Harry Allen the Media Assasin Harry Brown I know the question......for you Boitumelo Mr Brown....is just rhetorical...lol. But men cheat for the same reasons some people eat too much. They are undisciplined when it comes to governing their natural urges. Plus this society offers no stiff (no pun intended) penalties for those who engage in adulterous behavior.

I would appreciate more feedback on the ACTUAL SUBSTANCE of my previous post........... But gay people DO seem to be very wealthy, as a group atleast. Somebody asked me a question jokingly years ago have I ever seen a homeless or broke gay man.. I laughed a little...then thought about it a bit and had to admit I hadn't. I have a theory about why this is and it's connected to the educational system. And posting that SNL video of White men who can sing??? Cynique, you're not throwing salt in anyone's wounds....lol. You're just being your usual SALTY self.....'cuz I'm not "wounded" in the least. I've never agued that White men couldn't sing, dance, fuck, or be cool otherwise. Nor have I said they spent all thier time conspiring to emasculate Black men. I simply said that there are those in the media who seem to have an agenda to feminize the image of Black men. The rest of that garbage is just part of your overly active imagination.

Cynique Yes, you really "stepped right into it" tonight....lol. I'm a productive law abiding Black man who abhors ignorant and antisocial behavior, especially when it's perpetrated against people of color (Black, Brown, Yellow, ect). And you have a problem with that? It would be another thing if she WAS CHINESE. But the lady was JAPANESE! It's not about taking credit for it. I can encourage his civility and ASSOCIATE myself with the likes of other civilized law abiding Black people in an effort to combat the self-destructive ignorance that seems to be so malignant in some Black communities. And you devalue YOURSELF and look silly when you repeatedly make up stories and accuse people of saying things that they haven't even come close to saying. Maybe the Panthers SHOULD have done a little more apologizing for the stupid behavior of the most vulgar of our people back then. Perhaps it would have brought more peace and understanding between them and the police and White society in general. They knew who the thieves and dope dealers were. They should have warned them about victimizing the community and if they refused to heed those warnings then grab them and turn their asses in to the police themselves. Even at that time you can't tell me that ALL the police in Oakland, Chicago, and other cities were crooked and racist. Not only aren't all White racist, but I've found out that a lot of those who are racist were MADE that way by seeing so much ignorance and vulgarity among AfroAmericans on a daily basis and I bet many of them are even more confused as to why few other decent AfroAmericans willing to confront them on thier anti-social behavior. You sit up and watch your own people act a natural fool, then you want to get mad at the police and call them racist because YOU were to lazy or indifferent to enforce standard of decency and morality in your own neighborhood. What ever happened to keeping our own in check? The 2 groups bringing this nation down is IGNORANT Black folks and RACIST White folks and both of them feed of of the behavior of eachother.

For a quick second i entertained the idea the Black people would be more successful if they would stop being so beholden to the Democrat Party and kind of balance thier votes between the Democrats and Republicans to make both parties fight on behalf of our interests. But now, since both parties get so much of thier funding from the rich and could care less for the support of the "little man".....I don't think that strategy would be very effective anyway. I'm neither a registered Republican NOR Democrat because I think both parties have policies that are not only NOT in the best interests of AfroAmericans, but now aren't even in the best interests of the American people in general.

