatory Civil Service department, where ANYBODY who passed an exam was eligible for federal employment which at that time also included the Post Office. Democratic president Harry S. Truman desegregated the armed forces.

There were also organizations like the NAACP, The Urban League, and last but not least, the Civil Rights movement, all of which wouldn't have gone far without the help and financial assistance of white people of good will!

The much-maligned liberal media is who aired Martin's and Malcolm's  grievances. catapulting  them into the national spotlight that proved beneficial to them.

LBJ, who was a  product of his southern origins, put aside his past and, with MLK looking over his shoulder, signed the civil rights bill.

Jewish philanthropists and white corporations also funneled large sums of money into negro causes and colleges during those times. 

But others with ulterior motives want to put their spin on the situation when, in truth, blacks have not been the complete dupes of political parties.

In a perfect world, things would be perfect but in the real world, Life don't give a damn about niggas, and  since Jesus ain't stepped up, black folks need to look in the mirror and consider who really deserves the blame for their race not achieving its secret wish to control America and enforce black supremacy. 

 Some consideration should also be given to the fact that, as individuals, blacks are at their best, and that the black middleclass hasn't done bad for itself, either.

But, of course, this mindset does not jibe with the myopia of the visionaries who dream the impossible dream

Black folks have never wanted to control America nor has Black supremacy been codified.

Well, if Africa is any indication of Black folks being in control and superiority, we can clearly see how it looks.

 

Black folks aren't a monolithic group. We have many tribes amongst us.

 

Unfortunately, Black folks do not have a level of communication and unification among our people to break the chains of racism white supremacy.

 

Regardless of the Black tribes and who’s speaking for it, that system definitely affects each and every last one of us throughout the planet.

 

I realize it's easier to find a relatively safe spot on the prison yard and chill or be given just enough crumbs to feel a sense of freedom.

 

The smoke snd mirrors provide the illusion of inclusion. The reality is that here in 2024, Black folks still aren't totally free from the system of racism white supremacy.

 

There's no good reason why we as people  shouldn't live under a system of justice.

I support people coming on and saying what they want to say as long as they aren't threatening to harm other, however I had been wondering exactly what Nels' intentions are with some of the shit he posts...lol.
