  1. The USA dust-up with Iran has already cost billions of dollars. Recently, the Pentagon says they need an additional 200 billion bucks to keep up the fight. Before anyone gets dew-y eyed & surrenders their piggy-bank or cashes stocks & bonds or sell fish dinners, the Pentagon isn't strapped for cash. Considering all that wrong with the economy & folks being poor, hungry & homeless, I'm sure Americans could find something else to do with that $200 billion dollars.๐Ÿ˜Ž
  2. Probably trying to distract white folks from the Epstein files & dust-up with Iran & soaring price of gas.๐Ÿ˜Ž
  3. If a Black man steps up & loves that woman...problem solved. Entertainment & religion both try to get people to see themselves & each other in a better light. Black folks definitely have the resources to make it happen. Dark-skinned should be leading the charge in keeping themselves pumped. Black folks definitely should not put up with shade from anyone especially immigrants.๐Ÿ˜Ž
  4. Of course he didn't answer the question. Defection & deflection. The guy left a whole country of his own. Took up residence under the colonizer. No weight whatsoever.๐Ÿ˜Ž
  5. Black folk don't really have to trust &/or deal with Iranians or Arabs either. Right. Let those folks do whatever they've been doing for thousands of years. It is nobody else's bizness how a sovereign nation chooses to run its program. The only reason the USA gives a d8mn about Iran is black gold (oil) & protecting Israel. This has been ongoing since 1953 when the USA installed the shah of Iran. He was overthrown in 1979. The rest is history. A conflict that's 3/4s of a century old.๐Ÿ˜Ž
  6. I believe a bronze statue of POTUS Barack Obama will be fine & free of human sabotage in Chicago. The birds might take shots at it.๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ˜Ž
  7. Obviously. Nowhere did I type anyone wss mal-intentioned in having children. Irresponsible is the more appropriate word for people bringing children into the world & unable to provide for & protect them. There is no "don't warrant having children" philosophy or movement. No Black leaders have championdd such a thing as far I know. Many people in one way or another & for similar reasons through their actions have purposefully avoided bringing children into this world. From one generation to the next, regardless of conditions /or circumstances, people continue procreating. Such is life.๐Ÿ˜Ž
  8. The Iranian Muslims have always recognized their real *enemy*. It is not Black folks. That doesn't mean there is a strategic alliance. Iranian Muslims know Black folks have been oppressed by the same enemy. Their objective is to avoid being imperialized. Of course, when the bullets & missiles start flying, nothing prevents non-enemies from being caught in the cross-fire.๐Ÿ˜Ž
  9. The late, great Nat King Cole was a real troubadour & excellent musician. Colorism goes way back. They did this to Nat King Cole for a TV appearance: Nat King Cole was dark complexioned: Nonetheless, Nat King Cole was definitely one our musical icons.๐Ÿ˜Ž
  10. I would hope that all parents feel similarly & they would do whatever it took to keep their offspring from being hungry &/or homeless.๐Ÿ˜Ž
  11. Correct. Like was a typo. Correct If f you're going with a literal interpretation.๐Ÿ˜Ž
  12. Understood. At some point in your lifetime, I hope that you are able to relocate to Haiti or some other country that is less dysfunctional than the USA. No need to quote yourself. I understand the context. Hoping that my family members have the misfortune of medical malpractice or bad law enforcement or cheaters is not going to change me and/or cause any type of pain or suffering on my behalf. Again, such is life. I always have and will roll with the punches.๐Ÿ˜Ž
  13. Would life be any worse if they chose not to procreate? Fiscal poverty has always existed. Many people have found a way out of it too. If my forebearers had chosen not to procreate that would have been perfectly fine with me. ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜Ž
  14. Herein lies your issue. It is with the system of racism white supremacy. Please share your idea(s) of how to dismantle it. Not sure of why you would hope that everyone in my family suffers misfortune. However, I can assure you that being keenly aware of the ups & downs of life & ultimately human mortality, I've never been adversely affected emotionally by it including my own family members, friends & associates. Such is a part of life. I'm not surprised. it comes through in your posts.๐Ÿ˜Ž