It's a sign of how intellectually and morally immature some people are when they will gladly play the role of a criminal, pervert, ignoramous or otherwise social deviant just for money not realizing the devasting effects those images have on the developing minds of young people. Back in the 80s and 90s, I rarely saw Black men switching and pouting and looking sweet in public. But after Jamie Foxx (Wanda) and Martin Lawrence (Shanana) started putting on wigs and dresses and acting like women...... Now you have a generation of young men getting off buses and walking around in shopping malls with silly grins on thier faces switching and lisping and acting JUST LIKE those characters they saw on television as children. Ever wonder why your parents warned you not to make fun of or mock handicapped people or mentally retarded people? In Morehouse College down in Atlanta the Dean had to put out an executive order prohibiting the young men from coming to class in dresses, lipstick and high heels! Yes..... I couldn't believe it until I went down there a few years ago and SAW for myself why he had to do that! Now I'm not gay bashing here..... Homosexuals are human beings and have a right to be who they are, but Troy when you ask "who cares" if Collins is gay or not, it doesn't matter, it reminds me of the argument over the color of Jesus. There are some who ask: "Who cares if he was Black, White, or Brown....as long as you believe." But my answer was always; "Well SOMEBODY obviously cared, because they took to the time to change him from his original color to making him White."......lol. And somebody STILL cares because they're keeping his image as White on most of the pictures and movies till this very day despite overwhelming evidence that he wasn't White...lol. It's the same with Black sexuality. SOMEBODY in the media seems to find it important to put Black men in dresses. SOMEBODY sees fit to include a Black man making advances towards a White guy in prison scenes in the movies incinuating rape. SOMEBODY in the media seems to think it was proper to put a rainbow halo around President Obama's head and call him the first "gay president". And SOMEBODY in the media seems to have made it thier mission to find as many gay Black celebrities and atheletes as they can....encourage them to "come out"....and then broadcast this to the whole world. It's funny to me with all the White atheletes in Hockey and baseball and NASCAR that none of THEM have openly come out as gay. Also it's funny to me how a so-called "gay" man can maintain an erection for and have sex with a woman for 8 years without her having a clue. Being a straight brother, and as many times as I've been around other nude males in school or in camp I've NEVER gotten even a mild erection for another dude, let alone one hard enough for sex because I'm just not oriented that way. Now if you're gay...you're gay. But I'm wondering how a so-called "gay" man managed to get an erection hard enough to sexually please a woman for 8 years to the point she didn't even realize he wasn't liking it? This whole thing smells fishy to me. I wouldn't be suprised if him and some of these other cats weren't being PAID to "come out" as gay as some sort of publicity stunt. When you have young men so confused that they will play dope dealers, gangsters, or put on dresses and wigs and act funny for a little money....why would they be above this also?

I hear the same SILLY "reasoning" coming from some of the teenagers when I correct them for call eachother nigga in public and even brag about engaging in illegal and immoral activities without caring who's listening . Yes, offensive and vulgar behavior can be found in EVERY race; certainly Black people have no monopoly on it. But White people have built great cities, tall buildings, monuments, and established nations that are still in existance today to point to as a sign of thier intelligence. So if one or 2 of them happen to fall through the cracks, who cares? For every one White FOOL you can find 2 who are accomplished and successful. Can you say the same thing about OUR people? Until you can....... Take that Swisher Sweet out of your ear and recognize how SILLY it is in trying to justify stupid behavior among our people by saying White people do it too, lol. And when have I devalued Black Panther women?

That's why I prefaced my comments by saying, "From my limited understanding of them......." When it comes to the history of the Panthers and other revolutionary groups, I'm in no position to separate fact from fiction. History is written and rewritten and rewritten and everybody has an opinion about how things went down. Just when you thought you knew all there was to know about Lincoln and Kennedy; here comes ole rightwing Bill O'Reilly producing books with "brand new information" on these presidents that seems to have escaped all the historians and scholars who studies them for decades....lol. In my opinion, to really know the truth of the past you'd have to actually BE THERE to experience or witness it, Anything else is just that....HIS-story. If it were up to me, I wouldn't even teach history in the educational system.

Republicans have a history of finding the the most uncharismatic "funny style" negroes to get behind for president just to make fools of them. Look at how they treated both Herman Cain and Alan Keyes before him. Both of them were far more conservative than the other White candidates they were running against and used to say everything the conservative crowd wanted to hear but everyone KNEW they weren't going to be president. I never will forget the night Alan Keyes showed up to the Republican presidential debate and Pat Buchanan and the others actually called the cops on him and had him taken away. Watch for it after the 3 minute mark:

Society tends to promote the idea of the Black EUNUCH. A big strong man with excellent athletic prowess but has no sexuality about him except in a negative manner (rape, sexual predator, sexual perversions, sexual dysfunction, ect.....) Have you noticed that more and more often the only Black man welcomed on some of these talk shows is one who is flamboyantly gay? Whether you turn on the television where White men are constantly being shouted and whisteled at by the audience as they come out for an interview..... Go to a movie where a White man is kicking the ass of aliens, bad guys, and Black criminals, and still finds time to come home and make love to his woman......... Or just look at the magazines next to the check-out lanes in your local grocery store with a weekly list of the "hottest hunks" and all you see are White faces........ White male sexuality is being pushed hard today. If you notice, 20 years ago it was New Edition, Jodeci, and Boyz 2 Men that had the girls jumping up and down screaming, the powers that be took notice and used the media to promote the Backstreet Boys, Nsync, ect....... NOW where are the Black "boy bands"????? No more Jackson 5, now you got Maroon 5 If you want some soul, no more 112.....now you got Justin Timberlake in a tuxedo dancing and spinning around on Saturday Night Live or some clown in a t-shirt beating on a guitar and crying about "hey soul sista". This isn't by accident but part of it comes from.....as we've so often discussed on this site....Black people being ashamed of and tending to downplay Black male sexuality. Since so many Black men are ashamed to be sexual today, many young White men see that as an opportunity to exert themselves into the role of "soulful lover".

