  1. OCCULTATION of 2018 https://commons.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?curid=459438 In this July 1997 still frame captured from video, the bright star Aldebaran has just reappeared on the dark limb of the waning crescent moon in this predawn occultation. Well, there are many types of occultations and in respect to astronomy, there are also many. However, in respect to our moon and earth, there were four and as usual, most of these types of ‘eclipses’ occultation occurs in a sequence. They occur in a series and for this year there were actually two series of which one included a ‘super blue blood moon’ on January 31, 2018. But the most interesting series of eclipses for me began in July 2018: [1] FRIDAY 13th, July, 2018 --- There was a PARTIAL SOLAR ECLIPSE ---------- that took place over the Pacific Ocean and Indian Ocean [2] July 27, 2018 --- There was a TOTAL LUNAR ECLIPSE ---------- that took place over Ethiopia mainly but also over East Africa, South Africa, ---------- Central Asia, etc. It lasted for three (3) hours over Ethiopia. [3] August 11, 2018 --- There was a PARTIAL SOLAR ECLIPSE ---------- that took place over North Europe, East Europe, North Asia, East Asia and etc. Because the TOTAL LUNAR ECLIPSE lasted for so long and has been concluded to be the longest lunar eclipse of the century, I believe it did have a significant affect in other happenings. I believe too, that this series of eclipses had something to do with the major earthquake that occurred in Indonesia on AUGUST 5, 2018 and also, the later underwater earthquake and massive tsunami that occurred over there recently. But most of all, I believe that many of the natural catastrophic events we are now experiencing and the start of these alignments in our solar system began last year as a result of THE GREAT AMERICAN TOTAL SOLAR ECLIPSE on AUGUST 21, 2017, that crossed over our continent during the space of about three (3) hours. Immediately afterwards, at least three or four hurricanes formed, one of which became hurricane Harvey that struck Houston, Texas, and the other was hurricane Irma that struck Puerto Rico hard and brought in the Red Tides in Florida. Now, we have just experienced a category 4 hurricane Michael that struck the Florida Panhandle and this system brought another episode of Red Tide back into Florida. My prayers are with the people suffering as a result of these catastrophes in that they will be restored and that our government will help our humanity in the right way. Because historically, in the past and due to Occultist, ancient governments have been known to severely persecute certain people as a result of eclipses and blame the poor and oppress for these celestial events. Century’s longest lunar eclipse July 27 By Bruce McClure in TONIGHT/ July 27, 2018 http://earthsky.org/tonight/centurys-longest-lunar-eclipse-july-27 This lunar eclipse coincided with Mars being nearly as close as possible to Earth, a concurrence that happens once every 25,000 years. [6] https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/July_2018_lunar_eclipse What Is an Occultation? By Elizabeth Howell, Space.com Contributor / September 1, 2016 11:09pm ET In space, an occultation happens when one object passes in front of another from an observer’s perspective. A simple example is a solar eclipse. From a certain area on Earth, the moon passes in front of the sun and either partially or totally blocks the light. So we can say that the sun is “eclipsed” or “occulted.” A lunar eclipse is another example of an occultation, but the description is a little more complicated. https://www.space.com/33946-occultations.html Occultation of Jupiter and Saturn https://www.cloudynights.com/topic/564457-is-this-double-occultation-of-jupiter-and-saturn-for-real/
  2. @Troy It still reminds me of what happened to the trial that surrounded the killing of the young fellow, Emmit Till. White women like the ones who voted for Trump over Hilary, and their explanation seems to say that they did to have 'the Great White Man' protect them from Blacks'. So, that 'self interest' is still about 'race and gender' to me. WOW! Thank you. I just looked this up. Some people don't seem to think before they act. Cornerstor Caroline probably thought she was doing the right thing!-- But the trouble is that if there was no camera surveilliance that could have been reproduced, she would have destroyed that child's life, his mother's life and that young white girl too. He would have been dealing with his school peers, and many times the relatives would not have supported the mother. Caroline did not apologize to the mother because, in her words, the mother should have walked away. She really attacked that mother too. And the young white girl that became involved--well, she would have been completely done in by many White people for her courage.
