  1. Troy I'm puzzled by something.............. If K2 agrees with you that race does NOT exist, why did he post grafts and figures displaying economic and home ownership differences between races and repeatedly use the terms "Black" and "White"? If there is no Black race or White race...... Then WHO IS "Black" and "White" and what is meant by these terms being used?
  2. Troy Pioneer1 don't get all bent out of shape man. I completely understand why one would hide their identity on the web. I'm not sure how my statement may have sounded but I didn't get bent out of shape or angry. As far as me not having to stand behind what I say, you can say that about ANYONE posting on here. Except for people you've actually met in real life like Cynique and Del....you don't know if ANY picture a poster is using is actually theres or they are who they claim to be.....lol. But this is what you CAN do......... Ask yourself this question: Of the years I've been posting on this forum, have you ever known me to tell an outright lie? I'm not talking about making a mistake or saying something you disagree with like the racial issue.......I mean PURPOSELY putting out false information about myself or anyone or anything else (like calling a straight Black man a "gay white troll" or calling a degreed financier "uneducated"...lol) ? It's like Mel said in another thread, it boils down to who you trust and who you don't based on their history. This is how I judge other people....... If someone has a HISTORY of lying and being deceptive then they shouldn't be trusted. But if you've known them for years and despite maybe being wrong or mistaken from time to time you've never known them to purposefully lie then I have a certain level of trust of them. K2 Number one..... That quote wasn't mine, it was TROY'S.....so learn how to read and comprehend properly before you go spouting off more of your half-baked nonsense. Number two..... You keep directing posts at me but you should remember it's still "on" between us UNTIL you apologize! You told Delano: Although I never apologize I have no problem is calling for a TRUCE Well since you NEVER apologize I guess things between me and you will pretty akward around here because I STILL demand an APOLOGY for what you said about my mother. I don't let slights like that go. I don't give a damn who you work for, if we were face to face and you said something like that you'd spend the next 5 minutes picking your TEETH up off the goddam ground.
  3. Troy The truth of the matter is @Delano is in no position to assess your honesty, despite his psychic abilities -- man you aren't even honest about your identity. All he, any of us, can do is express an opinion How am I not honest about my identity? Is not posting one's picture and other personal information a sign of DISHONESTY to you? 15 years ago hardly ANYONE was putting up their personal pictures on social media for security reasons, now most people are doing it. 15 years from now..... If a person refuses to put their address and social security number online when they communicate will that be a sign that their lying and have something to hide? But for the record, I DO NOT believe in this concept of "transparency" that so many politicians and those in the media are calling for these days. I think it's both impractical AND unrealistic to expect someone to be totally transparent and open about everything they're doing and thinking.....especially in the world of government and finance where telling all of your business could lead to your financial ruin. My moral code calls for TRUTH. Whether you love it or hate it, ommiting and concealing information DOES NOT violate that code....only lying and falsifying information do.
  4. I'll cut comedians some slack if they're funny enough. Andrew Dice Clay used to say racist shit but I still thought he was funny. But there are some people who use art to HIDE their racism and racist intentions and if you're perceptive enough you can see through it. Carlos Mencia is one of them....... If you ever check out his comedy routines, he likes to use the fact that he's Latino as an excuse for his being able to use the word "nigger" and use other racist material in his shows. As far as the Starbucks thing goes...... Some people believe that the entire situation was STAGED.
  5. Those graphs and statistics are a bunch of deceptive bullshit. First of all it mixes RACE (Black and White) with a CULTURE (Hispanic). Also, it deceptively obscures the fact that there are plenty of Black Hispanics and Hispanics that are also part of the White race. But more importantly......if you break it down by ETHNIC GROUP you'll find that Nigerians, Ghanaians and other Africans on average have a far higher household income than most White Americans. But this statistical FACT is usually PURPOSELY left out in order to give the impression that Black people in general are underachievers. What's happening in America isn't a wider economic gap between Whites and Blacks as a whole but a FRACTIONING of the American economy into various classes and socio-economic castes where certian ETHNIC GROUPS will be considered in the upper castes and certain ethnic groups will be considered part of the lower caste.
  6. If she lost those cornrows, got her eyebrows arched, and maybe a little make up, you probably wouldn't kick her out of bed. Ofcourse not....... I'd call the police and let THEM do it......lol. If I just HAD to sleep with a muscular woman, give me Serena Williams....atleast I know she's ALL woman.
  7. It was a made up quote mocking the type of thinking too many of our people engage in. They just want the money and the fun, but not the responsibility that generates it.
