Nobody has yet to explain to my satisfaction why Democrats should stand on ceremony and stick with a faltering old fart like Joe Biden because when he was at the top of his game, um - he did some good things. Never mind that he is now feeble and in mental decline, - and not polling well! Ignore that Independents and young people are lukewarm about him. Just humor his obstinacy and don't rock the boat. Prop him up, and let him have his way because, well, he is the president and apparently of the same opinion as his opponent when it comes to a president being entitled to special privileges. And above all, continue to wallow in denial and cling to false hopes. This attitude seems to be second nature to black folks, in particular. Oh well, let's just stick with ol Massa. God got this. Jesus, take the wheel. Others like me bestir ourselves long enough to wonder if this is the best fight that the Democrats can put up in the crucial battle for the future of America, and if Biden is the best warrior they can send into battle. If so, count me out. It's bad enough dealing with how the electoral college screws up votes. I'll just bypass the process. I'm too old for it to make me any difference. But, who knows? The Dems may get lucky! Ho hum, good night.

That will be difficult to do because there really isn't a satisfactory answer. @aka Contrarian do you watch the House of Dragons? If so, you recall Daemon Targaryen in an effort to bolster his army had to speak with the boy Lucerys Velaryon because the father to too sick to meet. Daemon suggested that he kill his father to speed up his inheritance. The boy refused saying "It is not our way." Dameon replied then "you are of no use to me." It is just not the Democrats way and as a result they are of no use to us. Biden obviously will not step down on his own and no one will push him aside. It is a shame that we cannot attract our top talent to serve as president of the US.

The game that is American politics has left us with two old geezers running for POTUS. The Dems didn't promote any candidates during their primary to oppose the incumbent POTUS. Funny thing is POTUS PJB ran as a 1-term bridge to the future. Now, he wants to finish whatever he started. After 50+ years in the back, he's enjoying the power seat. POTUS PJB has raised over $200 million for the Democratic party. That money helps a lot of people. Especially down ballot. After his terrible debate performance, a few Dems leaders have mentioned that POTUS PJB should consider stepping aside. Well, after the solo news conference he gave yesterday, let's see if those same Dems will do an about face and change their tune. I believe the Dems will keep POTUS PJB propped up to hopefully get re-elected. Behind the scenes, they will have some weird succession plan in the event that POTUS cannot finish the job. The 2024 POTUS choices are set: 1) Incumbent POTUS propped up by Botox shots, stem cell injections and other treatments who feels entitled to collecting all of the money from his 50+ years of gov't service. Setting up his family to be financially comfortable for generations. 2) Former POTUS Orange Julius who is a narcissistic, megalomaniac, neo-fascist, racist convict who wants to turn America into an autocracy. This clown wants to rule like a dictator and roll America back 100 years. Half the country is riding with him and fine wirh it. The choices are clear. Only thing left for voters to do is hold their noses on election day.😁😎
