How do you define intelligence? How does one gain wisdom? A whole lot of women are classy. Just a matter of being in the *right* environment. Trailer park mentality would be the white version of it.

Ownership means content control. We don't have to use it negatively. The face of BET ownership was a black man but the investors behind the scenes were not Black. Once BET was sold to Viacom, content programming went off the rails. They served up a whole bunch of mental junk food. McDonald's for the brain. Look no further than the sh8t owned by Oprah and Tyler Fairy, er, Perry. Straight garbage. White folks aren't in the same predicament. Regardless of which way the political winds blow, white folks are comfortable being [insert class here] because as long as they're white...they believe they're better than non-white folks and therefore can't *lose*. OTOH, Black folks regardless of class can be marginalized or wiped out completely. Other non-white folks are fine with white folks controlling power and money. Those people try to blend in and stay low. Some non-whites consider themselves white or white-adjacent. They are just as anti-Black as white folks too.

That gives Democrats enough time to get their messaging right and field strong candidates, charismatic and capable enough to carry and deliver it.

The people who work for government definitely know what it means especially when they're sitting home or going to work and not getting paid. The average American doesn't have a strong knowledge of US government or Civics. It's supposed to provide checks and balances and prevent fraud, waste and abuse. No shortage of books on the subject. Hopefully, the people most adversely affected by the shutdown, losing paychecks, SNAP benefits, rising prices and goofy Republican policies and actions, will remember all of it during the midterms and 2028. Even without offering any policies or solutions, Democrats should be able to sweep the House, Senate and national elections if people are truly bent outta shape. I'm willing to bet short attention spans and entrenched racism will make those same Republican voters and non-voters alike stay the course.

As @Troy alluded, those are negative emotions. Usually points to deeper issues within that individual. People don't make the best decisions based on their emotions. Jealousy and insecurity are not traits that enable a man to provide for and protect his woman, children, family, village, etc. A man should have the mental and physical abilities to handle his business. No time for jealousy and insecurity. In fact, a strong man (mentally & physically) doesn't have to worry about his woman leaving and/or another man testing him. A strong man can easily find another woman. They are attracted to him.

Black folks need to own whatever forms of technology that reaches the most people quickly. Black folks don't have to use technology in the negative ways that greedy people do. we definitely need it. White folks control power, money and technology. Black folks are dependent and defenseless. Not a great position.

Oracle, owned by billionaire Larry Ellison will own a huge stake in TikTok. He also just bought Paramount. That means he has control over them. The best way to control information and content is to own it. Instead of starting a network or social media company or app, just buy one of the most popular existing companies. It would be awesome if Black folks could have made such power moves.

The shutdown was an example of them going by the rules. No appropriations...no money. Congress passed a law agreeing to provide stimulus checks. There are contingency funds and multi-year funds built into certain appropriations. Those funds were already appropriated for foreign aid. There is no confusion among the lawmakers who control appropriations. The definition above says it all. The government has already defined essential and non-essential services and functions as well.

Right. A man should be secure enough within himself and be able to decern that foolishness. That's another question for a whole thread. Bottom line is most men don't have grown azz sons living with them. Otherwise, it would be too much of a reminder that he failed as a parent. That's made for TV dysfunctional sh8t. Classy women don't entertain those situations.

Right. Nobody can take the distinction of being the 1st Black unpaid councilman away from him. The questions are 1) do Russians care about him today and 2) will Russians remember him 50 years from now.

Jean Sagbo's name won't appear on too much of anything in Russia. The unpaid councilman may not even get added to Russian history books.

There are several reasons that people choose not to be out with their lifestyle. Could be anything from how they were raised to public perception to privacy. Some folks do not want to be judged for how they choose to live. Especially with so many religious folks running around. We cannot rule out that possibility as asexual is included in LGBTQIA+. Either way, they are card carrying members of the alphabet soup community.

Right. In the literal sense, the US government does not run out of money. However, there are laws for everything in the US including how money is appropriated. Read up on appropriations law if/when you are not chasing that snatchbox.

Detroit might have come up at some point after testing in DC, Chicago and Memphis. Sure. Folks are smart enough to chill out until the dust settles. No different from someone stomping out a cigarette or weed when authority figures show up. Not really. 30 days isn't long enough for permanent change. Folks will go back to business as usual. The real question is why can't the local police instill the same level of fear.

It is not my style here to call folks out. Of course, the government continues the most essential services. There are contingency funds for those things. However, if/when there is a lapse in appropriations (no money), used to fund a fiscal year, the government shuts down non-essential services. That's why national parks, museums, museums and other federal facilities will close during a shutdown. The money that goes into SNAP benefits is included in the appropriation. Without it, benefits cannot be paid. POTUS has to sign the budget (appropriations) every year by October 1st. If a budget or CR (Continuing Resolution) is not signed, there is a government shutdown. That is your Cliff Notes US Government lesson.

Think Oprah Winfrey and Gayle King or Senators Lindsey Graham and Corey Booker. Mayor Bowser adopted a child a few years ago. There is a woman who has always been around her too. They don't broadcast her s8xuality. She doesn't either for the most part. Gotta read between the lines i.e. her moves.

Beyond appropriations law and all that stuff taught in US Government classes...it is definitely a game. Right. In order order to play most games, there must be at least two teams or opponents.

The stunts were mainly done to satisfy racist white folks in rural America. ICE raids and National Guard troop deployment in major Black cities made white folks feel like law and order was being restored in their country. Funny thing is white folks living in Blue cities were not adversely affected by crimes there. Just like anywhere else in the USA, the victims and perpetrators of crime are usually of the same race. I find it amusing that folks can mind somebody else's business instead of cleaning up their own backyard. White folks living in red states have crystal meth drug addicts with teeth falling out and living on SNAP benefits. NO shortage of crime there. But, white folks are more worried about Black folks shooting each other in major cities.

Mayor Muriel Bowser is a cutie pie for sure. As a member of the alphabet soup community, she would be more interested in the woman standing next to her than any man.

i acknowledged that Abram Gannibal was stolen from Africa. Raised by Peter the Great. His historical significance to Russia was in the 1700s. There are dozens of Black historical figures here in the USA. The 20th century began in 1900. Jean Sagbo (1959-2024) is the only *Russian* mentioned above who was born in the 20th century. I still maintain that Sagbo was not a figure of historical significance. IOW, there was nothing Malcolm X or Martin Luther King Jr. or Barack Obama about him. Not even close.
