ProfD The question is why don't Black folks already have this information. Intelligence. Money is made from products, good, services and labor. Yes. You have to be intelligent enough to produce the products/goods. You have to be intelligent enough to deliver the service. You have to be intelligent enough to perform the labor. And you have to coordinate all of these things to deliver to the consumer in a timely manner for a reasonable price and all of this requires intelligence. But if your brain is all fucked up and twisted from smoking that fake ass weed, you'll find it hard to just make it off of your sister's couch. Power is acquired through various forms of war which according to NF Jr. is an area of human activity. War is A way of establishing power, but not the only way. Many immigrant communities have power in the United States and they didn't get it from war or mass violence. Jews and Asians didn't use war to gain the economic and political power they have in America. I'd argue that war is a rather UNINTELLIGENT way of accumulating power and wealth because it's saying that you're so stupid and unarticulate that you lack the power to persuade people by showing them how this way or that benefits them....so now you have to turn to VIOLENCE to get them to cooperate. Or in many cases as you see around the world, especially under Socialist/Communist Revolutions......instead of PRODUCING something of your own.....you start a war and CONFISCATE goods that have already been produced by industries and businesses. The elders pushing their offspring to get a good education in order to get a job were not less intelligent. The Silent Generation and Baby Boomers didn't see a whole lot of Black entrepreneurs during Jim Crow and segregation. This is why I said it was good for those in the 30s, 40s, and 50s when racism was more overt and White people had a clear and legal monopoly on the economy of America. Yes...it was smart to focus on getting a good education, a good job, and staying out of trouble. But what about today? As adults, they often end up living in the same communities along with the former prom king and captain of the football team who works at the local auto parts store and former prom queen and cheerleader who works at the grocery store Sheeeeyit....that was back in 1985. Today, Jose and Manuel got those jobs...lol.

ProfD Just like everything else, once it reached the judicial level, a judge decided it was wrong. A judge can't DECIDE that something is illegal. Either it IS or it's NOT. Presidents and Governors have the right to deploy National Guard Troops where they please. So I'm not buying that. If what Trump did was actually illegal, he wouldn't have been ABLE to do it from the jump. Like I said earlier, they are simply just reducing the troops because the SHOW is over. Not because some judge told them to. It took that long to go before the court. It didn't NEED to go to court because there was no question about whether or not the Administration could do it. He clearly could...and did. That's like saying we need to go "before the court" before deciding whether or not to send some illegal aliens back home. If they do that...it's a GAME they're engaging in to stall and eventually release them back into the public. Because clearly you don't need a court to decide something the law has made crystal clear. Presidents deploy National Guards all the time for this reason or that reason, and the legality is never questioned. The judicial branch doesn't have the power to order troops be sent home. They can only rule in legality. The judicial branch doesn't determine whether or not something is legal or illegal. The LEGISLATIVE BRANCH does that.....they MAKE the laws. The Judicial Branch determines whether or not the law which has already been made was violated/infringed. Clearly they haven't been OR all the past Presidents who deployed the National Guard for one reason or another would have been violating the law too, and the issue has never been brought up. Commander and chief means just that. We live in a nation with three (3) branches of government..executive, legislative and judicial. I understand that. Again, the judges don't make the laws....they only determine whether or not they have been violated or infringed upon. There is no law saying the Commander and Chief can't deploy troops. Someone has to bring that case before the court before a judge can decide it. The decision has been made already. We have the right. No need to "renew" something every few years that is constitutionally guaranteed to us. There is a separation of powers between the branches of government. They each have a role to play and a process to follow You mean they each have a role to play in the GAME they're playing on the public...lol They're PRETENDING that they are at odds with eachother when they're really all on the same page and have had this planned out months if not years in advance. There is no confusion as to whether or not Trump has the legal right to do what he's doing. He clearly does.

ProfD Financial success leads to the same thing in other areas of life. Success breeds more of it. Men don't make a lot of money chasing women. However, a man with a lot of money can have plenty women. I think you may be conflating FINANCIAL SUCCESS with SUCCESS. They aren't necessarily the same thing. Remember, success is simply getting what YOU want in life and accomplishing the goals you set out to accomplish. For YOU...success may be mostly financial and see women and social relationships as a given bi-product of YOUR success. For others...their idea success is having a 3-some every night with the women of their choice, and wealth is just ONE MEANS of achieving THEIR success. Juvenile said: U understand? Their main focus is on the coochie....not money. If money, a nice car, nice clothes, or a good pick-up line is going to get them the coochie they want...then.... You see where I'm going with this. The point was that rich and powerful men do not promote women as integral to their success. They don't have to. For most heterosexual men, having women is a given PART of their success. That's why it's common for most men to have TROPHY WIVES. An attractive woman hanging on your arms is a SIGN of your success and achievement. The operative word being *good* which in this case can only be defined by the woman. Agreed. And my point remains, most women desire a GOOD man....whatever he's "good" at, lol. I think you're overlooking the fact that Oprah is already a multibillionaire. No politician or government official can double or triple her net worth. They can certainly PROTECT it and keep it from being taken from her by frivolous lawsuits or trumped up criminal charges that not only threaten her wealth but her very freedom. Remember Bill Cosby TOO was (is?) a multibillionaire. His money alone wasn't enough to keep him out of jail. He needed more legal help or maybe a friend in high office to pardon him or toss out the charges. Nobody is above needing help. Oprah has enough money to see the best doctors on the planet. She can buy a hospital. She doesn't need a man's help for anything. You're being figurative. I'm being literal.

