  1. Dude, seriously ... stop it. Everything is not connected to Slavery. And I posted the truth.
  2. Pioneer, You should know I don't care what you think. You appear desperate for attention. But you're actually comic relief.
  3. Insurance may have helped. But there has to be an insurer willing to underwrite the risk for reasonable premiums. Floods, fire and structural collapse are the three enemies of longevity for written materials housed in buildings.
  4. Why we need to kill each other at all? If we could be fair, there would probably be enough resources for all or for most. Bragging about advances in killing implements is not something we should win accolades for.
  5. No. Are you stupid? The answer would be YES. You have a runaway ego and think everything you write is perfect and must be browbeaten into others. The problem is you rarely think. And this is why you often sound like a petulant child few will pay attention to. You need to weigh your words before posting them. Or you will continue being comical.
  6. @Troy I may be wrong, but I think you meant: "We could not protect ourselves from predators or find food." That's judging from the preceding sentence and overall theme of your paragraph. The Human Race has not evolved to the point where we want everyone to be free from danger and from want and free from greed. We've made advances that enable the powerful to justify their control of millions through war, deprivation of food and shelter. Our weaponry and disdain for those we consider lesser enables horrible punishment for non-compliance to the wishes of the rich. We've refined mass murder and mass killing to the point it's no longer a question of morality. But more a debate of expediency. Who benefits?
  7. You truly are entertaining. This is almost as good as your DEMAND that all Blacks leave California because Mexican migrants have settled in Southern portion of the state. Or that the troubles in Haiti can be solved by having folks on their half of Hispaniola reject beliefs in Christianity and adopt devotion to African spirits. I know it's most difficult for you to read explanations, but here is what Slav means: https://www.britannica.com/topic/Slav Unlike you, I don't make things up.
  8. Those definitions came from dictionaries. Of course, you would refuse to agree with them. You're not that bright.
  9. It's kind of easy to do ... because you are such a dumb cluck. So, know you know what Slavic means. Try doing some research.
  10. Evidence and Proof are what different court jurisdictions say they are. We can have hard opinions on each. But those means little to the individuals who will render verdicts.
  11. Yeah, here we go, Mr. Phony. No great numbers of Blacks have left California because YOU said they should. And that's why you refuse to answer. For your information, the term Slavic is a derivative of Slovenia and refers to language. It has NO connection to Slavery, according to its Etymology. But of course, because you tend to post so many untruths and rarely research anything, you wouldn't know this. Etymology of the term Slavic Now, you know.
  12. @Cynique Good retort. Despite his many polemics and rants against Black people, Nels is still permitted to continue posting his noxious garbage in these forums. It is mostly Black hating and foolish. When I claimed White Supremacy still exists, the GOP stands against Black people for this, and I was roundly attacked. Despite me posting evidence in the form of several news stories that offered proof of my assertions. Nels reminds me of the clownish Blacks I've encountered online who couldn't stand President Barack Obama because they were jealous of his communication skills, his ability to write. His savvy at fashioning coherent and truthful opinions and his talent at attracting millions of admirers. There is no one on this forum who can match Obama's flair. In fact, there are few Black men alive who can match his soaring oratory. In his Esquire magazine feature story "A Case Against Black Republicans," Pulitzer Prize winning author Mitchell S. Jackson wrote: "I disbelieve that Black people are homogenous and should vote as monolith. However, I do believe the present version of the Republican party is out-and-out undeserving of Black support. In fact, Black folks who support Republicans in light of their long train of abuses and usurpations do so at the expense of justice for Black people at large." A Case Against Black Republicans I agree with him. I've always been wary of Black people who tout Republicanism as the answer to the ills of the Black Community. To me, they are worse than insecure. They are desperate for attention and have little problem bashing Black people to achieve this. But the ones who lionize Trump are the worst. Nels seems to be one of them.
  13. @Pioneer1 I am aware of what the enemies of Black people say in public. You may ignore them, but I don't. Fortunately, according to those who know him personally, DeSantis has a nasty personality which why so many around him think him negative. Trump, although ignorant, comes across a charmer to many in the news media. If news reporters are able to ask DeSantis hard questions, pin him down on his thoughts about Black people and our achievements, perhaps his march to the GOP nomination in 2024 can be halted.
  14. Evidence: that which tends to prove or disprove something; ground for belief; proof. Something that makes plain or clear; an indication or sign. Law: Data presented to a court or jury in proof of the facts in issue and which may include the testimony of witnesses, records, documents, or objects. Proof is the evidence sufficient enough to establish a thing as true, or to produce belief in its truth. When an individual makes a claim, they need to offer proof by presenting evidence. If they cannot, the claim cannot be believed.