  8. Troy I think she's a racist, but probably not a vicious one. She reminds me of the Paula Deen type of racist who TRIES to be nice for the most part but sometimes when her guard is down and she's a little relaxed the racism will just oozes out....lol. To be honest, I don't think the show should have been cancelled. For one thing, I actually LIKED it.....lol.. I didn't watch Roseanne back in the 90s, but compared to a lot of the bullshit that comes on television TODAY that I refuse to watch.....I've found the new Roseanne rather refreshing in a nostalgic way. I actually wanted to see more of her Black daughter-n-law...lol. Second....... Her tweet wasn't actually racist but had RACIST UNDERTONES.....which is more indirect. It was in poor taste, but it wasn't the worse thing in the world and like you said there are FAR WORSE examples of racism going on in the world. I see the cancellation of the show as an over reaction and the punishment is much harsher than the crime. It's the same with the Startbucks incident and how they're shutting down Starbucks all over the nation for a relatively minor incident that may have had racial undertones. Now if I as an AfroAmerican sees this as an "over reaction" on ABC's part just what do you think MOST White people are thinking? Your and my reaction to the show's cancellation is just the tip of the iceberg of what the rest of America is probably thinking and how they may be starting to HATE political correctness. Kind of like crying wolf...... If there are too many over reactions and excessive outrageous punishments for the most minor or racist incidents......a backlash could occur in which NO CLAIMS of racism are respected. Now BACK to that sexy ass Valerie Jarret......lol.
  9. Elijah Muhammad taught that the entire Earth belongs to the Black man. Queen I actually DO believe that this is our country as AfroAmericans. The problem is most of us don't EXERCISE our civil rights as well as our Supreme Being given rights in this society and THAT is the main reason so many of our people are constantly victimized. A good example of what I'm talking about are those Black war veterans you speak of who were lynched in their uniforms when they came back home. Obviously I wasn't around back then and couldn't judge their behavior but..... If you were trained to fight, shoot, and kill, and killed Germans and Japanese when they posed a threat to you in the war......why in the hell couldn't you fight and kill the KKK and lynch mobs who attacked you and your friends and family? Another one would be AfroAmericans people who make it into positions of power in this nation but STILL don't do much to help their own. How many cities have AfroAmerican mayors and have had them for decades but these mayors don't use their power and influence to funnel money and resources by the billions to AfroAmerican businesses and neighborhoods? The victimized inferior mentality is a bigger enemy to our people than the concept of White supremacy.
  10. ......and so do YOU, lol. You aren't fooling anyone on here with your vitriol. Any normal person over 30 can tell that any woman who puts as much focus and energy on a man as YOU do with ME must have "something" going on with her. I've said it before and I'll say it again: My presence is both troublesome as well as stimulating to you and you also have a slight attraction to me. And the more you post TO me or ABOUT me the more evidence you produce to support my statement.......lol. Despite initially denying it and claiming that my presence is absolutely NO concern of yours and doesn't matter.....you NOW claim otherwise by claiming I was one of the reasons you decided to take a break. A lot of people didn't catch the fact that you said there was MORE THAN ONE reason, but I did.....lol. I'm just curious what the OTHER reason(s) were that you decided to leave. I'm guessing K2's presence was probably another, but I may be wrong........ Troy What!? @Delano Pioneer just rejected your assertion to his being humble, and you rest your case? I didn't reject it, I just compared MY opinion with HIS. Humility is an OBJECTIVE observation that depends on the opinion of the observer....not the one being observed. In other words...... He can consider me humble and I can consider myself not....and we can BOTH be correct in our observation. But if you notice, he was absolutle correct about my honesty....which is a little more concrete and absolute than humility. Again I was not trying to trap you. I was simply trying to understand where you were coming from by making it crystal clear that I saw no justification for what you wrote and inquired where you came up with the idea. Lol...... I thought he explained it pretty articulately when he said that he based it on the observation that I was open enough to admit my academic short comings. If someone comes to you and admits they are poor. Or admits they are of low intelligence. Or admits they are ugly. Or just admits they made a lot of bad decisions in life. ........would you turn around and accuse them of being a pompous egotistical ass with delusions of grandeur? ......or would you consider it a sign of HUMILITY (until they gave you another explanation)? Del K2 I don't respond because I can't make sense of your verbage typos and grammatical spaghetti. Half the active posters don't want to converse with you. I don't think he makes sense half the time either, but to be honest for the sake of conversation I DID engage for a while.....until the fool talked about my mother. That's a BIG "no no".....lol.
  11. Dr Umar Johnson breaks down the REAL reason behind the so-called "royal wedding".....lol. Whether you agree with it or not, I think there is some truth behind what he's saying.
  12. Don't forget about Roseanne and her racist ass tweets....lol. Personally, I thought her comparing Valerie Jarrett to an ape was more hilarious than racist. Because Valerie is fine as hellllll! .....much finer than Roseanne.
