Sign of the times. Best Buy will no longer sell CDs and DVDs. Print (books, magazines, newspapers) and and physical media (CDs, DVDs, vinyl, tape) will continue to disappear r as we continue to produce digitally and rely on download, streaming and cloud services. IMO, brick and mortar businesses will only survive if they add value and provide an experience to the community. Cross-collateralize products and services. For example, in order to increase foot traffic, a future brick and mortar bookstore might have to bring in live entertainment and sell food and beverages too.😎

Most people like to hang out in popular spaces whether in the real world or virtual. Same goes for consumption of things whether it's music, books, movies, clothes, shoes, cars, etc. It's has little or nothing to do with quality of content moreso than mental accessibility. Again, many people like to be in the crowd. Anything that requires a deeper dive or heavier lift mentally will be an acquired taste from an engagement or participation perspective. However, make content simple and plain or crass and vulgar; folks will eat it up like McDonald's food. Cheap entertainment. Brotha @Troy, stay the course. Most politicians are self-serving and only looking to enrich themselves and their friends. They don't really give a d8mn about their constituents. It's all about money. Facts. The sooner Black folks realize we have no friends among non-white folks we can close ranks among ourselves and get on code and take better care of each other. My disappointment with Africa is two-fold: 1) Africans continue allowing non-white folks to exploit the continent. 2) Africans flee their homeland to live in white countries instead of developing their own land. Israel is just an example of how the system of racism white supremacy benefits its true allies. As the US base of operations in the Middle East, the US has been giving Israel military equipment and about $5 billon dollars per year over several decades. Yet, reparations for AfroAmericans is a non-starter. History is great for knowing where came from and how we got here but it doesn't solve anything. AfroAmericans need tangibles. Israel is proof that it can be done. Cut the checks.😎

Hopefully her lawyers can apppeal and get probation especially considering folks aren't normally sentenced to prison for a misdemeanor. Corman did exactly what an artist is supposed to do...deliver the art (painting, drawing, music, film, etc.) anyway. If an artist is trying to eat i.e. get paid...they try to produce artwork that will sell. Commercialism puts food on the table. Otherwise, artists should produce whatever they're inspired to do. The artist has to understand and accept that only a certain audience might appreciate it. There's no shortage of art that wasn't appreciated until long after the artist created it. It happens a lot with music.😎

There's legal and illegal prostitution. S8x trafficking is an abomination and the worst form of prostitution because the victims have zero rights. Most folks regardless of their religious beliefs don't have a problem with legal prostitution i.e. consensual relationships based on money (dates and marriages). Prostitution is against the law in most states because it a way to 1) enforce morality and 2) generate revenues by handing out citations, locking people, court cases, etc. Prostitution is frowned upon by the 1) morally righteous and 2) folks who want to keep tricks to themselves. The reality is that the oldest profession isn't going anywhere. It is a huge part of the global economy.😎

Rich or well-off people do rob (steal) from others in order to have more money. They're called white collar criminals. Bernie Madoff was one of the most notorious. True that. For better and worse, we live in a capitalistic society where everything is predicated on having enough money to afford it.
