Any Thoughts on Tavis Smiley and life after MeToo

My simple point is that, unlike many who have gone to jail and reduced or others who evaded jail and reduced. Smiley fought to turn his nulling into a rebuild and I think that warrents commending. 
I am not suggesting anyone like or dislike Tavis Smiley, but like his determination to be in the industry he has given most of his life too, even after the penalty for past actions, whether you concur to the actions or penalties or not. 
Smiley hasn't evaded penalty, but hasn't been broken by penalty.
