ProfD Show me a person who is indifferent about having a house, vehicle, clothes, shoes, money in the bank, etc., more than likely they are lazy as f8ck. Speaking of motivation, I have an interesting story to tell....... I usually keep a vehicle but a while back I went for quite a spell of not having a car. I had a truck but sold it and said I was going to work and save money to get another one in a couple months. But I saved so much money catching the bus and getting rides from other people that month after month went by and eventually a year went by and I still hadn't bought a ride and I kept reasoning that the longer I waited the nicer the ride will be because I'll have more money saved up to get it. Then....MOTIVATION struck...lol. What motivation? Seeing this beautiful dark skinned Lauryn Hill looking sista at work that I had been chasing after for months hugged up and in the arms of another dude! I saw it as clear as day. They both had their coats on ready to go and he had some keys in his hand! She was looking up at him smiling at him with such a big broad grin with her white teeth shining between some thick juicy dark lips. Just staring straight up at him grinning. I saw them! I walked pass them......twice. All hugged up. Now check this shit out. This is how strange this thing was.......... I said I was going to wait another year and stack up more bread to get me a NICE ride. That was the plan. But when I saw the woman I wanted locked into an embrace with this dude, it did something to me and I said to my self that if I had a car...she'd be embracing ME instead of him! I got angry. Not at them....not really at myself. Just angry. That was on a Friday. Man I went home angry and said, FUCK IT....and the next day....Saturday....I went out car shopping. By the end of the week I had another car...lol. Ok... Now this gets more interesting........ You know, I didn't see her or him embrace ANYMORE since then! Infact, I barely even saw them even TALK to eachother before or after that one time I saw that! Hmmmm..... Ok???? Are yall trying to keep the relationship clandestine for work, or something? Anyway, I eventually started taking HER home in my car and although we didn't get into an actual relationship because she already had a man she loved...we DID get intimate. She became a nice little "work wife" I could smooch and squeeze on and have fun with at work. Which is what I wanted anyway! But this is the thing..... One day a month or 2 later, I asked dude she was hugged up with what happened? He looked at me puzzled. I played it off like I didn't mind and reminded him of "that one female" he was all hugged up with that day and he claimed he didn't know WHAT I was talking about! Who? Which female? I looked at him...and he wasn't playing! He seriously didn't know what I was talking about! But he kept saying "who" and "which one", So I said, "Never mind man. Forget about it."...lol. Sheeeeeyit....I didn't want to give him any ideas to "rekindle" something he may have forgotten. If it ever took place to begin with. Was I trippin' ? Did I really see what I THOUGHT I saw? Or was that some sort of vision to MOTIVATE me to get a car to get what I wanted???? I'll let you and the other readers think about that one.

