ProfD It's not an actual event but more of a proverbial story he gives from time to time to illustrate the difference between the way a lot of White men think vs how a lot of Black men think and why White men ended up running the world. He says while Black men are bunched up getting ready to go out and drink, party, and bullshit....they walk pass a room and see a White man named "Brian" sitting at a desk looking through a microscope: Black men: Hey Brian, what are you doing? Brian: Examining a grain of sand that was found at the bottom of the ocean. Black men: Man let's go out and party and have some fun. Put the work away! Brian: No thank you, I'm just fine Black men: Well, don't you want to have fun though? Brian: I am having fun....examining this grain of sand from the bottom of the ocean. That's fun to me. Black men: But why? Why are you examining a grain of sand anyway???? Brian: Because it's THERE. If it's THERE it must be there for a reason. I'd like to find out. He tells that story from time to time. A lot of people don't get it, but I got it the very first time I heard it because it's something I've observed in a lot of White people since childhood. Many of them actually LOVE knowledge and want to know shit. They brag about it. They seek it....and more. On the other hand, many of our people brag about being stupid and ignorant. You act intelligent around them or like you know something and some of them will get angry with you, "Man...that nigga thank he know everythang." Not only do they dislike knowledge, they dislike those who HAVE knowledge. Like Chris Rock said in his stand up routine, nothing makes a nigga happier than to stand there and tell you he DON'T know something........

Rice cakes???? Don't make me - I believe rice cakes were invented to satisfy the cravings of weirdos who wanted to know what it's like to eat Styrofoam, but without getting sick.

umbrarchist As is often the case, ProfD beat me to it.....lol. There's nothing wrong with HEALTHY competition. It actually progresses a person and society in general, which is one of the reasons the United States is such a wealthy and prosperous nation today. I'd go as far as to say JEALSOUSY and ENVY also play key roles in developing people...especially men...and making them better and more prosperous in the long run IF....IF...IF...these emotions are channeled correctly. I just told ProfD a story about how back in the day when I didn't have a car....being jealous/envious of seeing (or was I merely imagining ???) another man with the girl I wanted FORCED me to get a car and eventually get her. If I hadn't been envious and forced to compete with another man, it probably would have been a year or years before I got another vehicle AND I probably wouldn't have gotten that particular girl at all. ProfD One *problem is when folks don't know how to lose and/or accept defeat. Facts Not only do you live another day, but you should LEARN from your mistake. ......even if the only thing you learn is what NOT to do. You can learn something from ANYBODY; even a crack head laying on the street. Even if it's learning what NOT to do in life, by watching him. Hey PD, umbrarchist's story about the White boy reminds me of one Neely Fuller Jr. used to tell about "Brian", the White guy with the microscope...lol. Do you remember that one?

