  1. The next few months after the Solar Eclipse should be interesting. Especially from an astrological POV.
  2. Reggie Lewis worked Michael Milliken who was not Black, but one of the sharpest minds and weathiest in the history of Finance. I happened to work at the same company. And saw Reggie Lewis in the Elevator. He did the biggest offshore deal at about 2 Billion in 1987.

  4. Would you rather make love the same way forever or have it be different every time for one lifetime.
  5. Maybe being omnipotent is external. Like you can effect the outside world but not the internal one. If you are omniscient you wouldn't need to go anywhere and see stuff, you would know it. Which like I said earlier could be frustrating.
  6. Troy use as much hyperbole as you like but if you use statistics you have a responsibility to not make it up. And pass it off as science. No Troy We are disagreeing because climate change is to important for you to be wrong about. I am glad that you admitted you made up the numbers. However I didn't call you a liar. Please point out where I said you were lying. I am just saying your ignorant about statistics. Yes my reasoning escapes you but I believe I have summed up yours. Climate change is to important to be wrong about. The only difference between me and people that beleive in climate change is the following I use a tenth of the energy they use. For about 20 years i rode a bike to work. Didn;t have a TV for 20 years. Never owned a car.
  7. You are funny, how am I being dense when I knew that you made up the numbers. You are avoiding doing the calculation because you don't know how, In addition to me giving you a hint you still can't show and prove what you know. You are right you don't have to show me. I stuy numbers Troy and neither you nor Scientist can lie with statistics to me. One other thing statistics is different than math. You could have use the Central limit theorem. And approximated the answer. You could have reread my explanation from three years ago. You could have tried to figure it out. You even could have take the Zscore and and subtracted the appropriate propabilites. You could have used the Binomial formula. . In statistics you can test a sample a small as 40. It just means that that the normal curve is steeper. Z = x - Mu/(std dev) http://www.dummies.com/education/math/statistics/how-to-find-the-mean-variance-and-standard-deviation-of-a-binomial-distribution/ Once gain I am not trying to convince anyone to be for or against. I am suggesting that people including you think about the issue. And if it is to complicated than make an informed decision by looking at both sides of the issue. I have said this numerous times but I will say it again. Just because I don' believe in man made Climate Change doesn't mean we shouldn't try to clean the environment. I think before fixing a problem it helps to understand the problem.
  8. People that want to rule frequently turn out to be tyrants and dictators.
  9. The first graph is temperature changes, the second is population https://aalbc.com/tc/applications/core/interface/imageproxy/imageproxy.php?img=https://www.c2es.org/docUploads/global-co2-emissions-historical.png&key=72c81feb68c76851f4e813242b1677a368151c6650e41f8ce680976afa7d418a
  10. The only original response by you was get option 4. Which isn't a valid solution. You have the only response that isn't valid. You stopped thinking to early. This is the other half of the puzzle. What can you do with the broken chair to be able to sit at the table? Option 4 does nothing with the broken chair. Everyone else utilizes the chair in their post. Sometimes you can be so focused that you miss the question. However I wouldn't have thought of your answer.
  11. A mirrior is a reflection. So in the world I live in, a mirror reflects only image. So it can reflect a castle but you can't live in that reflection.
  12. Pioneer oddly enough some of your off the cuff comments are things I have thought about. And more than as just a passing thought. The only way for me to be mistaken is if the entire world is part of your dream. There are are more ways but I am mirror your use of absolutes.
  13. . Your analytics is commendable, but the reading comprehension is letting you down. Yes there are options that I hadn't considered. However I was aware of that being the case. I will give you a hint my answer is right. It is not a trick question, but it requires you to read the sentence verbatim. And then start thinking. I wouldn't have thought of your answer or Mel's for that matter. You and Mel are more similar in that your approach had a social component. Whereas both of mine were not.
  14. @Troy I am not dismissing you. I am encouraging you to think. Which implies that I think you are capable of doing so. Yet you seem resistant. Perhaps I am wrong in my assessment of you.
  15. In the 1980 you see CO2 emissions climbing and population. So prior to 1980 tempature is not tracking with CO2 emissions. So if you can read the graphs you can see there doesn't appear to be a link from the industrial revolution to 1980.
  16. So the industrial revolution saw the wide spread use of combustion engines and pollution. Notice there is,nt a big spike in the 1840.
  17. Hyperbole. I heard him speak. I have started another thread Critical Thinking vs Analytical Thinking.
  18. I remember seeing the my children's mother 7 years before we met. Why I remembered someone I didn't talk to is a bit of a mystery. Funny, since my current partner and I seem to have some past life connections. Pioneer you are mistaken your life for Life. Which puts all of your statements in perspective.
  19. Yes Troy Real men want to finish in five minutes to get back to "bonding" with other men.
  20. Why do we defend our convictions. When We haven't tested them, in addition some assumptions are not possible to verify.
  21. An ex asked some her friends about whether they thought I was more masculine or feminine. The masculine polarity people saw me more masculine and the feminine saw me as more feminine. And one person saw me as have a balance of the two.
  22. You and whoever answered your questions.
  23. Or they are not open to everyone.
