  2. The difficulty lies in the fact that the person doesn't want to lose weight badly enough. 😉 Let a doctor tell that same person that losing weight is a matter of life or death. Watch how much free will and will power they manage to muster.🤣 The downside to weight loss alternatives (surgeries and medication) is that because it doesn't require much in the way of will power, many of those same folks end up gaining weight again. 😁 Same goes for lottery winners. Many of them end up broke because their free will and will power is broken.😎
  3. I cannot see existence without influences known and unknown....that is the default setting of human existence Our senses mental and physical bodies are organs design to seek out and to understand our situation and environment. Maybe we should define what we mean or think free will means Free Will is the ability to decide or choose among a given set of Options...Instinctive Reaction or Intellectual Response. Real Free Will is the ability to Create Options - Divine Discontent....Intuition True Free will is the Ability to achieve a Desired Out Come - Divine Volition...Not My will but thy will
  4. Yes @richardmurray. The free download just ended (Hawaiian time). A lot of people took advantage of the free download, including myself. I’m curious to see the utility of a children’s audiobook…
  5. Hopefully, everyone enjoyed Juneteenth however they chose to celebrate it.😎
  6. The information is wrong your ascendant can't be 347 which is pisces . It is Gemini. Being born at 9 am is roughly 45 degrees. Assuming sunrise of 6 am. April 8 would be about 18 degree of Aries. 18+45=63 which is 3 Gemini . That's in my head. Your ascendant is actually 18 Gemini I am off by 15 degrees because I didn't use Daylight Saving Time. Every hours is roughly 15 degrees. Although this varies by sign and time of year. I have a few steps in converting a word into time. I also have three different sets that I use. Not one of these can be figured out. I did know one Astrologer who had the same idea but he couldn't get it to work. It worked for me because the a gre steps popped into my head. Timing events is notoriously difficult in Astrology except for me. Although it took me about 7 years to figure it out. I have a few steps in converting a word into time. Our joy building resilience and resistance through art. Be it by Arkestra or Mothership Connection, the stars are ours. The stars are our destiny.” — Maurice Broaddus “It’s invigorating to see the evolution of Black speculative fiction today, thanks to the ventures of publishers like Milton Davis at MV Media LLC. I am thrilled to engage with the African community once more, together with those in the diaspora, in stimulating stories. We trust our readers and the curiosity of critics out there to bolster the success and visibility of this Spacefunk anthology.” — Eugen Bacon "When I heard about this project, I couldn't wait to jump on it! Spacefunk gave me the opportunity to stretch my creative muscles and explore a genre that I've been intrigued by for a while now while imagining a future full of afros, aliens, and great music!" — Jessica Cage “My imagination is ignited by real facts, so I began working on my piece for the Spacefunk anthology by my longtime friend Milton by searching for connections between Africa and the stars. One thing that heavily flavored my poem, Space Children Dream of the Last Place, was the Dogon people of Mali. They have an old legend that fishlike creatures from the star Sirius came to Africa some 5,000 years ago and shared many details, including the existence of a second smaller star, invisible to the naked eye. The fact is Sirius B wasn't discovered by European astronomers until 1862.” — Linda D. Addison “I'm excited to be part of this project that brings visions of people from Africa and the African diaspora out in the star-bedazzled velvet blackness of space, searching for meaning, for adventure, for survival, for wonder, for joy. And I can't wait to read these stories.” — Wole Talabi Join the Movement: Support the Spacefunk! Anthology Kickstarter and become part of a groundbreaking celebration of Black speculative fiction.