ProfD Back in the day (80s and 90s), Michigan, like many other northern states like Illinois, Pennsylvania, Ohio, and even New York to a certain extent suffered from mass AfroAmerican intellectual brain drain as many of the brightest young Black people left the major cities of the North to move back down South. Especially to places like Georgia, the Carolinas, and Texas. Infact, the only thing that saved New York's Black intellectual population was the huge amount of West Indian and African immigrants who came into the city to replace the AfroAmerican youth who moved out in large numbers. But today as the South has become more corrupt and racist and ratchet than the North, most AfroAmericans have decided to just stay where they are. Some are moving to Texas, but for the most part....Black youth aren't flocking to the South like they used to. Infact, I'm seeing more and more Black folks in Western Michigan who moved here not only from Detroit and Chicago but from all parts of the South except for Texas. I'm talking Mississippi, Alabama, the Carolinas, Florida....they're coming from all over because the wages are high enough and the cost of living is low enough in Western Michigan to still make a good living for yourself. Especially if you don't have a college education. As are as Black young intellectualism....... Yes, there are plenty of them...still. Remember however, that a HUGE number of Black youth in America today...if they are educated...are African and Caribbean! They don't share the same comradery and opinions that AfroAmerican youth do...educated or uneducated. If the average Nigerian was to participate on this forum....you'd think it was a straight up White dude posting. -
Delano Women have historically been better at maintaining social connections than men When it comes to connections with the oppressor...yes. The women of the oppressed class have historically gotten along much better with the men of the oppressing class than the MEN of the oppressed class have because of 2 simple reasons: 1. The oppressor didn't see them as competition or a threat as much as they saw their male counterparts. 2. Oppressor men see oppressed women as easily available sex objects. What's not to like about THAT deal? Who liberated more slaves than Harriet Tubman. Who did Huey Newtown put in charge when he went to prison .Rosa Parks was the face of the movement. I would also say that women are more involved in church than men. One could argue that one of the reasons the AfroAmerican community has been in such a dysfunctional shape during and after slavery right up until recently IS because women have been the primary ones in charge of dealing with and challenging racism. If AfroAmerican men actually assumed their natural responsibility as leaders either one of 2 thing would happen: 1. Seeing the Black male as an actual threat who wouldn't "compromise" or work with them, they would....if THE SUPREME BEING allowed them to....just annihilate the AfroAmerican population period so that we'd no longer be a threat to them. Look at what the Israelis are doing to the male-dominant Palestinians. or 2. As a male dominated community backed up by our women, we'd challenge the system and eventually overcome it like our brothers did in the Haitian Revolution. But whatever the case..... If men were the primary ones in charge of our community I don't think you'd have the snail's pace progress and "2 steps forward 5 steps back" that you see with regards to race relations in America. It would be clear cut and decisive. Our community would either make clear progress or we wouldn't be here anymore. No "in between". I heard that if you want to improve a society give the money to women. Since they'll make sure the kids eat and get educated. That's the issue. Who's doing the "giving"? Whoever is doing the giving of the money are the REAL men of the society. So if White men are the ones giving our sistaz the jobs and the money and both they and our children are relying on White men to employ, educate, house, feed, and clothe them...where do WE stand, as men? Troy There are many you complain that a lot of the money given to Black Lives Matter when to enrich the woman in charge... Good point. And unlike the Panthers who were a MIX of male and female revolutionaries but primarily male who struck fear in the hearts of the racists of that time and were effective in feeding and educating as well as protecting the community.....BLM is lead primarily by women and gay men. Not only has that organization been effectively neutralized not even 10 years since it's inception; but their policy of walking around with their hands in the air and kneeling down in front of police officers in protest is BEYOND ineffective. Infact, it's an international embarrassment. ProfD Surely, the white men who control power and money would disagree and laugh. The white women who support them would stand next to them and laugh too. The thing about a lot of poor and working class White women and Trump supporting women that I like is that they say what I want to hear as a man, especially what I want to hear from MY OWN women..... They say that they actually SUPPORT strong heterosexual men and want to be protected by us! For a long time you didn't hear that anywhere from any women of any race. It was politically incorrect for a woman to admit how much she loved and needed the strength and protection of a real man. I made a sistaz heart melt the other week without even trying...... It was about 4 or 5 of us in a bar after work and we were talking about "gay best friends" and why so many Black women have them now. On cue, the 3 sistaz all in unison were defending the sissies and talking about how they can confide in a gay man and don't have to worry about him trying to fuck them and could talk to them about things. I'm the type of brother who knows how to let my deep feelings be known but in a clear and unapologetic way that doesn't even HINT at weakness nor invite disrespect. I looked at them women and said, _______________________________________________________________________________________________ "Yall know what? People feel however they want to feel about that lifestyle but for once..... FOR ONCE..... I'd love to hear a Black woman stand up and tell other women: 'Look, if YALL like gay men and feel comfortable around them THAT'S YALL. But I love REAL MEN. STRONG MEN. Not some grown ass man prancing around sounding and acting like a damn 14 year teenage girl. I don't even like BEING around a man like that. It's creepy as hell and down right disgusting!' I'd love a Black woman to tell a gay man to his face: 'You better take your weak and creepy ass on somewhere. I don't want to be your best friend and I don't want to share no damn secrets with you. Since you like men so damn much....run along and FIND some for both of us; cuz YOU ain't one. Get lost....creep!' I'd LOVE to see just one sista go off on a gay dude like that." __________________________________________________________________________________ The entire group got silent. And STAYED silent until the waitress came over to ask us what else we'd like and broke the akward silence....LOL. We talked about that and other things some more and a few days later one of the sistaz came to me....as I knew one of them would...talking about how she was thinking about what I said and yada yada yada.....the conversation went well. I gave her...and probably the other 2 as quiet as it was kept....a new perspective on how men really feel about seeing them being so friendly to gay dudes. I told that story to illustrate how sometimes it's best to be honest with women about how you REALLY feel and what you REALLY want and expect from them as far as their support in being a man, being masculine, being strong. Like Malcolm used to say....stop sugar coating and lying and tell the White man how you REALLY feel. How dissatisfied you are! He MIGHT respect you and grant you some of what you ask for if you stop grinning and pretending everything is fine. That's getting in the way of progress. I never forgot the first time I heard him say that and I always remembered it and apply it to much of my life in dealing with people. Tell people how you REALLY feel. You don't have to be weak and sissified about it, but be HONEST about it. If we want our women to back us up in being strong...TELL THEM straight up. If we don't like it....I don't....when they support thugs and sissies and freaks and everybody EXCEPT a good strong Black man...TELL THEM. The right-wingers and Trump supports have it right in that regards because they still demand that their women BE women and support them. We can learn a lesson from that.

