Interesting......... What about handicapped people or people with disabilities? Do you consider them "losers" too?

Yall a straight up MESS with this "both sides" business...lol. You remind me of Donald Trump talking about "both sides" were to blame at that Nazi rally down in Virginia, claiming there were good and bad people on "both sides". And lines were crossed on "both sides". And just like Donald Trump failed to recognize that the behavior of the protestors were a REACTION to the ACTION of the Nazis. Some of you fail to acknowledge that my hostility towards Kalexander is a result of HIS BEHAVIOR that he initiated towards me. Kalexander has..... 1. Insulted both my Parents 2. Threatened bodily harm 3. Told out right LIES about my identity (Troy I know you said no insults and I'm not sure if that would be considered an insult but when you asked him if he could back up his allegations he admitted he couldn't so I'd consider it more of a fact than an insult) If no one considers the above behavior "crossing the line" then please tell me WHAT IS "the line" and how do we know when it's been crossed? If talking about your parents and children aren't crossing the line during a disagreement over politics....... Then break out the text book and show men WHAT constitutes crossing the line and what does a person have to say in order that we can agree that the line has been crossed.

If you have hackers monitoring and causing problems on this site, who's to say they couldn't steal your pictures and other personal information that you've put out? Trying to maintain a sense of privacy with an intrusive government is enough for you to worry about....you don't need more worries from feeding hackers and racist trolls.

Troy Something weird is going on. I'm having a hard time posting on half of the threads, and on the other half Cynique's profile and features come up instead of mine. THIS thread is the only thread I managed to get through on. I can't even send you a private message because THAT feature is also acting up.

Why is Cynique's profile inside my account? Or is my profile in hers? And the time on when people posted are all off. Am I the only one experiencing this phenomena???

Cynique Victims of society are losers even if this isn't entirely of their own making. You become a winner when you find or are provided a way to successfully overcome your negative circumstances and go on to survive or even thrive. Troy I understand your point, but I'm not sure if you're understanding mine..... I KNOW where those nations are located, but IT DOESN'T MATTER whether or not the country is in Africa or not the term "Middle East" has more to do with culture than continent. Egypt, Lybia, and Morocco may be in Africa but it's CONTROLLED by Arabs and it's culture is an Arabic culture. And yes Israel and Iran is part of Middle Eastern culture because of their history. Hebrew is a Semetic language like Arabic. Israel has a large population of Arabs still within it's borders. Persian or Farsi is written in Arabic and Iran is a predominately Muslim nation. I understand YOUR point that these nations are in the continent of Africa, but you're looking at maps and I'm talking about how many of the people from those nations see THEMSELVES. ...especially those from Egypt and Morocco that I've talked to. They share far more in common with other Arabs from places like Syria and Bahrain, than they do Black folks from Zimbabwe or Angola. Neither you nor I invented the term "Middle East". I'm not sure how productive it would be for us to wrangle over it's exact meaning of a tern neither of us invented or have control over. If the media and even the Eyptian government wants to call Egypt the Middle East and align it with Syria and Iraq....what can me, you, or any of the Black controlled nations in Africa do about it? That's what White Supremacy does. It causes confusion and have people of color arguing among themselves over politics, religion, geography, and everything else. Meanwhile the Caucasians who ORCHESTRATED IT and the terms being used aren't arguing over anything but which one of them gets the biggest share of the wealth and resources they're sucking from the land....lol.

Show me on any other discussion board where someone else has suggested that righteous Black men organize and march into the ghettoes of America to clean them up. The only other group that I can think of who has seriously proposed this is the Nation of Islam. there are programs and resources available and 2-parent homes within the black middle class which turn out young black men who are not losers. Perhaps you need to define what you mean by "loser". In my opinion, a healthy young Black man isn't a "loser" simply because he may be incarcerated or financially broke. The problem MAY NOT lay with him, but in the SOCIETY that he's living in. The same young Black man on the street who is feared and reviled by society and considered a "thug"....in another era in another society may have been loved and adored as a strong and brave prince! Oh, really? This may be true in Detroit, but it is most definitely not the case in Chicago. Oh! I guess GENTRIFICATION hasn't come to Chicago yet.

I know Egypt is part of Africa as well as Lybia and Morocco but they are still considered part of the Middle East as well. Middle East is more of a CULTURAL term than a geographical one. Juar like the term Latin America. Latin American countries are found in both North AND South America....two continents. Likewise, the "Middle East" also spans two continents....Africa and Asia.

But many people around the world who claim to be descendants of Israel know nothing about it. If you read the Bible carefully, a certain portion of Israelites actually heeded the warnings that were given and left and went down into Egypt BEFORE Babylonians attacked and they escaped captivity. I believe these were the ancestors of the so-called Falasha or so-called Ethiopian Jews who practice an entirely different form of the religion than what Jews in the West practice. Infact, they don't even call themselves Jews but Beta Israel or House of Israel.

