@GregGlutton for punishment that I am, I have indigestion from being subjected to the myopia of your tunnel vision which also serves as an echo chamber for the typical black conservative narrative you parrot. Everything you lament about between the lines of your thinly-disguised white envy, is bracketed in the phrase "the black community". In your relentless critiques you persist in equating community with class. but I'm here to challenge your rhetoric.
The types you rant about are only a portion of the "black community" and they fall under the sub-heading that sociologists categorize as the underclass, they are the people who abide in the "inner cities", a sanitized term for the "ghetto". To you, it's as though the black middle class which represents a different lifestyle within the black community, doesn't exist. But it does. You are not some rare paragon of virtue. There are millions of other blacks who your sordid scenarios don't describe. You're always admonishing people for not facing the truth and you need to follow your own advice. The black community is not a monolith! It is made up of different classes.
But you won't be silenced in your campaign against absentee fathers and their baby mamas, droning the same ol tired solutions full of hot air that will never solidify. You will continue to argue that this problem and what it spawns is much worse among blacks. I, therefore, propose a cure-all for what is not just a black dilemma because what you disapprove of occurs among all ethnicities. Since males are the ones with whom the trouble begins, I suggest a law be passed to perform reversible vasectomies on all boy babies at birth. Sterilize them until such time as they have proven they are upstanding, gainfully-employed members of society ready for marriage, - a rite which will be preceded by an operation to reverse the vasectomy. And all will be right with the world...
Of course the odds of this happening are zilch. So just get on with your squeaky clean rubber stamp life and shut up. What you envision for the black race is not realistic. Why? Because its members are what they are and this is not a perfect world. And, personally speaking, I'd rather belong to an interesting multi-faceted species who come in all varieties and who, in spite of so much adversity, have still retained a remarkable ability to enjoy themselves, - unlike a tight-ass square like you.