I'm not sure who you took that "take" from...because it's certainly not mine. I firmly and definately believe that God exists. Yep. That pretty much sums it up. I see you've learned SOMETHING from our dialog....lol. A true student of Buddhism would take exception to what you just said, lol, If your way is based in truth....why not be FIRMLY based in it?

Not only did Jamal have a criminal record but so did many if not most of the other Panthers and it's that criminal behavior that leads to so much trouble inside and outside so many of these grass roots organizations. From my limited understanding of them, many of the Panthers studied Malcolm X and modeled thier organization as a militia based on Malcolm's call for the Black community to defend itself. Like Malcolm and the Nation of Islam many of the Panthers were from the streets and had criminal records....but UNLIKE Malcolm and the Nation they were pro-Communist and being more political didn't have much of a MORAL foundation to keep themselves in check.

Believe me, I'm not trying to start static by saying this but............ What was wrong with those women playing the typical role of women and sacrificing part of themselves to give sex and comfort to brothers who were actually getting things done? How come they couldn't atleast ACT like they loved playing the supporting role when they had men out there risking thier lives and freedoms on behalf of the Black community? Was that asking for too much? Hell, if you'll screw a man to get some drugs or to get him to take you to a movie...what's wrong with doing it as a reward for community activism? Men from every nation around the world enjoys support and backing from their women who stand back and cheer them on and seem quite happy and excited to do so.....that is....except for "you know who". It seems that when....."You know who"....begins to look for HIS woman to cheer him, too often he finds her sitting on a curb somewhere chewing on gum with a mean scowl on her face looking like she really doesn't want to be there, lol.

Lol, must I bring the dunce-hat and stool in from the other room? I'm one of those who believe and insist that every problem has atleast ONE solution and most problems have multiple solutions. Also, problems can actually be a way to improve things beyond the original state! It's oversimplifying the issue to just say that Black people are just turning against eachother. Again, many Black people are SEPARATING themselves from the overwhelming ignorance and immorality they are seeing so much of and feel they can do little about. I went to a beautiful Japanese resturant for lunch today and it was a nice and peaceful environment until....."you know who"...showed up. I should have known there would be trouble when I saw a Black woman in a Fila tracksuit and a long blonde wig fitted improperly on her head...... A few minute later I heard the sound of a loud hoarse voice commonly heard in the back alley of a ghetto but rarely in a Japanese Resturant in the suburbs and it was fussing and arguing and demanding this and that and a few minutes later I saw 2 or 3 Japanese employees going in that direction and more arguing and threats to call the police. ((shakes head)) The lady who runs the place knows me and saw me looking at the incident and later came over to apologize for the scene but I stopped her and instead apologized to HER for the stupid and silly behavior of that woman. Why? Because SO MANY Black people are acting a straight up-n-down FOOL today that if some of us don't acknowledge it and apologize people will begin to think we all either engage in or condone such anti-social and disgusting behavior. As a kid I didn't think I'd be one of "those" type of Black people. The type who went around apologizing to White folks for the behavior of Black people. I used to think it was so Uncle-Tomish and unnecessary. But here I was apologizing on behalf of the Black race to this Japanese woman as I've done other times to Whites, Asians, and even Black Africans who've had first hand encounters with the IGNORANCE that hate produced. We must separate and distance ourselves from the dead weight in order to progress and move on.

I look at it like this............. If you're getting some sort of concrete benefit from it like using social media to start a business, make more money, or keep up with a child.....I can understand. There's a legitimate purpose for it. It's an investment. But just to yap and yap and talk about the same rehashed garbage that you just got through talking about 15 minutes ago, it's a waste of time and energy. It also makes you look weak in my opinion because it's like and emotional crutch that people have to lean on. I would feel ashamed to just call another man up and casually ask, "So what you doin'.....where you at".....without something productive to ask or tell him. But I'm an introvert by nature so people who know me have often told me that most people don't look at social interaction the same way I do. I can go for 2 or 3 days without talking to anyone. Most people can't do that, so I take that into consideration when I try to figure out why people spend so much money on social media and post all thier info on places like Facebook and Instagram.

