Yeah, I'm always on other forums because I need to read analyses of what's going on the world. I am constantly checking the goings on in our world. I was worried about you. But I debated inquiring about you lest such a move would lead to a furor. Unlike others, you are truly polite. More than two years ago, I posed a thread alleging that White Supremacy had not dimmed and was still lethal. I was surprised to receive blowback and opposition from several posters, one of which was Troy himself. This was the time shortly after David Duke and the Klan had been supplanted by Donald Trump and his myopic and racist “Make America Great Again” crowd. So, I began posting a series of news stories about horrible racist incidents and there were many of them. This was when I was greeted by a pure clown who called himself Nels. He began posting nonsense from right wing websites and the Washington Times, which used to promote Sun Myung Moon’s Unification Church. Nels was not the only one. The sad reality of many of these posters who attack the Black Race continuously is they ignore the multitude of micro aggressions that Blacks must contend with every day. Which are actually crimes of racial harassment. There actually is no shortage of really silly and illogical people in this discussion group. Which is why I spend much of my time on other forums where the writing is far superior and numbers of intelligent posters with logical and plausible explanations always defeat the racist crazies. Someone tell me what the status is with the Green Comet. Can I take off this bent, folded and torn tin foil hat? I do not believe there are any aliens living among us. The vast distances between Earth and other stars is too much of a hurdle to overcome. And scientists and astronomers have concluded that the fastest an object with mass can travel - is the speed of light. But I do believe the Earth is undergoing major environmental changes and nothing can stop this from continuing. But no heavenly body, except the moon, can exert visible changes on Earth as it does with ocean tides. The sun can slam Earth with all sorts of radiation and geomagnetic storms as plasma erupts from the sun's surface. But unless it's gonna grow arms and yank our planet to its bosom, we're going to be okay.

@KENNETH The influx of migrants has definitely affected Black people in New York City. I doubt you live there. Did you read this line from my thread starter? Migrants do not make decisions of what municipal budget items will be fully funded and which ones won't be. It is clear from all the publicized incidents involving the homeless and mentally ill, that New York City simply lacks the funds to follow through the needs of all its residents. This is NOT the fault of Black politicians on the Dem side who have been clamoring for more funding from the Biden administration to take care of migrants. It is because the Biden administration must still defend this country from external threats such as Russia and China, while forking over $30 billion a year to Israel. I can just imagine what $30 billion a year could do for New York City. But no matter how badly Biden wants to help migrants, the majority of Republicans will oppose his measures. As it is, the GOP is demanding massive spending cuts to approve a debt limit increase which occurred three times under Trump. There simply is no extra money. The Biden administration was spending $60 billion a week to shelter unaccompanied minors and this was back in April. Biden admin spent $60B to house unaccompanied minor migrants

But not for those who want a fully nuanced and credible retort. I had to look a several news stories and three websites of analyses before I hit my keyboard. And I'm still not happy.