  15. I would still teach the basics of computing. No different from teaching alphabets & words to children. They'll figure out soon if/when they need to use a dictionary or library or internet. AI (Artificial Intelligence) is another tool in the box. Folks wil use it to get things done faster &/or more cost effectively. Surely, some folks will use AI to enrich themselves & put others out of work. Such is life especially when it comes to technology.๐Ÿ˜Ž
  16. Again, I'll restate some people need to stop procreating. They're not too lazy to stop f8cking but cannot afford their offspring. Makes zero sense. It is selfish for people to bring children into the world & not be able to provide shelter, food & clothing for them. Broke men & women should get themselves fixed. That way, they can f8ck from sun up to sun down & not have to worry about bringing someone else into poverty & homelessness.๐Ÿ˜Ž
  17. Qualifications are determined & taught by subject matter experts in a given field. Reads like your relatives didn't hire the *right* lawyers. Many people &/or their families have won medical malpractice lawsuits. Doctors with a track record of failure lose their medical licenses. All jurisdictions put a certain amount aside for civil litigation. Some law enforcement officers have been stripped of their badges or fired or imprisoned for committing crimes. Failure of banking systems is a function of greed fueled by risky & bad investments. The qualified people know exactly what they're doing even if it means running a business into the ground. Experience & track record among other factors separates the amateurs & pros. There are penalties for failure. We don't always hear about it. Qualifications do not equal perfection. Humans are flawed. They will make mistakes too. However, I believe legitimate doctors save more lives than they lose.๐Ÿ˜Ž
  18. IMO, Al Jarreau's musical legacy will be bringing Jazz vocal stylings & scat to R&B & Pop music.๐Ÿ˜Ž
  19. Sly Stone was very important to music. He gave R&B an edge & inspired Jazz musicians to embrace electronic instruments. Sly was a huge influence on Miles Davis & by extension, the list of musicians who came through Davis' finishing school.๐Ÿ˜Ž
  20. I would prefer that a brain surgeon be *qualified* to perform that work. Nobody wants their head cut open & brain exposed by someone who watched a few Youtube videos & think they got it.๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ˜Ž
  21. Right. At one point during the pandemic, they kept mentioning how elderly people were more susceptible to & likely to die from the virus. They had old people shook. During that time, NF Jr. must have been in that number. He wasn't too concerned about the tricks &/or *poison* white supremacists mandated. ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜Ž
  22. Sure, i believe in 1st come 1st served in hiring as long as folks are *qualified* to do the *work*.๐Ÿ˜Ž
  23. As an elderly person, he was afraid to get the virus & die. We see how that worked out.๐Ÿคฃ Understood. The code is just a guide. It was never promoted or intended to be gospel.๐Ÿ˜Ž
  24. Using one's *power* to get s8xual favors is small ball & totally different from exercising a minor role in upholding & maintaining the system of racism white supremacy. NF Jr. had something to say about s8x & when & how it should be utilized too.๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜Ž
  25. There have been short-lived movements that promoted Black love & pride. Back in the 1970s, James Brown & Muhammad Ali were heavy promoters of Black love & pride. Movies were made featuring Black folks in our own natural looks, fashion, speech & flavor. The Native Tongues (Jungle Brothers, A Tribe Called Quest, De La Soul) & Public Enemy, KRS-One, Brand Nubian, Nas, Gang Starr, Common, The Roots, & many others within the Hip-Hop commmunity were Pro-Black. Same goes for R&B artists like D'Angelo, Angie Stone, Meshell NdegeOcello, Jill Scott, Lauryn Hill, India.Arie, etc. TV shows & movies have been made showing Black beauty & love & pride. The argument can be made that FBA/AfroAmericans have done far more especially through entertainment & education to promote Black love & pride. Surely, we see Black women lightening themselves with cosmetics & dyeing their hair & wearing wigs. In fairness, Black women have been doing this for many decades. It isn't new. Colorism started way back on the slave plantations. Centuries of conditioning & programming. Gonna take a long time to undo.๐Ÿ˜Ž
