  1. @Pioneer1, you know from the teachings of NF Jr. that there are certain things that aren't worth discussing. If a subject is not about solving problems, it might lead to a non-constructive argument. Politics, religion and conspiracy theories are just a few rabbit holes that will lead to non-constuctive dialog. I will give my opinions on any topic of discussion but I don't challenge what folks believe. Folks have a right to think and believe whatever thry choose. We do not have a right to impose our beliefs on others. HIV is a man-made disease. There's nothing we can do about it.
  2. You've laid out a case for how Black folks can be violent and ruthless against each other. I've acknowledged it. Please explain why Black folks haven't overthrown their white and non-white colonizers and imperialists.
  3. @Troy, makes a great point that a lot of wealth has come from ruthless business practices and at the expense of destroying others in the process. We see and hear about Black people filled with greed and corruption in other countries. It's a reaction to indirect racism white supremacy. We also know about AfroAmericans killing each other in cities across America over drugs and gang-related BS. It's a by-product of racism white supremacy. However, I contend that Black folks aren't truly violent and/or ruthless people. Definitely not enough so to take wealth and power from others especially white folks. That's why Black countries remain poor while their natural resources are being exploited by foreigners. If Black countries were to rebel against their Interlopers, a harsh military strike would come against them. Wagner group offering their services was an example. Interestingly, Brown people are allowed to control their other wealth that comes from black gold aka oil. Black folks are waiting on a miracle to destroy the evil people and restore the world to a peaceful paradise. It will take a similar miracle for Black folks to realize their wealth and consolidate it into power.
  4. In the same way that poor people don't realize the rich are keeping them poor, reasonably intelligent people don't see that AI is going to displace them especially in the workforce. One day, a whole bunch of educated folks who could rely on a good white collar job will find themselves driving Uber. Kinda like folks who claim to be doctors and nurses, kings and queens in their home countries. Their education is no good here in the US. Drive Uber or take this lawn mower and cut grass or wash old people's azz. The future of America under AI will have a whole bunch of educated people working outside their areas of study and/or expertise.
  5. Black people collectively have e wealth. We just don't use it as power. Gross consumerism has many of our people preoccupied. It might take another generation or so for them to understand the true power of wealth.
  6. Yeah bro, I can only hope I'm in the last stages of Dementia or Alzheimer's disease in those days.
  7. As Chris Rock accurately pointed out, Black folks are rich....white folks are wealthy. Rich money is good for a generation or so. It mainly works for the individual(s) and their immediate circle. Wealth is power that is passed down through generations.
  8. @Pioneer1, AfroAmericans do not have the power or position to 1) stop white folks from allowing immigrants into the US nor 2) leave the US and buy up land in another country. Immigrants are leaving their home countries for a better life in the US. White folks are using them as a buffer between themselves and AfroAmericans. AfroAmericans can barely buy up land and build cities here in the country they were born. It would be difficult for them to do it in a stranger land. Again, fleeing to countries folks are leaving doesn't make sense. I seriously doubt Ecuador or any other country would with open arms welcome AfroAmericans into their country to come and build it up. In order to build property and a sustainable infrastructure, the money would have to come from somewhere. You're right....AfroAmericans are not unified. We're not on code in the 9 areas of human activity. Take one thing....wealth building. We're not there. Cash rules everything especially politics. We have a long way to go in that regard.
  9. @Pioneer1, over several centuries now, many Black folks have been conditioned to mistrust themselves amd each other and take whatever white folks say and do as gospel. That's why the white man's ice always seems to be colder to many Black folks and non-white folks too. Artificial Intelligence wil be the nail in the coffin that allows white folks to separate themselves from non-whites. Especially rich and poor. Human beings shouldn't fear the man-made supercomputers that will replace them in the labor force. They should be rebelling against the Humans who are creating them. Human beings had better figure put how to produce something tangible. They have to make themselves of value. in a world of self-checkout, AI generated content and robots performing everything from car repairs to surgeries, there will be less work for humans to do. That's going to lead to an unemployment rate the world has never seen. There's going to be a lot of poor people when white folks give most of the jobs to AI. Thankfully, I won't be around to see a world being run by computers and robots.
