I realize this fella (Lil Nas X) is in the entertainment business. He's not a role model by any stretch of the imagination. Still, the drop squad should have gotten to him a long time ago.

First thing we need to know is whether or not AfroAmerican politicians are actually interested in Black empowerment. If the politicians are only looking to enrich themselves in one way or another, nothing else matters to them especially not making Black lives better. Case in point...the current Vice POTUS has no desire to help Black folks. Securing Black votes and token spokesperson for the Democratic party are her primary objectives and responsibilities.

Smart move. Each generation has its hurdles to jump and crosses to bear. Roll with what you *know* and leave this *new* sh8t for those coming up behind us.

What are the chances of Trump going to prison.
ProfD replied to Delano's topic in Culture, Race & Economy
The NY DA wasn't interested in putting the former POTUS in handcuffs or behind bars. The whole exercise was a charade. Another show under the big top circus featuring the clown. -
Major cities need to do a better of providing an environment for the brightest young folks to thrive while growing and inspire them to build their lives there. The mayor of Washington DC was born and raised in the city. It definitely allows her to connect with the residents, young to old and poor to rich.

What. Are. Black. Christians. ??????
ProfD replied to harry brown's topic in Culture, Race & Economy
For a long time now, Black folks have used religion as handed down to them from white folks as a coping mechanism to deal with the system of mental slavery system created by white folks. In relationship speak...it's complicated. -
What happened in TN is a great example of how racism white supremacy is still alive in America. The system of white supremacy has been so fine tuned now that they can give non-white folks the illusion of power or having a voice and snatch it away. White supremacists even know the Black people playbook when it comes to airing their grievances. The craziest part of this situation is that the expelled two young AfroAmerican TN state ssenators were protesting the latest gun violence carried out with an assault style weapon that took the lives of 8 white folks (3 children) and 1 AfroAmerican man. But, the majority GOP senate body was mostly determined to put those young AfroAmerican men back in their place. They didn't expel the white woman who stood with them. Racism written all over that situation here in 2023. Regardless of whether or not they are reinstated, I hope the two young AfroAmerican TN state senators will keep up their movement. With their social mediia platforms, young AfroAmericans have a vehicle for confronting racism white supremacy.

@Delano, these indictments really won't go anywhere once the clown gets the GOP nomination. A POTUS candidate has a certain amount of immunity from prosecution.

By design. Poverty, drug abuse and crime help to sustain the American economy.

https://apnews.com/article/chicago-mayor-election-johnson-vallas-838d2740994587d0eb0cbbfb04cd55cc Mayor-elect Brandon Johnson will succeed Lori Lightfoot in the Windy City. Mayor Johnson believes he will be able to tackle the crime problem through a holistic approach of 1) more detectives, 2) more job opportunities for young people, 3) better housing and 4) keeping guns out of the city. It would be awesome if the n8gglets in Chicago took it upon themselves to stop killing each other. Getting rid of the gangs would reduce the crime rate overnight. Eliminating drugs would clean up the rest. The reality is there is no money in curing human dysfunction. However, problem people keep the criminal justice system and hospitals and prisons in business. Good luck to brotha Brandon Johnson. He has taken on a tall order. The best way to eat it is one bite at a time.

As I mentioned in another thread, the AfroAmerican community seems to be content with the status quo. The best we can do as Black men is to protect and provide for the women, children and elderly within our immediate community. We have to build and connect with other strong Black men who are doing the same thing. Exponential growth with like-minded folks is the best path to building a community that could be self-sufficient and on code.
-
Slow down bro. None of that is in the indictment. I've read the charging document. It's already being reported that this NY case is flimsy at best. In fact, this indictment could help him secure the GOP nomination.

So, the former has been charged with falsifying business records in the 1st degree. Misdemeanor. Each of the 34 counts is basically one of the checks written out to the following: 1) porn star 2) doorman to keep his mouth shut about child fathered with housekeeper 3) to 'catch and kill' a news story First, NY has to prove the former POTUS orchestrated these payments. Even if found guilty, the charge is a misdemeanor that could be punishable by up to 1 year in prison. The State of NY would not sentence a former POTUS to serve time for such a crime. This whole charade is hoping the dude will drop out of the POTUS race. Not gonna happen. In reality, the Democrats best chance of getting POTUS Biden re-elected is by running against former POTUS DT again.
-
I've seen Lucy snatch the football away from Charlie Brown enough times to know he's never going to kick. The former POTUS has been under investigation for various things ever since before he was elected. He's been impeached twice. Several cases are being made against him. So far, nothing seems to stick to the guy. We'll see.
-
The former POTUS will be released on personal recognizance. The average citizen would not have been indicted for this misdemeanor but if so, I believe they would get similar treatment. Of course, the average citizen wouldn't be flying in on a private jet with secret service agents and escorted to the courthouse in w motorcade. Then, there's the media coverage.