Most adults don't even have birthday "parties" anymore. Especially adults over 30. They may celebrate by taking the day off from work, going to a club or bar or to the casino, and getting some "special sex" from their significant other....lol. But I don't remember the last time I went to a birthday party for someone over 25, unless they were "special needs" or something like that. Retirement parties....yes. Wedding parties/receptions...yes. Birthday parties....it's been a while.

Troy Ofcourse I'm not 100% sure. I'm not even 75% sure, lol. More like 60%.....as in being more inclined to believe it WAS intentional than it was not based on the factors I laid out above. But it could have been purely accidental. As far as the media conditioning people to see Black women as irrationally angry. Most AfroAmerican men don't need the "media" to convince us that many of our sistaz get irrationally angry from time to time to the point of getting violent. Many of us has seen it first hand enough times to know, lol. Tyler Perry got rich promoting Madea movies that parody the anger and aggression so many AfroAmerican women are notorious for.

Oh yeah..... Like how she started off saying that the other girl may have gotten physically hurt but then went on to talk about HER mental anguish. Like how she was crying tears but at the same time showing off her cute braces with what looked to be a smile on her face. Like how when she said it was an accident quickly broke her focus and glanced down to the side as she said it. You don't have to be a trained psychologist to question her sincerity.
-
Troy I'm curious..... By what grounds do you reject it as being deliberate? Do you have any other information about the matter besides the video? I admit, I actually WAS looking for a second or third strike from her to confirm that it was an actual attack. Striking someone just once...especially with a movement your arm is supposed to make while running anyway...isn't the most clear and obvious sign of an attack. However the way she looked over AT her before striking her says it was probably deliberate. Also, when it was clear that she had been struck....the fact that the girl didn't apologize to her or exhibited any signs of empathy or sorry over something she just did (even by accident) also told me it probably was deliberate.

Rep. Al Green Files Articles of Impeachment against POTUS
Pioneer1 replied to ProfD's topic in Culture, Race & Economy
Where should our elder brother be placed in history? -As the "one congressman" who stood up against Trump during this turbulent period in American history? -As a lone loon? -As some ranting old man? -As the one man brave enough to preserve our Republic? Not sure how to read this one. It probably depends on how many other Democrats follow his lead. I'm also curious as to how much INTERNATIOAL attention is Greene's behavior getting. When people around the world see what Trump is doing, do they notice that there is atleast one Black AfroAmerican government official who seems to always stand against him? Or is he ignored because he's not White? What I WILL agree with you definitely on is he should be working on writing a Reparations Bill. That will benefit us as FBA far more than simple removing Trump from office only to go back to the same ole "same ole". -