One Of The Reasons I'm Not Religious
Pioneer1 replied to Pioneer1's topic in Culture, Race & Economy
It's not even an "our people" thing either.... I'd say MOST people of every race really aren't qualified to operate a successful modern business. Infact, I'd go as far as to say MOST people of every race aren't really qualified to be managers of a business. Most people are WORKERS. They just want to do their jobs, go home, get that check, and enjoy themselves without the headache of trying to manage people and company issues. -
One Of The Reasons I'm Not Religious
Pioneer1 replied to Pioneer1's topic in Culture, Race & Economy
ProfD Sure. Individuals can work for whomever they choose. A man cannot serve two masters. Especially if his desire is to become free and wealthy. What he desires is one thing, what he will actually achieve is another. While it may seem glamour to get your own business and not have a boss telling you what to do, I tell most bruthaz, keep your 9-5. Show up on time and do your job and get that check. For a lot of our people, telling them to get their own business and be their own boss is just feeding into the "lazy" mentality again. If you can't show up on time and are calling off every week or have a "family crisis" every month on a basic 9-5 job....how can you be relied upon to keep an actual business operating? Their numbers are relatively low in higher level management of white companies. Naturally. It's White companies. Like you've said numerous times, it's silly to expect White folks to treat YOU as good as they treat eachother. However the thing about many of them is, they'll work in White companies and under Whites for years or for however long it takes to learn the basics of the operation and then take that knowledge back to their own communities to apply it..THEIR WAY. Meanwhile, that nigga over there in that big ass Pelle Pelle coat rapping to himself can't make it past the 90 day probationary period without making several threats on the job to "slap muhhfuhhs" for talking to him the wrong way during lunch and in the bathroom. The mentality MUST change. frankster Thinking that our brothers are lazy....is so what the racist want you to think and believe No, that's what many of our BRUTHAZ want you to think and believe too when he tells you straight up to your face: "Nigga..I ain't doing that shit. Don't ASK me no muuuhfucking mo!" That's making it pretty clear. You don't need a "racist" to tell you something you grew up seeing, lol. Yes they are not working in the traditional sense. They have to do what ever it takes to continue recieving section 8....that is their job so now they have to fill out forms and remain up to date and continue to qualify ...that is the job Man, you know good and dog gone well that's a stretch....lol. That's like a man who tells people he's working. When they ask doing what? He tells them he currently has a full time job filling out applications and looking for work. He even has "work search hours" he adheres to daily. Come on bro..... The true name for those places are Convenience Store.....whatever they sell is what the people living nearby will purchase and consume. What community doesn't have a Wal-Mart or atleast one grocery store? How many people don't have cars to drive out TO the nearest grocery store if one doesn't exist in their community? You're making excuses for the shitty way so many of our people CHOOSE to eat. Yeah a room in a slum... Gotta crawl before you can walk. Would you feel better if a man working at Taco Bell could afford a furnished room with a private bath inside a billionaire's mansion? To much to unpack....Gang warfare check it out No thanks. I've seen my fair share of it in my youth. Niggaz fighting with eachother so hard that even the dogs and squirrels would run down the street to get away, looking back when they get a safe enough distance...lol. -
frankster It seems you not reading what you actually typed Why do you say that? why not....300 hundred years of stolen wages... True. I am sure if your employer stole 3hrs of your labor you would want it and most likely feel its lost...come payday True again. Now, how does that fact explain how the poverty most AfroAmericans experience today can be traced back to Slavery? You don't think the mass incarceration has a greater impact- You don't think drugs (both the selling and use) has a greater impact- You don't think so many families without adult men in the household has a greater impact- ...on the poverty rates in Black America, than Slavery did? My video shows the connection and proves that the enslavement of Africans has a direct bearing and connection to current day black poverty. See, this is the problem.....you don't pay attention to detail. Nobody denies the CONNECTION between Slavery and poverty in the Black community. I'm saying that Slavery didn't CAUSE most of the poverty in the Black community. There's a difference. I say yes. What do you say....yes or no I agree, yes it still affects our community. I say we can blame most if not all what say you....All or most or none The Black poverty of TODAY? None of thee above. You left out "some". Which I would agree with. White factory workers were working class....black factory workers were working poor - you think they got the same amount of pay? If they were unionized they did. Racism is the main cause of black poverty.....It is not our biggest problem Working together...Achieving Functional Unity - Is I agree that Racism...direct and indirect...is the main cause of Black poverty. I also believe that working together is ONE of our biggest problems. Not THEE biggest...but certainly one of them. Margus Garvey and Booker T Washington both promoted freedom thruogh economic and educational success The Jews did that in Germany....the nazi's cook them all They didn't get ALL of them. Jews got an entire nation out of it called Israel which is being backed by the most powerful nation on the planet. Despite the current political turmoil, I truly believe that AfroAmericans are in one of the best positions of any group of Black people on the planet. I won't say THE best, because I haven't traveled the Earth enough to justify that statement. However I believe that despite her problems, America is certainly ONE of the best places for Black people to live. We should take advantage of our positions.

ProfD A few things allow people to be lazy whether it is mental or physical. The lack of a work ethic is the main thing. True. It's much easier to instill a proper work ethic in childhood but much harder in adults. Based on my experience and observation, it's not even about really working hard so much as it's about being on time and doing what you're told to do WHEN you're told to do it. This is one of the reasons older and even elderly people often make better employees than young people. They may not have the endurance and energy but they are far more reliable and know how to follow directions. Another thing that makes most people lazy is lack of PROPER MOTIVATION. I mentioned to you before that the laziest man in the world will often work hard and do his best to show out for a female he finds attractive. He's motivated by something...lol. Religion can leave folks on stuck and lazy. It teaches you to look for Someone or Something outside of yourself for success and getting what you desire. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but you need BALANCE. I pray not just every day, but several times a day and I take action and I pray that my actions will be Successful. I see no contradiction.