Chevdove But here is the issue that I see though; The Western Civilization and I suppose other nations too, keep changing the names and the maps with regards to the origins of certain people in ancient times. Iraq, Syria, Saudi, had people living in these areas that had other descriptive names that place them with 'other origins' that places them in Africa too, before they migrated east. For example, in the land of ancient Iran, Persia, lived the people of AI I've heard the argument that the Middle East is actually part of northeast Africa but the West tries to seperate it. To be honest, I could see it that way....but barely. As far as I'm concerned it's just as much if not more a part of Asia than Africa. I believe since most Black people in the United States are either Muslim or Christian they have an interest in seeing what their religions call the "holy land" as part of Africa.....similar to how a lot of our people want to make Jesus and the other biblical characters Black. I'm beyond that at this point. I do recognize that the ORIGINAL inhabitants of that region were indeed Black..... Before the Caucasian Medes and Persians moved into Iran the original peoples there were a Black people known as Elamites. Before for the Caucasian Syrians moved into the Palestine coastal regions, the original people's in that area were Black and built a city called "Salem" that Caucasian later came in, continued to build upon, and now call "Jeru-SALEM" They were a tall and strong Black people and when the Caucasians saw them they called them "Giants". Infact, the original inhabitants of Italy and Greece were Black people known as Etruscans. So clearly Black isn't limited to Africa. and from my research, this name connects to a very early people during the Copper Age, that dominated 'the MIddle East' [ie. Jerusalem] and that came from MADAI-JAPHETH. From this civilization came people and civilization like; Japeth is also related to the Greco-Roman deity JUPITER. According to the myth, when Japeth and his family moved down from the Caucasus mountains into Greece...him and many of his offspring were deified as Greek gods and heros.

How much does it matter whether or not the young people killing eachother have actually pledged loyalty to a particular gang or not? Whether the young man dies from the bullets of a rival gangster's uzi, or from the bullets of an old rusty .32 fired by a jealous boyfriend......he's just as dead. And the deep seated motives behind the violence are still the same: -Low self esteem and hatred of self and those who look like self (which is why white women can walk their dogs and go jogging through the roughest neighborhoods in the the city and not worry about being attacked) -Drug and alcohol abuse -Entertainment (music, video games, ect...) that encourage reckless violence -Proliferation of guns among those not trained to respect and handle them The violence that's been going on in urban America for the past 30 years or so has deserved "state of emergency" status as far as I'm concerned.

There's a difference between speaking properly and articulately and speaking "White". To me Malcolm X embodied the proper sound of an eduated and articulate AfroAmerican man. Using proper English, speaking boldly and accurately, and having enough bass in his voice to command respect. Larry Elder is the OPPOSITE....with his high pitched whining. Del Richard Pryor in concert does he sound white or black Although he WASN'T born and raised there, Richard Pryor sounds like most Black people I've met from California who were raised outside of south-central.....lol. If Alex Haley fabricated some aspects of his Roots novel..... That begs the question was atleast SOME of his Malcolm X autobiography also fabricated? I don't believe Malcolm survived to see it's completion so how do we know how much of it is actually truthful?

Troy I simply refuse to believe in the "out of Africa" theory. Do I have proof or a ton of solid evidence to support my disbelief? Outside of my observations of the phenotypical patterns of people around the globe....no. But given the ever changing history that anthropologists, paleontologists, and others in Western science offers the world every few decades.....I'm sure before this century is out they'll have a NEW theory of where humans supposedly came from. Megahn is a white-looking multimillionaire celebrity she is not Nay-Nay from the projects. Let's not pretend that all people are the same or viewed the same way. Exactly. I don't even think they see her as actually "Black". AfroAmericans see her as Black because we've been raised with that erroneous "one drop" rule. But they simply see her as "non-British" and probably lump her in the same category as Italians, Greeks, Arabs, ect..... Mel People are NOT commodities. We are members of a networked community. So, marriage is not a step-up but rather a strategic partnership based on goals.  Since marriage is also government-sanctioned some people marry to expand their territories. Married people may not be commodities but MARRIAGE itself is usually a commodity and a financial agreement in THIS society as well as European, African, and Asian societies. Historically speaking, people RARELY got married for "love"....but out of financial, social, and political benefit and it was usually for the benefit of the men in the relationship and not the women. Even though a poor woman may have married a wealthier man, it wasn't the woman who benefited from the arrangement so much as it was her father and brothers who got some control of the money and land involved. Personally, I would have NO PROBLEM marrying a woman for my economic well being or hers AS LONG AS IT'S UNDERSTOOD between us that that's what we're marrying for. In my opinion, LYING and BREAKING OATHS TO THE SUPREME BEING is wrong, not simply chasing after wealth or status. So if I lied for the reasons I married her or took an oath to marry her for a particular reason and then broke it.....that would be "wrong". But simply marrying for money or financial gain in and of itself isn't wrong.

Much of the problems in Chicago isn't simply the EXISTENCE of the gangs, but how they're structured today. Gangs today are far more loosely structured today and fragmented than they were in the 50s and 60s. when you had CLEAR leadership with rules and even discipline in the gangs among themselves. After the 70s when most of the leaders were taken to jail the younger members were left on the streets with no discipline and no one to really answer to. I'm not sure about Chicago or New York but in Detroit back in the 70s if you go into a neighborhood and your car go stolen there was somebody you could talk to who KNEW who stole it and you could either negotiate it back or pay for it back. If someone got killed....the criminal leaders underground KNEW who did it. After the 80s with the drugs and break up of the gangs, all types of madness started happening and no one could figure out who was shooting who over what. I've said it before and I'll say it again..... The ONLY time the crime and violence problem in the inner cities of America will be solved is when RIGHTEOUS BLACK MEN organize and march in ranks into those communities to solve it OURSELVES. Expect no other demographic to solve the problem for us, for a number of reasons: 1. Most other people don't give a damn if about Black people killing eachother. They didn't step in when negroes were killing eachother in Rwanda, so why would they step in in Chicago or Los Angeles or Houston??? 2. Most other people are TOO SCARED of Black males to try to confront and check them. Which is why even trained police officers still often use deadly force against unarmed men rather than trying to confront them and de-escalate the situation. When Trump talks about sending in the Feds to solve the crime problem in Chicago; he's not talking about sending in psychologists and mental health experts to HELP solve the reasons for crime in the first place. He's talking about using heavy handed policing and possibly military action. But when Black men are too lazy or indifferent to their own demographic to solve our own problems, what else can we expect?
