IMO, the chances are zero but I'll call it very slim to none that the former POTUS goes to prison. Time and again, he's proven to be Teflon in court.

It's an interesting fight considering AfroAmerican men and women are in the same proverbial boat.
This power dynamic only seems to exist among AfroAmericans.
Even the poorest men and women in other cultures do not seem to struggle over leadership.

@Pioneer1, unfortunately, many Black folks have already been conditioned to look down on AfroAmericans.
It would take a great deal of education to reprogram black folks into working together.

Where I grew up we called it jonin'. We mostly laughed at the insults but sometimes it would lead to arguments and fights. Nobody got killed though.
The mama jokes defnitely descended from the dozens. To this day the easiest way to offend most AfroAmericans is to talk about their mother.
"Your momma hair so short she has to roll it up with rice."
"Your momma so ugly she look like your great-grandaddy."
It was juvenile and insensitive but some of it was funny as h8ll and we'd be in tears laughing back in those days.

@Pioneer1, IMO, the participation on this discussion forum is already low.
A sub-forum will be even more lean and it will be the equivalent of one hand clapping.
I'm enjoying the comfy chair here. Besides, I probably wouldn't qualify for a high intellect forum with my sense of humor.

Vitamins and supplements are fine for but eating nutrient rich foods is better for the human body.
Proper diet and exercise are the real keys to weight loss and good health.
Consider all of the places on the planet with the most physically fit people. They're not popping pills or pressing patches on themselves.
Physically fit people live a healthy lifestyle from what they eat to how they work and play.

Black leaders do not need to be fighting against this. That battle was fought and won by Black students in the late 1960's when Black History classes began to appear in high schools, colleges and universities.
Why don't some of you ask the folks who lionize Republicans why they don't speak up?Maybe I should be more specific because not all Black folks care about the struggle of AfroAmericans...
Everything AfroAmerican leadership fought and died for back in the 1960s is being rolled back.
Yeah, I definitely think current AfroAmerican leadership absolutely should be fighting to preserve our history and rights. After all, that's how they made it to their current positions.
But, AfroAmerican leadership should not be alone in the fight. ALL AfroAmericans should be using their voices and platforms to speak up and out against the whitewashing of our history.
It would be great if other Black folks join us in the fight to preserve our history too.

The real question is why are Black folks allowing our history to be whitewashed. The people should be using their platforms to draw attention to it.
Elected Black leaders should be fighting on our behalf to maintain our history too. Instead, they're busily chasing abortion rights, gun control and other initiatives that are important to white supremacists.

I'm jealous. There was no gofundme campaign when I bought my 1st property a few decades ago. Several properties later, I never received any help.
They'd better figure that sh8t out without their hands out.

I Just recently heard that 24 years ago, Mumble mouth Herschel put a gun to his ex-wife's head and threatened to blow her brains out. This clown claims he doesn't remember it. But, she does and told him to pull the trigger and said, "I know where I'm going...do you".
Obviously, Mumble mouth didn't go through with it. But, upon hearing about that ordeal...some dude in Georgia said he would still vote for him because he's a Republican.
Unbelievable. Then again, maybe not because the former POTUS once said that he could walk down Madison Avenue and shoot somebody and get away with it. I guess that's just how their party rolls.
-
The funniest part of this is the former POTUS was notoriously a non-reader. He didn't care to read the POTUS briefs or too much of anything else for that matter.
So, the question becomes why the former POTUS took 15 boxes of documents to his Florida home/resort. It's not like he's going to read the documents for old times sake.
But, maybe there was just enough information in those boxes for the former POTUS to sell to to the highest bidder and/or anyone who had dirt on him.

Here's a slogan for you to paint on a sign. "Trump 24: Out With The Old In With the Coup."
Regardless of party affiliation, that's some funny sh8t right there.

