  1. Don't take it literally. The film doesn't exist. This thread is a clay pigeon for target practice. 😎
  2. @GregAnd I'm sure these brilliant liberals will destroy the premise of the movie in a sequel that will deconstruct the "straw man" argument that is the gist of any such movie. Facts aren't excuses, especially when they introduce extenuating circumstances. Furthermore, any documentary that doesn't acknowledge that certain behavior is more about class than race, is bogus.
  3. ...most importantly the capital markets choose winners out the gate. Wow! LOL! What does Facebook know that you might not know ... yet? 😝 "brag" Interesting word I was not aware that I came across that way. At any rate, there are other sources of information that TV or even the world wide web. I simply do not consume news from social media or some of the site designed to attract visitors versus providing information. For example I just finished reading a scathing account of the trump white house and steve Banon's impact it is eye opening, but you are simply not going to red that on Facebook. The article was in The Atlantic they take the time and space to cover subjects with the nuance and depth you will rarely find for free on the web. I actually agree with this statement, but that is a very different thing than saying that all republican or trump supporters are racists, which I disagree with The other thing we really should look at is what is to be a racist? There are Black people who are afraid big dark skinned Black men. This is because they live in America and are fed a steady diet of the crap Uncle Ruckus has been sharing here-- the web has just made this worse. A white person subjected to the same nonsense and who feels the same fear of Black men is racist. Racism is profitable. Trump is profitable. Our free web-based news spends a great deal of time talking about trump and racism -- fanning the flames. This attention gave Trump the presidency and it also makes some people believe racsim is worst today than it was in the 19th century.
  4. It's more like push and wipe. You can't be belittle small thinkers. And if you do they don't seem smart enough to notice.
  5. Just to be clear, this non existent movie is "helmed" by Conservatives debunking the excuses apologetic Liberals give for the disarray of the "black community". Whatever. Like Harry Brown's posts, "Greg" provides subject matter to comment on, and for me, in particular, a chance to engage in my favorite pasttime: belittling those who I disagree with. 😛
  6. Today, Justice Stephen Breyer officially retires. Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson will be sworn in as the 1st black female on the SCOTUS. Despite the SCOTUS being 6-3 (conservative), I believe Justice Jackson will be able to make sound decisions. Hopefully, the SCOTUS will become balanced before Justice Jackson's time is up. 😎
  7. @daniellegfnyYou try creating a fetus by putting a fertilized zygote in an incubator. Nor, as you ambiguously imply, could I, a black Liberal, help perpetuate white supremacist fascism, - even if I was still fertile. Now run along like a good boy. 🙄 Your uncle thomas needs some help with his boot lickin chores down there at the big house on the right wing conservative plantation.
  8. "Living" begins when the first breath is drawn, and a fetus ain't breathing - as in inhaling and exhaling. Just like that dead beat uncle Thomas is just a conservative zombie, programmed to follow the instructions of his massas who need white women to grunt out more babies in order to increase the ranks of the fascistic horde about to take over the country.
  9. No I just have both less patience and optimism when I see ignorance. Although lately I been feeling like opening up a can of verbal whip @$$
  10. Not that anyone asked but I'm not on Facebook, Twitter or the Gram. Never have been and probably never will. I prefer the AALBC discussion forum because it has a positive signal to noise ratio. Sure, a lost troll might show up and forum participation is low. I don't see where @Troy needs to be heavy-handed in his moderation. But, I dig that this forum feels like a coffeeshop. Someone can pull up a chair and rap a taste. It's great that most of the regulars around here are intelligent and have a sense of humor. 😎
  11. 🤣🤣🤣 I remember! I was his hype woman! I even moderate the “He-man-Am*zon-haters” club aka #readingblack.com! But datsok! lol
  12. I’m not sure what you mean by this statement @Stefan I’ve labeled @Greg as a troll, Uncle Ruckus really, but people don’t really seem to mind Is I’ve taken no action. Uncle Ruckus has the impact of providing the white racist talking points helping us understand their thinking.
  13. Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson has been confirmed!