Troy I keep telling you............ Many people today...especially the younger people under 35...aren't smart or stable enough to participate on a discussion forum. They don't have the intelligence, desire, or emotional stability to engage in online dialogs where entire structured sentences and paragraphs are the methods used to exchange ideas. I'm not trying to be dramatic or facetious, I'm serious in my assessment. Many of them find it too boring. Besides not being able to post more than 3 sentences...... If there is no beefing with other posters, no insults, or no threats being made...they don't find it interesting enough. frankster attributes it to the dumbing down of society. I'm not inclined to disagree. There are many factors, however the fact appears to be that most people today aren't intellectually or emotionally built for these type of discussion forums. -

Chev They are looking at Caucasian people and not understanding this pattern they have exhibited over thousands of years. This is because they don't know or study history. Even many Africans I know, don't even know THEIR OWN history of their own nation, let alone the entire continent. They know family things that their parents pass down to them, but as far as national history and what White people did in Africa or their particular nation...many are clueless. You talk to some of them about colonialism and they look at you like you're speaking a foreign language harry brown Most. Black. People. Believe. The. Bible. Is. The. Word. Of. Their. God...Bible. God. Supports. Slavery. Sex. Slavery. Genocide. Ethnic. Cleansing. Children. Murdered. .Girls. Kidnapped. Raped Forced. Into. Marriage. ...The. Bible. Used. To. Justify. Slavery. ...Bible. God. Terrorist. .....They. All. Read. ,Follow The Same. Bible. Book. .Amazing.... Reading the Bible actually helped to LEAVE the Church. And it eventually helped me to leave religion in general. I'm glad I read it. The confusion IN the Bible made me less confused ABOUT the Bible, lol. frankster The education is dumbing them down....so how going to know if some one his the capability or not To make it clear, miseducation doesn't actually make people DUMBER. It can make you more IGNORANT or CONFUSED, but it doesn't diminish your actual intelligence. Certain ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS however actually ARE making people dumber and lowering their intelligence levels. True But it is work if you are being rewarded for it and some one including yourself is profiting from it. Vanna white and test subjects etc But Vanna White actually SHOWS UP or (Showed up. Is she still there?) to her job. I had to turn up and do what was require for which I was paid Exactly Where you living why you would think this is the case??? Most have a family member or friend who have a car...so they may have access to a car sometimes but most times they do not That's my point. Why the do not do it.....learned helplessness. I won't argue that this is NOT the case. My point is, most of them CAN improve their diet if they really want to. Almost fifty percent of blacks suffer from obesity....that to me is a result of food desert and insecurity. Along with indifference and poor decision making. If you see a 60 year old man with Diabetes munching on Doritoes and hot chili cheese fries all day long like he's a 16 year old kid, he should know better. Drinking liquor. Smoking dope. And eating junk food. ...that's what he's doing with his money; instead of going to Wholefoods and buying healthy food to cook for himself. Reminds me of a song Ice Cube made back in the day: "Got a bad heart condition (say whaaaaat??) But still eatin' hog maws and chitlins" -
Really? For some reason aka Contrarian seems much more tame and mild, lol.

Umbrarchist This kind of stupid lack of emotional self control is way beyond ridiculous. I agree, it appeared to be a cases of emotionalism and lack of self control. Even if the girl didn't "set out" do do it at the beginning of the race, she likely looked over and saw the other girl getting ahead and striking her become an almost ALMOST involuntary emotional reaction. Troy A national news story... wow. I know.... As sad and as crazy as it was, I don't think this was worthy of being "national" news, except by some racist blogger attempting to highlight as much Black dysfunctionality as they possibly can. Some people....if a Black man simply takes a leak behinds a gas station...if they can get it on camera, they'll post it world wide talking about how "Black guys are animals who like to urinate in public". That's often how racism works.... Subtle, sneaky, and deceptive Not necessarily from GMA or ABC as an institution, but from some individual INSIDE those institutions who'll dig up things that make AfroAmericans or Black people in general look dysfunctional and use their position to push those particular stories. They want to show a Black girl hitting another one with a baton, but in many high schools White girls routinely poison eachother and slip toxic substances into the food and drinks of their teachers. How much of THAT diabolical shit makes National Headlines?