Pioneer1 replied to harry brown's topic in Culture, Race & Economy
ProfD Oh, look at my girl Jodie Watley.....lol. She been fine since the 70s I see. To be honest, I don't think Trump believed he was actually going to get elected back in 2016. I think he was running as a joke and to generate some extra cash, and fucked around and gained a following that was too big to dismiss or disappoint. He simply wasn't prepared and those who wanted to push the policies that he's pushing NOW...wasn't prepared back then. They didn't think he had much of a chance. But now.......... It's like that female that was all over you and dropped all kinds of hints that you didn't pick up on, and yall ended up parting ways BEFORE you realized it. You said to yourself if you could just get ONE MORE CHANCE (like she told Biggie...lol) you'd be ready THIS TIME and would tear that mug up....lol. Man, they are READY this time. Been rehearsing it in the car and everything....lol. -
ProfD Right. Reminds me of the dude making it rain with $20 bills in the strip club telling his family and friends he can't put $100 on groceries for the summer backyard BBQ. Aye yo....I know that dude...lol. Ain't it funny how he seems to always have enough to buy some weed to smoke, but he sits on the porch complaining to you about his financial problems while he's puffing and looking at the blunt everytime he takes a toke as if he's trying to figure out why it keeps getting shorter and shorter. Car been sitting in the driveway for 3 weeks, talking about he don't have enough money to buy gas. But every time you drop by, he either smoking or smelling like it...lol.

One Of The Reasons I'm Not Religious
Pioneer1 replied to Pioneer1's topic in Culture, Race & Economy
ProfD I support a 2 Pronged approach. We can work for ourselves AND work for the general population if we so choose. It doesn't have to necessarily be one OR the other. Like Latinos and Asians who have an abundance of their own businesses AND are making strides in White owned firms as well. What I keep saying about AfroAmerican laziness must be accepted as an unfortunate reality for so many of our people. When this is accepted, other things began to make sense. The reasons why so many of us AREN'T starting and maintaining businesses is out of laziness. Infact, as I type out this very post and think about one of the reasons I'm not religious, I can think of ANOTHER reason why I'm not religious anymore.... Because I'm not as lazy as I used to be. -
During a discussion in another thread as to why I'm no longer religious, I divulged ANOTHER reason why I'm no longer religious anymore. Because I'm not as LAZY as I used to be. Back when I was very religious, I was very lazy. I didn't want to get up off my ass and do things for myself and put in the hard work and research that needed to be done to get the type of Success I wanted, so I reasoned out that the world would soon end and "so-n-so" would come down to Earth and make everything alright, so I didn't have to worry about that. Think of Al Green's Everything Is Gonna Be Alright (he's coming back.....like he said he would) My only plan was to find a quick job that paid me enough to do what I IMMEDIATELY wanted to do for fun, and wait....... So I did. And I waited..... And waited..... And waited.... While waiting, I discovered a few things. One of the things I discover was that the more work I put it, and especially if I did my do diligent research BEHIND the work I was doing so that whatever I did was more effective...the more Success I had! Whether it was putting in work to make money or putting in work to attract women or putting in work to organize people. The more I was willing to work...not just hard...but smartly....the more things came out right. I didn't really recognize this until I was in my 30s. Now I'm in my 50s, trying to play "catch up" and as quiet as it's kept....I'm still "waiting" on SOME THING major to happen so that I don't have to work as hard. But I'm learning my lessons...lol. Better late than never. Too many of our people use RELIGION as an excuse to cover up our laziness. They don't want to get up and do the work necessary to provide a secure and prosperous future for themselves and their children but they don't want to admit this so they hide behind religion and the belief that somebody is going to come back and make the world a better place soon...so they don't have to. But when the bills come or they need some immediate money, they don't sit on a milk crate waiting on "so-n-so" to give it to them. They get up and work, steal, beg, or do whatever they HAVE to do to come up with the money. Which shows you that they don't have as much faith in whatever or whoever they claim, because they don't wait for the money to magically show up. They WORK (in some form or another) for it until they get it. They MAKE it happen. It's not about religion then....it's about MAKING it happen. But as soon as they get out of the pinch, many of our people go right back to the lazy-mode of using religion and waiting on "so-n-so" to make it right.

