  1. You're right. They claim Prigozhin has a body double. They've also said that could have already been dead. We'll only know what they want to tell us and that still could be untrue.๐Ÿ˜Ž
  2. Neither Fani Willis nor Letiticia James (NY) before her have lost their minds. They are doing their jobs. OTOH, Rep. James Jordan and the House don't have more important work to do with taxpaper money other than try to keep the former POTUS out of court and/or jail. Interesting how quickly they go after Black women who dare challenge a rich white man. Granted, I still don't believe the former POTUS will end up behind bars. There will be some kind of plea deal that keeps him free.๐Ÿ˜Ž
  3. IMO, from an individual perspective, AfroAmericans have made a significant amount of progress since the March on Washington 60 years ago. I believe that as a group, AfroAmericans have been in a holding pattern for about 50 years. Partly because it seems the folks who marched on Washington gave up the fight in the 1970s after our leadership was assassinated in the late 1960s. Black folks were not exempt from the free love movement of the 1960s. Black folks have been kicking it with other races over the same period of time. No shortage of war babies all grown up now. The rise in Black on Black crime grew in proportion to the drug epidemic starting in the 1970s with heroin through to the 1980s and crack cocaine. Hip-Hop is multifaceted. The "garbage booty shaking" music in only one flavor of Hip-Hop. However, like junk food, the most negative aspects of Hip-Hop are promoted by design. McDonald's isn't the most nutritious food one could eat but it sells. The question one must ask is why would record companies promote the most negative aspects of the music over the airwaves instead of the positively conscience. Well known rapper Jay-Z on his song Moment of Clarity says, "Truth be told, if skills sold, lyrically I'd be Talib Kweli, truthfully I wanna rhyme like Common Sense but I did 5 mill-I ain't been rhyming like Common since..." Pause the genius of his wordplay for a moment. The point Jay-Z is making is that there is no money in positive messages. Again, IMO, "the spiritual and moral destruction of the Black 'person'" is the self-hating and self-defeating construct of Black folks who have given up the fight against racism white supremacy. If ever there was a point that Black people were spiritually and morally grounded, we would have never been enslaved in the 1st place and Jim Crow'd and the rest. The best thing for most old negroes to do is go have several seats somewhere. Especially those who failed to make significant progress for AfroAmericans in their prime. They have zero right to sit back and criticize where Black folks are today. Most of the old Black talking heads and political figures nowadays are race hustlers. They talk a good game primarily to line their own pockets being gatekeepers for the system of racism white supremacy.๐Ÿ˜Ž
  4. Bro, nothing I write would suggest Black people are stupid maybe with the exception of being followers of certain political figures.๐Ÿ˜ Despite the # of posts I generate on the discussion forum, I don't have time to deep dive into the historical aspects of why things happen. Rest assured that I do have the information in my pocket. Otherwise, I just try to be less verbose and long-winded. I hope you can appreciate that.๐Ÿ˜Ž
  5. The NFL would implode without Black athletes...plain and simple. The NFL without Black players would be similar to watching a football game between two Division III teams.๐Ÿคฃ The NFL has crafted a well-oiled enterprise that feeds a lot of folks who don't suit up and play the games. College football is the NFL farm system. They pay college coaches millions of dollars to showcase talent. The TV rights and media deals are huge. The broadcasting opportunities benefit failed and former athletes alike. Black players are paid just well enough to tow the line and do nothing to upset the apple cart. Because Black players won't buck the system, the NFL marches on making money and throwing shade at us in the process.๐Ÿ˜Ž
  6. @Troy, it's all over the news. Here's an article: https://www.cbsnews.com/atlanta/news/trump-co-defendant-black-voices-for-trump-member-remains-in-custody-without-bail/ "Court records do not list an attorney for Floyd in the Georgia case. Jail records show he was being held with no bond, unlike other defendants in the case who had attorneys negotiate bonds with a judge before their surrender." I thought the purpose of having friends in high places was for times like this when one needs a life line. ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ˜Ž
