  1. But I wanted to specialize in a particular TYPE of movie...... Although it wasn't what I was thinking about earlier, we DO need a movie about the Haitian Revolution.
  2. richardmurray MAN....I thought about YOU today at work when I was washing my hands, lol. I was talking to another brother and had a quick FLASH of inspiration of the type of movies I wanted to make if I had the money and connections to produce them. I had them down pat, exactly what I wanted to produce.....and messed around and forgot it by the time I got home. We were talking about Denzel Washington and his new Equalizer movie.....and then he wanted to play Hannibal in another flick. I wanted to do a SERIES of movies kind of like that. Along the lines of Equalizer, Matrix, Friday, etc.....
  3. @harry brown they also hear: you’re not good enough, you’re not pretty enough, you’re too loud, you’re too black, you’re not smart enough, you’re not civilized, you’re not smart enough, you’re not worthy, the only reason you exist is because I let you…. How do you suppose they digest that information? Who are you blaming? Perhaps the question is, are you blaming? As a People, and through it all, we continue to persevere. Is one community language more detrimental and another? I’m asking for a friend. IM SO IN LOVE WITH MY PEOPLE.
  4. Lol....yall heads are shaped the same, but that's just about where the "resemblance" ends as far as I'm concerned. With all due respect to the brutha, Adams looks like a turtle.
  5. Man, that time is now. I'd be willing to bet you don't walk to down the street worried about some rabid racists. If you did, I suggest that you block all forms of media that "pushes" to content to you whether that is an autoplay YouTube video, social media feed, or search engine result -- yeah, I know that is pretty much everything online 😮
  6. Black folks definitely have to keep their head on a swivel and stay ready when it comes to being targeted for attack in one way or another. I hope for a time when we can live in peace, joy, happiness and prosperity; not having too worry about being attacked or harmed by anyone including racists, white supremacists and even some of our own folks.😎
  7. Someone can bring up an accusation from 30 years ago and it gets international coverage. The Guardian sees fit to withhold the accuser's name but puts him on blast before anything is adjudicated. Side Bar: I'm often told I look like Eric Adams. A couple are Black people who know us both.
  8. LOL! Despite the pun that is true Good?! That is the understatement of the year.
