A recent article by controversial Chicago Sun-times columnist, Neil Steinberg, advanced a theory that he shared with his readers because he wanted to observe Black history month from a different angle. Today is Groundhog Day. Wonder if the little varmint saw his shadow. And, speaking of shadows, it's also the beginning of Black History Month, a celebration that hovers in the shade of White History Year. People have started to voice disapproval of this annual observance but, something is needed to rival the the 4th of July, a holiday which is the sole domain of white America.
