  1. I'm trying a different technique by asking questions that I hope will help you see things in a different way. If you are trying to count the number of people Black and white people with diabetes give me a reason to justify excluding the Hispanic ones? My answer is there isn't one, but I'd like to read you justification for it.
  2. Bingo. @Pioneer1 the key word here is implicit. Where did you get this definition of the Black race? Is this your opinion again? You do realize most ADOS have European, or so called "white" ancestry, right? You have in the past call people who to your reckoning are white, when they are ethnically Black. What makes your reasoning problematic is that you reject people who claim a Black ethnicity because don't like the way they look.
  3. What race are Native Americans?
  4. Yes, of course, but of all the ethnicities that exist, why choose that one to break out when you could easily put them in the black and white buckets
  5. Again Why breakout Hispanics? Do you have black and white? Just put the black Hispanics in the black group and the white Hispanics in the white group.
  6. Sure, but they are profoundly different. One is dogmatic, resistant to change, and based on a the words of someone. The other is open to change and is based on proof. The article breaks out black and white But then has a separate section for Hispanics, which you say includes black and white. Why do you think they pull out Hispanics?
  7. I push back because you’re so strident in an absolute in your incorrect position,; this is your MO. There is no subtlely in your positions. Everything is black and white. In this case, every reasonable person knows there are plenty of women and men with the name Shannon., thereby making it a gender-neutral name. But for some unexplained, incomprehensible reason you reject this idea, and provide no coherent explanation. I imagine holding onto positions like this would be frustrating when they are vetted with other other people.
  8. Fortunately, many schools read literature that is much more diverse -- seemingly too diverse for some.
  9. To clarify @Delano ; Even though it rejects everything modern science tell us, race will exist as long as there are enough people like @Pioneer1 to perpetuate it. Racism, and all that comes along with it (i.e. white superiority), will continue as long as enough people embrace race. There are many beliefs founded on complete and utter falsehoods. These beliefs all come to an end... eventually.
  10. You skipped over all my questions @Pioneer1. now you demanding I answer yours. Ok, here is a direct answer to your question which was implied by my response that homosexuality predates white racism: No, I do not think white racists have formulated a method of turning Black people into homosexuals for the purpose of reducing our numbers (Ignoring the fact that homosexuals do procreate).
  11. @Pioneer1 Yes, race and ethnicity are two different things. You will find the word race used all over the place, but that does not mean that is has a basis in science. It is purely a social construct. This is a reason I wish people would stop using the word because is confuses people like you and prolongs the acceptance of racism. I skimmed the article, did you see the description "Hispanic" used? What "race" are Hispanics? I'm surprised "American Indians" was used, as it is offensive and should be dispensed with too... but we live a white racist society and old habits die hard.
  12. @Pioneer1 NFL franchises are owned by individuals. Just concede the point for once.
  13. There you go again using your "personal experience" as your only evidence again. Despite all the evidence to the contrary, you will still hold onto a demonstrably false idea... incorrigible.
  14. So, you ascribe to the "fairy dust" theory. You know homosexuality existed long before the concept of race and certainly American white racism, right?
  15. Everything else you wrote makes sense, but your premise is profoundly flawed. How in tarnation does a racist weaponize homosexuality, for example, against the Black community? Does some racist go around sprinkling fairy dust in the milk of little boys and girls? SMH...
  16. More important is happiness I would be willing to bet readers, certainly curious people, who pursue knowledge, overindex on happiness? It has been proven race doesn't. Which is why racism is dying.
  17. Oh, OK I thought we were about NYC where the WTC Towers were. Dude what is the only plausible explanation; the tower were deliberately demolished right? That is a hell of a lot harder to explain. Otherwise, what the heck are we talking about? Fascinating report -- thanks for sharing it. I read most of the report and it and sound perfectly reasonable to me. Despite having two degrees in engineering I don't know enough to challenge it. I believe it. That is umbrarchist's fixation on accounting and 911 conspiracies LOL! Our economy would not work without it. It is wasteful but it is what it is...
  18. LOL, well I'm not about to learn enough physics to explain how the tower came down -- at least not to your satisfaction. I just have enough common sense not to believe half the crazy stuff going around. Look if you wanna believe some here in the US conspired with the 9/11 hijackers to blow up the WTC and keep it all a secret, cool. You are still left the question why, to what end end?
  19. I don't mess with Meta's AI all Mark is concerned about is using all of his resources to keep you glued to his platforms as long as possible. You think his feed is effective with AI you ain't seen nothing yet. I don't mess with Google's LLM either. I don't even use their search engine very much If the search results are any good it is hard to tell with all the crap they have on the search engine results page. When they launched it was great because the page was clean, nit it is a cluttered mess. I stopped doing that for coding questions in particular. If you, for example ask the LLM to perform a specific tasks using specific languages and tools and techniques it will do that. But if you don't tell it how to do something will is more likely to give you a better answer -- simply because you did not know enough to ask the right question. Perhaps.
  20. Sorry to read this. I don't know what is worse man. All thing considered you did very well for yourself. Just need to divest you of a few conspiracy theories
  21. A mile is 20 city blocks. It wasn’t the airplanes that took the towers down. It was the jet engine fuel. I haven’t seen a detailed video explaining the collapse of the world trade Center, Towers and I definitely did not read the report. However, what you’re suggesting is that the towers were brought down deliberately, which is a conspiracy theory an absurd, one IMHO. The conspiracy theory requires a lot more of an explanation than the official report.
  22. If you watch the video, all those questions will be answered. I thought you might find it interesting, But maybe not.
  23. I wonder if he is actually posting this stuff himself... There must be a million other more productive, or amusing, things he could be doing with his time.
  24. Well, it happened so how do you explain it? Here is an interesting story about the Citicorp building, real engineering deal with actual design flaws:
  25. @Pioneer1 pretty much every topic of conversation you have described would be off limits pretty much everywhere I've worked -- especially the flirting. I had one female boss that I can remember. I did not report directly to her she was to level above me. She overcompensated on being tough. What is the purpose of having women in the workplace if they are just going to try to act like a man... But don't let it be a black and a white one 'Cause they'll slam ya down to the street top Black police showing out for the white cop