ProfD Most Black folks stressed the importance of getting a good education in order to get a good job. Which is understandable. Especially back in the 30s, 40s, and 50s where the opportunities for TRUE independence were much more limited and Whites pretty much had a LEGALIZED monopoly on land and business ownership in most places in America. But after the 60s when we had a LEGAL RIGHT to open up our own businesses and buy up property pretty much anywhere we pleased..... How many Black folks work in Black-owned hospitals, banks, engineering and accounting firms, shipping and receiving, trucking, etc.? How many Black owned hospitals and banks do we have? I know of one Black owned bank in Detroit. As far as Black owned engineering accounting firms and trucking industries...I don't know of any. Maybe @umbrarchist can start one....lol. However if they DO exist and Black folks aren't working for them in the numbers we would like, the question should be WHY NOT? Are they PAYING as well as the White own firms and offering as many BENEFITS as those White owned firms? All things being equal, I personally would take up to a 20% pay cut just to work for a Black owned company who treated me with respect, in order to see that firm prosper. However a lot of our people aren't into making a whole lot of sacrifices in the name of "keeping the dollars in our community". We have to learn to offer the same or even better incentives White people offer if we want to keep good employees. Look at money and power too. These are just BI-PRODUCTS of intelligence. Money doesn't grow wild on trees like leaves. It's produced by those INTELLIGENT enough to produce it. Power doesn't float around in the air waiting for you to stick your arm out and grab a hand full, it's established through organization by those INTELLIGENT enough to organize it and carry it out! You can't have a powerful community if the leaders are trying to lead people too stupid to follow basic instructions. Tyrone Muhammad tells you to boycott certain businesses because they disrespect Black customers, and you got people sitting up here asking: "Ok..... So if we boycott their businesses right.... Can we still go in and buy something as long as we don't say hello or talk to them? You know... Just strictly business...buy what we need and leave????" They were usually drowned out by crowd pushing for get a good education and a good job Intelligent people, drowned out by those who were less intelligent...lol. Think of how the smartest kids in class were often clowned on and picked on by the class clowns.

ProfD Unfortunately, entrepreneurship is not heavily promoted among our people and often times frowned upon. Most of our people are taught to get a job or career working for someone else. Do most of our people work for others because they were TAUGHT this, or because they INCLINE towards it? Yet again, INTELLIGENCE becomes a factor we have to look at. Not sure about you, but since I was a kid I've heard Black folks give speeches and rallies ENCOURAGING Black folks to own their own businesses and work for themselves and build schools, hospitals, farms, own their own homes, etc.... This message has been made crystal clear for decades now. Perhaps the problem isn't in the TRANSMISSION ...... but in the RECEPTION...lol. "Say what??? What'cha saying nigga? I can't understand you! ProfD Ask a man like POTUS OJ if any of his wives contributed to his success. Wait for the amswer. Don't interrupt. If he pursued them....and got them...then yes. Their contribution to his success is self evident. Maybe not his financial success but his sexual/social success. Rich and powerful white men are rarely shown with their wives if they are even married at all. To the contrary, even GAY rich and powerful White men often pretend to be straight and get married to women to give off the "mature" and "morally stable" image that matrimony provides. A lot of women do not want to be defined by men. I don't blame them. I'd go as far as to say that MOST women don't want to be defined by men. However there's a difference between wanting a good male companion in your life and being defined by one as if you're "nobody" unless you have one. The fact is, most women DESIRE a good man in their lives whether they actually pursue one or not. Oprah is a multibillionaire. Only another billionaire could help her get more than she has already. Or a very powerful politician with connections. A high ranking member of the FCC could actually help her reach higher goals, if she had higher goals. Infact, as she advances in age....having a mate who is a good DOCTOR would be beneficial to her! Nobody is above needing or being able to use help. Again, these successful women do not think they *need* a man. Years ago, I had a cousin who moved up from Georgia with her kids into a cheap house she was able to buy in Detroit for $50. It was in the straight up hood and some of my male family members offered to stay with her for as long as she needed to make sure she and the kids were safe. She kept turning them down because she didn't think SHE *needed* a man either. ....I HAD a cousin from Georgia.