  15. @Pioneer1 Dude, just answer my questions. You've already proven you're a dullard when it comes to current affairs. Now, how many Blacks have left California because YOU demanded they do so? How many Haitians have dropped their beliefs in Christianity to adopt worship of African spirits? You don't think Blacks should run for elective office? Wes Moore is now Maryland's Governor. Unlike Arizona Republican phony Kari Lake, this guy actually won his gubernatorial race and was just inaugurated. Wes Moore is Maryland's new Governor
  16. According to Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, the history of the Black Race in the U.S. has no educational value and should not be taught. This must come as a surprise to all the closet Republicans in these Discussion groups. It must also be a kick in the shorts to those with blinders on who claim Florida can't be racist because the state has a population that is diverse, beaches and lots and lots of sun. DeSantis administration rejects Advanced Placement course in African American Studies The rejection of an Advanced Placement African American Studies course follows efforts by DeSantis to overhaul Florida’s educational curriculum to limit teaching about critical race theory. In 2021, Florida passed a law that banned teaching the concept, which explores the history of systemic racism in the United States and its continued impacts. The law also banned material from The 1619 Project, a Pulitzer Prize-winning project by The New York Times to reframe American history around the arrival of slave ships on American shores. In 2022, DeSantis also signed a bill restricting how schools can talk about race with students, according to CNN. What does one expect from the administration of a White guy, who when facing Tallahassee Mayor Andrew Gillum in the gubernatorial race, he insulted his opponent's Blackness by actually warning Florida voters: "Don't monkey this up." DeSantis has also claimed, with no proof, that ISIS was recruiting from Black Lives Matter and believes the Three Fifths Compromise was a good thing. For those who forgot their middle school history, The Three Fifths Compromise was reached at the 1787 Constitutional Convention and determined that every enslaved American would be counted as three-fifths of a person for taxation and representation purposes. This agreement gave the Southern states more electoral power than they would have had if the enslaved population had been ignored entirely. I wonder what this schmuck will come up with when he runs for the White House in 2024. But some Black people have the frigging nerve to defend this racist jerk.
  17. This statement: That's a whopper of a claim. Now, let's see some proof. By the way, just how many Blacks have left California at your urging? I know you don't want to answer the question. But as long as you keep posting goofy and unprovable nonsense, you're going to be called on it.
  18. @ProfD I am with you. BTW, those were not my pics. A good FB pal of mine dug those out. Just as I have been doing for years, he has been warning everyone about the deviousness and hatred that Republicans have for Blacks, Latinos and the working people of this country. It's shame that so many People of Color are fooled by them.
  19. Cynique, Only those who worry about the stars are concerned with the green comet. I never looked to the heavens for omens. Some may be frightened by sights in the skies, but I am not.
  20. Nels, The Governor of Florida has determined that the History of Black people has no educational value. Ron DeSantis is the dude Black people need to wary of and I said this more than a year ago. Hurry on back to your cave of futility. You've never posted words of import to anyone except those who are trying to do us all in.
  21. Cynique, No truer words have been spoken.
  22. Cynique: Try reading the Bible account at Matt 1: 18-25. It is the Apostle Matthew who labeled the three men who came from the East as astrologers in Matt. 2:1. He actually used the Greek word ma’goi to describe those who visited Jesus. The word likely refers to experts in astrology and other occult practices. In the eastern tradition, as many as 12 men made the trip. But in the western tradition, the number is set at three. They were never called kings. Spiritism is condemned in Deuteronomy 18:10-12. Just because the Bible mentions Spiritism, this does not mean it is approved. The same is true of magic. This practice is also condemned. And just because the Bible mentions astrology does not mean the God of the Israelites approved of it. The same is true of rape. It is mentioned several times in the Scriptures. But that does not mean God is okay with it. Now, about the star? Where did it lead the astrologers to? It led them to Jerusalem where they met up with King Herod. From the prophecies in the Hebrew scrolls, Herod knew he would soon have a rival. So, he wanted to kill the baby Jesus. It was Herod and not the star, that directed the astrologers to Bethlehem. All Israelites knew knew their Messiah would be born in that city. So, Herod told the astrologers after they found Jesus to come back let him the baby's location because he, too wanted to do obeisance to the child. But Herod wanted to kill him. There were neither airlines, nor bullet trains back then. It took more than minute to find the child. By the time, the astrologers found Jesus, he was a toddler and living in a house. This is why after the astrologers left to return to the east, Herod realized he had been tricked. And enraged, he order the slaughter of all boy babies two years and under. Do you really think God wanted that done?