frankster So are you saying that the Civil Rights Movement ...of 70yrs ago unlinked 300 yrs of EnSlavement??? Did I type that? If I typed that, then I'm saying it. But I don't remember typing that, because I DON'T believe it. Again, I'm not saying there is NO connection between Slavery and the problems the AfroAmerican community still faces today my point is you can't blame ALL of the problems or even most of the poverty on Slavery. Hold up....Then Enslavement of African as a a legal practice only ended in 1863.....arguable it stiil exist de facto in various places in the USA At the time of the CiviL Rights Movement many children of slaves were still alive....and a few slave were still alive The loss of 300 yrs of income is still being felt by many if not most African Americans today... Facts that I agree with. And? How does that translate to MOST of the poverty in the AfroAmerican community today being the result of Slavery? Broken Families can be attributed to slavery...directly. Really? So if that's the case, how do you explain the fact that from Reconstruction all the way up to the 1960s the MAJORITY of Black children were raised in families where BOTH parents were at home and married to eachother? Our people being raised predominately by single mothers started primarily in the late 60s. Over 100 years AFTER Chattel Slavery. Western Racism is a product of Slavery... You have it the wrong way around. Race is a recent invention....ethnicity has also always been with us You're wrong...again. The Ancient Egyptians clearly acknowledged racial differences between them and the desert dwelling Semites of Arabia. Ethnicity has more to do with CULTURE, while race is more PHYSICAL differences. The people of Kemet clearly acknowledged the physical differences between them and the Semitic peoples to their North. True....but racism is a product of Slavery Again, this is not true. Racism existed loooooong before the TransAtlantic Slave Trade. I see where you are coming from...The distinction you are trying to make I find disingenuous How you feel about it or what motives you ascribe to it is irrelevant, as long as you clearly understand it. First of all most were share croppers... Although that was a huge practice back then, again...many of our people still had and worked THEIR OWN land. You don't "share crop" on your OWN land. If you are forced to sell in order to stay alive....that is a distress/fire sale... Ok? My word is still bond. It was not a expression of free will Here we go again...... Forget about so many of us having our own land and a measure of wealth. Ignore that part....because THAT part proves you wrong. Instead, start focus on the excuses as to why they lost it without drawing too much attention to the fact that I was correct. Yeah....that's the idea. You are emphasising the 10% percent as if its the 90%....that my friend is duplicitous. I'm stating FACTS. I haven't put a percentage on it like you are attempting to. You're making broad based statements about Black wealth and poverty and I'm providing a more realistic and balanced perspective. It is not wrong.....America wealth was made and stolen from Black Africans during the time of enslavement You ARE wrong about Slavery being the cause of most of the poverty in Black America today. While I agree that America is benefiting from the wealth generated during Slavery, it's an emotional point that has nothing to do with the point that you are attempting to make but failing to. It is hard toput a percentage on it for me.....Slavery is the causeif not a 100% it near that. Statements like this make your argument sound increasingly ridiculous and in-credible. Again, it ignores the drugs, broken families, and prison industrial complex as other major causes of Black poverty. The question then becomes whose ignorance bears the burden of being responsible for causing and maintaining these sufferings and poverty?? Not sure, but if the suffering and poverty being inflicted is INTENTIONAL...as is the case when it comes to racism...then "ignorance" isn't an issue. Those who are inflicting it KNOW what they are doing. They aren't ignorant of that particular deed. Drugs is a product....some one must make it and transport it Who introduce the drugs to Black communities?? US Governement agents are responsible for bringing drugs into the country If somebody you know brought a bag full of cocaine to your house and dropped it off on the front porch, would you use it? If you and your lady were riding together in the car and she pulled out a syringe full of heroin and took some and offered some to you....would you poke yourself also? It's there. Someone introduced it to you. You don't have much of a choice BUT to take it, right? Fake and GMO weed is not weed but a poisonous product... just like so many so called foods sold in the supermarket and at convenience stores I agree. But they're still choosing to smoke it. Decisions Decisions

I haven't read the book yet so I'm not sure of it's content, but just looking at the cover....I'll be honest..... Although it's necessary for women to physically join the fight at times, I don't like how this "new history" seeks to masculinize Black women by constantly showing them in the "tough guy" roles. Again, not saying any of this is implied in the book, however when I see that image it makes me wonder what were the MEN doing that the woman had to be the one to pick up the gat and "resist"? As far as the OP question, is repression required for the preservation of white institutions? Yes. Both repression and more importantly -deception.

