A few Sistas had very attractive bodies and were dressed provocatively, so it was hard for me not too stare. A buddy, I was with and I pondered whether the girls which try to attract the attention of the brothers present. He thought they were. I didn’t. I mean if I approached one and said “would you like to dance?” I would’ve felt like I was interrupting them. I’m not exactly a homebody, but this was a new experience for me. I had a good time though 🙂

I believe as profd suggested the reason has to do with class, that is education and financial resources drives maturity — not what you call “race.” Do they? Ever watch Jerry Springer? Hillbilly Elegy, a book rife with white dysfunction, has been on a New York Times bestsellers list for a couple of years. Why do you think Donald Trump is so popular? America is obsessed with dysfunction. There are entire media platforms dedicated to showcasing dysfunction — black and white. Social media algorithms optimized to push other peoples dysfunction attracts attention. I’m at a loss to explain the energy time and money so many people have put into gossiping about P. Diddy on YouTube. I have to step back and understand it is the algorithm constantly Shoveling all this shit in front of me — otherwise I think our country was insane.

@tipsyturv one can’t look at someone and determine ethnicity. Ethnicity speaks to language, shared history, culture, and other things that have little to do with what a person looks like. In terms of relationship, father and son, maybe grandfather and daughter?

He said they needed 1000 more. He says more than 2000 people were killed in the hurricane Milton. I did not believe him because the news did not report nearly that late. I asked him why did the news report that many deaths. He says you can’t believe the news. I was like if there were that many deaths they need to report it. that way people would actually leave when they tell him to leave.. I said well maybe they did report those deaths because they don’t want people to leave the state….

Yeah but @Pioneer1 is too young to be thinking that way… I’m a boomer my kids tail end of the millennials and Gen Z have a lot of shit to deal with, shut we handed them. Even if everything pioneer says is true we can help rather than complain about them.

No, I don’t think most Korean will come to the US are racist. You are shoehorning and American on Koreans for no good reason. If Koreans are racist, why do you presume they would only be racist against Black people? Also, there is a bias; people who choose to come to America from Korea probably have some very significant differences than the ones who choose to stay. For example, if you choose to leave your home and culture behind boarding entirely different one, being racist would not be very helpful and surviving in a foreign country. What is helpful is to be highly motivated. So why is that? Do you think it is as part it says due to laziness I think if you thought it through for a minute, you come up with some other reasons.

I remember this clearly because it bothered me. both times the other kid was in a gang. I had no one backing me and I know I would have won both fights. In the moment I felt like I was being a coward, but the reality was, I was being smart. Now, if I was being bullied regularly, it would be a different story. You have no choice, but to fight. You have to know when to fight and you have to know when the back down. Maybe regroup and come back when you are in a stronger position. Today being in a stronger position means getting a gun, which is why there are so many shootings over bullshit. I used to always say I could never be a slave. You’d have to kill me MF! But as I got older, I realized is very easy to say that when you’re not actually living it.

yes, otherwise it’s just you talking. Gangster rap has been around 40 years. Negros have been killing each other for a lot longer than that. Yeah, I have crossed paths with the brother — very charismatic. But again, this is just another brother talking. People can say anything. I’m more client to agree with the good @ProfD I want this one. l don’t know anybody who was killed because the killer just listened to an N.W.A. record, but I do know plenty of dues who got hurt over drugs. I don’t have the data. I don’t think anyone does, but I’m sure this is not true. I say that because I look at a lot of romance and I do see white men on some books. They are in the minority of them and I’ve never seen an Asian man paired up with the black woman in a romance book. You can scan these 500+ Romance titles I’m sure asian man, Black woman, romance novels must exist but again I’m also sure you’ll find more Black men than Asian men paired up with Black women and romance books — especially if they’re written by Black women. I don’t see anything wrong with non-black men paired with black women in romance novels. Now, if non-black men and black women would’ve majority of the titles I would be concerned certainly, but those aren’t the books that I’m seeing, and I look at more books than most.

Don’t think of it that way; it will be a complete paradigm shift. Our increased productivity will allow our government to provide everyone with solid minimum income, just for being citizens.
