Cynique
He's talking about confrontations between the racists thugs who support him and all the delegates who are against him. Riots are a definite possibility after the elections in November and this country might erupt into a mini-civil war.
Troy
The likelihood of a Trump presidency seems to be increasing every day. I doubt there will be a civil war, by the time it happens people will probably be happy with the decision--especially if there is another terrorist attract on American soil. Pioneer1
CyniqueRiots are a definite possibility after the elections in November and this country might erupt into a mini-civil war. You may be right. Many people who were around to remember are saying that they're feeling the same electrifying "spirit" that saturated the politically turbulent 60s and early 70s. Infact, regardless as to who gets in office.... I predict that perhaps one of the biggest conflicts will be over attempts to suppress and miss count the Black and Brown vote. Cynique
Plus we have this Supreme Court situation.which if it doesn't get resolved could very well be deadlocked if it has to be called on to name a candidate the way it was when the conservatives prevailed and put George Bush in office over Al Gore after the vote irregularities. If one candidates wins the popular vote and the other one wins the electoral vote, things could really get explosive. There are some rough times ahead and i think American Muslims can look forward to things getting worse rather than better for them because no matter what high ground leaders may take, the average American really does regard Arabs suspiciously and with the "if you see something, say something" call to action, and the acceleration of terrorist attacks, Muslim citizens will become scapegoats.
