Black Conservatives are more visible and vocal than ever. They are writers, thinkers, media personalities, and politicians. Whether you agree or disagree they cannot be dismissed. What are they doing to help black people? Could this be the wrong question? Maybe it's about individualism not black people. But how can black people be free individuals while being defined and denied things as a particular group. That is the problem with systemic racism. Yet Conservatives including blacks on the Right don't believe systemic racism is responsible for problems faced by blacks. They blame government policies that foster dependency and encourage racial strife. Moreover they argue that blacks are hindered by their own immoral and pathological behavior. Some black people find all of this outrageous while a few completely agree. But I suspect there are far more black people who blame both racism and us ourselves for problems we face.

Sure. Oppression and social injustice are just a few factors. Anarchy, rebellion and mental problems are others. Some men are just aggressive and violent. Too much testosterone. Littlrle to no interest in p8ssy.🤣 Those type dudes would rather hang together in a pack like wolves and fight and kill instead of chill with a woman. 😎

richardmurray Only problem is.....the West literally OWNS the Chinese economy. Much if not most of the Chinese are working for Western corporations like am*zon and Walmart and Microsoft who own companies overthere. The only thing the Communist Party of China does is whip and keep the Chinese people in line and keep them working. But when a Western corporation needs a couple million slaves to do some hard labor for them....they go to the CPC and tell them how many they need and they round up the workers and whip them into action. Talk about a slave-system: The Western corporations are the masters The Chinese people are the slaves The Communist Party of China are the overseers or slaver-drivers

Yeah, the Nation would fall into the category of being both fiscally and socially conservative. However they also recognize that there are devils in both political parties. Their critique of the government is an appeal for many, but not enough of an appeal for most to adopt their conservative life style. Black Republicans as opposed to Black conservatives come across as unsystematic to Black people who need the most help. It is also hard for me to understand the ones who support a man like Trump.

@KENNETH often this argument is simplified into a this or that scenario. There are large groups of Black people who are socially conservative. There are large numbers of Black people who are fiscally conservative. Black people can be in both of the above groups and vehemently reject the Republican party, which never made sense to me. Black people are all over the spectrum when it comes to assessing what is most responsible for our collective and individual successes and failures. If you have the three things below, you will generally succeed in this country: Ability; Drive; and Lucky You really need all three to succeed. That "trifecta" of conditions can be both elusive and fleeting. The legacy of slavery and Jim Crow has diminished our ability obtain some of the lucky breaks white folks enjoy. This of course affects our drive and even our ability. Both of my grandfathers were illiterate. I know other Black people my age whose grandfathers graduated from college. Who do you think benefited more from inherited wealth, educational opportunities, and less familial dysfunction? Who would be more inclined to claim hard work is the way to succeed? I'm one of those people who blame both the legacy of racism and our own behavior for both our individual and collective predicaments. I also believe much of our dysfunctional is a direct consequence of living in a historically white racist country.

@Pioneer1, you already know when someone can't beat the bully they pick on a smaller or weaker person.😁 Oppression works the same way. Instead of joining forces and overthrowing the oppressor, stupid, er, disenfranchised people fight each other over dumb sh8t. Gang-bangers fight and kill each other over drugs, money, terrority and things that don't even belong to them. 😎
