Troy That question is such a weak comparison. First their scale us not comparable. The chance of getting the coin toss right is 50%. The chance of nailing the personality is a much lower probability. First a personality would consist of more than one piece of information. Second it would be difficult to assign a probability to it. Although you could statistically check your accuracy. By using a qualitative test on 50 people, and then checking the accuracy with the person as on set, and three people that k ow the person. Troy I just realized the reading for you. I'm actually going to use a different chart than your natal. You get to be the beta test. How many interpretations have you seen that were the same. I believe there is not objectivity. Due to the frame of reference of the viewer. People have biases so viewpoints can't by definition be objective. Your views even shape your perceptions. Troy - I was just thinking what's the point of me reading your chart. It doesn't constitute proof plus I know you. I don't mind but what is your motivation?

Cynique I call myself a psychic. I was doing a an astrological an the querent asked if I was reading astrologically or using psychic ability. I said both. I have read the wring chart but the reading was correct. Then I have gone back and read the correct chart but it didn't work.

As a general rule, I don't predict death.

When I was writing it I could see it. And it felt real.

Cynique what did you want to know. Well it's interesting because your sun is your spirit, and the moon is your body. So your spirit is more direct, doesn't suffer fools, confident maybe even at bit brash. Your personality or day to day persona is different. It's feminine, changeable, emotional, more concerned function over form. So what happens is that you can go from one to another. Or you can mix match. I generally dont watch tv,but I will pick up a series and watch a season or a few episodes. Like the Californication: good writing. The L Word: didnt grab. Mad men: marketing misogyny. What I find is after a few episodes I lose interest. Partially because I get the show or the characters. And partially because I prefer to be in a bar or be out than watch tv. I got my apartment, learned how to read cards, found my astrology teacher, and met my children's mother. Through people I met in bars and parties. I don't know if there ever was a golden age without distraction. It is the job of the government to keep you distracted so you don't think about your situation. So you have distractions or pageantry: TV, movies, entertainment, war and a day in day the coliseum. I have generally spent between 10 to 50% percent of my time reading or writing. In addition trying to improve my craft and doing astrological research projects. So I don't have much interest in devoting more than 5 hours a month for TV and music. Bars, pubs, parties, plays, concerts and music I put in a different category. Since they stimulate my brain or provide social reaction, sometimes both. I don't generally get that same interaction with most tv or entertainment. Then there's the Olympics. Which is a bit different for me than more commercial sports. I would have to look at the entire chart. She may not have fire but she could have planets in a house that is ruled by fire. Or she could have a fire sign in an angular house which could give her a fiery temperament. So I don't look at any aspect of the chart on isolation. When reading a chart you try to breathe life into the chart and find the person. One of the things I learned from your chart is a person with Mercury and Venus in Taurus. Tend to rely on expert opinion. Although this could be true of other sign types if Mercury and Taurus are in the same sign. I'll have to check.