ProfD With all due respect, don't be clowning on my sista L-Boogie! Been diggin' on that girl since the mid-90s when "Oooh La La La" came out....lol. While my attention was on them red bones, she (and Naomi Campbell) helped turned me back to focusing on the dark skinned sistaz....lol.
-
ProfD They were together long enough to motivate you to come up off those chips and buy a ride. And also it got her. Despite chasing her for months, I didn't have much success with her until I DID get a ride, lol. Over the years I've seen many other even stranger things than THAT happen that made me question the stability of this Reality. Like that old saying, don't believe even HALF of what you see. Ask them. Wait for the answer. Don't interrupt. No, thank you. I don't want to know THAT bad...lol. They don't need power or money or dates. Just a mutual attraction and opportunity to get down. Man, it certainly seems that way! Gay dudes seem to hook up with eachother based on eye contact ALONE. They don't need money, smooth lines, or play games with eachother. It seems like they just go around staring at other dudes until they find another gay one and next thing you know they're walking around together smiling...lol. I often wonder what would happen if women were as easily attracted as gay men seem to be at other men. At work right now, there's a gay dude who likes to stand there and talk to me about political matters until I have to literally RUN him away, because I dropped some knowledge on him months ago and obviously he likes being around me. An otherwise intelligent young brutha, but sweet as molasses...lol. Him and 2 of his fine ass female friends...all young people...were at lunch one day and I dropped some knowledge on ALL THREE of them, but guess who was the only one who found what I had to say "interesting" enough to keep coming back to me asking me shit months later.

ProfD Land is worthless if it is not developed and/or used to produce goods. Owning land is ALWAYS a good thing. Whether or not you cultivate it, most land is good just for the MINERALS ALONE. Even if you don't do anything with the top soil, keep the MINERAL RIGHTS to the land so that if there's oil or gas underneath you can get something for that! Plenty Black folks will say their family has land down south. Ask what they're doing with it. Wait for the answer. Don't interrupt. Crickets I don't have to ask or wait, I KNOW what most of them are doing with it. If they still got it.....lol Middle class workers aren't wealthy unless they have solid investments. It may not be "wealthy" but it's a lot better position than being locked up in prison, homeless, or on drugs which is where a lot of their children ended up after fucking up their lives with drugs and criminal activity. Being a doctor, lawyer, or professor often LEADS to opportunities to attract more wealth because of the type of people you often deal with...especially as clients. If...as a lawyer...you successfully keep a billionaire out of prison, you don't think he'll hook you up with some solid business advice or investments that will lead to greater wealth? If....as a doctor...one of your clients is a multi-billionaire and is always inviting you and your family to go to vacation with his, you don't think that's going to eventually lead to YOU becoming rich by proxy? Like I said, so many of our people got out of poverty by becoming professionals...but the "street life" was so attractive to their children than they ended up fucking up what their parents struggled for.

One Of The Reasons I'm Not Religious
Pioneer1 replied to Pioneer1's topic in Culture, Race & Economy
That's probably why most modern businesses fail. Poor communication between the owners/management and the workers and what's actually expected from them. Most owners/managers know that most people today don't like being told what to do despite it being necessary to ensure proper operations and expectations. So they don't. And when projects don't work out to their satisfaction...they simply FIRE people; which is one of the reasons the turn-over rate is so high today. If you want somebody to do something a certain way...TELL THEM. And like Neely Fuller Jr. taught....make sure they're PROPERLY TRAINED on how to do it. -
As long as they keep pumping up the American population with that fake-ass weed that makes them psychotic and sell them Monster Drinks morning, noon, and night to give them enough energy to work 80 hours a week....you WON'T hear a lot of public outrage. I'm sure you've HEARD of a book called "A Brave New World", but I'm not sure if you've read it. In the book, it talks about how the wealthy elite were able to exploit the population into making them happy productive workers despite deplorable conditions and extraordinary hours....by pumping them up with drugs that were freely/easily obtained.

