I have, and that is how my opinion was formed. Please share any documented story of one of the millions of people who have died and resurrected and I'll take a look at it (no Bible stories please). You, yourself, called the conversation "Near Death Experiences." Why go off the deep end and now say people have died and been brought back to life? Sure it seems real to them, but this is a mental disorder.

Questions like, "What advancements were made by Blacks when they got the Pandemic Stimulus money?" Make no sense. My assertion that you are exhibiting troll-like behavior is not limited to this question it is based upon a pattern of your posts. Your strong, but baseless support of Trump, your Coiid denial, and other things strain credulity. Even your question, “What happen to the money all those instant millionaires received from the lottery?” tells me you did no research onto why some lottery winners burn through all their money. Still this has nothing to do with Black-owned businesses and just seems like weak attempt to disparage Black people, something a Troll does. Again, if I truly believed you were a troll you would have been banned already. It is not an attack just an observation. I've been running forums for over two decades my opinion is an informed one. If the "guru's" income is derived from telling YOU how to to get rich, then you are generally being deceived, because they are getting rich off of you.

Yeah, things seemed to be better for us when we were forced to run our own schools and businesses. But I once we were free to patronize white businesses, Black-owned ones suffered -- unless they got the "white co-sign," which signals to Blacks that the business has been validated.

Bacon, there is actually is no such thing as "mixed race." Culture is a completely separate issue and you should learn about both of your parent's cultures. We are all better served by learning about other cultures. That is one reason I operate this site, to provide a way for people to learn about different so called "Black" cultures.

Interestingly, I have never really distinguished the two words in this manner, but now that I think about it "Nigga" is the word I most often hear, as in; "Yo, wassup my nigga?" Now there is a distinction between different words and pronunciation. I believe nigga is just ebonics for nigger, so I'd still discourage use of the word, however you wanna pronounce it, unless you are interesting in being crass or strongly insulting someone.

I don't know about "many" Danielle, as Lisa wrote she only heard back from two. As a bookseller I don't want to have a bunch of accounts to manage, so if there is an indie title that I want to sell that is not in distribution I will just buy the titles from the author. Pastor Paula White Cain ... never heard of her. But I don't pay attention to these charismatic ministers. You write in the last thread that T.D. Jakes schooled her. I'm not surprised. I attended a TD Jake's service in Dallas one. The "church" is an arena. Jakes appeals to people on a very emotional level. People around me were in tears -- seriously. The power he has over people is powerful. Many people need what he gives them. The appeal of Trump is no different. Both men understand human nature AND are willing to take advantage of it for monetary gain and power. Not everyone can do this -- even if they know how. It does take a skill and some measure of psychopathy to be able to exploit someone in that manner. They say pimpin' and easy; if you have a conscious it is very difficult.

I remember the first time hearing both of those albums. In fact Eminem's first album may have been that last rap CD I purchased. I still have my copy of the first Beastie Boys I enjoyed the humor in them. Both artists did something different with the form. By the time Slim Shady came around rap had already ben coopted, so I'm not surprised Em is from Kansas. Langston Hughes is from Kansas and he is perhaps the most recognized figure from the Harlem Renaissance. People create fictional origin stories for a variety of reasons. Sometimes they say they are from some larger city when they were really from a smaller nearby town no one has heard of and it is just easier to say the more recognizable location. Sometimes when people ask where I'm from and I'll just say New York City. If they probe further, I'll say Harlem. If is not unusual for white person to say. "you don't seem like you are from Harlem." But those are people operate on stereotypes (@Pioneer1) and I do not fit many people's (Black or white) stereotype of someone from Harlem.