  13. Del I am truly touched by your kind words. As Troy said, I would call myself HONEST but I wouldn't call myself too humble. I have an ego and I do like to show off from time to time, but only on those things about myself that are TRUE and that I KNOW I can back up. Truth and honesty are part of my moral code, but humility is not necessarily. Although it does have it's place in the presence of legendary people. What you may see as humility (and what Cynique claims is "phony"....lol ) could rather be considered more of a defense mechanism that I've developed over the years as a person who has been active in community organizations to deal with so many people with far more education and academic creditials. I learned that I get along with people far better when I respect their position and acknowledge mine. But if I'm at all humbled, it's from being around intellectually powerhouses like you and Troy. BTW...... If you'll remember, I TOLD you months ago that if I weren't around Cynique would start picking on you or Mel. You're seeing evidence of this now. People Lol........ How can we miss someone who has never left? Cynique only CLAIMED she was going away to get a reaction. What she REALLY did was run up "underground" so that she could monitor MY comments and how others would continue to react to me in her "abscence" of constant criticism. She tried to keep it cool as long as she could but like she said....when Del had something nice ot say about me she couldn't control herself. That little turtle HAD to crawl up out of her hole and start cussing and snapping at everyone in sight......lol. Rest assured, if I REALLY thought my presence would cause Cynique to actually LEAVE....I would save you all the headache and drama and say my good byes. As I've said before, she ain't going nowhere.....but to the store to get some more snacks to much one while monitoring this site, lol. The woman is obsessed! The only thing that would cause HER to leave if if I left; because Pioneer's got her ass on LOCK !
  14. Are you aware of any policies that have changed as a direct result of Colin's taking a knee? EXCELLENT QUESTION! And the answer to that question determines the effectiveness of Colin's actions. It's a shame but those mostly Caucasian kids from the Parkland highschool shooting have been more effective in changing legislation and striking fear in the hearts of their adversaries in just their 4 or 5 months of demonstrating than AfroAmerican NFL players have been in their YEARS of kneeling and locking arms and begging for understanding. Why? Because those kids aren't going from school to school across America urinating on flags or bowing down and taking knees infront of flag poles nor are they making music videos where they dance around half naked........ In other words they aren't wasting time with confusing indirect methods that are basically useless except for pissing people off. But what they ARE doing is taking DIRECT ACTION by calling out the local and national legislators as well as those in the media who are promoting guns and feeding gun violence.
  15. Troy Sports was always about entertainment, even going back to the Roman gladiator days where the most athletic men were put into an arena to slaughter eachother for the pleasure of the crowds. But another purpose of sports....is to show off one's "sexual fitness". The opposite sex watches an athelete perform well in a particular physical activity that involves strength and skill and subconsciously assumes they'll be just as good in the bedroom....lol. Although I use the terms "her" and "she" I don't know if I'd call her a woman. More like a hermaphrodite. I'm not trying to be cruel, but I do want to be accurate based on the evidence that gender tests done on her have allegedly revealed: https://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/othersports/athletics/6170229/Caster-Semenya-is-a-hermaphrodite-tests-show.html They claim she has no ovaries and also has internal testicles. Clearly she isn't a normal woman biologically speaking and they know it. They've KNOWN it for quite some time, yet they continue to promote her and allow her to race with other women.....so obviously whoever is backing her has an agenda. I think part of the agenda is making fun of African women as well as promoting sexual confusion among people. Just like this entire "gender bathroom" controversy that's been going on for the past few years. Anytime you allow a person to CALL themselves whatever they want to call themselves despite their physical plumbing, you're promoting confusion among people which will lead ot disaster.
  16. Lol...... It's meant to be a spiral or symbol of nature. I'm not sure which quote you're talking about.... My signature? Or the italicized quote in my post?
  17. Didn't George Washington fight a WAR to rid this land of the concepts of "royalty" and "royal families"? I wonder how he'd feel about the way the U.S. media celebrated this event if he were alive today.....lol. It's not the race of the bride or the love they may have for eachother that bothers me, but the REACTION of other AfroAmericans to this wedding; and for two reasons: 1. Many AfroAmericans....though not most thankfully.....see her as Black. 2. And many AfroAmerican women see this "Black woman" marrying a White prince as some sort of "step up" in the world. These views aren't very widespread in the Black community as a whole but in many media and social media circles those views are being promoted.