  7. Absolutely.๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿฟ Black folks need to do a better job of recognizing and embracing our natural abilities and talent to produce. More importantly, Black folks have to own and control their intellectual properties instead of selling ownership to outsiders. We need codification. For example, Hip-Hop just turned 50 years old. The culture has generated a lot of money. Many Black folks have been able to eat very well from it. Imagine if Black folks owned every aspect of Hip-Hop. The NFL and NBA are two sports Black folks dominate. We bring every ounce of talent, flair and flavor to the games. Yet, we don't own a team. Working for someone else provides capital. Ownership produces wealth. We need to move away from gross consumerism and become more productive in providing and owning goods and services folks need/want. Asians make 97% of their money in Black communities. They don't sell anything speculative. Every product and service sells itself. Black folks need to do better in terms of entrepreneurship before they are replaced by immigrants and AI in the labor force.๐Ÿ˜Ž
  8. Some of these corporations become so large, the government buys from and/or consults with them on global issues. For example, Elon Musk, a foreigner, talks to Ukraine, Russia and NASA equally. Musk has the technology, products and services they all need.๐Ÿ˜Ž
  9. Of the 19 co-defendants in the case, Harrison Floyd, the only AfroAmerican onboard had to spend the night in jail. Harrison Floyd was subjected to the full inmate experience incluidng a stripped down body cavity search. Meanwhile the other co-defendants show up and go through the booking process and leave. The former POTUS showed up in Georgia on a private jet. He had a full presidential motorcade. His booking process took 20 minutes. He was back on the plane and at his home in New Jersey a couple hours later. Harrison Floyd is/was the leader of Black Voices for Trump. I'm sure this whole experience hasn't shaken this n8gglet's faith in Orange Julius. ๐Ÿ˜Ž
  10. The most dangerous in the GOP clown car of candidates aka field of dreamers is Vivek Ramaswamy aka Ramen Noodles. Ramaswamy is an Ivy League educated guy who talks like a used car salesman on coke, candy and Ritalin. He's too smart for his own good. The GOP base won't get behind an Indian-American. Especially not someone who thinks he's smarter than them. But, Ramaswamy's real goal could be a cabinet level position if 45 is nominated and wins. Ramaswamy would love to be a government hatchet man. The rest of the candidates have about as much personality as paint drying. Other than Chris Cupcake Christie, none of them opposes the former POTUS.๐Ÿ˜Ž
  11. Unfortunately, the sellout has been real for a very long time. No matter how successful some Black folks become, there is something about the white man's ice that makes it more appealing. Amaz8n doesn't need Black folks but surely, Jeff B. will take our money too.๐Ÿ˜Ž
  12. My belief is that we should find a way to live our lives to the fullest at all times. Surround yourself with good people and love. Do not spend too much time around toxic folks.๐Ÿ˜Ž
  13. The *problem* is that just like religion, AfroAmericans have been indoctrinated in the current political system. They cannot *see* the need for an alternative. ๐Ÿ˜Ž
  14. Agreed. The trolls don't stick around for too long.๐Ÿ˜Ž
  15. We should be mindful of what we consume whether it's information or food or entertainment. Most adults have the ability to separate fact from fiction in order to enjoy books and movies and music accordingly. Same goes for the folks with whom we choose to associate. Surround yourself with good people i.e. love.๐Ÿ˜Ž
  16. Short answer....nothing. It's only been over 50 years and counting. I'm inclined to believe the chances that AfroAmericans will fight for reparations will get slimmer with each passing generation. That's the long game white supremacists are playing. They're letting time whitewash our history. They want America to be further removed from its original sin. IMO, the AfroAmericans who were adults in the 1970s failed us because they didn't pick up the torch and fight for reparations. There's plenty AfroAmericans who are 65 years and older. Ask them why they didn't fight for reparations and this is how they look: Instead, through the 1970s and 1980s, AfroAmericans were glad to get the benefits of Affirmative Action and a few goodies and giveaways to shut up and enjoy life. Partying and BSing. A decent education, jobs, houses and cars was enough to satiate and/or quell any type of movement towards reparations and ending the system of racism white supremacy. Back in the 1970s, many AfroAmericans made fun of militant brothas and sistas who still felt racism white supremacy was a problem. Fast-forward to present and the older AfroAmericans especially in positions of leadership do more to maintain the status quo: These people have been appointed as trustees in maintaining the system of racism white supremacy. They need to be replaced with AfroAmericans who are willing to put in real work towards reparations. ๐Ÿ˜Ž