One Of The Reasons I'm Not Religious
Pioneer1 replied to Pioneer1's topic in Culture, Race & Economy
ProfD However, every race has folks who are qualified to run a business and hire the folks they need to maintain it. There's no shortage of qualified and competent workers too Absolutely. Every race has a BALANCE of owner-types, manager-types, and worker types. And as a rule of thumb, there are fewer managers than workers and fewer owners than managers. It's a pyramid like that with workers at the bottom making up the majority and the owners at the top. It MUST be like that for it to work. You can't have the MAJORITY of people owning and running the show. Who would they tell what to do? It's like EVERYBODY trying to sell dope. If EVERYBODY is doing it...who would they sell it to? In my observation, most people aren't ambitious and disciplined enough to even make it to management...let alone become an owner. And this is alright because as I said, we NEED far more workers. We don't need everybody trying to be boss. frankster That a result of formal education and societal norms set in place by JP Morgan...."I do not want a nation of thinkers i want of nations of workers". Perhaps. But some of it is just nature. Most people aren't manager types let alone owner types. They aren't disciplined enough, ambitious enough, or visionary enough. I stopped even encouraging people to do it because it would upset the natural order of things. I said come with me there is a position at my company... dude replied "Nygga did I tell you I was looking a Job LOL. The other day I saw a homeless looking dude standing at an intersection with a cardboard sign that said, "I ain't go lie...I need liquor and weed money." Bertrand Russell has a better quote on this topic but his is on how rich whites control One of the things that keeps Bertrand Russell in my memory was reading one of his books that said "natural inclinations that are suppressed lead to perversions". I remember that quote and would bring it up from time to time to explain why there is so much perversion and sexual dysfunction in modern society. That is the nature of the work...seems simply - until you get trap in the cycle. But it's not really work. It's more of "going through the motions". Work...traditionally...brings in revenue based on produce. Sitting around all day trying to figure out how to work the system (which isn't necessarily bad in my opinion) usually doesn't bring the same reward. Even what a SCAMMER does would be likely considered "work" in my opinion. Queens NY got a job in a Chinese company all I did was read the same thing over and over for 3 yrs paid well they then told me about another job For yr and a half I work for this Japanese company all I did was data entry and fill out forms...eventually quit both jobs due to boredom... The Chinese tried for months to get me back. Atleast you were generating revenue. Sitting around filling out applications and typing up resumes has it's place and needs to be done sometimes but I wouldn't call it a "job" because it doesn't directly bring in revenue. Most people in the slums do not have cars....Cars are extremely expensive when you on minimum wage. Most poor people in America DO NOT live in slums. Most poor people live in areas where there is a Wal-Mart. Not all, but most. Most poor people also have access to cars and can go riding around to places they WANT to ride to. Not all, but most. It's a struggle, but we know a lot of poor adults could improve their diet and thus improve their health if they took the personal initiative and made better decisions. And the same can be said of middle class and wealthy people when it comes to improving their diets. In America, I'd say over 90% of the population has ACCESS to fresh fruits and vegetables and healthy foods....if they so wished. -
ProfD I also considered that it was just a friendly hug as well. But in the "vision" I saw.... The way THEY were hugged up with their arms around eachother was NOT the way most male/female work acquaintances hug. They were smooched up like lovers! And she was looking up at him gazing into his eyes with a wide shiny grin on her mouth, lol. I'm telling you I saw it. I walked pass them like I was doing something else and got a good look. Turned around and walked pass them again to get another look. They kept that embrace for a good 1 and a half to 2 minutes. But the strange thing was, they weren't saying anything to eachother! Just standing there holding eachother. And a few minutes after I took my attention off of them to take care of my personal business I looked up and he had left and she was walking behind him, and waved at me with a smile as she passed! Hmmm???? And I'm telling you..... Just like they barely spoke to eachother before. Infact, I don't remember her saying ANYTHING to him before...although I do remember him constantly staring at her (he does that with many women) when he walked by her desk from time to time. ....but they didn't touch eachother or say so much as 2 words to eachother in any given setting anymore AFTER I saw that and all 3 of us were working at that place months and months longer! Unless they were keeping it clandestine. But I really looked at them when they were around eachother and they didn't even make eye contact or smile when passing by. He'd stare at her like he'd do other women but she pretty much kept up the same "just any co-worker" demeanor with him. In other words..... No covert "let's pretend we aren't lovers" behavior was detected.....lol. I'm not sure what else to make of the event. Bottom line is the vision was your motivation. The universe sent a sign that it was time to cop that ride. That's why I told that story. Because that is my belief. But I also wonder how many other "visions" I may have saw that other people didn't experience that probably were designed to motivate me to do something. I don't do drugs and I don't hallucinate. So I pretty much presume that everything I see is Reality. But things like that make me wonder sometimes. Plenty heterosexual men are motivated to amass power, make money, look good and be *accomplished* and/or *successful* on some level is to increase their access to women Lol...what about the HOMOsexual men????

