I think black folks should definitely spend more time at the gun range. I have a blast there.😉 A trip to the gun range does two (2) things, 1) teaches folks how to use weapons and 2) exposes them to the power of firearms. While folks think it's easy because of TV or whatever, everybody ain't built to point and squeeze or qualified to do so. Contrary to the murders we read and hear about in black communities, black folks aren't into guns nearly as heavily as white folks. We should know the various types of firearms and be proficient in using them.😎

The good news is that I do not live in a tyrannical police state. The bad news is that n8gglets are killing folks with no regard for human life and committing other crimes. Road rage or looking at someone the wrong way should not end up in death. Respect for life and accountability across the board is totally necessary. Black folks need to demand both that n8gglets and police see fellow human beings and not a paper target at the gun range. Real life isn't a video game. Folks don't jump back up when they get shot, stabbed, choked out or beat up. 😎

True that. 😁 In keeping with the teachings of NF Jr. and not necessarily to the contrary, I believe gatherings can be positive. It has to be controlled by the elders of the family and/or community. There was a time when more black men were looked up to and respected by their women and children and extended family and community. Case in point...my grandfathers were like EF Hutton. They were either admired or feared but always respected by everyone they knew. I'm definitely their grandson in every way.😁 Many factors go into the collapse and dysfunction of our families and communities. It takes a lot to rebuild but mainly comes down to men stepping up to the plate in a major way. We gotta control our n8gglets.😎

My idea of a church is a meeting place to discuss problems and solutions. As I wrote in another thread, celebrating holidays should be a time for teaching and discussion as well. We definitely don't need to set aside special days to act a fool. That's already an ongoing thing. 😁😎

Yep. I'm not into the religious and/or commercialized aspects of holidays. For me, holidays are about family and friends gathering for food and fellowship. It's a great time for teaching and discussion instead of playing games and cussing.😁 Hopefully, any knowledge and information passed along during those gatherings will motivate folks to lead healthier and more prosperous lives daily. 😎

Facts. As I mentioned in another thread, where I grew up,, the police looked like us. The only time we feared the police is when we were in the wrong. 😎

Correct. The level of dysfunction whether it's rampant crime and/or heavy handed law enforcement especially in big cities is "good for business" when it comes to politics. A lot of people eat off the apple that is crime from law enforcement to judicial system, prisons and funeral homes to name a few. 😎

The scariest part of the indoctrination program is getting smart folks to buy into and spread it. If these n8gglets used that energy in a different way, black folks would be one of the most powerful forces on the planet. 😎

Two years in development caught my attention because it coincides with pandemic outbreak. SARS-CoV (Severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus) was identified in 2003. Scientists have had almost 20 years to play with the virus from mutation to deployment to treatment. That's why they want to hide the file for five decades. Follow the money and watch their hands. 😎

IMO, believing in Jesus is neither moronic nor is it a strike against one's intelligence. It's no different from kids believing in Santa Claus.😁 My hope is that human beings will be good to each other because it's the right thing to do and not just because they want toys, er, to spend eternity with a fictitious figure.😎

In related news, as folks are faced with the Omicron variant, there are long lines of people waiting to be tested in certain places. The government is pushing to have about 500 million home test kits available. A former virus czar thinks we should be producing 1-2 billion test kits per month. I cannot help but to wonder why we have never had test kits for the flu or common cold. 😁😎

That was a dumb decision to slash the police budget in a city with the highest murder rate in the country. That's like burning brand new KN95 masks and pouring vaccine down the drain in the middle of a pandemic.😁 The city of Chicago should be paying police to work overtime in an effort to control crime. The mayor doesn't need ATF. She needs to WTF (wake the f8ck) up and empower the resources at her disposal.😎

That's a complicated question. But, in my optimism, I do believe a few decades from now, humanity will 'correct' in such a way that police won't kill black folks to the point that it leads to outrage and/or protests. 😎

IMO, the inclusion of Blondie's "Rapture" on a Hip-Hop anthology wasn't necessary. It may have been a Jeff Chang decision. 😁 I'm glad Sequence "Funk You Up" was included. For those who don't know, that group had a young lady named B Angie B better known today as R&B soul singer Angie Stone. 😎

Yep. I was aware of the Smithsonian Hip-Hop anthology. The curation committee included Chuck D, MC Lyte, Questlove? and 9th Wonder. They should know better. So, it really makes no sense whatsoever that Boogie Down Productions (Scott La Rock & KRS-1) "Bridge Is Over" isn't included in the anthology.😎

After rushing the vax to market and encouraging folks to get stuck, the lack of transparency on the back end is a head scratcher. There should be no reason to hide something especially if it's intended to save millions of lives. 😎

Yeah, strong arming folks for some raggedy azz sports memorabilia was definitely the dumbest thing to do. I thought the Juice was auditioning for a movie role when I first heard about that robbery.😁 There's one man who will be hounding OJ for that $33.5M until he goes to the grave. 😁 The craziest part is OJ lives in a $1.8M house with access to a Bentley. He gets a $25k per month pension from the NFL that cannot be touched by the civil lawsuit. All he has to do stay low. 😎
