America will never pay, in cash, what we are owed. That simply is not something white folks will put up with. Believing this will ever happen and spending the energy trying to make it happen is futile. Now they might pay us what they owe, with a one way ticket back to Africa. That would be much more palatable to the White racist, and white folks in general, I'm sure. Reparations and a ticket to the Motherland, I'd take that offer today.

We are sharing anecdotes from personal experience. I'm not suggesting my experience is universal. Yes I've seen 50+ Black women who looks much better physically than women 20 years young. Here in Tampa, FL the majority are obese a good percentage morbidly so. Now I've dated some tight 50+ year old women, but they are in the minority ... and they know it. Of course, you gotta be realistic, but you don't have to be 5'4" and over 200 pounds at any age. 🙂 I always wondered about that; maybe they have bidets at home. Besides I wouldn't know as im not trying to be involved with a 20 or 30 something year child.

I listened to a few minutes, of the hour long video, but anyone expecting to find a their favorite major American city The Gambia will be disappointed and should probably stay in America. Besides I was talking about two week stay which includes a week long festival attended by Black people from across the diaspora. For those willing to step out of their, accept some inconveniences, and take a risk, the possibilities in Africa are boundless.

Yeah these organization are indeed small and exclusive. Shoot my kids couldn't even get into the Manhattan Jack and Jill Chapter, the Black people we knew would vouch for us, so my ex got them into, less toney, Bronx chapter. If it was up to me alone they would not have been in the organization at all. , People often as me why I never pledged a frat in college. First, I had no clue what a Black Greek letter organization was -- none. My only exposure to fraternities, prior to college, was the movie Animal House. But even after I learned what frats were and understood the appeal, if I had the desire to join I had neither the familial connections, grades, or the money to be let in. To this day I'm not a member of any Black social clubs or fraternal organizations. I keep saying to myself I should try to join one, but then I confronted with the question of why ... and I never came up with a compelling reason. That may change but right now I remain what the the Black Greeks used to call a "GDI." It was derogatory, but I found the designation appealing 🙂

Interestingly, this has been my personal observation as well. I'm sure this will come across as misogynistic to people like FAS, but this is also a personal observation and will further the point you made; many Black middle aged Black woman have let themselves go physically. The published rates of obesity in the Black community would support this observation. This might also substantiate why more Black men marry white women. Other white people, like they always have. Ruling over Black people is/was a relatively recent phenomenon.

You are aware of Jack-n-Jill; the primary reason parents join to to expose their children to other middle class and upper middle Black children. Some Black parents are indeed quite fixated on encouraging their children marry well. So I would disagree with the idea that: It is perhaps the reason you don't pal around with a lot of wealthy African American's. It is an rather insular crowd. But this is not unusual as people generally pal around with people of the same socio-economic class.

The Chinese are WAY ahead of American Black in term of business development in Africa. Their infrastructure projects alone would blow away anything we could come up with in the short term. I have challenges doing business here in the states; bringing in an international component would be more more than I can handle. I suspect the same would be true for other small businesses. I do promote many businesses based in Africa, websites, bookstores, events, etc, but handling business transactions is not easy. It is not just a matter of getting the word out there needs to be mechanisms in place to help people understand how to make it work.

Apparently, many more Black men, than Black woman, marry outside the race; according to the author. I suspect, this is a matter of supply and demand -- just a short supply of Black women. Many Black women, who reach middle age, are simply no longer interested in a relationship and make themselves unavailable, while the most financially secure and successful sisters often connect with white men, as observed countless times on this forum. We often hear, in the mainstream media, that there is a "shortage" of eligible Black men, as they are locked up, gay, or otherwise unavailable. It seems this narrative is not supported by the data. @Pioneer1 as you probably already know I don't think any of this is part of some master plan of an evil cabal of white supremacists hell-bent on world domination and the eradication of Black people 😉