frankster Ok..let's take this slooooow, lol. I'm going to provide you with a more DETAILED explanation of those quotes so that you can properly COMPREHEND what I'm saying and hopefully you won't still see a contradiction. Read my first quote carefully. We can't blame ALL or MOST (though we can indeed blame some) of the poverty in the AfroAmerican community TODAY (not the distant past like Reconstruction or even the early 20th century...I'm talking about this current period.) on Slavery. We simply can't. Not only is Slavery too far distant to accurately make that assessment, but most AfroAmericans eventually made it OUT of poverty by the 1980s. Further, most of the poverty AfroAmericans experienced in the late 1800s and much of the 1900s was because of illiteracy and direct racial discrimination. By 1970s, although it was still a problem as it is today....illiteracy declined rapidly for much of Black America and although work place discrimination was real, most AfroAmericans were able to get jobs...even low wage jobs...that lifted them OUT of poverty. Especially with 2 people working. I said, "...you telling me that Slavery still affect us today (which I agree with)" It's true. Slavery DOES affect us today. It affects our beauty standards. It affects our work ethic. It affects or religious life. If affects our diet. Slavery STILL has a profound impact on us as AfroAmericans today, I totally agree. I just don't believe it's the MAIN cause of Poverty. 2 things led to the increase in Black poverty after the 1960s and neither came from the legacy of Slavery: 1. Drugs 2. Broken families. Both are direct and indirect products of SYSTEMIC RACISM designed to destabilize the Black community....yes...but they aren't a "legacy of Slavery". And before you even try it....DON'T EVEN TRY IT. Systemic Racism is NOT a Legacy of Slavery because it PRODUCED Slavery; not only in the Americas but through out Northern Africa and the Middle East. -The TransAtlantic slave trade was ONE aspect of Systemic Racism. -Drugs being brought into the community to destabilize it was ANOTHER aspect of Systemic Racism. -Broke Families as a result of feminism, the anti-male Welfares system, and living in a sexually liberated society where birth control is purposely limited and the masses are kept sexually ignorant is arguably ANOTHER aspect of Systemic Racism. Do you understand a little better? Do you still see a contradiction as to how I can believe Slavery does AFFECT us but is not the MAIN cause of the poverty in our community today? No generational wealth to pass on - Legacy Lost What do you mean "no generational wealth"???? 1.Many if not most AfroAmericans had LAND in their possession during and right after Reconstruction; but most of them SOLD that land to White folks and moved up North and out West because they were trying to get away from the South. 2. Even today, so many AfroAmericans come from good solid Middle Class families where their parents were doctors, lawyers, professors, teachers and other professions that paid well but THEY decided to go "gangsta" and ended up on drugs and with criminal records and lost much of the wealth their parents worked hard to earn. I am saying Slavery and its consequences caused most if not all the poverty in the Black Community. Then you should stop saying that..... Because it's wrong. By some do you mean less than most?? By "some" I mean less than half. If not then what is?? Ignorance That was true from the 1960's to the early 2000's.....that is now beginning to change and rapidly so I told you, one of the main culprits responsible for the modern poverty in AfroAmerica were the drugs. Now the NEW drug they're pushing on the community and even legalized it to get most of the youth addicted....is that fake ass weed. It's not REAL natural weed, but weed with genetically enhanced THC levels and it's making many of it's users overly emotional and psychotic.