I agree. Now, eliminating Daylight Savings time is an Executive Order I'd support Trump on, lol.
-
Can someone explain to me why..... With all of these news and information outlets on the internet. Youtube channels and websites. NOBODY mentioned anything about Daylight Savings Time being last night???? It wasn't talked about on CNN or Fox News Nobody on Youtube talked about it. People talked about a whole lot of other shit but I didn't realize time had changed until I looked at another person's cell phone and noticed her time had change and started clowning on her over it and she reminded me of it.

One Of The Reasons I'm Not Religious
Pioneer1 replied to Pioneer1's topic in Culture, Race & Economy
ProfD Don't worry. The company will get around to firing those employees. They will be replaced with non-AfroAmericans. Oh, it's happening all ready. The vast majority of the Black folks working at my company from the warehouses to the offices are NON-FBA Black folks from Africa and the Carribean. frankster What you said above is true....but each has it own challenges... Typical 9-5...Can't get it have no skill or discipline or worst they pay minimum wage etc Well if they were born and raised in the United States and have no mental or physical disabilities, what do you mean they "can't get it" or don't have the discipline??? Nigga just don't wanna work or have anybody tell him what to do, that's all. And that's going to be a problem if you try to sell dope TOO, because your supplier or anybody else over you WILL tell you what to do and when to do it and will ENFORCE what they say. Which is why so many of these young dudes come up dead. They working with and or for medicaid welfare or section 8....that is their job to maintain their qualified status. As stated, many people on medicaid and section 8 are NOT working. So they are receiving welfare but aren't working. True usually due to either they are not being paid enough or have a mental issue....addictions are mental issues Facts. Yeah....but do they have a marketing budgetlike and advertise like KFC etc? I'm not sure, but the generally sell what people want. Grape bubble gum, cigars for making blunts, weed paper, liquor, and a lot of candy and junk food. That's what most people want. Full grown adults, but juvenile in their thinking so they eat like 11 year old kids. Lets do the maths....i will be very liberal. I'll let YOU do it. I've proven my point that most people can easily afford the average room with a full time job, I'm moving on......lol. In short you are saying formal and informal are all types of formality.....to me informality means the absence of formality In shortER....I'm saying that CODES ARE PROTOCOLS. Not at the level that it is happening to Black Africans Americans....nor historically Well, I can't argue with whether this is true or not. But whatever they're going through...they aren't letting it hold them back. For Many Black Americans we are in a war right here right now..... Whaaaa - WHO??? WHERE???? At war???? How is laying on the couch smoking fake weed and scrolling through social media on your cell phone all day being "at war"??? Most of these clowns ain't fighting anybody...except EACHOTHER. Now if you say Black folks are at war; many of them are at war with EACHOTHER over petty shit. But not with their open and historic enemy. Being driven and ambitious one can overcome many things even things thought impossible. I agree -