The FBI needs to be dismantled and the Justice Department needs an overhaul.
I've been hearing and reading that talking point from the Right. They are the same people who wanted Hilary Clinton locked up over some emails.
The former POTUS took 15 boxes of documents from the White House back to Florida. That's against the law. Nevermind that he sent the boxes back to DC when he got good and gotd8mn ready.
No telling what was removed from those boxes. Oh no...wait a minute. The Feds sent a subpoena asking for the documents to be returned.
Then, they interviewed his lawyers at the house and saw the documents. They asked him to better secure them. This dude put the documents in his safe. Not smart.
There's a reason former POTUS took the 5th amendment a bunch of times yesterday. He did the same thing he said only guilty people do.

Yep. I noticed the new old arrival.
Didn't even bother to change the script. Went straight for the low hanging fruit, er, troll threads in agreement.
@Troy. I'm not even going to shoot at those clay targets. I look forward to you removing them from the range.

So much for Black Unity, when it comes to issues like this.
... Bashing other positive Black women like Allyson and the sistas over in Jamaica is so childish.
Once upon the time, the elders within the Black community would have pulled her to the side and had a talk with Sha'Carri. Those days are long gone.
Black matriarchs and patriarchs have gone silent as they are afraid of these weed smoking n8gglets and then there's the drug dealers and killers.
It's hard to talk to these n8gglets when they're higher than giraffe snatch and hair, eyelashes and nails are too long and pants are hanging off their azz.
This child can run faster than the old man in the movie Get Out. Yeah...no. Ain't nobody gonna tell Sha'Carri to go sat down somewhere.

Gang, while @Stefan seems to be indefatigable in defending his positions and wants us to say *uncle* and become accountable writers and join the Democrats, I think he means well otherwise.

Everybody rags on China. 99 percent of everything in a Dollar Store is made in China.
It seems like 92% of everything in the USA is made in China or another part of Asia.

Yeah, the Dollar Store ain't the dollar store no more.
In fact, Wal-Mart is cheaper than the dollar store nowadays.

Glad to be at a point in life where I don't need riskier investments or the metaverse. I'll leave that to the younger folks.

It might not be done yet. I'm guessing the crypto network has to rebooted like a cable box.

Yep. She's definitely providing great information. Still relevant even it's old news now.
Again, I'm disappointed that despite Africa having over 1 billion people, it cannot keep itself from allowing foreigners to cut it up like a Thanksgiving turkey.
@Pioneer1, it's not a lack of intelligence among black people. They are losing to greed and power.

Unfortunately, whether it's her age or immaturity or both, Sha’carri Richardson has over-estimated her greatness and/or importance to the sport of Track & Field.
Sha'carri reminds me of young athletes in other sports who have shown some promise but allowed the hype to derail their careers.
Richardson won't be the last rising star to fall back to Earth. There is still a window of opportunity to get her mind *right* and back into the game.

The Federal Government says that it is ILLEGAL with no exceptions, including medical.
The feds aren't going to run around chasing and prosecuting folks for smoking weed. If such was the case, every April 20th they could round up a whole lot of folks.

That's the modus operandi of these Western powers through out history.
Causing destabilization in order to secure power.Absolutely. Divide and conquer and spreading imperialism has been working for hundreds of years.
I'm still amazed by how France pulled that sh8t off leaving Haiti indebted to them for over 200 years and counting.
The US allows a few Haitians to come here but otherwise...benign neglect.
The way border patrol on horseback turned the Haitian refugees away several months ago showed us everything we need to know about what they think of black folks.
Meanwhile, 100k Ukrainian refugees show up to open arms; hot cocoa, food, blankets, clothes, housing and a monthly stipend to make ends meet.

The former POTUS took a few boxes of government documents to Florida when he left the White House. That's against the law:
It took a while for the government to retrieve the boxes. No telling what documents were pulled from the boxes before turning them back over to the feds.
I would be surprised if the FBI find any documents in that house. If they do find anything, someone was very stupid, cocky or sloppy.
For many years, they haven't been able to make anything stick to Teflon Don.
Let's see if the FBI comes up with the smoking gun to keep him from running for office again.

@Stefan, I wrote that all AfroAmericans including leadership should be using their voices and platforms regarding the preservation of Black History.
