  1. You're welcome. Fasten your seat belt. it might be a bumpy ride.
  2. @Troy That's right. Why waste your time? This guy is inflicted with the cognitive dissonance virus. NOTHING you say will change his mind. These anti-vaxxer conspiracy theorists are akin to cult members.
  3. @Mioneeer Go wash your finger before it rots off. @Pzuri: sly, condescending, manipulative, stimulated... the list grows.
  4. Your days are numbered, stink bug.
  5. @TroyYes, i understand this, which is why I've always claimed that the black experience is different from person to person. i grew up in a small midwestern town, a suburb of Chicago in the 1930s during the Great Depression. My parents were among the first wave of the Great Migration, coming north seeking better lives for themselves. My wholesome formative years read like a black version of the comic book character Archie Andrews. I've always lived in interracial environments, all the schools I attended were integrated, never had a black teacher. Even during the Depression my parents owned their own home, had a car and steady jobs, my father as a Pullman porter, my mother as a maid for wealthy white people . And, as I have marveled at many times on this board, to the chagrin of some, in the early 1950s during the 2 years i spent at the University of Illinois, when the Civil Rights movement was coming into fruition spurred by the murder of Emmitt Till and Rosa Parks' refusal to give up her front seat on the bus, as a member of the matriculating Freshman class, i and a few other blacks integrated the women's dormitories at this Big 10 university. As a result, when blacks began their march for equality, I was living in a facility kept clean by white maids, eating in a dining room where i was served by a white wait staff. The AKA sorority house where i later lived was the only one in the entire country that existed on a white campus as, were the houses of The Kappas, Alphas, and Deltas. Yes, my upbringing was different - and possibly a lot more typical than others might think. Who has the credentials to speak for all black people?
  6. How hard is it to finish high school? What do you have better to do? How hard is it to not get pregnant? Birth control is readily available. How hard is it to get a minimum wage starter job? A survey was part of this PEW study. In questioning those who had made their way up in life, doing these 3 things were what the majority of them had in common. But people who make their living in social service and all of its spin offs find excuses for those they serve. Helping the needy is an industry unto itself.
  7. ...sly, condescending - manipulative; the list grows. Girl, bye. (Do me a favor, Pioneer. Give Mzuri the finger for me. We'll both appreciate it.)
  8. I never even saw this response until now. It got lost in shuffle. i was so busy bickering with Mzuri and Pioneer and wading through their convoluted formats that i missed it. OK. It's all good. Right. And in the true spirit of dissing I might add, with a grin on my face, that any young men who took your advice would have to be musty, funky, wacked scrubs themselves who couldn't attract anything but a hard up old broad.
  9. No way. In the competition for the busy body, you win. Sly and patronizing...
  10. White Supremists can't wait to crush you like a roach.
  11. You have turned into my worst nightmare. A female version of pioneer. You've never met a situation that you didn't immediately supply your own explanation for. "Sly" is the word that comes to mind when i assess you. Oh, and i cant forget "patronizing". Babble on.
  12. Of course, I should've remembered that in Pioneervill , you control what the world has been waiting to hear. I'm sure economists and sociologists, in particular have been waiting with bated breath for you to supply this information so that can include it in their curricula and text books.
  13. @Mzuri& @Pioneer1Talk about 2 busybodies! The last time i checked, ProfD was a grown man, intelligent and capable of speaking for himself, without Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum running interference for him, framing your trumped up scenarios, as usual, and cross examining me like i owe you an explanation. This is a dialogue between me and him and when he is ready to speak for himself, it will begin. Just because you 2 have to prop each other up doesn't mean he can't stand on his own 2 feet. If he doesn't feel the need to justify himself, that's fine. Sometimes a word to the wise is sufficient, - so that leaves you 2 stooges out. Now go somewhere and play pattie cake.
  14. I don't totally agree with you self-styled categorizations. Have you checked the definition of the word "aristocrat" - which is not a common designation in America. Aristocrat: A member of a ruling class or of the nobility. 2. A person having the tastes, manners, or other characteristics of the aristocracy. Definition of aristocracy: the highest social class in some countries : the people who have special titles (such as duke and duchess), You're using money to define class. Money can't buy class. e.g. there's a difference between middleclass and middle income. They have different value systems. There are plenty of families who aren't billionaires but whose members were born with "silver spoons in their mouths" and have inherited wealth and property, and have the "blue blood" running through their veins that qualifies them to be upper class. There are first generation billionaires who do not have distinguished family blood lines. Mark Zuckerberg and Jeff Bezos are not high class. They are just filthy rich.
  15. "if I may tell young fellas overflowing with testosterone how they should interpret this PSA: Hunt thirsty well beyond menopause cougars. Buy a pair of rose colored glasses to make them look vivacious and a tub of K-Y Jelly to make them more pliable. If you're really lucky, she'll love to f8ck and cook and may have a few coins too. Do not spend the night as you may not appreciate how she smells and prepares for bed and/or how she looks in the morning when she awakes."
  16. OK, Mzuri, you can dry your crocodile tears now. Cat Woman has been fended off.
  17. @ProfDWell, now that you've settled into the flow, what do you think of the cast of characters on this board? I'm sure you've bonded with some and have your favorites and are maybe even a little surprised that we are not all one big happy family who march in lock step. I'm wouldn't be surprised if you were somewhat disillusioned with me. And, i must say that, I was a little disappointed in the salacious advice you gave to young men on the "Unsolicited Advice" thread, especially since you ordinarily deplore disrespectful behavior on their part. I didn't get what TV show inspired your malicious sexist, ageist, degrading ridicule of black women. But, apparently nobody else had a problem with this because they all thought it was funny. Anyhow, as you may be concluding this site is just a microcosm of TWITTER; a cross section of people from all walks of life drawing on experiences filtered through their personal approaches to the world. The atmosphere here did clear up for a minute but it has pretty much returned to being an echo chamber for black grievances. So be it. See ya on YouTube. Maybe.
  18. Oh puleeze. I'm having fun! sour puss, hell You and your passive aggressiveness kill me. Go stroke your new pet. MEoooow
  19. in your new status as Mzuri's lap dog you do. Since you didn't deny it, I assume you're still humping chairs.
  20. Seeing things wrong, as usual. I announced that this divorce was final weeks ago. Now stop humping the chair leg and go wait in your kennel until its time for your appointment at the Vet to get your shots.
  21. Well it's official. Pioneer has regurgitated his approval of my assessment. Sorry, Michele and Barack, you don't make the cut but give it a couple of more generations if your daughters don't marry fortune hunters who squander their inherited money.
  22. I just saw this. Amazing. At the tender age of 88 years, by decree of Mzuri, I have suddenly acquired an "affinity" for cats, creatures whom I've always been able to take or leave, actually preferring dogs, but not really caring that much about any animals at all. Mew Mew. Pass the milk. Only thing topping this is that summa cum laude graduate from Pioneer's University of Opinionated Bull Shit, thinks I go for him. Pass the barf bag. Such is life. Good Night All.
  23. Not if you do them in sequence. or you can chew gum and walk at the same time.
  24. The PEW institute, after much research, offers a very simple formula as a stepping stone to a better life. But Liberals dismiss it as being simple solutions to complicated problems. PEW says: [1] Don't be a high school drop-out, (2)Delay pregnancy (3) get a job.
  25. i@ c @Chevdove Hi, long time no chat. I'm sure the murder rumor will be the latest hook the conspiracy theory crowd latches onto. i hear the Evangelicals are now saying that the vaccine contains tissue from aborted babies...
