When @Pioneer1 mentioned taking a break in that thread, I asked him to return ASAP.

 

As far as forum participation goes, there seems to be folks who enjoy reading it based on the view numbers. Maybe they're enlightened and/or entertained by the regular contributors.

 

I joined because of the ongoing dialog between @Pioneer1, @Cynique, @Troy, @Mzuri, @Delano @Chevdove, @daniellegfny to name a few.

 

I know folks get tired of reading some of the same ole rhetoric or grievance or whatever. But, the conversations are still interesting and entertaining in proportion to  participant perspectives. 

 

I'm enjoying my arm chair around here. So, even if I'm one hand clapping, I'll keep bringing up topics, adding my 2 cent narrative and looking forward to reading everyone else too. 

 

Come on back to those I mentioned above and anyone lurking. The forum can be as lively as we make it. 😎

I'm still here.
I'm doing a bit of struggling but I still have a roof over my head and food to eat and the lights are still on.

I actually had to RELOCATE to a cheaper place to stay.
I still engage in community organization as well as having to concern myself with trying to make a living and secure a constant source of income.


Prof D, it's like the Honorable Neely Fuller Jr. teaches us....be ready to take your belongings and relocate on short notice.
The racists love using dislocation and relocation as a common tactic to keep their victims in a state of confusion.

I don't care if you've been in a place for 30 years and CALL yourself "owning" it....when the racists in power say MOVE NIGGA....it's time to go.

They may force you out, or they may raise the rent so high you can't afford to stay, or they may tamper with your source of income so that you no longer can afford to stay.

Neely Fuller Jr. was and is a VERY wise man and much of the knowledge he has given us seems divinely inspired.

@Mzuri I completely missed Pioneer1's taking a break message.  I'm glad it was deliberate. I was hoping nothing was wrong physically.  I have no idea who Pioneer is in the real world.  

 

@ProfD Well if there is no conversation, there will be nothing for lurkers to read 😞

 

In the last two weeks the site has been inundated with spam posts.  I've blocked IP address and deleted posts (I have to approve all guest posts). It is a pain the the butt.  @Pioneer would probably say it is racists trying to make my life difficult and bring the site down ... who knows.  Still, Amazon is a bigger problem 😉

I too am doing a bit of shuffling around and that's why I have not logged in recently.

Sometimes we just get occupied with other things
