  1. @Pioneer1My argument is not a straw man one. You are, and always have been, coming from a place as the "expert" on the sexual behavior of black men which you contrast to that of European men who you claim don't have the hearty sexual appetite of black men. That ongoing attitude is what i keep in mind when arguing with you. You continue to complain how this country's culture stifles the natural sexuality of black people whose African blood makes them polygamous, according to you. So you are focused on white people whose values you don't want imposed on black people in this society, because you assume their sexual habits are different from those of black people. And, since you are aware of the mixed blood lines are people of color in this country then why do you continue to want to characterize them as polygamous Africans? Why don't you just mind your own business and stop trying to tell these assimilated slave descendants what comes natural to them. You're so busy trying to portray black men as super studs that you can't conceive of the idea of that sexuality varies from person to person and is a human issue. And i do pay attention to what you say. That's why i continue to disagree with you. You don't know what you're talking about any more than anyone else on this board. Everybody but you knows this.
  2. And you are making the mistake of thinking that you can speak for married white men inasmuch as you are assuming that they don't desire sex with other women from time to time. All men have these urges. It's called "fantasizing." Furthermore, what you refer to as "Afro-American" men are hybrid men of color who have mixed blood as a result of the miscegenation spawned by slavery so you aren't qualified to speak with authority on this subject since you insist on applying what you have decided are African customs to these men. And it's not like black men are so oversexed that they are harassing women in the work place more than white ones are.
  3. You didn't answer my question. All you had to say was "they" were either disgracing the monkeys or they were disgracing the Afro American youth. Instead you editorialized rather than claryifying.
  4. @Pioneer1Depends on who the person is. In your case, you being yourself is so mediocre that you "wanna-be" something better. But you don't have what it takes. So, the compound adjective "wanna-be" applies to the self who you are stuck with being.
  5. @Pioneer1There is no difference between the nouns "response" and "answer" unless an adjective such as "right" or "wrong" modifies them. And the phrase "interrogate the answers out of you" is redundant. Answer: a thing said, written, or done to deal with or as a reaction to a question, statement, or situation: "synonyms: response, reply Response: a reply or an answer. @Delano Sorry, couldn't resist. But your decision to be neutral tempts me. Merry Christmas to you.
  6. Have a great Christmas, Everyone!
  7. Thank you, Harry! Same to you.
  8. @Pioneer1My question was very relevant to the stupid statement you made in regard to the subject of this thread. But you chose to ramble off on a tangent instead of providing a coherent answer.
  9. Well, you're not me. so just be content with being your deluded wanna-be self.
  10. @Pioneer1 @TroyMy response to your generalization about what "most" African American men want is what most African American men, who are racial hybrids as a result of slavery, want is one wife. They may all be playas when single but once they decided upon their own that they want to marry and have kids, they are satisfied with one mate because this works better when you don't live in a grass hut in the jungle. Otherwise, they remain bachelors and play the field. This is not only true of black men, it is true of the ones of all the other ethnicities in America. And, again, i remind you that common law marriages are recognized by the courts, so these studs can have any variation of polygamy they choose. As i also said, values are guidelines; they are not carved in stone. People live by their own personal moral code, and exercise discretion when it comes to their sex lives so as to not expose their hypocrisy. All you have to do is to look around you and observe how everybody in America does their own thing.
  11. Having read the Egyptian myth about Horus, i see a lot of similarities.
  12. What does your "answer" have to do with my question?
  13. Your ongoing obsession with white values inhibiting the natural behavior that, according to you, are in the DNA of "Afro-Americans" when it comes to their sexual nature, is what prompts what i said about the ghetto lifestyle. Furthermore, values are guidelines. They are not carved in stone, and everybody, including black middle-class people, distill from society's values what becomes their personal code in regard to their morality, taking into consideration how they need to conduct themselves when it comes to projecting a respectable facade. The biggest influence Christianity has on black and white folks is an affinity for hypocrisy. Oh, puleeze. Be specific about what white Christian/European values, which are loosely aligned with legal behavior, are in conflict with what are the "true" values of black people. You have an inexhaustible supply of hot air to release into the atmosphere.
  14. And when did you acquire a hot-line to the truth? I prefer you wouldn't verbalize your agreement with me; it taints my credibility
  15. And you want to replace these white lies and myths with black ones. And the reason folks on the internet say what you accused them of above could have something to do with the idea that until "niccas" get scientifically superior enough to dismantle white supremacy, then there's no reason to believe they are exceptional enough to supplant existing scientific theories.