I agree some of this is divide and conquer, but much of this dislike and Black people distancing themselves from eachother not only culturally but often physically is often done for quite logical reasons. Certainly not all or even most, but too many of our people are just plain stupid and ghetto. There....I said it. Too many of our people are steeped in ignorance and vulgarity to the point of it being unbearable to deal with, and those who WANT to live peaceful productive lives often don't know what to do about the situation. They don't want to get hurt either physically or emotionally dealing with the vulgar and callous people that the modern ghettos of America often make NOR do they want to contribute to Black-on-Black violence by defending themselves and hurting their own people out of frustration or self defense. .....so they run away and try to get as far away from Black people and what they see as "Black culture" as possible.

Waterstar You're right, as Troy has already pointed out America isn't really a Democracy in the first place. It's a Republic where you ELECT politicians to rule over you and make laws that you HOPE are in your best interests. This is something that I've noticed for decades. I think it boils down to a lack of discipline on the part of most AfroAmericans. It's sad to say, but I think too many of our people NEED to have thier lives planned out by someone else and told what to do in order to properly guide and focus their energies in a productive manner. That's why I say that we need a STRONG MAN or very strong leaders who can and will force our people to be productive. Alchemist Actually the recent history of Egypt, and Iraq, and Lybia.....to me...would be an excellent example of why authoritarian regimes DO work. When those nations were ruled under the iron fist of a dictator who kept much of the population under a certain level of fear....they maintained order and stability within the borders. They people were so busy working they didn't have time to go wild and raise hell. As soon as these dictators were removed and there was no clear leader and the populous were freed up to do whatever they wanted to do......the shit hit the fan. Raping, robbing, murder, terror.....social order just deteriorated rapidly. Well....... Democracy certainly isn't a "spectator's sport"....lol. People should become more politically involved, but that's just not going to happen for the most part. It's like touting a college education as a key to success. Yes.....education is good, but MOST people aren't going to get a degree no matter how much you encourage them so we should find a more realistic alternative for them to succeed in. Well it's the same with politics..... Most people don't know what's going on politically, and most don't give a damn unless it affects them personally in the short term. That's why they elect representatives and send them to the capital to do thier thinking for them, lol.

You weren't sure exactly WHAT that opinion might be, but whatever it was you were sure you'd find it quite entertaining. Well...... I support films like this for 2 reasons: 1. I think women should have the option to pay for sex and companionship just like men and films like this seems to promote it in a fun and straightforward way. 2. Most (if not all) of the members of this site may disagree with the statement I'm about to make but......... In an age where the Justin Timberlakes and Justin Beibers are being promoted by the mainstream media, I think it will help bolster the self esteem of young Black men to know that they are still good for something....and are sexually desired in Western society.

That's the first time I've seen Malik Shabaaz (brother pictured in the video) in a suit and tie...lol. He's a local activist in the city who usually wears African gear or Black Khakis. I keep warning people around the country to pay attention to Detroit, what's going on in that city WILL SPREAD to Black communities around the nation. Here we go with the token Republican negroes, lol. First you had Alan Keys Then Herman Cain. Now this dude. Ben Carson isn't going to be President. I doubt if he'll even hold a major public office. His oversimplified half-ass conservative political views to the side............... He doesn't have the personality nor the temperment for an executive position. He's too soft spoken and although he's extremely intelligent he doesn't have the personality to command respect or excite the emotions of his potential base the way an effective politician has to do in order to be taken seriously. If you ever listen to him speak, you have to wonder how long it would take for him to make a decision the requires immediacy (is that a word?)

Believe it or not, I learned in my 20s that being honest and bold got me more sex than trying to be slick...as long as I was able to ARTICULATE my intentions and feelings rather than apologize for them. Coolness works in social situations, the problems occur when this habit of being "cool" extends past sexual relationships to school and work where so many think they can slick their way to success not understanding that these institutions involve more logic and intellectual ability than basic social interaction. And for those who are still too silly to figure it out..... Let me state plainly....I AM NOT TALKING ABOUT ALL BLACK MEN.