  17. The former POTUS called the Georgia Secretary of State looking for 11,780 votes in order to flip the election. The POTUS' surrogates called down to Georgia harassing folks about the election outcome. Georgia District Attorney Fani Willis put a case together based on evidence. DA Willis could be politically motivated. We'll see. But, that recorded phone call from the former POTUS to the GA SOS is a smoking gun.๐Ÿ˜Ž
  18. @Troy Everything is IMO of course... AfroAmerican leadership was assassinated in the late 1960s. Civil Rights was the main issue back when AfroAmericans had strong leaders. They didn't have enough bandwidth to tackle reparations too. A few years after the legislation was signed, our leaders were killed off. I believe those killings (Malcolm X, Medgar Evers, Fred Hampton, Martin Luther King Jr,, etc.,) neutered and/or altered the future of potential AfroAmerican leadership. The grassroots is definitely where the action is in terms of taking on reparations. Hopefully, the folks willing to tackle it will gain more support and resources. Self-hate is the only reason I can imagine any ADOS/FBA would be against reparations. However, the programming under racism white supremacy is very real.๐Ÿ˜Ž
  19. Reparations is an uphill climb because unlike the 1960s, there's no movement to demand it. If Civil Rights was a struggle, reparations will be a battle. The AfroAmerican community (ADOS/FBA) does not have enough leadership and coordination of resources to take on the fight. Many AfroAmericans have been anesthetized and distracted by access to higher places and/or gross consumerism within the system of racism white supremacy. Other AfroAmericans have simply given up hope believing that it's impossible or too hard. Then, there's the indifferent... Ask the average AfroAmerican if they are interested in fighting for reparations. Wait for their response....๐Ÿ˜Ž
  20. Bro, don't stop your bread (ad revenue) over a hiccup.๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ˜Ž
  21. Therein lies the difference. We know the GOP isn't down wirh us. Makes no sense to grumble and complain about them. Democrats bend over backwards getting Black folks to vote for them and want to insult those who don't follow the program. In the meantime, neither party is doing anything specifically to help Black folks. But, in one way or another, both political parties are rolling out the red carpet for illegal immigrants and creating sanctuary cities to house, clothe and feed them. Then, there's Ukraine. Again, both parties are united in providing billions of dollars to a country in a proxy war they cannot win. That's why I'll keep saying the political parties are two sides of the same coin especially when it comes to maintaining the system of racism white supremacy. Black folks are useful tools to politicians...but expendable.๐Ÿ˜Ž
  22. Brotha Tyrone Muhammad is tracking it in the right direction. I'm glad he put that 21 years to good use in strengthening his mental muscle.๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿฟ Also, I'm in agreement with brotha Muhammad's position on the topics they covered. Shout out to brotha Phil for giving him the platform to launch.โœŠ๐Ÿฟ I'm also glad the new Black MBlack exists to show there are AfroAmericans who do understand the system of racism white supremacy and how it works. Black folks are still enslaved with invisible chains on every level (mental, physical, spiritual, financial, etc.). ๐Ÿ˜Ž
  23. Yep. Even when they kill each other i.e. war, they're still on code when it comes to maintaining the system of racism white supremacy. The US provides financial aid and assistance to frienemies foreign and domestic all over the planet. ๐Ÿ˜Ž
  24. Europeans definitely aren't interested in helping African countries. On some straight up pimp sh8t, France is threatening military action against Niger if they can't continue getting Uranium. Meanwhile, Niger doesn't have enough electricity to keep its citizens from sitting in the dark at night. Imagine what Niger could do with that Uranium if France wasn't jacking it. ๐Ÿ˜Ž
  25. @Cynique, Happy 90th b'day.๐Ÿฅณ Congrats on the milestone especially considering you look/appear to be in good health.๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿฟ We know the peanut gallery keeps your mind, er, tongue sharp.๐Ÿคฃ As always, thanks for checking in instead of checking out.๐Ÿค—๐Ÿ˜Ž
