Professor Louis Gates Jr. is a historian and Black intellectual.  Seems that between teaching and ancestry peddling, he's found his path to prosperity.  There may not be enough of an incentive for him to dig into the dysfunctional aspect of Black folks.

Some years back during the Obama Administration when a cop brutalized him for allegedly breaking in HIS OWN HOUSE, Obama's solution to the problem was for him and the cop and Gates to all sit down together and have a damn beer and talk about it.

That told some people everything they needed to know about how effective Obama would be in dismantling the system of Racism.

Unless you're talking about another speech he made I think the paraphrased words were there were no Red States or Blue States....only the United States.

I was close though.
I do remember him mentioning red states and blue states vs the United States.

I also remember some talking pundits declaring him a "rising star" in the Democratic Party and advising everyone to keep their eyes on him after he gave that speech.


Man it's something else how time flies........lol.
Seem like it was just last year when we were wondering COULD he be the first.....Blackish....President...lol.