  10. AI=Artificial Intelligence. I can already imagine the kind data diet it is being programmed, er, fed by its human nutritionists.
  11. All white media remains on code when it comes to maintaining the system of racism white supremacy. They aren't going to deep dive into anything that exposes what it is and how it works.
  12. Real news is based on facts and information. The local news and some newspapers still operate that way. PBS and NPR curate news stories from the wave tops but they still report without the spin. On cable news channels, once talking heads start giving their opinions and bringing in subject matter experts to spin narratives, the news becomes entertainment to their target audience. The salaries of these media personalities on cable TV is a telltale sign that's it's more entertainment than information. We live in a 24/7/365 media cycle that is constantly feeding the systems of capitalism and racism white supremacy.
  13. Our community has been going through in one way or another for several hundred years now. The reality is that h8ll for one person or a group of people is paradise to another. To that extent, life is what we make it especially from an individual perspective. So, it would be selfish to wish for the destruction or annihilation of our people based on our own perception of conditions and/or circumstances. We should strive to do whatever it takes within our calling to make life better for our people. Imagine how different our history would be if Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. had resigned himself to a life of ministry, academia, political office or maybe corporate America. Every generation has an opportunity to make life better. It's all about the Black men putting in that work.
  14. That's hilarious. In order to be informed when it comes to my armchair opinions, I'll tune in to the assortment of entertainment news channels to absorb as much of the BS as I can stand. More importantly, I tune in to confirm that they're all full of sh8t. Different cast of characters but the same ole spin. NewsNation tries to be objective but there's a certain hype and sensationalism in the news stories they choose to cover as well. I'm sure Walter Cronkite never could've imagined what news would become one day. A big tent circus.
  15. Cool. We can create a thread dedicated to Black Power where positive images and success are documented.
  16. Surely. We could stop consuming i.e. turn it off and that would be one solution. Again, when it comes to artistic content and freedom of expression, there is plenty room for all types good or bad or neutral. Balance is the key. Many adult males listen to gangsta rap and/or watch violent movies without feeling the need to kill a n8gga. Likewise, a woman can spit a fire filthy verse or rock a pair of clear-heeled shoes and still represent herself as a lady. IMO, the *problem* is that negative images are more accessible and out-number positive images in music, TV and film. It is by design for the media to show the most dysfunctional sh8t going on in Black communities from the hood to the strip club to a fight in the street. Anti-Black sentiment is very real. The media hardly ever tours HBCUs and other colleges and universities to show the young, beautiful brothas and sistas seeking higher education. We hardly ever see profiles in success showcasing ordinary Black folks who are doing wonderful things. We are bombarded with images of athletes, entertainers, actors/actresses and people doing dysfunctional sh8t. We need to do a better job of owning and controlling the narratives that pertain to us.
  17. You're right...Black ADOS/FBA have every right to leave the USA. But, the USA is the birthplace and ancestral home of ADOS/FBA. 1) Black ADOS/FBA do not have another country that we can call home 2) Again....rhetorically, why do so many non-ADOS/FBA folks leave their home countries to take up residence in the USA 3) A huge amount of anti-AfroAmerican sentiment comes from other Black folks who benefit from our struggle Personally, I have enough resources to live comfortably anywhere on the planet. That's beside the point. I was born and raised in Washington, DC proper i.e. not the suburbs. I'm ADOS/FBA for life. Rest assured that I, as an ADOS/FBA Black man will always live here, claim and push the USA as our homeland until I take my last breath and die. I will not let non-ADOS/FBA folks and tethers feel comfortable coming to the US and 1) reaping the benefits of everything ADOS/FBA built and 2) either directly or indirectly telling us to get over slavery and racism white supremacy. ADOS/FBA Black folks must wake up and keep fighting for the America that belongs to us.