If it was "illegal" for him to deploy them, they why were they ALLOWED to deploy in the first place? It doesn't take 2 months to figure out if something is actually against the law or not. 2. It's my understanding that some of them are STILL there. So it it's illegal...why are the troops that are still there being allowed to stay at this very moment? 3. What kind of nation do we live in where ONE judge says something is ok and ANOTHER judge on the other side of the country says it's not. There are THOUSANDS of judges in this nation. We can play this game with just about any law or action. How about a judge declaring it illegal for all Black people to be imprisoned because of Lincoln's Emancipation Proclamation? How about a judge pull THAT one off?

ProfD Black folks do not have a monopoly on undermining each other in the workplace. Certain types of jobs lead to backbiting and other tricks to get ahead. While this is true, there's a key difference that both you and I know when it comes to intra-racial conflicts. White people will fight eachother tooth and nail BUT when a Black man enters the room they will often put their differences to the side and unite to deal with HIM before resuming their attacks on eachother. With a lot of our people...it's the opposite. When 2 niggaz start going at it with eachother it's often ruthless and no holds barred and they could care less how many White folks are standing around watching it for their amusement. If you just took a roll of toilet tissue home from work 3 years ago, they'll be up in the manager's office telling him all about it and offering dates and times hoping they can find video footage of you caught in the act...lol. No sense of "unity" or "comradery". Creating an economy is no small feat because it would require coming up with something *new* and controlling the entire chain from production to distribution. So what's stopping our people from establishing a national or even global Soul Food Restaurant chain or Black hair product distribution chain? Indians came way over from India and establish nearly a monopoly on 7/11s and motels...lol.

ProfD She's already a successful politician without needing a man's help. Ofcourse. I'm not suggesting that she NEEDS a man in her life to be successful because she obviously doesn't. But my point is the RIGHT MAN will make her MORE successful. There's is little doubt about that. They are known as POWER COUPLES and work together SYNERGISTICALLY. Just like 2 heads are better than one, when 2 intelligent people who love eachother work together in harmony to achieve an appointed goal...their efforts will usually yield MORE than twice the amount of success that each of them would have produced individually. When it comes to the success produced by a strong marriage built on love and intelligence, the WHOLE is greater than the sum of it's individual parts. People hardly ever say, if that man locked arms with the *right* woman he would be more successful. The Nation of Islam constantly teaches the men this, and many fundamentalist Christians, Jews, and Muslims teach this as well. They teach that a man isn't "complete" unless he's married and that marriage brings out the best in him and mature him. I personally believe SOME men are better off married and SOME men are better off single, but to be fair...most religions push marriage off on men as much as they push it off on women. Your scenario paints the picture a lot of women work hard to avoid. If they have to work THAT hard to avoid it, perhaps they need to stop avoiding it...lol. Perhaps it's trying to get their attention for a reason...lol. It may be their CONSCIENCE talking to them and telling them that whatever they're striving for, they could get it much faster if they had a good man in their life that they could depend on to help them. If you think about it, that's just common sense. Not that you NEED it, but who couldn't use more help to get where they're trying to go? Oprah could use more. She doesn't need it.....but she could use it....it wouldn't hurt. Degree of success can be debated but it differs from one person to the another. Facts. Not only the degree but SUCCESS ITSELF and what it means to be "successful" also differs from person to person. For some people, success means finally learning how to roll a blunt while driving. "Jeez.... Never thought I'd be happy to get caught by a red light!"

ProfD Balancing her career as a politicians and having time to deal with a man would be the hurdle. If she found the RIGHT man, he'd be more of an asset than a liability. He could actually HELP her to overcome any hurdles or obstabcles she faces. She's a politician. Imagine if she were to lock arms with a billionaire brother with his own Energy firm down there in Texas. He could not only fund her re-election campaigns but use his business connections to keep the Republican wolves off her back. Threaten to cancel their contracts with his firm if they fuck with his lady...lol. He could also build a plant or two in her district bringing jobs and revenue. Ofcourse, a brutha like that.....she might have to "share" him....if you know what I mean, lol. That dude would be more interested in going shopping or having a girl's night out with her. I can see him being the shoulder she can cry on, if she needs to. But something tells me that our sista ain't much on crying....lol.

It's not about us "lacking intelligence". The question is do we have enough intelligence....as a community...to solve our problems and get out from under the thumb and rule of White racism? Well, you and I both know the problems our people run into when Black women started trying to learn from and take cues from these feminist White women. Now I'm not saying this about our sister Congresswoman Crockett in particular, but about Black women in general.... While SOME women don't need a man, the vast majority do.
