What organization is powerful enough to get a bunch of guys together to fly airplanes into both towers of the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and potentially the White House all to create a plausible excuse for the destruction of the world trade centers? Why would that organization do that; to flex their muscles, just for kicks, why? Without a plausible suspect and motivation I think is more reasonable to believe airplanes alone caused the collapse absent analysis from a reputable body with evidence to the counter (all due respect to your analysis).

All Economic Warfare is Based on Deception

Sad, but seemingly true… You probably learned something, but I get your point. I didn’t take calculus in high school, but I took it in college as well several courses in higher mathematics all of which I have forgotten. My grades in these courses were not good I had a problem understanding the concepts years later I watched a YouTube video and a light went off. I recall, thank you man. If the professors just explained it like this, it would’ve been so much easier. I took many courses and did not learn very much. I’m not sure if it was my fault the professor‘s fault or combination of both probably the later. In all my years in corporate America and as entrepreneur, beyond the basic skills of reading and math, I everything I needed to know on the job… -

What?! In almost 12 years I don’t think Pioneer has ever acknowledged being corrected. I’m gonna play the lottery today! -
Talk about the pot calling the kettle black LOL!!

It’s called an investment is done all the time. Your math is a little simplistic. It’s not a matter of addition and subtraction. Sometimes you make an investment @richardmurray that pays dividends down the road. So you spend X today and tomorrow you gain 2X or 3X or X2. local municipalities like New York City have to balance their budgets. Only the federal government has a luxury of incurring multi trillion dollar deficits, but that’s because they can print money. The federal government, I’m pretty sure, subsidizes the MTA not alone just free money. Frankly the New York City fare is relatively low compared to other cities given the size of the system, the and hours of operation. Perhaps the biggest downside is the lack of connections to the airport any city worth its salt has direct rail to their airports. MTA also has a huge pension fund to support. I’m not sure what percentage of it budget liability but I’m sure it’s substantial and probably grows every year. I doubt New York City can afford to run its public transportation system without losing money at least not without cutting services elsewhere and/or raising fares. I think the subway system and buses should be free. They can get the money to fund the system, by increasing the sales tax, making corporations pay their fair share taxes. Increasing the local taxes on the wealthy, etc

I’m not so sure the bus has the lowest fair evasion. I take the M60 from LaGuardia airport to my old neighborhood in Harlem several times a year and nobody pays to get on and I mean nobody. I know that’s just one bus line, but I also am aware that the drivers aren’t really enforcing payment of fairs. people get on the middle or the back of the bus and it’s all good. The problem is enforcement across-the-board. The MTA has set a standard that the penalty for evading payment of ones fare is nonexistent.

Africans Converting To Foreign Religions
Troy replied to Pioneer1's topic in Culture, Race & Economy
The hyperlink text I provided above “it was a lot” runs a Google search with the quotes. Man, there is even a Wikipedia entry for Ethiopian Bible. I always find a curious when people make statements that are, easily and demonstrably, shown to be false. -

I’ve never seen a query with zero hits. So I’m going to run to query now and see what I get…. It was A LOT. Maybe I misunderstood; what do you mean you got zero hits @umbrarchist? -

Ain’t dat the truth As far as the video, I wasn’t actually recommending that people watch it. I was just giving my opinion. I was curious if others have watched it. @ProfD It is interesting that he said he would try to relate some information from the spirit world after he passed and apparently hasn’t done it. I remember Harry Houdini saying he would do the same thing I guess it doesn’t work that way…. Or maybe it can’t be done. -

@ProfD, anybody did you watch the video? You actually don’t have to watch it. I blew by the 10 minute intro and listen to the rest of it while taking a walk. It was interesting enough for me to listen to the whole thing. This video is actually the first of two parts. It is convincing. I plan to listen to the second video on my next walk Sometimes I think we can have a paranormal experience and not recognize it or see it as such. -

Nah I don review non-Black movies. There a bazillion people doing that already. I found the film interesting, but the book was better.

Actually, these traits likes skin color, height and hair color are Phenotypes. I tried to warn you, once you start debating the concept of race with Pioneer you'll be bogged down in opinion, anecdotes, and pseudo-science. You really went out on a limb with that statement.

You've recommended on more than one occasion books that are freely available -- a good thing. I was just putting out there that there many good even better new books available; that's all. -
@umbrarchist I get it. My question has to do with who is behind this conspiracy and what is their motivation? The examples that you have accused Scientific American Magazine, university professors, the government, the broader scientific community even, by implication, StraightDope of hiding the truth. Who do you think has the power to corral all of these disparate entities and then to hide this story? Any serious journalist would LOVE to discover and be the first to report any credible evidence that the WTC was destroyed deliberately (that is what you are saying right?). Now we know Amiri Baraka got into trouble for saying that all the Jews stayed home. But apparently all the Jews did not get the memo because Jewish people died during 911. Now if it was a conspiracy, I don't actually think you would know who is behind it (please don't say the Illuminati ). But you can speculate on a reason for killing all those people.

The first aliens film was very good. The rest not so much. I’m not sure why Tananarive, it’s so hyped on this new installment. I just watched the trailer and it doesn’t really peak my interest. I haven’t seen a movie in the theater since killers of the flower moon And that was because I lived in Oklahoma and read the novel on which the film was based. I’ll probably wait till the film is streaming.

No, the term does not make sense really. What I’m saying I’d that the points I shared were shared in the film (I watched about 1/2 of it). As gentlemen is to man, lady is a formal or polite way to refer to a woman. Not exactly willy-nilly, but I’m not aware of any formal definition or qualifications for being called the lady. Same goes for any disparaging words you can think of. Meaning also comes from context as well. Again that line is straight from the uncle Tom movie.
-
That is a good question. Why do you think that is?

Free is good, but we have to fund to work of contemporary Writers whenever possible as well. -
@umbrarchist when Africa Awakes is featured on this website as well as the books by Dr. Jeffrey B. Perry on Harrison’s life. I don’t think his life was shoved under the rug. But I will say Hubert Henry Harrison is not widely known, but that’s because people don’t frequent and share information on sites like this one instead they are on Twitter bullshitting,

@umbrarchist What did you write to get booted? I know exactly where Tyson lived. I knew the family who lived there before him. I too was puzzled on how both buildings could pancake so perfectly into on itself by being hit by an airplane (albeit jet fuel laden). I assumed there was no conspiracy. If there was one what was the point; warrantless surveillance, TSA, bombing the middle east? Seems there were easier way to accomplish this without killing 3 thousand innocent American civilians. I heard of Destee and Lipstick Alley, but never StraightDope I'll check that one out. Did you ever try social media Facebook, Twitter and others?

@Pioneer1, I put @umbrarchist in his late 60's maybe 68 given what he said. Sounds like a smart guy to be courted by "Big Blue" in the 70's. I sport an Malcom X goatee nowadays, people say it becomes me, otherwise, I'd be clean shaven. I would have loved to see the Staples in the 70's! I saw Gladys Knight a couple of weeks ago. She is obviously way past her prime, but did great for a woman in her 80s. Pioneer, Mifflin Wistar Gibbs was a Republican LOL!
