Astrological Prediction the end of Trump's Presidency
Troy replied to Delano's topic in Culture, Race & Economy
Hey @Delano anything to say of Trumps odds be becoming president -
Man, you know these are all talking points from the movie Uncle Tom II I shared.

Why bother trying to understand? Huge portions of the Black population in the former European colonies are descendant from white men. @Pioneer1 you'd call most of these people Black because you are fixated on phenotype. The idea of multiple human races is really something we need to dispense with as it relates to human beings. It only purpose was to justify the elevatation of e one so-called race over another. BTW @Pioneer1 I'm still waiting for you to show be some 23 & me test for race...

Here too I'd argue that it is not. Some people, for example, believe gay men are evil, an abomination other believe they are inherently good.

A Short History of Hair Discrimination-- Bad Hair
Troy replied to Chevdove's topic in Culture, Race & Economy
BTW @Pioneer1 I had to look up the identity of your avatar. Why pick such an obscure person. Did the Canadian do something for the people in your neck of the woods? -
I agree and I did not mean to suggest that supporters of RFK Jr. are too. The Black Republicans I know are socially and fiscally conservative. They also despise the ghetto subculture. They also buy into all of the rightwing rhetoric that people are the only reason we lag behind white people as a group economically.

The war against Hitler and Nazi Germany was considered good except by the Germans. The war against Hamas is considered good by ZionistsI and bad by Palestinians and many Americans. Regardless of who wins. Good and evil are social constructs. There are no universal definitions across cultures and time. This is why you need laws and people to enforce them.

All of the human beings running around today are all direct descendants of Africans. Exactly, even Christians can’t agree on whether abortion is good or evil. That can’t possibly be true, given the above example about abortion. People — especially religious ones — can justify ANY action as good or evil.

Again @Pioneer1 if you are dictating your posts, as I am now, all at manual dexterity is a irrelevant. But yes, posting from a computer is a lot easier. I have gotten so used to posting from my cell phone that occasionally I will be crafting a post while sitting at my computer using my cell phone when I realize it would be much easier just like onto the computer sometimes I switch to the computer, sometimes I continue using my cell phone. One thing is for sure you gotta go back and review the text. There will always be errors and sometimes to do that if I’m in a rush.

A Short History of Hair Discrimination-- Bad Hair
Troy replied to Chevdove's topic in Culture, Race & Economy
In in the article you provided @Chevdove I read a Black woman was told to chemically straighten her hair, or lose her job, at the department store Harrods in London — a store I’ve actually been to. I worked for a company with a British employees would tell me that they were able to legally consider a woman’s appearance if She worked in a customer facing job. They thought it was silly you couldn’t do that here in the US. There are plenty of jobs where people are discriminated based upon their looks. Maybe there’s a job where having a head full of dreadlocks might not be a great idea — perhaps like a store like Harrods. If I open a Bookstore featuring books by Black writers , I would be inclined to discriminate based upon race, all other things being equal. Would that be a bad thing? -
Funny I’m using a cell phone right now. In fact, most of the time when I post is on from my cell phone. I dictate most of my posts. I often post while laying in bed right now. I’m sitting in front of the TV watching this bullshit called Uncle Tom 2. It is well produced propaganda. I’m watching it just to see how the other side thanks. YouTube put a age warning on the video. Perhaps they know that it is full of misinformation. That sister, who did the video talking about how the Democrats of old are the same as the ones today appears in this video. I was unfamiliar with her prior to that video that Nels shared, but I see now she is part of the whole crew of people spreading these lies.

Because the man is nuts.

LOL! @Pioneer1 Toothy, it is fluoride in the NYC water but you are probably again that huh? You know what my mom is 86 and she has never had a cavity -- neither has my sister and she is pushing 60. I have had a few, but mothing serious not root canals or anything like that, so I guess there is a genetic cpmpoent too.

While I did not watch the DNC live, I did listen to Kamala’s speech 90% of it anyway. The media keeps going on and on about how Democrats are all energized now. As if anybody who was gonna vote for Trump will change their mind now. Can anyone explain to me why they think Kamala has a better chance at beating Trump than Hillary Clinton did — as she’s white! Was it the email server, pizzagate, her husband. That said the main thing hurting Trump was his actual presidency and January 6. Hillary did not have that advantage, so I think Kamala will win.

That seems highly unlikely. As with Obama, their appearance of showing favoritism to poor Black people is a liability. Harris made it clear: She is the president of all the people which we now recognize his code for don’t worry I’m not doing anything special for Black people. I actually did listen to her speech early this morning. A couple things jumped out at me. One was the use of the word “lethal” and describing the type of military, she wanted to build I believe she said the most lethal. Now you know, they went over every word in her speech with a fine tooth comb and to use that word striking. I assume it was chosen to appear to all the right wingers that might be on the fence…. I’m still casting my vote for her… choosing my poison.

Insane. Like a bad movie.

@nels What are you trying to accomplish? Are you trying to inform and educate? Are you trying to convert people here to the Republican party? What? You you've been here for years; you should know that most of the regular posters here are not just one thing. We may be conservative on some issues and liberal on others. We don't do any of the things that you've listed. However, you are guilty of a few. Most recently "Try to prevent people from learning facts that are based on truth." Your recent post saying that the democratic party of 150 years ago is same one today. Why did you do you expect that argument to work on us, or anyone with a high school education? We pointed out the obvious flaw in your argument. You reacted by doubling down saying that the parties have not changed?! Look, you are not dealing with ignorant children we recognize that both parties have flaws and the Black people have not been truly served by either any political party since the founding of this nation. Now given the choice of the Presidential candidates Harris and Trump, the best choice is clearly Harris -- regardless of your so-called race. Both are flawed but one is profoundly flawed -- a global embarrassment as our Nation's leader. Unfortunately, the Republication party under Trump's control has become a trainwreck. No one reasonable hates republicans -- just because they are republican. Some here may hate Trump, but he is just one man. I liked the way Mike Pence stood up to Trump when it mattered most. There are righteous Republican and Democratic politicians, in Congress, trying to do the right thing for the American people, but the divisions and the resulting dysfunction is making it difficult to accomplish anything productive. Your posts attempt to fuel this division. Perhaps increasing division is your goal, but to what end?

Former POTUS Meeting Israeli Prime Minister
Troy replied to ProfD's topic in Culture, Race & Economy
The media is doing the same thing they did the last the first time Trump ran for president — giving him tremendous amount of airtime and not seriously condemning, rejecting or ridicule, his outlanders statements and lies. I used to think they did this solely for ratings. But they may be doing this because the owners of the media (and I’m not just talking about Fox News) actually want the man to win because of his support for the wealthy. -
@ProfD apparently that devil did have a record of violence against other Black people. Benjamin Crump is pursuing civil rights action based upon that.

This was the first year of my life that I’m feeling my age, and that is mainly because of my knees. People say that I look young for my age too. Funny thing is, they are starting to say that about my oldest daughter. With my three daughters.