Admin I know what you mean.... Back in those days before public education, only people from middle to upper class families were even literate. But those who did learn tended to get a superior quality of education because it came with smaller class sizes and tutoring to ensure that each child had more attention from the teacher. But between you and me, I think what makes the letters in those documentaries SOUND so amazing is the way they are presented. They usually have a man with a very rich voice reading them along with some Mozart or other classical music in the background to give one an old time nostalgic "early America" feeling, lol. I rarely text. I've told people if you have something to tell me, CALL ME and tell me. I don't even have a texting plan on my phone....the shit costs money every time a text comes in. The only time I really like texts is if they're giving me some information I may forget and I don't have time to write it down or I'm driving and can't. Not only does it weaken one's writing skills....personally, I don't think all this texting is very masculine anyway. A man is supposed to be efficient, alert, and "ready to go" at the sign of danger. While his lady is busy talking to him or taking in the sights, brother man is supposed to be scoping out the environment for potential threats to him and his woman. Far too often I see a young couple crossing the street and the man is so busy texting and giggling at whatever the hell he's looking at that his woman has to pull him by the coat to keep the fool from walking into traffic! These so-calls "smart" phones are making people dumber and more dependant on technology not just for intellectual support but EMOTIONAL support. Most young people can't sit still with their own thoughts for 5 minutes without whipping out a phone or Ipod or some other external source of stimulation. They get nervous and figidy if they can't have their pacifiers and comfort blankets. And I feel sorry for a lot of boys trying to talk to girls today. There used to be a time when you saw a young lady by herself that was your chance to pull up a chair and get a conversation going with her. Lol....now she's NEVER by herself. As soon as she sits down she's whipping out a phone and pulling up a list of friends to beg a conversation out of. Those skills are actually required for survival TODAY. Look at the millions of "relatively" decent people who are homeless, unemployed, and locked up in jail from "crimes of poverty" such as minor theft and dope peddling in America today. If they knew how to fish, hunt, farm, and build thier own homes like our great grand parents did.....atleast most of them would be able to run off into the woods and support themselves off the grid. But because of survival ignorance they are stuck in the city and forced to rely on the local 7/11 or a few churches who receive thousands of dollars in federal grants and dole out a few cans of soup and spam to feed the hungry masses. The future is like a guest who is always expected but often unrecognizable (that's an original quote of mine....lol) While some of us are waiting on a major apocalyptic event like an earthquake or nuclear holocaust to turn humanity back into the stone age where millions of people are roaming around aimlessly living in a primal state..... All we have to do is drive around the major cities of America and look at post-apocalyptic effects of a post-Reagan Era and how it destroyed much of the population not only financially but socially and intellectually.

I'm glad they've discovered their talent for sports and it's making them rich and keeping them off the streets, but that's about as far as my pride in most of them goes. I think many if not most players in the NBA and NFL think like and behave as prized slaves. No sense of ownership, no sense of character, Oh yes, when it comes to physical fitness and sexual escapades they are VERY masculine but when it comes to political and social causes many are essentially eunuchs without the balls to stand up to or against mainstream opinion. Many of the older and more mature pro athletes try to imitate middle aged White men by getting married...married to women who really don't love them and wouldn't even talk to them if they weren't millionaires. Only to end up divorced a few years laters with the skeezers snatching half of everything they owned. Wealth not properly earned (through productive work and wise investment) is often easily lost. Now wait a minute...... Leave the Pistons out of this, that's not a fair fight....lol.

It's a good idea if your target consumers are 5th graders. It would be even more effective to include cartoons, and maybe flavor it with words like WHOA!!...BAM!...and WIZAMM!!! (holy headhunters batman!!!) from time to time just to emphasize certain points, lol. But seriously, if you can get your point/message across in 50 pages or less...by all means do so. No sense in boring the read with a bunch of excess garbage just to add volume. But I DO see this as a symptom of the "dumbing down" of America. People seem to be getting intellectually lazier and lazier. At my job I'm seeing young people (mostly under 25) who are actually spelling "people" as "ppl" and using other text slang in thier work documents. If you look at people over 60 years old who actually graduated from a public highschool and their penmanship as compared to the average person under 30 (even with a college degree) today and you can easily see evidence of academic deterioration. Infact if one really wants to see evidence of academic and quite possibly intellectual decline in American politics, just look at the language used by the politicians who wrote and signed both the U.S. Constitution and Declaration of Independance. It almost reads like Shakespearean poetry.

I knew at the top of the list would be fictional books about sexual fantasy. But I'm glad to see that a very inspirational book I just got through reading was #4 on the non-fiction hardcover list: The Wealth Choice by Dennis Kimbro This is an excellent book; a guide for all would be AfroAmerican entrepreneurs....word is bond.