Perhaps he's doing what he was actually SUPPOSED to do when he got in office the first time. -
frankster Prior to MLKjr the Black Middle class was below 1%...today the black middle class is around 30% I'm not sure about those figures, but I will say that things HAVE improved for our people FINANCIALLY since MLK's work. However moral/ethically and socially....that's another story, lol. Then why did you state the following I quote: "Again, we can't blame all or even most of the poverty in Black America today on the legacy of Slavery. It's like trying to blame today's broken families as a legacy of Slavery....which isn't true either." __________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Because they're TRUE (both statements). I assert that we CAN'T blame all or even most of the poverty in the AfroAmerican community today on Slavery. How is you telling me that Slavery still affect us today (which I agree with) and posting videos to prove it...how does that contradict my assertion? We have: 1 Point: Slavery still affects us today 2 Point: We can't blame all or most Black poverty on Slavery 2 different points that don't necessarily contradict eachother. Not true...most were the working poor class.... They knew how to make do with less... While I agree that they knew how to make do with less, I'm not sure if I'd agree that most of these factory workers should be considered poor. They are definitely lower middle class....traditionally known as Working Class. But I wouldn't call them "poor". True....but he did dismantle overt business(de jure) as usually racism in most parts of America He helped do it, and we thank him immensely for that. Yes We as a people will then have to address the cause - racism.....Not the effects dysfunction EXACTLY! The more excuses and "symptoms" you remove or ignore, the closer you get to the root of the problem. If you dig far enough...you'll actually find out that Racism itself isn't actually the Black man's biggest problem! Because if his biggest problem was solved, the racism coming from White folks would be a non issue and in many cases would cease to exist. ...if his BIGGEST problem was solved, lol. Here's a man angry at women. -He says they ignore him. -He says they talk crazy to him when they DO speak to him. -He says he can't get any sex -He says modern women don't want to submit. -He says he can't even get a date. *But he's flat broke with no job, no car, and no money. All of those other problems are caused by his BIGGEST problem, lol. If he solved his BIGGEST problems, all of the other problems would melt away...lol. When you have been studied targeted and oppressed....creating a collective will be a challenge well worth fighting for. But remember they will come and try to destroy it by criminalizing all who participate in it as well as labeling them hate mongers Perhaps then they focus should be more INDIRECT. Instead of forming groups to challenge The System. Form groups to work WITH IN The System to gain economic prosperity without threatening it. In other words..... Don't form a Black Panther organization to dismantle racism. Organize and establish a chain of coffee shops around the country to make money and leave a legacy....inside the system.

ProfD Bringing money into the US will supposedly reduce the debt. It's BS but they'll keep lying to the American people. Exactly. They don't give a damn about some "national debt", let alone trying to bring it down. They've proven this time and time again with their massive spending projects; both the Republicans and Democrats. The only time the national debt becomes an issue is when YOU want something. When it comes to funding the war in Ukrain, it doesn't even come up. But when YOU talk about getting Universal Health Care or Reparations. All of a sudden...........