Yep. I'm fairly certain that Black folks worldwide are content with the status quo based on what I'm seeing from their actions and images. Western culture has made it's way around the globe. Freedom, independence, autonomy and sovereignty are no longer priorities. AfroAmericans and Black folks in general are good with being able to do *some* of the same sh8t as white folks.
-
Despite the laws of the land and waiting for white folks to intervene, AfroAmericans could take matters into their own hands when it comes to 1) identifying problem people and 2) dealing with them. The 1st people to recognize a problem person are their parent(s). Unfortunately, unlike the animal kingdom, human beings do not kill their offspring that show signs of mental and/or physical disabilities. The 2nd people to recognize a problem person are family, friends and neighbors i.e. the community. Instead of containing or neutralizing the threat, we normalize it and come up with sh8t like no snitching. Mothers show up in court begging and pleading on behalf of their murderous offspring. They knew that n8gglet was a potential problem. @Pioneer1, I know you have a vision of an autonomous utopian AfroAmerican community. In order to bring a self-sufficient AfroAmerican community to fruition, there's a lot we can within the existing structure to start the process of building it. As always, the rising tide for AfroAmericans starts with strong and intelligent Black men.
-
@frankster, as usual, you're killing it in this thread too. Bravo bro.

Mental illness is problem throughout American society. Dysfunctional people exist for a number of reasons. A lot of it stems from environmental factors. I wish the Supreme Being kept certain people from having the ability to procreate. But, I guess seeing the worst of humanity is some kind of lesson to the rest of us. A tighter community could possibly identify a potential human monster but I'm not so sure that it could prevent one. That monster would have to be contained or destroyed before it got out of hand.

Gotcha. No confusion. Text based discussions require nuance because it's different from in-person. It is a fact that ugly people are sitting at home and nobody's hitting then up for s8x. But, the same goes for non-ugly people too. There's definitely more to being avoided s8xually than being ugly. That's another whole discussion.
-
@Pioneer1... Without statistical data, 'many' and 'most' are semantic in a discussion. Also, there are always exceptions. That should always be a given too. To eliminate confusion, I usually avoid providing anecdotal information. I slipped off code in my last post. However, the fact remains that my examples are a microcosm of what many or most ugly people are doing especially behind closed doors. They're f8cking too.
-
I don't think NF Jr. ever had a wife or kids. He even tells us his teachings are a guide. Use what is most beneficial. Jealousy is a negative emotion like greed, envy and hate. It's destructive at best. Nothing good comes out of it. Anger is a natural emotion too. One must be prepared to pay the mental and physical price if it leads to a destructive outcome. Desire is no different than a dream if there is no action. A man has do the work that puts him in a position to call shots. Men in other cultures aren't holding the women as hostages. Thr women have been indoctrinated by their culture. The women are on code too.
-
The evidence contradicts your statements. Many 'ugly' folks end up with children. Somebody's hitting them. The same people who will make fun of and diss someone as ugly will creep back over to them late at night. Back in my youth, I remember two sisters whose faces made them look like old women. One of them always smelled like p8ss. Neighborhood dudes would make fun of those girls but used them to lose their virginity. There was another 'ugly' chick in the neighborhood who was gross too. Yet, one of my boys knocked her up. A man will tap an 'ugly' woman if they get horny enough. Same goes for fat women. A woman will sleep with an 'ugly' man if he has money and/or is well endowed. People are funny creatures. They will say one thing in a crowd and do the opposite in the dark.

Several factors play a part in human size and shape but a few are genetics, diet and exercise. Obesity as defined was codified by the medical community decades ago. However, we have the latitude of rejecting the definition of obesity when it comes to personal preferences.

Right. That dye job is ridiculous especially because dude is going to ruin pillowcases.