  18. There's a reason why they separate men from women in sports and don't allow them to compete together.....despite many who called for matches between Serena Williams and male tennis players, lol. Sports isn't just about competitions.....it's also ENTERTAINMENT. Many people find sports entertaining because of the UNCERTAINTY over which athelete will prevail and others like it because of the SEX APPEAL of the atheletes performing. And this "woman" takes both of those factors away when she competes. 1. Because of her high levels of testosterone giving her a strength advantage....she's pretty much CERTAIN to win any competition with other women she engages in. Would anyone pay to watch Mike Tyson fight women in the ring? 2. Because she looks so masculine, most men will not find her sexually appealing and will lose any interest in the games. Audience viewership will decline. There's raw competition, and there's also an inate sense of fairness that discourages men from comparing themselves to women and vice versa
  19. If Black Enterprise IS kissing up to Google.....I can't blame them for it. It's a power move. Having Google as an ally is arguably far more important that having Facebook or Amazon as one.....because Google reaches far more people. Google also has deeper ties to various governments around the world, so a fall out with them would also bring BE unwanted political liabilities.
  20. Troy I personally am not much of a football fan so I have no problem boycotting the NFL or their sponsors, but most of the AfroAmerican men I know ARE and this would be asking too much of a sacrifice from them....given their current collective state of maturity. I understand why AfroAmerican authors would resist boycotting Amazon even if it's in their long term best interests; for the same reasons many if not most workers tend to initially resist the push for unionization.......they don't want to jeopardize their livelihood. Like you said, most of our people are not yet willing to make the sacrifices or delay their gratifications for a larger goal. Another factor is IRRESPONSIBILITY....... See, if you boycott NFL or Amazon you either have to DO WITHOUT or BUILD YOUR OWN institutions to take their place. It's relatively easy to promote one's books on Amazon, like it's relatively easy to show up to NFL camps...practice....perform....and get that check. The mentality of too many of our people is: "Let White men in suits and ties take care of all the formalities, organizing, promoting, and paper work.....while I put in a few hours of work, collect that check, and spend the rest of my time SPENDING it and having fun! "
  21. EUGENE, Ore. (AP) — South Africa's Caster Semenya set a meet record in the 800 meters at the Prefontaine Classic on Saturday while controversy swirls about a rule that could limit her from competing at the distance. Semenya defended her title in the event in 1 minute, 55.92 seconds, which is also the top mark in the world this year. American Ajee Wilson was second in 1:56.86. Semenya is the two-time Olympic and three-time world champion in the 800. But she could be impacted in the future by a new rule that has drawn criticism. The IAAF, track and field's international governing body, announced last month that starting on Nov. 1 it will limit entry for all international events from 400 meters through the mile to women with testosterone levels below a specified level. The IAAF maintains that women with unusually high testosterone levels have a competitive advantage over other women. http://www.tampabay.com/semenya-wins-prefontaine--in-worlds-best-time-this-year-ap_sports0bfbb220aaa640c086ce98e1bb33ee4e
  22. We must also understand that most of these players are playing under CONTRACTS with all types of clauses and stipulations in it that gives the owners and agents the ability to strip money from them left and right in the form of fines, penalties, law suits, ect..... Out of a $10 million contract, after taxes and fines and paying off agents and lawyers they may only see about $2 million of it. Colin wouldn't be unemployed right now IF AfroAmerican men had been intelligent enough to have seen this coming and started THEIR OWN major football league 30 or 40 years ago atleast as an option not ot be beholden to the wealthy White conservatives who own the NFL I think Ice Cube was trying to start some sort of basketball league of his own. Atleast that's a start.
  23. My question is why do people read posts and create accounts but never post. Pesonally, it's hard for me to be a "lurker" who just reads and keeps up with everyone else's opinion without jumping in and offering my own. But as for those who actually go as far as creating accounts and never posting........ I believe that most Black sites are being monitored. Monitored by who? Monitored by the "usual suspects". And creating an account just allows them more access to personal information about the members. Which is yet another reason I don't post my picture.....lol.
  24. Troy But to use your line of reasoning; the reason I disagree with your assertion that men only view women as potential sex partners is because I'm a man and I don't view women that way. Lol.... You're not using my line of reasoning, because my reasoning involves ACCURACY. I never said that men only view women as potential sex partners. Infact, for older men I said quite the opposite. I'm not amazed that you disagree with my position. I'm just amazed at how ZEALOUS you seem in opposing it and how you've seemingly held it against me either openly or subtly in almost every discussion since the disagreement developed. It's frightening that you would disregard YOUR OWN experiences in life simply to align your beliefs with that of the mainstream scientific community. You simply refuse to even entertain the idea that atleast some of what may be called "science" may actually be a collection of propaganda and opinions based.....not on what is actually true....but based on the agenda of whatever wealthy special interest group funded the research. Remember, during it's later years slavery was also justified by "science" for obvious reasons.