One Of The Reasons I'm Not Religious
Pioneer1 replied to Pioneer1's topic in Culture, Race & Economy
ProfD Black and Brown immigrants are willing to do the jobs and work for wages many AfroAmericans aren't willing to do. True. But even on the SAME jobs at the SAME wage, a lot of these niggas don't want to show up on time or come to work. Can't stay off the cell phone or sneaking off somewhere to smoke that fake ass weed...lol. frankster To me it is harder having tried them both...thats my personal opinion. first of all you always working....living looking over your shoulder - sure aint easy When you on point....your life and freedom hangs in the balance - from cops friends customers robbers and enemies One option that I do respect that so many people I know have done is take that dope money and flip it into doing something positive and legal like building your own business. Knowing is only half.....you still got to eat Thats all you see know and is now readily available and accessible for you to do. You can EAT off of a typical 9-5. And like I said, even afford a room (or stay with a friend and help pay), clothes, and maybe even a car. And if you're living in a place like New York or Frisco where the cost of living is so high that you can't....pack up and move. Anyone below working poor is destitue....if you on welfare - then you IS working poor. Welfare is now your work and even then most of them is destitute... Medicaid and Section-8 are considered Welfare. Many people getting help from these programs are not working. Also, you can be working AND destitute. I knew a lot of people who were homeless but still had jobs. Thats what available and accessible plus sometimes the government check tells you what you can buy with it. Most ghettoes have stores where you can get SOME fruits, vegetables, packaged meat, can goods. Maybe not the freshest....but much healthier than KFC, McDonalds, and hot chili cheese fries all damn day. Back to PERSONAL DECISIONS. The Nation of Islam teaches our people to eat healthier and avoid certain foods and most of them PRACTICE this and are generally healthier. Personal decisions. I did....they all came it as I stated around $900 So you're saying ROOMS and APARTMENTS both generally are going for the same rate in most regions? I'm not sure where you're looking but when I look at Craig's List for the Minneapolis area The apartments average about $1,500 a month: https://minneapolis.craigslist.org/search/apa#search=2~gallery~0 While the rooms average about $ 600 a month: https://minneapolis.craigslist.org/search/roo#search=2~gallery~0 Come on man...... They aren't the same. Like I said, most 9-5 jobs will afford you atleast a ROOM somewhere where you can live independent. I initially said street codes are what drug dealers have and that's what I meant and you know that Yes, and I agree with THAT particular statement. The disagreement came in when you proceeded to argue that they didn't have PROTOCOLS while doctors did. I told you that codes ARE a form of protocol and you insisted that they weren't. so stop trying to be pedantic It may seem "pedantic" to you, because you probably don't value precision and accuracy as much as I do. Who said with not building or not trying...our efforts are being erased suppressed stolen and hidden So are the Latino, Asian, and African immigrants efforts to work, build businesses, and accumulate wealth in the United States - being erased, suppressed, stolen, and hidden???? Why are so many of them doing so well or being ALLOWED to do so well? True....because they are not confronted with the same type of Pyschological Baggage that Black Americans are forced to carry Perhaps. Keep in mind that many of them come from formerly colonized war-torn countries where they have personally witnessed entire families killed in front of them. Talk about psychological baggage. When a individual leaves his home scales all kinds of obstacles and comes to foreign country to start a life......that individual is Ambitious and Driven. Go to that immigrants homeland and you will see "them being routinely late for jobs, calling in constantly, coming in smelling like dank weed, and getting an attitude when you ask them to do something like so many of our people today." With all of that said, are you REALLY telling me that the MIND SET between the immigrants and AfroAmericans explains the REAL difference between our Success and theirs? I mean....you said: 1. Many immigrants don't have the psychological baggage that our people have 2. They had to overcome a lot of obstacles to start a new life so they are ambitious and driven. No mentions of racism, although we both know and agree that it is a factor. But you're said that their success is largely due to not having a lot of psychological baggage and being ambitious and driven! And I agree. These are PERSONAL DECISIONS. At the end of the day, it boils down to PERSONAL DECISIONS and eventually GROUP DECISIONS. Decisions about where and how we'll work. Decisions about what to do with our money when we get it. Decisions about what we will and will not tolerate in our community Decisions about what we'll teach our children and the values we want to instill in them. Decisions - Decisions -
Troy It's certainly one of the places I'd like to go. Have you been to South Africa? ProfD POTUS OJ is definitely pro--rich. Bring that money back to the US. Back??? If they're immigrants, they are bringing "fresh" money into America. However, do we really NEED this as a nation. The U.S. is already the wealthiest nation on the planet. We can literally MAKE-UP and generate all the money we need. They're printing it up every day. So besides excluding a lot of poor people, I'm not sure how this actually benefits the nation as a whole. Yes, it will attract more business people. But why do we need them? We already have enough businesses and entrepreneurs competing with each other already....do we really need MORE? White South Africans aren't nearly as well armed and violent as southern white folks here in thd US. They aren't as armed but based on what some South Africans that I know personally have said, the Whites in "Azania" are far more hostile and racist than the ones in the United States. These Black/Coloured South Africans are intelligent and they all have been living in America for quite some time so they've been in both spots long enough to get a good assessment of both groups of Whites. I keep reading about them still having "all white" and "whites only" towns in South Africa. They don't even OPENLY allow that here...lol. They're willing to import more white folks from other countries to serve ss a buffer class with the perk of enjoying life here in the US. Exactly....reinforcement. I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't start importing BOTH Russians and Ukrainians to America as part of some "peace plan", in order to bolster their populations.