  3. Yes Australia has had a colonial sad past, were the indigenous were exterminated by force by the then British colonial powers and then bred out by their offspring's when it became unacceptable to shoot them on the spot which ended in the late 60s at the end of white Australia policy. Even today there are farms with unexplained 150 year old mass graves, and now when they are found they are acknowledged for what happen to them all those years ago. I have live in Australia for 16 years and have never been called the N word or the equivalent which was the case in the UK when I lived there. You go to Melbourne or Sydney, non whites are the majority, though they have some way to go, I can truly say the government here are bending over backwards to put things right with the indigenous people and its colonial past. You can find out more in my book " Legacy and truth" on Amazon https://www.amazon.com.au/legacy-truth-Floyd-Collins-ebook/dp/B07B78Q78W/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1529585557&sr=8-2&keywords=legacy+and+truth Offcourse any race can become an citizen here ( I am one of them ) as long as you meet the requirements namely a clean criminal record which is ironic given its convict past. There are many African Americans here with citizenship.

  5. Are black people allowed to become Australian citizens? Didn't Australia used to place restrictions of black people desiring to immigrate to their country? White women in America come in 2 variations. Those who look down on and fear black males and those who don't. The first type are invariably Republican women of the ilk who voted against Hillary Clinton. They are a deplorable group.
  6. @Floyd Collins, that is probably because Europeans essentially eradicated the indigenousness populations and collectively make up better than 85% of the population today. Black people are a small minority. There are probably more Black people in Detroit than there are in all of Australia. In other words, White Australians are not threatened by Black people on any level. It is not because the white folks in Australia are more civilized, just more effective in establishing and maintaining their dominance. It is not a uniquely American problem. You can read stories about this type of xenophobia fueled racism, in places like Germany and France. Great Britain is certainly not immune to this either. Another poster @Delano lives in Australia too.

There is nothing 'clearly" clear about this sentence but i repeat, Donald Trump is the laughing stock of the world and so is America for electing him POTUS. You may consider this irrelevant, but i don't. My statement has nothing to do with Republicans. But it has something to with "disservice", and my point was that anything that is pictured in a bad light by the media can be considered a disservice by whomever it targets. That doesn't mean that facts are better left unsaid. i don't think what Kanye says is taken seriously enough for detractors to use his words against black people. Everybody knows he's a nut-case.
  8. People are evil and stupid. Some racist in Detroit fired his shotgun at a 14 year old kid who knocked on his door looking for directions. The guy lied and saying he tripped causing him to accidently shoot at the kid. However his own security camera showed the truth. Fortunately this low life will likely go to prison.
  9. @Delano, ok, techically you are right. But seriously man, how was anyone supposed what you were talking about? You turned the conversation to the issue of race back in September and conversation has continued along the thread ever since. Perhaps a bit more of an introduction to your links would be helpful in avoiding confusion in these situations. @Chevdove you've lost me. Hiwever, the bottom line is that white folks have, throughtout history, have perpetrated great evils against other white people. White people have never been at a loss to find a rationale for hating each other. Sometimes it is religion other times it is just a line in the sand. What we know as racism is just another mechanism. Racism is not nearly as old however as you suggest. Racism was a recent concoction to justify the perpetual enslavement of Africans -- essentially equating us with animals. Educated people always knew better, but up until the last 100 years, or so, most people were not educated, so this fraud of race was easily spread. The stupidity persists because there are beneficaries and so many people are poorly educated. So while racism is indeed a problem, the state of our educational system -- for the reasons just described -- is a more serious problem. You are not going to end racism by converting racists to rational humans. They need to die out. We just cant keep crearing new racists...