  16. Solution to every problem? Reaction is not a solution. The advisability of values should be determined by the results and not categorized by color. In the ghetto culture, black people do "what comes naturally" and ignore "white" values, and the result is not positive. There is no black or white scientific proof that straight men can be turned into homosexuals by outside influences, but the baby mama/baby daddy lifestyle which involves absentee father figures is what really has an impact of black males. White society is not forcing inner city blacks to engage in the free-wheeling sex that results in indiscriminate breeding, all in the name of blacks indulging their supposedly super-charged sexual instincts. And, of course, any attempt by whites to encourage birth control, create suspicion of genocide in the minds of afro-centrists. In reality, blacks have their own personal code of conduct, and that accounts for the class divide among them.
  17. @TroyYou and Del are combatants in debating 2018 style:a clash of the monologues.
  18. Who are "they?" Even if I knew who the "they" were, your idea seem preposterous to me. And who are "they" trying to disgrace? The monkeys or the black youth???
  19. The Horus myth came before the Jesus one based on Horus.
  20. OK, back to solving problems as you see them. The world is waiting. .
  21. No, i won't "get it" if you proceed on the premise that the same criteria should be used in the 2 different statements you made, statements which i thought were diametrically opposed, not "similar' as you have decreed. You are lining up players for a mind game where you make the rules. Pioneer and Troy will be awarded points depending on whether or not they agree with you. Chevedove is the favorite. Mel can go either way. BTW, did you stay up all night pondering this dilemma which apparently prompted you to delete your 2 posts in which you quoted my statement about your mercurial explanations? (You should be advised that my acknowledgement of your being well-read, trumped my other observation.) Soooo, here we go, another discussion where subjective opinions will be an obstacle to resolutions.
  22. @DelSpeaking for myself, when you said women were smarter than men, I was not less reticient, - except in your opinion. i said women were more detail-oriented than men, and knew a little bit about a lot of things, whereas men seem to have limited interests. When you said that you were smarter than the average women and requested a comment, i said you were well-read but not as smart as women when it came to communicating clearly because you were not aware of how the quixotic way you expressed yourself affected your coherence. My conclusion that smartness has to be categorized is consistent with my above statements and is also pretty much in agreement with Troy saying: "characteristics like intelligence can be viewed many different ways and is often be difficult to measure. Therefore, making a statement like, "I am smarter than the average woman." is meaningless."
  23. @Del Plowing my way through Troy's assertions after plowing my way through your request for me to explain them, i came to the conclusion that his statements were not necessarily in "conflict". The second one seems to elaborate on the first one. The message was the same: your question is ambiguous. His reference to "toxic egocentricity" was apparently a wise-crack referring to something said in another post.
  24. I find it interesting that feminists have to be put in 2 categories: black ones and whites ones. But, then, this dichotomy has always existed and it began in another incarnation during the Women's Suffrage movement when white women were not receptive to black women being included in the struggle to gain the vote. But black women persisted and did their own thing. The article's author could've also mentioned that intersectionality is a 3-headed monster because feminists, in addition to racism and misogyny, also had to contend with homophobic bias because of the lesbian presence in its ranks. At the onset of the movement, this played a role in inhibiting the enthusiasm of straight black female who were considering joining the movement. Back in the 1960s during the Women's Lib heyday, i remember the attitude of many black women reflecting the idea that they were already on an equal level with their men, and were tired of sharing the burden, ready for these men to take over, and put their women on a pedestal the way white men did theirs. I never considered joining this group because like so many white liberal organizations back then, the leaders were condescending to blacks. To this day, I don't consider myself a feminist. I'm just a castigating woman; more so on some occasions than others. @Chevdove i never knew about Clarence Thomas commanding the support of black women, either. But the gospel-singing female supporters hark back to the black church which encourages women to take subordinate and supportive roles with their menfolk, and this includes protecting them. i also closely followed those hearings during which Democratic senator, Joe Biden, sided with Thomas. Thomas being a Republican married to a white woman was all i needed to be on Anita's side. @Mel Coincidentally i, too, recently became a fur grandmother when my grandson, over my objections and threats to move, brought a pit bull-mix into the household to romp around and chew up everything. Left with no choice but to co-exist with the creature, he and i did indeed communicate. During the intervals when he was confined to his cage, i would stand over him and talk to him, telling him what i wasn't going to put up with and how he'd better shape up. Sometimes he would argue back by barking at me. We did, in the process, establish eye-contact. Now, he knows that my room is off-limits, and to "sit" when i tell him to because i will reward his obedience by petting his head and scratching his ears. Other times, he displays a little defiance by squeezing through the door with me when i enter my room and, once in there, will sniff around and then leave on his own. He seems to want to be in my company. He's docile and good when his master is around but when my grandson leaves, he tries to get tough with me and my daughter. But, like the male of all species, when ignored he sulks away and takes a nap.
  25. @Del i think you are very well-read, but i don't think you're smarter than the average woman when it comes to communicating because you are not cognizant of how your quixotic style of expressing yourself affects your coherence. The average woman is flexible enough to maker herself clearly understood. So, like everyone else, I believe that smartness has to be categorized.