frankster If you're saying that high interest rates and predatory lending institutions lead to the COLLAPSE of the financial infrastructure of Black communities; then you're saying that they ARE the cause of poverty in Black communities. A collapse of the financial infrastructure leads TO poverty. What other outcome is there if the economy or financial infrastructure of a given community collapses???? Most of them were destroyed... Some were destroyed, others were abandoned...especially by those who decided to "integrate" into White communities instead of staying separate and building their own. They moved out of shanty towns down south..... into slums up north - sure its an improvement but certainly not one that takes you out of poverty When comparing those that "Got out." to those that remain trapped.....the vast majority remained trapped In many cases. But in other cases, as I said....they got good manufacturing and in some cases professional jobs that affording them a decent Middle Class standard of living with nice houses, cars, and financial security. Living in overcrowded slums and projects isn't the story for the VAST majority of Black Americans up North. To show how 300 yrs of slavery still affects blacks today But I already know that it does. See, this is what I meant in the other thread about you crowding out the conversations with a lot of unnecessary and unrelated information that doesn't prove your point or disprove mine. Millions Yes.....due mainly to the Civil Rights Movement success of implementing new political policies. With all that less than 10 percent of African American makes over $100,000. then or today Being part of the Middle Classes isn't necessarily about how much ACTUAL money you make as much as it's your lifestyle and what you are able to afford, your education, as well as the WORTH of the money you're making at any given period. Back in the 40s, the average Black man working in Detroit or Chicago in a factory lived a GOOD Lower Middle Class life with a house, able to support his family, and in some cases even had a car. We dismantled racism like how MLKjr did it.....by exerting our freedom in unison. MLK didn't dismantle racism. "we as a people" .....So we are moving from personal decision to political decisions and of course they overlap. Political Decision making includes a whole lot of organizational work and since that is what you are now talking about then...Yes The collective often affects the individual. If "we as a people" decide to stop supporting or even tolerating dysfunctionality in our community then more and more individuals will stop engaging in it. As I said before, part of learning proper manhood is recognizing that your success if YOUR responsibility. This applies to the collective as well. As a group we can sit around waiting on Superman to swoop down and save us, meanwhile Trump gets elected and is in office while we're still looking up and waiting.....or we can collectively DECIDE to focus and concentrate on rebuilding our communities, providing jobs for ourselves, growing our own foods, and.... Since Trump is trying to dismantle the Department of Education ...see this as an opportunity to build and design our own educational curriculum for our children! Whole community of individuals making personal decisions will not save them when they are being politically targeted. So why don't THEY turn the tables and start targeting THOSE who are targeting THEM?

They say a lot of people who voted for Trump are angry because they were working for the government and ended up losing THEIR jobs during the recent firings...lol. They thought he was just going to go after "those people", not THEM. They're also puzzled as to why they voted for him thinking that the price for gas and other products were going to go down but since he's been in office they're steadily rising and with the tariff threats....set to rise even more. -