  18. The media is on code 24/7/365 spinning negative narratives about Black people. Black men are constantly under attack and being painted in several negative lights. Black women aren't exempt in being painted in a few shades of negative light as well. We do not see or hear similar narratives being posted about any other group of people...men or women. Society would lead us to believe that other groups of men and women are perfectly well adjusted...responsible, submissive, docile, etc. The anti-Black machine is always working. That's why it's important to keep the bullseye on the system of racism white supremacy. Way too many Black folks are getting paid to exacerbate the negativity against us...sellling out. The real question(s) is when are Black people especially those who are either in charge of media and/or have some type of access to it...going to stop pimping Black folks with negative images and replace it with positive images of our people in our intelligence, beauty, talent, etc.
  19. I'm mindful of this when talking to non-white immigrants especially tethers. The system of racism white supremacy means nothing to most immigrants because they purposefully left their home countries looking for a better life in predominantly white countries. The USA is the ancestral home of AfroAmericans born ADOS/FBA. AfroAmericans built the USA. The USA belongs to us. It's our home country. AfroAmericans have no other country of origin and nowhere else to go nor should be even consider looking for another country. That's silly. The dumb white folks would love for AfroAmericans to pack up our sh8t and roll out but it would be foolish of us to do so. Most people recognize that AfroAmericans are responsible for every ounce of flavor billions of people around the globe enjoy. AfroAmericans have been influential in every advancement of human activity over several centuries and counting. Every other immigrant benefits from the avenues created from the AfroAmerican struggle....right here in the USA...our home.
  20. The real question is why are white racists trolling and throwing shade at Black folks in the 1st place. Considering white privilege and other goodies, giveaways and guarantees bestowed upon white folks, there's no real reason for them to have grievance with Black folks. In fact, white folks have huge swaths of land and entire states where they don't even have to see Black folks. I certainly have no reason to show up in Wyoming. If white folks are lacking in anything, they need to take it up with other white folks. Black folks aren't the cause of their condition, issues or problems.
  21. Sure. You're wise enough to enjoy it as entertainment. I doubt entertainment news consumption will lead you to buy a bunch of firearms and believe your country is being stolen.
  22. The most dangerous group because they have nothing to lose but are being led to believe Black folks are taking that away from them.
  23. For a brief moment in time back in 1995, beyoned the Nation of Islam, Minister Farrakhan had the attention of millions of Black men. He was a leader. in that moment, Minister Farrakhan had Black men ready to get on code. I was there to witness it. A lot of money was raised. Black men went back to their communities. The movement evaporated. Minister Farrakhan is an old man now. I don't expect him to lead Black America at this point. His teachings should be studied. The Million Man March should have produced an organization with a sustainable plan and a line of succession in leadership. There was a lost opportunity. Thankfully, there are young Black potential leaders at the grassroots level like the aforementioned Tariq Nasheeed and others. Time will tell.
  24. IMO, Al Sharpton is a self-appointed spokesperson for Black America. He leads the National Action Network, an organization focused on social justice. Otherwise, IMO, Black America does not have leadership in the traditional sense. There's no individual(s) or group that Black America can look to as a beacon of light and/or champion on our behalf. That's by design. It seems AfroAmerican history is being washed away until eventually, our people will no longer recognize themselves as ADOS/FBA nor embrace or fight for it. If/when that shift becomes complete, I think AfroAmericans will adopt a mentality similar to that of Black folks who leave their home countries seeking better opportunities in white countries. Non-ADOS/FBA Black folks are indifferent to racism white supremacy because they are houseguests in a white man's land (country). It will be a sad reality if it should come to pass that AfroAmericans only believe this is our country because we live here and not by birthright, blood, sweat, tears and death built on centuries of oppression. Right now, I don't see any AfroAmerican leadership on code to protect our birthright and fight for our inheritance.
  25. Of course, this is how easily white immigrants can get into the US: https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/policy/immigration/fbi-immigrants-crossed-border-isis-affiliated-smuggler Nevermind any potential security risk these people could impose. Not to worry...it will all get sorted out in the paperwork. In the meantime, illegal white immigrants go sight-seeing and be sure to sign up for medical benefits and housing and employment. Welcome to your new home. The tale of two halves when it comes to immigration provides a real glimpse into how America is playing the game.