What’s going on in Sudan? White interference – as always. Some of you maybe familiar with the Wagner Group, the Russian private army that acts as a brutal spearhead for Vladimir Putin’s military in Ukraine and Africa. In reality, Wagner Group is a collection of mercenaries that are extremely violent and commit atrocity after atrocity. Wagner also steals diamonds and gold as well as spreads disinformation and props up autocrats to expand Russia’s influence in Africa. Wagner has been operating in South Sudan for more than a year, interrupting and taking over gold mining operations to help finance Putin’s invasion of Ukraine. Most of the rapes, summary executions of men, women and children in Ukraine have been committed by militia men from Wagner. The closest comparison I can offer to the horrors of Wagner Group are the mass murders committed by the Einsatzgruppen, the para military death squads of the Nazi Wehrmacht. The Einsatzgruppen operated in the Soviet Union in the aftermath of Operation Barbarossa, Hitler’s invasion of Russia. Human Rights Watch has accused Wagner of committing atrocities in Mali and the Central African Republic as Russia re-establishes the political dominance it enjoyed on the continent in the 1970’s. However, what Russia really wants is the same thing China and the U.S. want in Africa: Access to rare earth minerals, seaports and airbases and control of local political scenes. Like China, Russia dangles contracts purportedly for commercial concessions that often enrich only the rulers of a nation or territory. The real problem is there is no financial trail that can tie Wagner assets acquired directly in Africa to the fighting in Ukraine or Sudan. So, there’s no way to reliably pin down which fighting group in Sudan benefits. All that diplomats, analysts and pundits and the public can see that Black people are suffering and dying. Russia’s invasion of Ukraine is plainly idiotic and hasn’t delivered to Putin the prestige, riches and accolades he was hoping for. The war has cost him plenty in men and war materiel as evidenced the lone tank glimpsed at Moscow’s May Day Parade. It seems Russian armor is needed at the Ukrainian front. I said the Ukrainian invasion was never an attempt by Putin to reconstitute the Warsaw Pact as one person on here claimed it was. Clearly, Putin will not “get his band back together.” And Black Americans cannot turn the violence tide in Sudan as another poster said they could. There’s plenty of news stories and some rather well written analysis pieces on Wagner Group and what it’s doing in Africa. People should read them before spouting uninformed nonsense from their keyboards. Reading one will not suffice. One must look at three or four to get a reasonable intellectual handle on the situation. Despite contending with two recent horrible mass shootings, Texas Governor Gregg Abbott just cannot stop attacking Latino migrants. Neither can Florida Governor Ron DeSantis. “The cartels are working in collaboration with President [Joe] Biden and the federal government to facilitate that illegal cross-border,” Abbott said. “We are being overrun by our own federal government. He attacks the sitting U.S. President. I guess he wants the migrants machine gunned. Neely was clearly in need of mental help - but never got it.

Was the non-violent path charted by Dr. King, his associates and hundreds of others been worth it? Sure it was. However, times have changed. If you really think that Black people can take on the vicious and heavily armed members of White Supremacy groups, then paint up some signs and begin advocating for it. The killer was dressed in military fatigues, was armed with an AR-15, the go-to tool of many mass killers and fools and also sported a patch beloved by those who cannot stand us that said "Right Wing Death Squad." Now, if ya'll need a treatise on the non-violent approach meaning something that is no way symbolically or philosophically connected to Dr. King - then get someone competent and knowledgeable to author it. I just cannot see gathering up a bunch of Black folks and getting violent over years of poor sewage. There are more intelligent ways to address that problem.

China will end up ruling the world. Napoleon Bonaparte predicted this a couple of centuries ago. The Asian giant is already laying claim to multiple deposits of rare earth minerals in Africa and it wants to dominate large swaths of the Pacific Ocean. It continues interfering in the U.S. legal system, swipes high tech without letup and is biding its time in preparation for an air/sea invasion of Taiwan. Chinese ship captains are itching to prove their mettle against the U.S. Navy. China outfoxed the U.S. when it notched a cooperation pact between arch rivals Iran and Saudi Arabia, secretly aids Russia's brutal invasion of Ukraine and does its best to dissuade economic independence for certain African nations. While all of this appears to catch Joe Biden and the Democrats flatfooted, it does not seem to alarm Republicans. Since most in the GOP despise the whole of Black Africa anyway. Unless they can steal its vast mineral wealth, commit mass murder and get away with it. This has nothing to do with me personally anyway. I saw this coming years ago. And have written posts about it.

It really comes down to whom young Black females emulate and look up to. I still shoot the occasional portrait and always aimed to produce an image a client would be willing to pay for or at least show off. It can prove daunting to try to achieve a happy and lasting smile on a female who has been maligned, labeled unattractive and suffers from low esteem. But that's a photographer's task. The main dilemma shooters face are unrealistic expectations on the part of some clients, being lied to and believing naysayers. However everyone is different and I concentrated on women, families and parties.

Fox Spews will always claim it is a news network. The company's next challenge is fending off a defamation lawsuit from Smartmatic USA. This company sued Fox News and its anchors Lou Dobbs, Jeanine Pirro and Maria Bartiromo in New York, seeking $2.7 billion. The lawsuit alleges Fox pushed also conspiracy theories through Rudy Giuliani and Sidney Powell. If Fox wants to close the case quickly and avoid a trial, I hope Smartmatic takes the settlement money. That would the most intelligent thing to do. Smartmatic partners with Los Angeles County. None of these cases will stop the GOP from lying most of the time and attempting to foster the murders of Black people though.