Troy Any Black man, criminally minded or otherwise has to respect the FOI. They had a MUCH larger presence in Detroit back in the 80s and 90s than they do today. When they marched down the street, people...especially men...used to put away the liquor bottles, joints, and crack pipes and stand up straight and greet the bruthaz or just stare at them when they passed by. I remember they used to go straight up into the projects and some of the young teenagers who weren't quite sure who they were would TRY to clown on them, but by the time they left...they were asking where they could join up, lol. frankster Slinging rocks is not easy...it is froth with worries and danger. It's not EXTREMELY easy, but it's much easier than working most 9-5 jobs, and with far less discipline. Which is what a lot of young men are looking for. A quick way to make money that doesn't demand discipline or accountability from them. You missing the point where trouble seeks them out in the form of structural racism. And YOU'RE missing the point that they actually WELCOME trouble when trouble seeks them, finds them, and comes for them. They aren't trying to AVOID the trouble produced by structural racism; they're actually AGREEING to it by choosing to engage in the trap set by their racist enemy. Look at how so many of them even call it the: TRAP HOUSE. They know dope was put out to trap them and their people and STILL choose to sell it! Most are destitute.. First you say "anyone" below working poor. Now you change it to "most" of them. I'm still not sure if I agree, but you're coming around...lol. In the ghetto all those obese people you are malnourished You know what.... I'm going to go a little out on this one and say that most ADULTS in the ghetto who are malnourished are that way because they CHOOSE to be. I know that the ghetto is full of fast food joints and the grocery stores often have expired and poor quality foods. I also know that most people in the ghetto didn't receive the best education, including nutritional education. However most adults in the hood can read and have grown up hearing that too much fast food, fried foods, starchy foods, processed food, and junk food in general is bad for you and is not nutritious. They consume it anyway with a smile on their faces. I've seen so many grown as men in their 60s and 70s walking around with backs of Doritos and Hot Funyuns, eating like their 12 years old. Many of them don't care. Many aren't TRYING to eat a healthy balanced diet and the reasons are numerous. Yep those are including in my estimation....if you know different let me know by presenting some facts or links. You don't need ME to present them to you. Just browse through any typical Craig's List city by city where both rooms and apartments are usually advertised for rent. Check out the prices. I think i said protocols are not "street codes". Yes you said that. You also said: "Yes they are Codes.....not Protocols" You made it clear that you saw codes as different than protocols. So if everytime you make something the powers that be destroyed....how you going gain from it or have something to show. You are being taught it is no use trying......Learned Helplessness So are you saying it's ok for Black folks to just "give up" trying to do anything or have anything because so many are afraid and have "learned helplessness"??? I'm trying to understand where you're coming from on this. I understand the point you're making, however how long do you think this "learned helplessness" can be used as an excuse not to build anything? Black Americans are the real threat. The success achieved by Black Immigrant Communities is on the Backs of the accomplishment laid by Black Americans While I don't disagree with what you're saying, this is only PART of the story. At the risk of dragging brother ProfD into the discussion knowing how he likes to ride for the FBA...lol...I dare say that one of the reasons Black immigrants accomplish so much isn't JUST because of the foundations that we laid for them. That's a huge factor....but...the fact is as a group Black immigrants tend to have a much better work ethic than AfroAmericans currently as a group. You don't see them being routinely late for jobs, calling in constantly, coming in smelling like dank weed, and getting an attitude when you ask them to do something like so many of our people today. Like Senior Love Daddy from Do The Right Thing used to say: "And that's the TRUTH...RUTH" European Culture is certered around warfare..... African and most Asian Civilization is or was centered around trade. African and Asian empires were built and maintained through fighting, killing, and warfare as well. The Sun Tsu the author of The Art Of War was an Asian military general. They have entire arts and rituals designed around fighting and warfare. Africans have a history of fighting eachother and are STILL fighting and killing eachother over this or that. Just because White folks have ADVANCED the art of killing and warfare with their sophisticated weaponry...doesn't mean they have a monopoly on it. -

We have about a dozen of them at my job alone....lol. While most of them still support Trump, most of them don't like Musk. -
Perhaps the plan is to attract only rich immigrants. I keep reading about how Trump is begging White South Africans to migrate to the U.S. I guess Musk has convinced him that there aren't enough racist White folks of the vicious type in America today, so they need to import some. Tariq Nasheed and possibly Neely Fuller Jr. said that White folks....increasingly becoming a minority in this nation...are preparing to rule AS an elite minority class, which usually means increasing the threats of violence and intimation to keep the masses of their subjects in line. Less numbers often mean the greater use of force. Perhaps Musk/Trump are hoping that the White South Africans will teach them a lesson or to on how to handle Black and Brown (Coloured?) folks when you're a minority.

Perhaps the Feds or even the local police aren't the BIGGEST threats to worry about in most Black communities. If we examine what and who the BIGGEST threats usually are in the 'hood, perhaps the FOI is all that is needed to deal with them. -

Well, with a name like "Bowser"....she really didn't have much of a choice BUT to be attractive, lol. If she had been anything below beautiful...her name would certainly have been used against her at every opportunity. -
He said he actually remembered Rosa Parks because her husband was his barber. And he also remembered the Montgomery Bus Boycott. It was real. Talk about "barber shop talk"...... He said he remembered back then in the barber shops Black men would sit around arguing with eachother over King and the other Civil Rights leaders and what good they were doing and how "them White folks" would never let "niggas" go to school with their kids or be equal with them.....and he said AS SOON as the Civil Rights Bill was passed those same Black men who were talking shit were the first ones to try to date a White woman or sit in the front of the bus or sit at the best seats in restaurants....lol. The same ones criticizing King and 'em were the very first ones to take advantage of his efforts...lol.
